I booked The Asylum for a birthday adventure for my boyfriend - neither of us have done an escape room before, but we both play and enjoy similar video game experiences. Dallas was our guide for the first attempt (we didn’t escape the first time) and she was super energetic and helpful, you could tell she loves her job and that made it all the more fun for us. When we didn’t make it through, they offer the “re-attempt” at 1/2 off so we just HAD to finish the room the next day. We thought we could just easily rip through, boy were we wrong - we finished with only a minute to spare! so much fun and definitely brain challenging. This is a family owned place and they do an outstanding job of really bringing the room theme to life. A definite must try experience!

I have been to many escape games all over central Florida and this one was top notch. We did Asylum (scary, innovative, challenging) as well as the Shack (bright, physical games) which was just as good! Fantastic staff and clean and safe experience. Highly recommend and cant wait to go back!

First time doing an escape room ever. The room looked plain at first, but there were a lot of hidden surprises to interact with. I had an enjoyable time and would go back again. They even offer a half off price for you to re-do a room. They seem to update their rooms periodically to keep current. I went as a group of four, and they said we did about average. The staff was very helpful and cheery and made sure we had a good experience.

We have escaped from Asylum and the Shack and both are worth your time. Asylum is super creepy and creative with enough suspense to keep you on your toes the entire hour. The Shack contrasts nicely with asylum providing a pleasant storyline and larger physical puzzles. Both very challenging but also very enjoyable. Jo and Tony are just as awesome as the rooms themselves. Super friendly and clearly love their job. Enough can’t be said about their commitment to customer service and friendliness. Can’t wait to come back for more rooms to come!

Hands down the best Escape room in Tampa Bay area we have done so far.Their rooms are unique, with great puzzles, and almost every aspect is used as a clue. They create their own rooms and Jo is a great Escape artist. Asylum is probably one of the most intriguing and hardest escape rooms we have done and were 98% there!We also did the Pandemic which was great and quite challenging.I would highly recommend trying them and doing their rooms!!Cant wait to do the third one!!

Caretaker was an immersive, fun experience!! Wonderfully thought out and brought to life! The perfect amount of challenging for a fun night out. We will be returning to try out every room.

On Thursday night, we visited Americas Escape Game in Tampa and we had an AMAZING time! We played Crisis at 1600 and absolutely loved it. The quality of the game and the room was the best we have done yet! The owner, Jo, was so nice and hospitable also. Great folks and great place! We prepaid to return and play another room. We definitely recommend this Escape Room!!

Just wanted to say that this is the biggest, scariest, and the most fun Escape Room I’ve ever been to! I’ve never seen such creativity and story come to life like I did when I visited America’s Escape Game! The owners are nice and wonderful people who actually care about their customers and their experiences. I will definitely be coming back in the future because I am so excited to see what’s next! Ive done a lot of escape rooms at many places. But the one I did here tonight (Asylum) was by far the best escape room Ive done yet! Oh my goodness it was the perfect mix of creepy, scary, challenging and fun!

My friend and I came into this chain unsure of how good it would be. We did the Asylum and the production quality of it was fantastic not to mention we got a little freaked out a couple times by some surprises. Our game guide and co-owner of this franchise Jo was amazing. She let us play the game to our desire and only helped when really needed as I am pretty stubborn about that. After finishing it with only 6 seconds left, we were talking to Jo about how much we enjoyed that room. Since it was a quiet evening, we decided to do Pandemic right after. There were a lot of things to do in this room but definitely doable. It was challenging but overall fun. Come to find out Jo and her husband built all the rooms from scratch and did an AMAZING job. All the things in the room were triggered by us and the rooms were self-sufficient. I highly recommend anyone who wants to play and escape game, come check out this one. We will absolutely be back again to finish the rest of the rooms.

Hands down one of the top escape rooms I’ve done and I’ve completed a lot! I love the thoroughness in each room. You can tell it wasn’t just thrown together like some other escape rooms I’ve been to. I’ve only did one room here so far but was blown away and will definitely be back to complete the rest. The room was heavily detailed you can these people really care about making an escape room fun and enjoyable here!

My friends and I had a wonderful experience here! The room was really amazing, it was filled with interesting and challenging puzzles and the atmosphere was wonderfully creepy with jumpscares to keep you on your toes. Also Jo was incredibly kind and inviting! She changed arrangements just to allow for us to try the room we really wanted to, which I thought was so nice of her. She made our time here really special! Overall, I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys escape rooms and I will absolutely be returning to try some more!

Have done two here so far just did the Asylum room and it was super eerie and alot of fun! Be prepared for some good scares. Josh did an amazing job and we will be back!!

Love love loveeee America’s escape game Tampa! Hands down the best escape rooms I’ve ever been to- and I’ve been to most in the area from Tampa to Orlando! Each room is unique and very interacting and engaging. They are too easy yet not too challenging either. The owners, Tony and Jo are amazing as well as there daughter who is responsible for all of the media for the place! Super nice people and fantastic games! Will definitely be back to try the new games this summer!!!

My boyfriend and I have done well over 100 escape rooms and company’s. When it comes to more puzzle like rooms one of us excels at them. First the guy that took us to the room barely explained the room. Basically said “here’s the room and oh wait you have to watch 2 videos.” Moving onto the start of the actual room, our Game Master barely said anything. We ask for a clue and each time she gave us basically the same clue just rephrased. After seeing how unhappy we were at the end of the game she continued to just be rude. When we asked about one of the puzzles she didn’t have the answer for us. She then proceeds to tell us “we’ll 3 people don’t work in this room you have to have 5 or more” The website clearly states 2-8 players and the room was super small (the shack). We have been to America’s escape game in Orlando and had an amazing experience so we figured it would be similar. We were very wrong.

Great place for a family outing or get together with friends. Owners were much more than accomodating and the facility is extremely clean. Definitely going back soon, try it you wont be dissapointed.

This is by far the best escape room in Tampa! I have been to another one before, but this one is very unique and a bit different from the others around town. Each escape room has another room to unlock and discover clues in order to entirely escape the room. The graphics and details of each room are amazing! Asylum is my favorite escape room -- scary (for me), but really fun! The owners and staff are super friendly and amazing as well! I highly recommend this place, and cant wait to go back with a group of friends!

First of all, huge shout out to Tony, the owner! He was fantastic with us. I really appreciated his involvement in making it an excellent experience. I am an escape room addict, and I can say he has done a fabulous job with the decor in the rooms. I dont love scary at all, but the asylum was my favorite room. It was challenging and really well done. Of the 3, which we did them all, I think Crisis at 1600 was probably my least favorite, but still a good room. Great experience and were looking forward to the next room opening there!

Not sure why it got a 4.9 star review Ive done over 30 escape games and this one wasnt even close to my favorite we ended up in the shack and when they say u need the 3 clues they mean you need 10 clues and an extra half an hour that they are considering making the room... if that is the case then maybe Id have given it a better rating but for now based on that room its a 2 star..

Great experience! Great challenge! Definitely stumped us at times. Id say its the best escape room in the Tampa Bay area. Definitely coming back to try the other rooms soon! A special thanks to the owners for the great customer service and helping set up a nice night out with my girlfriend!

Had so much fun doing this escape room with my friend and boyfriend. It was our first escape room experience and I think we picked the perfect place to do it. We did asylum and we escaped! The staff was very friendly and they did everything they could to make your experience fun! I’ve been to many locations across several states (including other escape rooms in Tampa) and this is HANDS DOWN the best experience I’ve ever had. Completed Asylum with five others. It was the absolute best escape room Ive done so far. Fully immersive experience. You really do feel like you are in a spooky asylum. The puzzle are a ton of fun—not too easy, not too difficult. The staff is amazing. Thank you guys for a fun evening! Ill definitely be back when Im in the area.

We loved every second of our visit to Americas Escape Game. My fiance and I took on Asylum because we love the spooky rooms and boy, this one did not disappoint! The atmosphere fit the theme spot on, the puzzles were fun and challenging, and the scares were on point! To top it all off, the owners (Jo and Tony) are incredible. You can see the absolute passion they have for their rooms and the industry as a whole. We cant wait to go back to knock out the other rooms!!

We just got back from doing the Asylum escape room here. It was amazing!The puzzles were fair but difficult, and they even added some scary stuff into it for you. The owners of the company are wonderful to work with and really take the time to have you enjoy the experience. Theyre willing to offer you help if you need it. We cant wait to come back and try the other rooms!

This was my first experience at an escape room and it was super fun. I was with a group of ladies from bible study and it was a great team building exercise for us. We did Crisis at 1600 and it is tough. When we were stuck, Jo helped us with the clues we needed. I highly recommend Americas Escape Game for some good clean fun!

Americas Escape Game was the first escape room experience I have ever had! We started with Asylum and that room was SOOOO much fun! I loved everything about it ! We loved it so much we ended up coming back in the later afternoon to do Pandemic and then the following day to do the third room! I cannot rave enough about the owners and their family! They are truly AWESOME people are who clearly enjoy their business!! We HIGHLY recommend you visit them!!

It was fun. We felt supported given it was our first time and there were only 2 of us in our party. It was challenging, but as we went it felt doable.

Our family had an incredible time!! Our first time here was certainly a memorable one. Pandemic was an exciting room. The room was intense, challenging and had our blood pumping. We loved the challenge so much we stayed and played a second game...Asylum. Wow, another awesome room that did not disappoint! We loved the adrenaline rush. Jo & Tony are awesome.

Our office went to this escape room for a team building activity; it was awesome! The puzzles were challenging and fun, and we (just barely) made it out! Jo made scheduling for the group event a breeze. We will definitely be back to play again!

I have been to other escape rooms before and Americas Escape Game was by far the BEST escape room we have been to. Very interactive, not one boring moment.

Phenomenal. We’ve done a good bit of escape rooms in the past and “The Asylum” was my favorite of them all. It’s very well put together. We were genuinely impressed.

This was so far the best escape room weve been to. We have been to at least 15 rooms and this was the best room setup of them all. Clues are well thought out and felt like it was worth every penny. Rooms have multiple areas to complete which makes for a better experience. Details on the rooms is top notch and was blow away by how well this place puts a room together. Keep it up we will be back for the other rooms and whatever you come up with next.

We did Crisis at 1600 for a corporate team building event consisting of 10 people. First off, Jo was very easy to work with to set up the booking and was responsive and patient when we had to reschedule. The escape room was easy to find and the staff were ready for us even though the booking time was before business hours. Because we were a large party, we were worried about there not being enough space and enough puzzles to keep everyone occupied, however THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. I am not going to comment more on the size because I don’t want to spoil the game for anyone, however this was our favorite part. The game was riveting, nicely decorated, and we certainly got our money’s worth! I would recommend America’s Escape Game to anyone who is considering doing an escape room.

I was pretty skeptical and was expecting this to be a pretty boring experience, something along the lines of a real life board game. Turns out it was actually pretty fun and well done. My group did Asylum and everyone had a really good time. I would definitely come back

One of the best escape rooms we have been to. We went to pandemic, and the puzzles were not easy and well thought out. We had 4 in our group and we could have use a few more intelligent brains. You really use everything in the rooms, and the rooms are cohesive, no red herrings. The environment was done well. We cant wait for the space theme room to come out.

The room designs were very intricate and fitting for the theme. The puzzles were very challenging and theme related. Definitely a room for 4 or more people (it was designed for 10) because there are several detailed puzzles which would require more that 2 experienced brains. Jo and her family were very informative and created a amazingly fun and interactive experience! This is definitely one of our favorite escape rooms!

What a great experience!We reserved the Asylum for our daughter’s birthday party. This was a perfect place to entertain a group of girls from 9-17. They had an amazing time!The parents enjoyed watching the game play out from the conference room, which is a perfect set-up for birthday parties or corporate events. It was interesting watching the group work together to solve puzzles and be completely scared out of their minds!This is a first-class operation and the owners are super friendly and great people with a ton of experience with escape rooms.Book your adventure and Be prepared for an outstanding experience!

This is our 11th escape room spanning from Tampa to Orlando over about a six month time line. We went through Pandemic here and absolutely loved the entire experience. The staff is wonderful and pleasant. Our room was beautifully constructed with great technical events and high quality decor. Every prop was top notch and the puzzles streamlined with our narrative. Overall this was a fantastic experience and we would really like to see this company produce more games.

Fun experience! Some puzzles felt a little tedious for the Pandemic room but it was a lot of fun. Previously playing the Asylum and Caretaker in Orlando I prefer this location just because I think the staff is a bit more attentive to watching our game. Thank you Chris helping us through!! I’ll be back for Crisis at 1600 for sure.

We completed Crisis at 1600 as a small group and had a blast! The room was tricky with our size group and kept us on our toes the whole time. We have done many escape rooms and this one gave us a run for our money. The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating, and the decor and puzzles were fantastic! Weve been to a few escape rooms in the past and this one is definitely at the top of my favorites list thus far! We decided to do the Pandemic room and I was very impressed with the level of detail and creativity that was put into it. It was both challenging and fun! The level of friendliness of the staff also made the experience all the more worth it. We will definitely be back!

Hands down, this is one of the best Escape Rooms I have been into! The level of detail is AMAZING! You can tell they spent a lot of money putting it together. With there just being 2 of us in the Pandemic room, it was extremely difficult! More than I thought it would be. Staff gave us clues as we moved along and were very nice to us. We would totally come back ASAP, but we live out of state. I highly recommend!

I went there for the first time with my step-son for his birthday, he was so excited by the time we were done I was more excited than him. We had a great time it allowed us to connect and bond. It was harder than what I thought originally but I was really much fun trying to figure everything out. Definitely will be going back again.

Jo was so friendly, funny, and helpful The room was challenging and so fun! Our room, the crisis at 1600 I think is the name, was multi chambered which I love and there were many different types of puzzles.

My family and I did the asylum escape room.Jo greeted us and she was so nice and funny and welcoming. The asylum room was really unique and fun! Jo gave us the option of having an extra scary experience and we took it so we got a couple extra jump scares haha. There were a few reveals that I have never seen used before it was really cool! We escaped with two minutes to spare so it was just hard enough!

Having never been at an Escape Room Adventure I wasnt sure what to expect. Had a great time with my family! Id definitely do it again!

This is the first escape room we as a family have ever tried. We did not escape but the thrill of beating the clock while searching for clues to find the way out made it an exhilarating experience. It is a great place for families, friend gatherings and even birthday parties. I cant wait to return and hopefully escape!!

This was my first time in an Escape Room and I cant tell you how much fun we had! I didnt know what to expect but it was the perfect balance of mystery and scary atmosphere, with very clever codes to crack. Everything was so well presented, with such attention to detail. Clearly a lot of thought had been put into each and every aspect. We didnt break all the codes to get out within 60 minutes. Considering we only had 4 people (and you can have up to 8), we only needed 10 minutes more to get out of the room, which isnt bad. Cant wait to do my next Escape Room. Im addicted now!
