Incredible Escape Room!! The attention to detail and intricacy was impressive and had us talking about the game all night. This was the third escape room Ive ever done and far above the best one Ive ever gone through. I would highly recommend!!

After many recommendations from other Escape Room operators in the South Florida area, my wife and I decided to play the Shadows of the Skunk Ape room at Rabbit Hole Escape Games. We were welcomed by our friendly game master, and directed to our room. The details, theme and immersion were on point. There was a wide variety to the puzzles that kept us on our toes and we escaped with only a little time to spare. We both enjoyed what this room had to offer and would recommend to anyone looking for a fun challenge that will make you think! This was our 32nd room played and well be back to play their other rooms for sure! Thank you for a great experience!

I have never participated in an escape room before and though this would be a great idea to have for my team at work as a team building adventure. What a great time we had!!! Thank you so much to the staff for making our event FUN!!!

GREAT TIME!!! Came here with a group of friends for my husbands Birthday and we had so much fun!! They have multiple rooms with challenging puzzles and locks. The rooms get more challenging as you go. The moderator does a great job in catering to your skill level. Its very clean and the staff is great! I would definitely recommend to anyone interested. We will definitely be going back for part 2!

Some of the story and acting is a bit cheesy but it’s so cool to have skunk ape themes! I organized a team building exercise for work and we were split into two groups of 8 to do both rooms. I ended up in the Lore and it was such a cool escape room since you move into various rooms but some of the puzzles were tricky and you cannot solo some of them (if you are dividing and conquering). We barely made it out but it was an awesome experience. The other team did not make it out so I’m not sure if these puzzles are too hard for little ones but the puzzles have lights and other electronic elements so keep that in mind. I highly recommend for any skunk ape fan!

Played Part 1 of the Skunk Ape Adventure. Was a really good room. Lots of things to do and puzzles to solve. Well built and smooth transitions. Highly recommend.

We happened across this escape room and after a quick call to see if they could fill a time gap, we were not disappointed. 4 of the 5 in the party had never been in an escape room. Rabbit Hole did not disappoint, we all had a fantastic time.

Weve been to several escape rooms in the Tampa Bay area, and this one is our favorite. The rooms are immersive and decorated well, and theres several rooms in one game. The moderator does a great job in catering to your skill level. Easy to make reservations. Its very clean and I would definitely recommend to anyone interested.

We celebrated Fathers Day at Rabbit Hole. It was so much fun! We all had a great time. Definitely one of the more involved rooms weve been in. Will be coming back for part 2.

Rabbit Hole Escape Games is awesome! I’ve done over 70+ escape rooms and Shadows of the Skunk Ape was one of my favorites! I am from out of town and wished I had more time to try their other rooms. The room was full of surprises, cool unique puzzles, and challenging yet achievable tasks. The lobby area is also very clean and spacious. The owner was SUPER nice and passionate. Also another great thing to mention, we got unlimited amount of clues! This was very helpful and contributed to the overall experience. Highly recommend this place.

This was a highlight for my wife and me on our recent trip to the Tampa area. We love escape rooms (Ive done just shy of 400) and the games here were top notch. We played Shadows of the Skunk Ape and Alices Tee Time. Both were incredibly unique experiences and Im looking forward to the next time we pass through town so we can try Skunk Ape part 2. We did the Shadows of the skunk ape escape room, and loved it! We have done about 10 different escape rooms overall, and this was the best one in Tampa by far, and maybe as good as the “best” ones we’ve done in Chicago and DC. The host was so great, and accommodating considering 2/3 our group was 10 year old boys. The puzzles were great and sets amazing. I highly recommend! All the boys wanted to do another escape room the next day. This experience set the bar really high.

This was our first escape room and were so glad it happened here! We did the Skunk Ape Pt 1 with our group of four, and were placed with another group of three. The storytelling in the game was great, complementing the decor and theme of the rooms. There were a number of different types of challenges and puzzles, with a recurring theme of different types of locks. The puzzles were easy enough to keep moving along but still challenging. Towards the end our group needed some clues and our game host gently nudged us with help. We missed the time by about a minute but still had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back to do part 2!!!

I can not recommend this place enough. My son and I just did part one “the secrets of the Skunk Ape” and thoroughly enjoyed it. It took us 59.49 to do it, but that’s just fine with us. I won’t give away any details that might be spoilers but trust me when I say the room was very well done is every aspect. Decorations great. Clues great. Help great. Many novel and unique things that we are still gushing over. My son and I do escape rooms pretty regularly and this is our favorite now. We will come back for part 2 once it’s ready in a couple of weeks. Well done!!!

One of the top escape rooms in the area! Ive now done both rooms (escaped one, failed the other) and enjoyed both. The connecting story of the skunk ape for both rooms is great and definitely sets the mood for the story. Both rooms are a good balance of basic locks and other puzzles. The staff is great as well, they clearly really enjoy their jobs and that helps to add to the experience!Im so excited for the alice tee time room and cant wait for it to open. Ill definitely be there asap after it does.

This was so much fun! The kids at Real Life enjoyed the process of problem-solving and riddles to work our way through to get out. Its a great team-building exercise, and we would all highly recommend it!! We went back in February, before the COVID pandemic. We hope to go again when this is all over- perhaps next semester!

I have now played Alice and both skunk ape games and all 3 are amazing! Great puzzles, nice mixture. Something for everyone!

This is the second year in a row that we have used Rabbit Hole for our team-building event. I cannot recommend the Rabbit Hole team and their offerings enough. Last year we did an escape room and this year we did a Scavenger Hunt (which had a spy/secret-mission theme). Amy and her team knocked both events out of the park. They were highly communicative throughout our planning process and a plain delight to interact with on the day. The scavenger hunt this year was particularly fun as our team members were able to better acquaint themselves with the area around the River Walk and many are planning on returning to some of the trendy restaurants and cool shops we visited along the way. The puzzles themselves were fun to collaborate on and I look forward to returning in the future to try out the special hunt they have for families. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

Really great and a good and hard challenge took us at last minute

By far the best escape room weve ever done. The building itself was clean and easy to get to. Plenty of parking. The story was terrific and the rooms were very well done. Definitely going back for the other rooms/stories. Great experience for the family.

This is easily the best escape room in town that Ive done. Super fun and great puzzles, amazing production value and a real fluidity to each piece of each room. The mini golf piece is very cool, too.

Rabbit Hole Escape is truly a gem in the Tampa area. I have played all three games they offer and they are truly all amazing. Alice’s Tee Time is a fun and unique experience that I have never done before as it combines the escape room elements along with actual mini golfing which is super cool. I love the connecting story line of Skunk Ape. We played part 1 first and then part 2 as soon as we finished part 1. I will say though that part 1 is a lot more doable for two people than Skunk Ape part 2 because it was just a tad easier than the other one, but they are both amazing so do them! The employees who work here are amazing, thank you Alyssa for putting up with us during the part 2! I can’t wait to come back here soon to play more games! 10/10 in my book so definitely come and play!

Alyssa did an excellent job game mastering for us. I am an escape room addict and I definitely enjoyed this place. The decor was really well done and feels like an immersive experience. There were a bunch of locks, which isnt my favorite, but really pretty cool overall. I wish the 2nd room had been fixed so we could have played it as well.

The theme was great!

Our flight from Tampa to JFK was cancelled. I wanted to play indoor Mini golf and do an escape room. We had all day arriving from our Cruise onto land at 9:30 am. I found Rabbit Hole Escape games offered a variety of games... escape rooms and a mini golf newly opened on the Alice In Wonderland theme! Some of the 9 holes you would put first them solve a puzzle to get to the next hole; others, you had to solve the puzzle before mechanical movement around you would occur to expose the hole so you could putt! It was SUCH a fun experience! One whole malfunctioned; I told the voice behind the camera that was watching and she came in and agreed and helped us move forward as she saw we had figured it out and so she said would file a report that the whole mechanism needed internal repair (hole 4). They also offered outdoor scavenger hunts and the traditional escape rooms. This mini gold though was AMAZING!!!! I highly recommend it if you enjoy mini gold and escape style puzzles.

Skunk Ape is my favorite room so far in Central Florida going on 15 rooms and counting so far still have a lot to try. Full immersion decor and great use of technology to allow you to interact with the environment instead of just codes/keys. Thanks Andy for still showing up even though I found a bug to book during off hours on accident had a great time will be back for the other rooms.

We had a great time at the Shadows game! It was a well thought out game. Very detailed and the rooms were wonderfully decorated to go along with the theme. Definitely recommend!!

We had an absolutely phenomenal experience. We want to go back and play the second part of the story!

We had a great time with Secrets of the Skunk Ape. It was a unique setting with lots of fun details in the rooms, some local Florida cryptid flavor, and a nice range of puzzles: some simple, some complex, some very physical, others more abstract and game-like. We didnt escape in time (there were only two of us) but since nobody was booked right after us, our hosts invited us to puzzle through the final room at our own speed. Really nice people and a very positive experience.

We did the virtual escape game. Not worth the money. We finished in 30 minutes. It was fun and going well, then all of a sudden we got to the end and it was over. It was a let down and left us all disappointed. Too expensive for what you get. Clever idea though. I wish it had been longer.

Alices Tee Time is an absolute work of art, and a true immersive experience! We squealed with glee each time a new surprise was revealed throughout the miniature golf course. Cassie was also so kind and accommodating, even when we discovered we had shown up on the wrong night. We traveled all the way from Dallas to complete Alices Tee Time and it did not disappoint. Awesome experience and awesome staff/owners! Looking forward to visiting Rabbit Hole to do the other rooms on our next trip to Tampa.

We had my sons 10th birthday party at Rabbit Hole Escape Games and the kids all had a BLAST! They thought that the escape room was so fun and the party room was perfect. Thank you for a great time!

Completed Shadow of the Skunk Ape room with a few minutes to spare! Really fun room with entertaining theming and friendly hostess. Weve done a lot of escape rooms and I definitely recommend this one!

Fun! Multi-room escape game with its own story. Find clues and solve puzzles to unlock doors and get to the next area. Great for groups but can get chaotic if your group is too large or doesnt communicate together well, so be prepared. But still fun! Couple of different rooms to choose from with another on the way. Price per person isnt too bad .

Great escape rooms! Not intended to be scary, but there are clues that pop out from unexpected places that may or may not have caused our group to scream... I will definitely be visiting again to complete their other rooms!

Went here just the other day and I was very impressed with the room that we did. The theme and attention to detail was phenomenal. There were a lot of puzzles that I have never seen before which made it both fun and challenging. I cant wait to go back and try the second room and also the outdoor escapes that they have.

Update....Now its December 2019 and we just did their part one skunk Ape and I have to say we loved it..we are defenetly coming back for their other games....if you visit you will no regret it..Would rate later after game has been performed!

This was my first time visiting an escape room and I wasnt really sure what our group would experience but Amy was a great guide and really helped explain what to expect.While some of the puzzles were challenging we had such a fun time and there were so many little details and we all loved the story line. This escape room is amazing and is by far the best Ive played. The room for the skunk ape part 1 is more like a professional (and interactive) set for a movie/play than your out of the box typically escape room! The room is ingenious with fun and unique puzzles that everyone loved. Everything was designed by the owners themselves and they have done an amazing job. You will get lost in an immersive world and forget you are even playing an escape room. They only do private groups, so you know their focus is on customer satisfaction, not profits. The woman who ran our room was friendly and fun. Even though we live over 7 hours away, we are already planning a trip back to Tampa so we can do the second room when it opens. We can’t wait!

Amazing room. All games are private so you can tell the focus is on quality and not profit. We have done 26 escape rooms and this is #1 or 2. Completely immersive, great staff, fun puzzles and plenty to do. I think we said, that was awesome! ten times. I cant wait for the next room to open.

Unique, fun experience with friendly, helpful staff!

Was WAY more fun than I thought it would be. It was my first time going to an escape room, and it did not disappoint. A lot more intricate than we had imagined when we walked into the first room. If you love puzzles, and want to bond a little bit with family or fellow employees, this is a fantastic idea.

This is the best of a dozen escape rooms weve done in Tampa, Orlando, Cincinnati, and China. Very immersive and inventive. Clearly not a franchised game (thankfully) and it shows in the quality and creativity employed in the props and environment of the rooms. Well definitely be back for chapter 2 of the SkunkApe series!

My girlfriend took me here yesterday as a surprise for my birthday. I wasnt sure what to expect but have always wanted to try an escape room. This place definitely exceeded my expectations and I cant wait to go back! The props were amazing and the fact that you get to go to different rooms was very exciting!

There were 5 of us ages 16 to 69 and we had an absolute blast. Chris our coordinator was AMAZING! This was the first time for all of us and we had NO clue what we were in for but with Chriss help and guidance we nearly escaped. I would highly recommend this fun,very creative and an extremely suspenseful Escape room! The Rabbit Hole Escape game found a way to keep the game clean not scarey but very exciting.

This escape room is so unique and a perfect destination on a rainy Florida afternoon. The room kept the adults and kids in our group excited from the minute we walked in. In the words of an 11-year-old who didnt ask for her phone once during the visit, I give it 5 stars. Cant wait to see what new rooms they dream up!

My husband and I have done over 50 puzzle rooms, so were quite persnickety when it comes to a good gaming experience. We had some time to kill since our flight home out of Tampa was delayed, and the owner was kind enough to graciously host us before opening hours. Its clear that she has a passion for excellent puzzle rooms, not just looking for a quick buck by this fad. We played the Shadows of the Skunk Ape game. It was absolutely fantastic!!! We loved the perfect mix of classic lock-and-key puzzles, technology, and mechanical engineering throughout the game. The rooms were beautifully decorated, it was incredibly immersive. The room is meant for a larger group, but my husband and I got out within the last minute! It was an absolute blast and next time were in the Tampa area we will come back for the second game. If youre thinking about doing this, just do it!

Weve played a ton of escape rooms and Rabbit Hole was great. Easily one the the best games in the Tampa area. Challenging but a lot of fun.

I was skeptical because Ive driven by a few times, and its not the best area. But this was the most amazing experience!! It was my first escape room, and Im definitely hooked!!! I would recommend this place to anyone the owner was so sweet and helpful! I will definitely be going back!!!!!

Played the Shadows of the Skunk Ape with a group of six friends! The employees were nice/informative, puzzles challenging but not impossible, and the rooms were well decorated. Would strongly recommend having this be your first escape room experience!

Did this as a group of two and had a fun time with this Escape Room even though we didnt quite get out in time. Would definitely recommend this for new and veteran escape room players. Definitely bring your A-Game because youre in for a good challenge.

This place was a blast! We had such a great time and the challenge really got us to work together (without killing each other) and resolve the puzzle! Anyone looking for a fun time go to the rabbit hole! Will go again!

For my first escape room experience, I had no idea what to expect. Boy, was I surprised (in a good way)! The owners were super friendly, professional, and helpful. Although my team needed a lot of assistance, we managed to work together, have a great time, and almost escape in time :) I think I just found a great local activity for friends that is challenging, rewarding, and fun! Had an incredible time here in April 2018. Everyone in our 6 person team had an absolute blast, and we can’t wait to come back for part II! The only “bad” thing I can think of is that they don’t have more games to solve! :)

I am so sorry for not posting this sooner....My wife and I took our niece and nephew here when they were down on vacation from Colorado this last summer.....We had a great time and the puzzles were fun and engaging. The owner (Im sorry I forgot your name) was awesome at prepping us.I had never done an escape game/room before, but the experience was unique and if you find your self looking for something new and fun to do, then by all means put this on your list!

Loved, Loved, Loved it. Try to bring big group. The more brains the easier. We had a blast. This is the best escape room out there. The set up was awesome. Real cool props. If we lived here we would go back for sure.

We did their Bermuda Triangle game, and it was a great experience! Ive done an escape room from a different company, and it was fun. But the Rabbit Hole experience was substantially better. We will probably go back at some point to do their space-themed room.

My first experience with an escape room, and unlikely to be my last. Thoroughly enjoyed completing this with other friends and was challenged but never frustrated. The owners are top notch and extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommended to anyone looking for something fun and different to do in the area!

Completed both rooms here; the atmosphere of the rooms is great and you can tell the owners wanted the rooms to be more creative than the other locations in Tampa. Some of the puzzles are a bit too time consuming/ illogical BUT the staff does a good job with unlimited clues to help through that.

My first escape game, and it was a whole lot of fun! We had a group of 6 adults and some of the spaces were a bit small, but we had a great time making our escape.

They go all out with their room. very detail oriented, puzzles are very involved. Great thing to do with a group of friends on a Saturday!
