Recently I celebrated my son’s 15th birthday at Bet You Can’t Escape. It was an awesome experience! Melissa (the organizer) was very nice and arranged and cooperated so well. Everything was accommodated as per our requirements. Kids had great fun. Would highly recommend.

We had a blast. There was initially a schedule issue where the owner was not aware we were coming in and they were getting ready for an event but they graciously took us in anyway and it was SO fun (probably one of the best rooms Ive been to). We appreciated the last minute room prep and will be back again

We paid online and and when we got there the worker said our schedule was not confirmed and did not take us in. we paid like $100 for nothing. There was only one worker and she was being really rude and had an attitude.The day before we called like 5 times to confirm our schedule and nobody answered the phone. I really recommend going somewhere else don’t waist you money here.

Escape room consisted of simple combination locks and a bunch of arcade games. Game Master had to physically enter the room because we couldnt get a lock open after trying for twenty minutes, despite having the right combination. They ended up cutting the lock off.Honestly, I was embarrassed after this room because Id talked up escape rooms to my coworkers and had convinced them to come out for this experience.

We have been to Bet You Cant Escape twice so far, the most recent time last week. After visiting just a few weeks ago we had to come back and try the 2nd room. After finishing that room, we booked the third room which we will do in a couple weeks.Currently, the first room is a video game themed challenge featuring retro consoles (SNES and others). In case youre wondering if all aspects involve video games, no. Only part of the challenge involves video games. The second room is a murder mystery, and the third room is based on the movie Inception.The owners are incredibly nice with great personalities. The building and rooms are clean. Each room was well thought out and provides a thorough challenge to escape. I cannot say enough about this company. Only thing that would be better is if they served beer as well, but you will probably not find that at any escape room. As an added bonus, the rooms have some older items such as a rotary phone, a cassette player, and retro games. Bring the younger kids so they can ask what are these things!The owners said they are currently designing new room concepts for the future for those who have tried the current 3 rooms. We will be back again once they do. Great job guys!

My husband and I have completed all of their current rooms and have had a lot of fun each time! We are escape room enthusiasts, so we have seen a lot of variety! Escape Arcadia was definitely a unique experience that we havent seen done anywhere else yet. Our favorite thing about the escape room community is that we almost always encounter chill, super friendly owners and staff. Bet You Cant Escape was no exception! Shout out to Jordan who took care of us each time we visited! We think you are awesome (:

We did the Escape Arcadia room and it was really well done! We have done a lot of escape rooms (nationally and internationally) and this was really unique and we had never done one quite like this. The room and location was well maintained - which is a nice change since so many escape rooms end up being in a basement or back alley. It was refreshing that this was in a nice location and the props were clean and well kept. We will be back to do the other rooms and highly recommend it!

The hidden gem of Tampa escape rooms. We just did the arcade escape room and it ranks in my top 3 escape rooms!! The game master was awesome and although it was a moderately challenging room he gave us the option of hints or not. He was by far the best game master we’ve had (thanks Jordan!). We will ABSOLUTELY be back for the other two rooms. Whether you have never done a room or are expert level you have to play the Arcadia room!

Ive done 2 of their rooms so far and they were both great. Ive done Arcadia which is awesome video game themed and Dream Scape which was awesome as well!

Super friendly staff and a really unique room! This was the first time we have ever had a room quite like this, and for the price, it was really well done. We have done other rooms that cost more, but they were definitely not as well maintained. We will be back for sure.

She was unprofessional, I called for 3 days straight to get confirmation but no one answers.They are understaffed and I payed for 7 people and she says there is nothing available from us. Unbelievable!

Very fun experience with the whole family! Jordan was very friendly and even let us schedule a custom time appointment since the ones available online couldn’t work for us. The arcade theme of Escape Arcadia was unique and perfect for our gamer friends but still enjoyable for the ones who aren’t that into video games. The puzzles and clues were more linear but still a lot of fun. There was even a comfortable waiting room with a movie playing and small games while we signed our waivers. Overall, our experience was great!

She was so unprofessional. She was barefoot and the place was a mess. If you are looking for a fun time go some where else.

CUSTOMER BEWARE!Save your time, save your money.I don’t like to leave reviews like this.But this place shocked me from service to production value to overall experience.The website looked amazing and was what drew us in. I am an Escape room enthusiast with experience with over 80 rooms around the country.Firstly had trouble with the online booking. But finally reserved “The Man in The Mask” room.Arrived to the location to no one at the desk. Then two employees walked in from back unenthused (tall slender young male and young female with tattoos). Soft spoken and not engaging at all. At this point I’m not too bothered yet, but very aware of the lack of interest. For a paying customer at 32 dollars a head I kinda expect a bit more even at this point.Entering the room brought on the next level of disappointment, with exhausted explanations of the story line and clear lack of care to the room physical nature to the room.File cabinets where breaking and falling apart. Cassette tapes and quality where very poor and difficult to make out in order to progress through the story.I got cut on the arm with a metal bed reaching for a hidden item we needed to progress through the room.A wooden bookshelf fell completely apart while we where expected to find clues in it.A six foot tall cabinet doorway hanging off of one hinge and one screw continuing to fall on us while trying to get in the space.To top it off, while we were in the room, the two workers came in from time to time interrupting the flow of the game and not mentioning why they where in there. (To fix the time clock that was not working correctly and more times to see if they placed all the correct items and clues mid-game)Crazy enough... we escaped, and to follow that we could not have been ushered out more swiftly. Giving us the feeling of just wanting to shut the door and put the “were closed” sign on.We were very displeased and will be reaching out for a refund. Not sure what will happen with that. But I do not recommend this place nor will I be returning. The 4.8 star rating is not a true reflection of me and my family’s experience. I could recommend 5 other great escape rooms in the Tampa Bay Area. This one unfortunately would not make my list.

Let me start off by saying I have done many escape rooms in the Tampa Bay Area. I have done two rooms at this location and they are my two least favorite rooms. Both experiences, months apart, the staff was noticeably distracting to the game. On our most recent visit we did not asking for any hints but the game master contributed to come over the speaker and point blank tell us what to do ( about ten times). Why would I pay 30+ dollars for a lackluster experience. I am also rating this location as one star due to the facilities. The game master has her boyfriend in the office and her baby running around the building screaming. A filing cabinet, bookshelves, and clock in the room were all dilapidated and potentially dangerous. To me, the current rating does NOT reflect the quality of this venue. If you want a high quality experience with clean, safe, and immersive technology I recommend visiting Outerlife Studios in St. Petetsburg AND Exit Games in Clearwater. Scorched (Outerlife) and Servants of Sleight (Exit Games) are the two best games in Tampa Bay.

Took my escape room virginity! And it was AWESOME! honestly, this place was super fun for a Friday afternoon lady date with some chicks from the office! Affordable, friendly and fun without question. We did The Man in the Mask and it was a super fun experience! Id definitely recommend checking this place out and I plan to go again, soon! Keep it up yall!

We did the Escape Arcadia game which was super fun and well-themed. We typically do Escape games in Orlando (where we are from) and were excited to try a new venue. This was different from others we’d done and we appreciated that. Bet You Can’t Escape did not disappoint. The employee was just the perfect amount of helpful to make sure we didn’t get stuck.

Booked Escape Arcadia for my daughters 14th birthday. 7 people 4 adults and 3 teens. It was great. This was my 2nd escape room trip but the 1st for everyone else in our group. My daughter had so much fun she is ready to book the next one. My husband who does not normally like things like this had a blast and is also ready to go back. Shout out to Jordan who made our visit wonderful.

We did the Arcadia room for my sisters birthday!! There were 9 of us (8 adults and 1 child). There was plenty of room for us in the room and we all had had an amazing time!! We definitely plan on returning! Friendly staff, also! #SupportSmallBusinesses

We had a blast!! Great group activity. We did the man in the mask room, it was very challenging and keeps you on your toes, never a dull moment. Staff was exceptionally friendly. Cant wait to go back and try another room. If I was a betting woman I would have definitely lost. Bet YOU cant escape!

Ive never tried to solve an escape room challenge before so i was not sure what to expect. Luckily for me my clever team members were able to immediately solve all the puzzles with only 6 seconds left to spare. A really fun place to escape to and from. I cant wait to go back and try the other rooms.

This was a really fun Escape Room, and its located right in the heart of Tampa. This is a decently sized location, that offers 3 different escape scenarios, 2 of which are multi-room escapes. Bet You Cant Escape was very clean, and the staff was superb. The owner and staff were really friendly, and were even able to chat afterwards and gave us some insights on the fun in the other rooms. There is also a nice brewery located 3 min South from this location, and the manager gave us discount cards to the brewery to celebrate our escape with some drinks; another plus. Will definitely visit again to complete the other 2 rooms. Would recommend this as a fun afternoon or evening activity for a group of friends...or enemies!

I cant speak highly enough about the level of service and attention that I received from the staff here. Mark in particular helped me coordinate/incorporate my proposal into one of the escape rooms and Ill be forever grateful for that. We did Dream Extraction and it was very fun yet challenging to work our way through the puzzles. I highly recommend trying escape rooms as a fun new form of entertainment and this location in particular has some great rooms with even greater service.

Havent attempted our escape yet but cant help starting with 5 stars!!! Planed a last min birthday party today for my daughters 16th. Mark made my day, week, month, year!! He was very polite, professional, and accommodating. Looking forward to Friday evening Man in the Mask escape with 1 hour in VIP room. Mark asked if we had a theme planned.....I mentioned she likes Stranger Things, he immediately responded with, We have Netflix and they can enjoy watching it during her party in the VIP room. This is the easiest and fastest party planning ever. Will update after our special event.

Came here with my family first time doing an escape room and I must say I was not disappointed. The staff was awesome so welcoming gave us a tour and gave me a birthday discount. The room we did was man in the mask and it was lots of fun. We did escape. I will definitely be coming back and recommend to friends. Thanks guys!!

I only rated this a 1 star, because that is the lowest rating option.Bought a groupon today for 7 participants. I reserved 3pm for the Arcadia Room. I called on our way to tell them we were running about 10 minutes late and told no problem.First of all, he answered the phone hello.We get there and he tells me no reservation for me, plus he would be double booked as one of their rooms is broken. I explained we drove 45 minutes and what did he suggest I do...he replied turn around and drive back 45 minutes. No apology. Our last day of spring break and me and 6 teens are seriously disappointed.I can tell you with 100% certainty Jordan does not want to work there. He told me he hardly makes minimum wage as a way to justify him not caring. This was the lowest of the lowest of customer service I have ever experienced. Best to let Jordan go as he will single-handedly be the end of this business.

OmG I had so much fun with my family! For some Reason I thought it would be different but I never knew we were going to have fun trap in a room deciphering clues. Loved it. The personnel were great and helped a lot lol. Thank you Justin and Marc. Will be back again!

It was my very first escape room experience and I did not leave disappointed. The staff was nothing short of amazing. I was with a group of people for a team building experience which was perfect because we all had to work together to figure out how to get out of the room. There were 3 rooms to choose from and my group decided on The Man In the Mask room (A murder mystery) We were immediately immersed into the main plot in a detectives office. The room was well designed, with good puzzle progression, and when we found ourselves in a bind, we were given clues to help us get back on track. The puzzles were challenging, and there were some great surprise twists in the plot to solve the mystery. I had a lot of fun and I would most definitely go back to enjoy the other rooms as well as recommend this to any one wanting a unique and entertaining experience.

First escape room. Not impressed but could be my age..

I bought a Groupon for my teens and let them go with friends as a group and they loved it! Perfect for high schoolers looking for something different to do. They are hooked and have been working on planning another trip try the other rooms.

I have done several escape rooms in the Tampa area, and this one is my favorite by far. I went with a group a friends and we had so much fun. It was a nice mix of challenging and teammwork. Even the waiting room was nice and spacious, and they had games available to play while you wait. We will definitely be back!

The place was great, the workers were very generous when it came to the hints and the game was fun. We did the investigation room(cant remember the name right now), with 9 people and solved the mystery just after time ran out. Some clues were hard to find and hidden in plain sight. Overall the game was exhilarating and got the brains gears turning.

My first time going to an escape room and I loved it! I had a decent sized party so I called almost every other escape room company looking for one to accomodate us and not only did they work us in, their customer service was excellent. I was highly suggest checking them out and the escape room was Amazing! We made it out with 30 seconds to spare!

We got to solve the one about the school teacher who was making a weapon. it was awesome so much fun. it was very well done. took my siblings and spouses it was a blast.

High quality escape rooms all the way. I did escape Arcadia with my family (10 of us ranging in ages from 10-66yrs old) and it was challenging enough for everyone but was not frustrating. I suggest you enter this room with at least one person who is great at games though. If you have a group of gamers, this is the room for you! Also...Ive been to about 6 escape rooms in different states and countries and when it comes to cleanliness and overall appearance, this one is def my top choice. When it comes to the staff, also this one hands down. The escape game itself, lets just say, my family of 10 booked another room before leaving and there was also another family who were booking their 3rd room and begging for more rooms to be made.

This place was great! I just held a team leadership development event there and we loved it! We rented out the entire space from noon until 5 p.m. and the owners were extremely accommodating. There was a small misunderstanding / miscommunication about the VIP lounge area set up but Justin was apologetic, profesional, courteous, and focused on making sure things were corrected and we were pleased. It turned out that the miscommunication of the VIP lounge set up was actually a lot better than what I had planned on. The rooms were creative original and extremely invented. Weve set up many escape room team functions and this is by far the best one yet. We will definitely be back.

My son was here for a birthday party and raved about it. The childrens only complaint was that it was a little slow to start. The facility was great however.

I have personally been to numerous escape rooms around Tampa/St. Pete/Orlando and this one is one of my favorite spots. Rooms are moderately difficult with a helpful, friendly staff. I have, myself, done all 3 of their rooms twice over.

I have been here 2 times in 2 weeks with my family and it is a blast! We did the Escape Arcadia and CSI rooms. The escape rooms are large and roomy for large groups and everything is clean! Very well taken care of by wonderful employees! You will not be disappointed.

Had an amazing time tonight at bet you can’t escape! Also staff is amazing very knowledgeable with all rooms we did man in the mask we didn’t make it out but were close. Loved that it it as challenging and will definitely return to try another room.

This was my first Escape room experience so I have nothing to compare it to. Over all it was fun and a great team building opportunity.

Very fun! The gamemasters are funny and helpful. The rooms are unique and themes appeal to all group types.

Easily the best escape room Ive done! The puzzles dont bottle neck halfway through. They arent number puzzles (how do or dont these numbers relate?). It was a blast! And the owners talk to you afterwards and really pride themselves on giving you a great experience.

Good experience and excellent service. Reccomend it for bigger groups as it will take different skills and lots of collaboration to escape. It is fun, enjoyable and also favorable for groups and birthdays.
