We absolutely loved the Ghost tour ! It was so interesting and eerie. We were told that if you look into the window of the Whaley House ( most haunted home in San Diego ) and took 3 pictures that when you get home you will see Mr. Whaley looking back at you. Its true, we saw just a window until we got home and I showed my Dad the pictures. There he was looking at us !!!!
Lots of cool art and shops. Free. Open picnic areas
Informative but misleading. walked around and heard stories of dead ppl but no real scary moments or potential for
Bummed out we didnt make it to the tour or seal watching. First time here and I LOVE IT. LOVE HISTORY SO HAD ME WONDERING & THINKING will DEFINITELY come back.
Really cool and fun place for friends.

Fun tour. One of the guides could have taken better care about not whipping us around in the bus though. Otherwise was a pretty fun experience.
I thought the tour was very informative! Dr. U did a great job explaining the history of Old Town SD.
This was literally the best tour ever! We went last night with Maurty, and he made it AMAZING! Lots of detail and history! We cant stop talking about it! Thank you for a memorable experience!!!!
If I can rate leas than 1 star I would. This is a waste of your time and money. (Ghost and Gravestone) are a scam!!! The driver was cool, but save your money and time. They take you to a cemetery down the street, that’s is free to the public, you can walk on your own, followed by a trolley ride to the mission hills neighborhood into a park and that completes your tour, nothing to be scared of. Save your money and go to a museum instead.! Oh and we never made it to the house that everybody talks about in the comments. So disappointed !!
This tour was completely boring. There was nothing interesting and for 40 dollars this was so not worth it. There were obvious incidents of rushing and not completely having the full experience. There also wasn’t all real old historic things, some things looked obviously redone.... some of it was talked about to fast and didn’t make sense. The tour guide made it more about himself. My 2 cousins and I did not enjoy it, and I expectations were not met.
My sister and I had a great time on this interesting tour through beautiful San Diego at night.
*OWNER SHOULD READ THIS*I was very excited to go on this tour, I called at 5:30 to see if they had any last minute tickets as it was a last minute recourse after we noticed it was too cold and grey to go to the beach. I talked to a very nice woman heather who told me they did have openings and I was excited. I said Id call back in a few minutes after talking things over with my better half. I called back a half hour later and asked for heather as she told me to do before we disconnected. The man told me heather had gone home already, it was 6 so I figured ok.I asked him if the tour was still open he informed me it was. This is where it get it gets bad. I asked him if there was any difference between the ticket price and the price if I bought it in person. Im guessing hes working on commission because the next words out of his mouth wasTheres only 10 spots left, good chance theyll be taken but do whatever you want. You could hear the attitude in his voice, it was dripping. Trying to intimidate me almost always means you will not get my business, exactly what he tried to do. I hung up pretty much immediately and drove to old town and got there by 6:45. I was told to be there at 7 to start. I found the tour within about 3 minutes and I figured ok still ten minutes to get my ticket. I walked up to ask where to buy as I did they left. They took off ten minutes early from the start time which left me unable to buy a ticket because I refused to buy from a guy who was tried to intimidate me. I ended up just doing a self tour and calling it a day, I highly suggest reviewing your sales team and enforce start times because that is no way to do business.
The tour was awesome. Our guide was legit. I think his name was Marty the Mortician. Very knowledgeable, and engaging. The sites they take you to are pretty cool. Very fun tour and definitely worth the money. Also Old Town has a nice set up. It makes for a nice setting.
Chris Stevens I saw a ghost in one of your picture you uploaded here. The 4th one lol
Fun thing to do when out and about
I went on a road trip in the summer we went on the ghost tour it was amazing.. Great tour guide and best tour.. Loved everything about it.. Went to a park cemetery and we also went inside a house very spooky I even got to see orbs on my pictures in in cemetery amazing
I was skeptical at first, but this turned out to be a very fun and educational tour! No one is jumping out of bushes and trying to scare you like I thought! It takes you to some very historic spots of SD and explains their haunted history! We have multiple pictures that are covered in orbs! Go with an open mind =)
Fun little tour with nice host. Fun for even a non beliverbe.
Its a tour of the Waley house and other locations its not that fun
The tour guide was morbidly ecstatic in informing the tourists on the history of Old Town San Diego. The tram experience was ghoulishly fascinating. Now, the Whaley House tour was historically informing and the ambiance was just the right amount of creepy. Make sure to take lots of pictures, for you are sure to catch something supernatural. Definitely would attend again :)
Well presentation plus history lesson.
It was great weather was cold the house was awesome
AWESOME. Great insight to some of the history of San Diego..
First of all... We wanted Whaley house on our tour, but it wasnt offered on the web signup. I called the office and spoke to Steve....we seemed to remember each other from some other tour two years ago....thanks Steve. Anyway...Steve added the Whaley house tour to our Tuesday tour, thank you! And creepy things did happen...great tour. We did get creepy pictures... Will post soon. And not orbs b/c of plexiglass flashback....The Professor was a delight and full of information and creepy facts. Excellent guide. And this ghoul host even drove us back to our haunted hotel. Just being nice at 11:30 at night. Thank you Professor and Old Town Trolleys...highly recommend. Also recommend La Jolla trip and Deb, fun tour and she also made sure we got back to our hotels. And you gotta love an establishment where Steve the scheduler will add an extra tour not offered on Tuesday AND says he remembers me from a year or two ago phone call. A Fact or fiction? My personality says he remembers me.Highly recommend Old Town Trolleys....first do the hop off hop on a two day...youll go everywhere downtown, old town, little Italy, balboa park, CoronadoHighly recommend beach tour....La Jolla, sea lions, Sunny Jims Cave thru a GIFT SHOP, steep, damp and piracy, be prepared, MT Soledad memorial History (bring eyes wiping device) and......great food.
Went thru the tour in 2007. Would have liked to go inside two homes that were closed. One was not safe for tours and the Whaley house closed before dark, it was dark when we arrived.
Very well told tour and good history involved.listen and take pictures, take pictures, take pictures.do leave picture cool tour
