She had a short video of about three minutes to watch and a short lecture on what the hand signals meant in regards to body movement and placement when entering and exiting the tunnel for maximum height potential and of course for Safety. Matthew Freese who was her instructor was very informative and helpful and spoke in a way that the younger children could understand.

Loved it. It was my first time. My instructor was awesome. Me being from South Carolina, I was so thrilled that I searched for an I-Fly in my in my state. Found one in nearby Charlotte, NC. I will definitely be visiting another one soon. I highly recommend it.

Interesting and fun. Even the double time of two minutes is very quick. Most staff are friendly and polite. Luck of the draw our “instructor”, Anthony, was not, actually rather rude. Tried to call for two days to redeem the “special” pricing discount and couldn’t be redeemed at the general number and was never put through or called back by the Tampa location. Finally gave up. Too many other things to do in the area that are far less expensive.

Needed a place to get on wifi for an uber driver and didnt even get to say my piece before I got turned away for not having a mask. Good to know compassion doesnt exist in a world where pandemics happen and people cant pay bills!

My boy and his 2 friends had fun on his birthday visit. They all said it was a great experience.However, I was asked twice at sign-ins if I wanted to pay $15 extra to have the boys float high up the cylinder. I declined the offer.During the flight, the instructor pointed his finger up, which the boys were instructed meant raise your chin. Instead the instructor was asking the teens if they wanted to float high. By raising their chins, I suppose the instructor interpreted that head movement as consent. The boys got to soar high.After the session, and after I tipped the instructor, I was told I owe $15 per teen plus tax for soaring high. I explained that I declined the offer at check-in.As I was explaining that I clearly declined the offer, one of the teens paid to avoid a scene.I objected but was only offered an apology for the miscommunications.Be aware of this up-sale tactic. I cant believe I am the only one who has been confused, as the instructor indicated I was.

One of the most thrilling activities money can buy. It’s not cheap, but it shouldn’t be: you’re flying! The instructions are knowledgeable and make you feel comfortable with the crazy activity you’re about to embark on. The flying itself is incredible, and goes by accordingly quickly. You will definitely want to come back for more!

Update - 5 to 3 stars.First our daughter has come here four times and has always been happy. Unfortunately we scheduled a flight today a few weeks ago for christmass. We called to confirm yesterday and were told all was g2g. Today we arrived any they had no record of anything. When we provided them with the email confirmation they said they could squeeze her in, but not with the teacher she has trained with on four previous occasions. Daughter not interested and we left... hopefully whatever happened gets solved and we can enjoy next time.Who thought a vertical wind tunnel could be so much fun? You couldnt find a better group of professionals to teach flying. They did a great job putting my 9 year old at ease and now shes hooked! Worth the cost.

Absolutely awesome experience! All of the staff was high energy and positive. Chelsea our flight team instructor was great. We really appreciated her patience and professionalism. One of our participants is afraid of heights and this was a positive experience for her.

My family loved it. Its pretty pricey but work the every penny.

We took our 7 yr old daughter here a few days ago and the experience was terrific. If anyone is concerned about their little one, rest assured that they will be fine. Our daughter is 48 & 50 lbs.The staff was fun AND attentive to every detail. Try it out and you wont be disappointed.

I had a great time at iFly. The instructor was very knowledgeable and gave us great pointers to have a successful flight. I was a little upset after I paid extra for the picture and video package and realized you only get ONE picture and ONE video of the multiple pictures and videos taken. It seemed greedy to me and like a total cash grab. Considering the high cost of the activity/package the least they could do is give you that extra minute of footage so you can look back on your entire experience not just half. -_-

We enjoyed the overall experience but we found a staff member named Katherine to be quite sassy. Her attitude towards an adult was disrespectful which ruined our time at iFly. It is pricey but the activity is enjoyable. If I were to come again I’d expect better customer service and nicer staff.

Our first visit was a team building event, the second was to take family with us who were in town for the holidays. Nice combination for all ages and abilities with a trip to Ifly then next door so the golfers could have fun too. Be aware that this is a physically demanding activity- as they tell you ahead of time. A minutes is 60 seconds of pure action! Fun. Could be addictive if it was closer for us!!

Birthday gift from my 11 year old. She loved it! The sessions are shorter than we thought they would be. Seemed to be pretty organized but we did fly about 30 mins after her scheduled flight time. I would still recommend it anyone who wants an adventure! She cant wait to go again!

If you ever dreamed about sky diving and want to feel safe this is a must visit place! The architectural layout of this facility is superb and they keep the equipment clean and the facility is mint overall including the restrooms, the staff is super friendly and the management a notch above, best part is you can be as young as 4 years old and immerse in this one of a kind experience, tell the manager I sent you and bring the whole family, coworkers and friends! Convenient to get to from US 301 or i75 parking always available and easy to get in and out.

Seriously fun and entertaining. Online reservation system is tricky when making multiple reservations with multiple codes. But calling would always be recommended with that I suppose. We had two purchased codes and only one of them went through, so next time well call to confirm.

Our family had fun here! My husband, my son (7 1/2) and daughter (5) flew-they had a blast. They loved it so much-we will be back for sure. My husband and son went high-flying. Anthony was great with my kids-he knew how to interact with them. We bought the special package to come back and fly again. If youre looking for something different to do, this is definitely the place to go!

My mom was visiting from Michigan and she insisited on going here. My mom, my husband and I went on a Thursday at 11:30am and were the only ones there. We watched a short instructional film on safety. Our instructor was awesome! He made sure we understood everything and he was really funny. We each got to go twice and we all payed extra to go up higher. It was AMAZING!!! We all had so much fun!!!! We cant wait to go again and try some new moves. It was a little pricey, but the more you go, the cheaper it ends up being. They dont let you bring in your phone or camera. But they offer a package where you get pics and videos of the experience. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have fun doing something new/different. Everything was clean and very well maintained. The staff was super nice and helpful. Next time we might try the virtual reality and really feel like were skydiving.

This was my first time flying and it was a blast! The front desk staff were super nice and Brad was an awesome instructor! Like anything, the time just seems so short lol Will definitely be back with family :)

I really want to say that I loved it but because of the small amount of time that you actually get to spend in the device and high cost to do what amounts to very little more time and never really get to learn without having to spend upwards of thousands of dollars this is really expensive. For me to go back they would be having to run some crazy deals and for me to recommend it because I like to do things over and over again and this would never be able to be one of those because of the cost their cost would have to come way down. Im also guessing that theyre customer retention and repeat business is close to 10% again because of their prices those deals that you find in the supermarkets or the warehouse clubs are not as great a deal or experience as you may think

I was nervous at first however the experience was fun for my very first time. Its literally a gust of wind blowing up at you. The instructor is super nice and explains everything well. Shout out to Ben! Highly recommended.

Some friends took me there for birthday celebration. We had a fabulous time. The instructors were great and made sure we all knew what to do and not do. I will never forget this great indoor sky dive and want to do it again even though it is a bit expensive

It was an amazing experience for my 8 year old. He enjoyed it a lot. One issue which we experienced is that the video has an jncompatible audio for ios devices, so you have to spend some extra time to convert the audio. That should be an easy fix for iFly to save this trouble for the customers.Overall it was a nice and short adventurous activity.

This place was wonderful. The instructor was awesome. The people at the from desk was great. The experience was amazing for both myself and my 10 year old. Take a date, take a family member, or go alone and have the time of your life.

Loved it, loved it, loved it!!! I have found my passion. Today was my first. I thoroughly enjoyed it. My Instructor was very helpful, supportive, and encouraging. I cant say enough good things about this experience!!!

Knowledgeable staff! Super clean when we were there! They obviously love what they do because they are all just the happiest crew! My daughters favorite piece of advice from her guide was when we get into the tube, dont tell me you cant breathe, because your in a room with a larger fan blowing lots of air at you - just breathe :) she said his laughter was contagious and made everyone less nervous. I could see her laughing and smiling the entire flight. He even made sure we found each other so we could wave at each other- I will never forget that!! Even when Im old someday! I dont know what her flight guides name was but he has a pretty amazing resume including military experience and medalling in skydiving? Im not sure but he really knew how to teach the whole group -From children to adults - to fly; I would say they were in very capable hands. Fun day and hope to go back again soon!

It was awesome, but I got played on my time. I payed to fly 2 minutes, but the timer started at 1 minute. I didnt cause a scene because I didnt have a way to back up my statement but I know what I saw.

IFLY is such a great place. for my birthday i came here and it was a wonderful experience thanks to the great staff and me flying! this was such a great place that we even brought my 87 year old grandma to fly! it let her do something she never knew she wanted to do. and the thing that i love most is that u can fly here anywhere from 3 years old, to 103 years old! isnt that crazy....

This place is so awesome! Ive been skydiving before but it is nothing like it. You are definitely sore the next day. This is family fun! You do go through a quick instructional video and learn hand signals before you go in. You wear a suit (these are quite large) and goggles. Our group went two times total. The first run you get the hang of how it feels and the second run you get to go higher, which was so cool! They do have video and photos available for download. It is really cool to watch. The instructors were so chill and the rest of the staff was very friendly. There is a weight limit so make sure to check their website if you need more info.

Very fun indoor skydiving experience. I wasn’t nervous or afraid my first time but also wasn’t sure what to expect. My sister who’s afraid of heights actually purchased more flights after this visit and that goes to show that it’s fun and great introduction to others who stay away from fearful height situations.For me, it motivated me to do the real thing! The instructors are thorough and friendly which is great because you spend all the tine with the mom in the air tube following their instructions.I recommend you give this a try, this will either prepare you for jumping out of a plane or will be a substitute for those who never plan to go that far.

This is on my bucket list! I took a group of girl Scouts here and watched...WOW!! After their session the person who helped them fly did some really cool flying! Definitely worth getting out of your comfort zone. Time to fly!!

I took my 12 and 13 y.o. boys there last week and I tried flying also. This was my second time so I was an expert, right? Anyway the woman helping us in the wind tunnel was excellent. I think it was Chelsea that was patient and extremely good at instructions. She did a little demo at the end that made me want to try it again.

Wish we would have known about the special prices for flight packages after your session since you have to purchase the same day to get those rates but no matter what the experience was awesome!! It was a cool experience. Our instructor was great. Very friendly and informative. But it is VERY pricey. It cost my family of 4 over $250 for 10 minutes of flying time. 10 minutes total... Not per person. The cost made me want to give it 3 stars, but since the instructor was so good and the facility so cool, I give it 4 stars.

IFLY was an awesome experience. We had Josh for our instructor and he was great. They offered a discount package for the next time and we purchased it. We are definitely going back! Try it!

I took 4 kids there for Christmas yesterday. But that is not where this review starts. I purchased 2 coupons at Costco and called in to redeem them on Monday. I spoke with Kylie and let me say she is amazing. I am in customer service and she went above and beyond. She helped me navigate what I bought and what I wanted and then some. When I got off the phone I had 3 kids booked. She asked me to call back with the vouchers and I did, she made it painless to get credit for them. I was happy at that point, then decided to add a 4th child, so I call her again. She once again delivered exceptional service and even sent me a nice email with all the transactions. We arrived Sunday and Chris Frayer was the instructor. This was our second time at I-Fly, its been over a year because the first one was an ok experience and my daughter would not do it. Thats when Chris took over, he made all the kids calm and relaxed and they felt safe. The first video shows my daughter holding on tight, and Chris helped her become comfortable. Thanks to him and Kylie I purchased more Flight time and will begin to take the kids more regularly. Sorry for the long review, but I felt they deserved it. They took the time to make our experience memorable!!
