Been here a handful of times with our daughter for play dates with friends. The particular facility leaves much to be desired in the way of cleanliness, food and customer service. Food court experiences: Mac n’ Cheese comes straight out a Kraft microwavable cup, I can tell you this with some level of confidence given it was not evenly heated thru when we ordered it. Some parts of it were incredibly boiling, other parts of it were cold. Pizza is doughy as others have remarked and quality may pass for middle of the road store bought freezer selection. You can often overlook bad food by preparing ahead of time [eating a meal elsewhere beforehand] but what you can’t overlook is lacking customer service. This review is largely based on several key observations from a very bad experience today. Many of their attractions, even on busy days have signs that indicate that they are closed but could be opened by a crew member upon request. How about those just be open full time on a Saturday or Sunday? Staff appropriately. Pretty disappointing when you have to track a crew member down to help you enjoy a indoor theme park attraction vs. it being readily available to enjoy. As others have noted, not too many employees enforcing safety protocols or rules for patrons. Lots of times, I cringe at the thought of those littles getting hurt by an older kid/teen. Often these employees can be seen paying more attention to their phones than their jobs, wearing their masks improperly, believe it or not folks it should be over your nose. Chins do not need a diaper, so leave the masks on properly if you are going to wear them at all or just dont. Photo provided to show employee on phone and wearing a mask improperly.Though, nothing was as quite as remarkably disappointing as when we arrived today at 10a.m. due to some bad internet information regarding special holiday hours of operation of 10a.m. (Veterans Day) & to have someone come to the door and tell me that they open at 11a.m., I informed the young [female] manager that online it is showing that they open at 10a.m., but she did not bother to acknowledge it very much in that moment. After waiting an entire hour in the parking lot for them to open, we got into the park and made the manager aware of where that information of opening was located. I have attached a screenshot for reference. She apologized and said the corporate office handles all their time postings, but that is a BIG miss. It is an indoor theme park, shouldn’t someone be triple checking these sites to ensure information is correctly posted about hours of operation? I also bought to that manager’s attention that the Tubes Playground was littered with trash, cups, candy wrappers, eaten lollipops sticks, dust, straw wrappers, paint drippings. She said she would have someone get right on it. No one got right on it, we were there for 2 hours and my daughter being very young spent the majority of the time playing inside there with me and NO one ever cleaned it up. It was clear to me that cleanliness is not something that is checked by management daily or at nightly close if that is how they opened the facility. A real shame, I have attached pictures of all the goodies to be found inside the Tubes Playground. Is it ironic for an establishment that boasts “The World’s Cleanest Indoor Theme Park”.
Urban air is a great place to have some fun with the kids (of all ages) you will be caught time to time with disrespectful lil ones, staff does the best they can to control and direct kids but some of them act as if they should only listen to they mama... a few kids definitely were bounced across the room by my 100 pound son. Can only ask so many times before having to show them there is a reason its 1 person per trampoline...
Great!!!!! So much fun! They have trampolines, gladiator stations, basketball, bumper carts that flip you 360° around, an indoor ziplining, a mosh pit obstacle course, rock climbing, slides and more.Just eat before you come because the prices are too high for the quality of food. The BBQ wings and waffle fries are good. But the pizza was undercooked.Definitely coming back with the kids!
Enjoyed ourselves immensely. The kids loved the activities. The pizza was cooked too fast and tasted doughy. The 7 pizzas took a while to come out during the birthday party. Food prep needs to be worked on even when you have regular guests ordering your paid parties need to be given a little extra care. Just my opinion.
Great to see that these places are still around. My daughter really enjoyed this place. Great variety of things to do and it was very clean. Friendly staff and not expensive at all especially for the location. I highly recommend this place for family fun!
Very courteous staff at the cafe. Mimi handles the memberships, shes awesome as well! Ty guys. Kids had a blast.
Me and my family had a great time. But there were two excellent employee that gave us a better experience than we expected. With great attitude Mimi and Devin were the two employee me and my family had chosen. Mimi had a excellent attitude and was happy to help people out. She brings the place a good mood and does her job professionally . Mimi seemed like she was happy to work there and said she enjoyed her job. Devin or Devan ( sorry if I spelt your name wrong) was great at his job. We were going to different attractions and we always saw him working hard and moving to different attractions. He handled himself good.
They have fun activities that kept my son busy. But that’s about the only thing great here. The food is no bueno. Corporate office was the major let down with the monthly membership during COVID. Once our membership is completed I will not return.
My son had a great time here today. There is so much for him to do. He loves going to a trampoline park, but this was so much better. It had trampolines and all kids of other activities to keep him running everywhere. Plus, the price for the 5 year old and under pass cant be beat. Everyone working was nice and so helpful towards him. He needed help a few times and everyone was patient and friendly. The manager was all over the place working and helping. Plus, it was very obvious they were making efforts to keep everything clean. All employees were wearing masks and I watched them clean throughout our time there. This was comforting considering current events. We drove all the way from St. Pete and we will definitely be back.
My kids loved this place, but the staff behind in the counter was very rude. The young lady and the manager were so anxious to close and go home. They closed the icee machine and kitchen as I stood at the counter. The manager could have offered an apology but instead showed just how much she was ready to go home as well. The place is great. Staff is rude as heck. Including the manager in the evening.
Love it my kids had a blast. Lots to do for the kids zip lining obstacle courses bounces zone and more love it.
What an EPIC experience! My 7 year old boy husband and I all had an incredible SAFE time at Urban Air today! So much more to do then just jumping! Highly recommend very COVID friendly staff was excellent! :)
Our first time! This place is so much fun we had a blast! All the staff is super nice except the manager!! The only down fall is if there is a line and it’s long don’t even bother waiting in it. If it passes your time even if you where in line before. They don’t let you on the ride. Manager was rude explain we where in line way before. There is only one girl checking everyone in and out. She is also sanitizing the gear, she should have not been alone without any help. It’s not the customer fault it took her 20 minutes to check in everyone. Not sure if I will go back!
There were lots of staff just standing around, some even not wearing mask, and not providing any support/supervision in the playing areas. It is great that this seems to be a great place for teenagers to work, however there should be more adult staff in place for a better balance.
Its smaller than it looked online, the food was horrible, we bought a slice of pizza, fries and a drink for $8.00, the slice was tiny and didnt taste good, the waffle fries were cold and under cooked. The chairs to sit on while eating were metal and uncomfortable. Up by the bubble pit it smells like urine. The price of everything was more than the value received.
Horrible place and management! Not safe for anyones kid. My daughter has had numerous procedures since 2/20 to repair a fractured tooth due to the equipment in this facility. Still have not received a phone call or accident report. She cant have a permanent piece (implants) due to her being a child. Not worth the risk or expense going here ever again.
We took our 5 year old for the first time and were disappointed by how poorly managed this place is. The attraction is fun but there is no order. The staff members are not enforcing the safety protocols. They seem to be in their own world and just dont care. Each attraction needs to have a staff member who is monitoring and guiding the guests. As a manager myself in a totally different field, this place made me cringe. I hope this review will help management make the necessary changes with their team.
Vrenda(dont know if that the correct spelling) but she went about and beyond to make sure my daughter Kaitlyns 13th birthday went off with a hit. She deff definitely deserves a raise....Everything else was top notch as well!
I went for a childs party..it was fun and exciting to my family..we will go back again!
It was definitely a fun and unique place in its own right. Pretty inexpensive for a small group though I saw alot of big families. The spinning bumper cars was my favorite and even as an adult I loved going on the really tall swirly slide. Definitely wish the ball pit was deeper though, OUCH! LOL
What a cool place! Very fun. Great staff and they were doing an excellent job sanitizing everything. Great time!
Not too bad. The place is not big but enough things to entertain the kids.
Amazing fun. And also a damn good work out.
Someone from management came to me about a situation but falsely accuse me of disrespectful behavior against a child. This situation was handle improperly and more training is needed.
Weve taken the kids to many places in the area. Hands down, this is the best. We were skeptical about ordering food, but when we did we and the kids were very pleased. Prices are a great value for the food in comparison to most places that serve food in their entertainment complex. Facilities were great. Staff was great. Came in on a busy Saturday and couldnt have been more impressed.
Went there for a birthday party and it was incredible. Staff was incredible. So much fun stuff to do. Highly recommend, so much fun for the entire family!!!
“That was better than Disney World” said my eight year old as we left. This place deserves the high praise, there is so much to do all in one place, zip lining, ninja obstacle course, bumper cars (some that allow you to go upsized down), trampolines, and enclosed play area with slides. All three of my children ages 8,6,3 absolutely LOVED this place! The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful, a rarity these days. So much awesomeness packed into one place. Highly recommend!
Mimi was the best!!! We brought the kids here to pass some time, but we ended up having a bunch of fun ourselves.
Awesome place! Kids don’t wanna leave. So great there’s more than just trampolines! Rock walls, ninja warrior courseS, even a glide line! Friendly workers and owners. Definitely feels safe and clean - very important to me as a dad of 5. Will definitely be back!
Me and my kids had so much fun it was our 1 st time when we got there we was kinda lost at the front they told us a little bit of info but not a lot but when we met jaleesa who is very pretty btw She went over every thing to make sure we understood and help us with our food great job and great customer service we will be bk thank for Everything kids really enjoyed there self. And everything was clean.
So having been here maybe 5 times already I’m able to leave a review :) I am extremely pleased with the service of the workers here. Yes some of them are high schoolers, but the ones I’ve had the pleasure of meeting like Omar, are extremely friendly, professional and fun! Khalid and Eloise have also been great when we go. My son makes it a point to look around for them when we arrive and say hello. The attractions are fun! We can easily spend over 2 hours here or 30 minutes which we have done while my husband is grocery shopping next door. It is a great addition to New Tampa. The manager Billy was great and very helpful to help us plan my sons birthday there. The food is the same food and quality you’d expect at a theme park. It’s just what it is. It’s pizza, wings, chicken tenders etc. I’m glad they have a cauliflower crust pizza which I’ve yet to try but it actually looked very good. Wings and hot dogs were good. My favorite time to visit is during the week where it’s not too crowded and my son can go on everything very quickly. We went on a Friday and it still wasn’t bad at all in terms of crowds. Very well managed. Would highly recommend for all
There is a big variety of things to do for young and old. The staff is wonderful and ever so helpful to everyone. The place is very clean but most of all the fun and memories are priceless!
Great place for the entire family! Something for everyone to enjoy. We had an awesome time and cant wait to go back! The staff could not have been more accommodating.
So much to do in this building, nieces birthday was a blast here (all ages welcome but this is for the kids 3-13)
This is a great place, my kids love it here, but the staff just seem to HATE their job. They ALL seem miserable! my kids (6 & 12 years old) noticed!
Clean, fun, affordable. My 7 and 3 year old had the time of their LIVES here. We will be back over and over again
Urban Air Adventure Park there are many kiosks and 4 registers you’re right. At the time I was there only 2 individuals were working during the busy time. The people coming in and waiting in line didn’t know where to go or who was next which created frustration. I’m very concerned with the ropes course my child got stuck and I had to speak with the supervisor? Manager? I’m not even who was but he didn’t acknowledge the situation, show concern, or say how it could be improved. There were grown men that had to really pull on the rope to get it to go in the right direction. Imagine and 8 year old child who is of height. I will advise parents to make sure they have their kids do a couple push ups before trying the course. It shouldn’t be by height it should be by weight? I also don’t understand how there are grown adults with 8 year olds in the same ball pit and no I’m not speaking of the parents with kids. Just adults there by themselves. There should be a happy hour for adults on weekend nights to keep a balance. Very understaffed on a busy night. Unfortunately I signed my child up for a membership and I can’t cancel without penalty I’m very disappointed in this new place.
Our kids had a blast on the opening day and didn’t want to leave! There’s plenty of cool things for the kids to do here. Would be a great place for a birthday party as well. Only bad thing is the food here is terrible and tastes cheap. But everything else is wonderful, especially the employees!
Good attractions. Very understaffed and poorly managed. Tons of teenagers working there that don’t seem to appreciate the customer experience. If Chick Fil A can do it right for $8/meal, Urban Air should figure it out for $25/ kid admission. Saw a kid vomit in the high traffic area. No one came to clean it up. Told two different staff members. Young girl finally shows up with a broom and dust pan. Leaves again to get a mop (no bucket, disinfectant nor ‘wet floor’ sign). Just kind of swishes it around. Ran out of ALL pizzas before lunch on a Sunday. 25 min to get three kids chicken tender meals that came with cold, soggy fries. Had to come back four times to get the whole meal. Watched several kids panic after getting hung up on the high ropes obstacle course. Kids regularly leave the self service check in for 10-15 minutes at a time to deal with birthday parties- which then pushed you to the full service line with a 20-30 min wait. Poor, poor management.
Very nice place but do not eat here too much money with very little in return. Tried talking to management and they said it was the correct amount for $4.00 + tax for the fried alone. My son loved the place more less he kept wanting to go in the ball put under the obstacle course but he couldnt stay. Hopefully they add a ball pit alone to cater to the younger kids
I love the place but some of the young kids your employees are rude to alot ok kids ive seen babies being yell at by employees for no reason but food is cheap and great prices and it great but some of yall young employees are not kid friendly
Ninja Course, Dodgeball, Basketball, Sky Coaster, spinning/flipping cars, slides, these are just a few of the activities that my children and I got to enjoy at this awesome adventure park! Our boys are 5 and 7 years old and they couldn’t get enough of the Ninja Course and the Wipe Out game. Mom even got in on the fun! Not your typical adventure park so many activities to choose from
I did not appreciate the fact that my daugther was mistreated by one of the attendants and even after we talked to the manager in charge, we saw the same staff member kept talking down to kids and make them do his job. Careless attitude from management. Not only that, I understand it was a busy day but to see the restrooms the way they were show how this place doesnt care for the well being of their customers, here is a few photos.
Amazing.myself a 4yr old and 7 yr old had so much fun. Staff was friendly and helpful. I’m happy we have a place to go with kids nearby. They also have lockers (you pay) to use. Plenty of seating available.
Kids loved it! They had tons of fun! Very clean for now. Great deal with the monthly ultimate package. I am sure we will be back!
Urban Air Tampa is great! They helped me book my sons birthday with no issues. Everything is booked for March and I received an email confirmation within minutes. Thank you for your help.
Awful service, we order a loaded waffle fries, after waiting at the counter for 30 minutes fries came without cheese nor bacon as suppose to. When ask for my loaded fries they said they did not have bacon anymore. The place is operated by too many young people without direction. The adventure park is cool but the service is really bad. Hope they fix it.
Best place for adults and children
Very excited to have UrbanAir in the area. My kid loves it! Great way to exercise and decrease the screen time ️
Lots of fun, kids had a great time at the birthday party
Great place for indoor play. Lines can be confusing and you may have to wait twice to get special socks. Food is expensive, but you are a captive audience. Very busy on holidays and weekends.
Great place, lots of fun for the kids.
So much to do and tons of fun! Chris was awesome helping me fix a ticket issue. We will be back!!
Great place for the entire family. I enjoyed watching my grandchildren have so much fun!
Awesome place for the whole family! So many different adventures to experience. So much fun!
Its a great place for your child/ren to burn off energy. The only reason I didnt give a 5 star is because it should be bigger.
Way better than any other indoor trampoline spot in Tampa! Great fun for THE WHOLE FAMILY! Btw pizza was delicious!!!!
Fun, fun, fun place to bring your kids, friends and family.
The place lack supervision and management need more staff member to manage the attraction when you have so many people in the location
We went in just to tour the place and see what our options were for a rent out for team activities. Im excited about the accommodations that they offer and cant wait for the team to experience the fun!
This place is so awesome! Both the kids and the parents had a blast.
Really fun place loved it a lot really nice and fun and also there was a worker named Jose he was really nice and fun and helped out a lot. Thanks for the good day
Awesome experience.. We went as group of 10 and had sooper fun
Went on opening day at New Tampa. It was fun. My 5 yr old had a blast. The areas has height restrictions. She really wanted to do the sky line stuff, but she is under 48 inches tall, so cudnt. The fun part is, we can just get the 5 and under ticket for kids abd still do all the rides (if they meet height requirement). I love the parent pass option, we dont have to buy the full ticket to watch kids. The one thing i was disappointed in waz, there is nothing much for younger kids. My 2 year old had nothing other than a slide, even that he couldnt climb on withiut help, they are more loke made for 4 or older kids. He kept cryinfg to go to the ball pit (which was actually the ballpit under adventure course). Hope they will add on. We were so looking for an annual pass for some place like this.
Popcorn was good, but very unorganized and long lines for everything.
Kids really enjoyed it
Sorry guys, but as it turns out, the kids preferred Altitude.
Very fun place
Little pricey but fun
Fun and economical for the kids
My kids didn’t get to enjoy the festivities dew to lack of employees to check us in
Always a goodtime
Kids had a fantastic time
Yes is good
Way over crowded and nothing for toddlers to do
Love it
Having a membership is worth it...
Fun
