This park is just awesome. You can see San Diego Bay. You can see the aircraft taking off from NAS North Island. All the boat and ship traffic. I even flew my quadcopter while I was there. Despite all the traffic buzzing around you, its a very relaxing place.

Love this place great view across the water of the city of San Diego. There is a beach area, bathrooms and a bunch of nice 2 story hotels with balconies across the street. I grab my Better Buzz coffee and my acai bowl and sit on the rocks for a great beginning to my day.

There is a beautiful walk way with lots of grassy picnic areas with picnic tables. Good shady benches to sit on with a trellis. You get a beautiful view of San Diego. You can fish on the pier without a fishing permit or license. They have public restrooms, but the toilets have no doors. If youre doing your business, people can easily walk by and see you.

This place has been going off!!! I have caught at least 15 Corvina in the last few mornings. It’s a little tricky walking down the rocks here. It’s steep and the rocks are small. Face west and you should have a good chance catching one. Be careful because they are delicate. In the pic you can see the jaw was mangled from our fierce battle. Good luck

If youre looking to get your fish on... heres your starting point. Plenty of parking, clean facilities and some local nightlife nearby before your morning launch (if you favor that). Smooth launch and retrieval with sheltered tieups before heading out and getting back on the trailer. Best place to get out to the deep blue from.

I love this little beach it has two bone fire pits. Its nice for a family gathering. Just need to get there early the beach is only like fifty yards long if that. Theres a grass area above the beach to hangout an post up then make your way to the water. This place is rite next door to the Point Loma Launch Ramp it is very busy with private boats coming an going especially when its the Tuna season. There are restrooms there an there is a pier for fishing just a little north of the beach. Enjoy an always pick up after your self

Nice place to hang out. Took a canopy and chairs. The breeze off the bat kept us cool. Bathrooms were so so, smelly. You can also have a bonfire at the small beach by the boat ramp.

The boat launch is excellent! The restrooms are hit & miss with supplies and cleanliness. Be aware that parking spots marked for vehicles with boat trailers is enforced. Saw someone get a $52 ticket for parking in the wrong spot.

Such a beautiful place!! Clean and amazing st night. Bonfires, nice people. Kids roaming around with their parents at night. Im from LA so the beaches over here, are nothing like this. I love this place, met a cute seal at the marina and stuck around waiting for boats... definitely worth the visit, with your significant other, just watching the waves and boats coming in and leaving... romantic!!! Romance city!

The Park is excellent to watch the forth of July fireworks in San Diego. We saw four main fireworks and two far fireworks. We took Uber from Best Western hotel in the Shoreline Park 2 hours before the fireworks. The Park was almost full. We sat by the restaurant. We walked back to our hotel in 20 minutes.

Have you ever gone to a place and said this is the life? For my wife and I this is the place we can do that. Weve lived in San Diego over 50 years, and have never been bored going to Shoreline Park. From Shoreline park you can see Downtown, the Coronado Bridge, North Island, the Aircraft Carriers, Point Loma, sailboats, motorboats, I can go on. Our favorite thing to do is get breakfast, some coffee and walk along the shore, and sometimes sit and watch. For us this is San Diego.

A pretty small part but a good walk after dinner at a local restaurant. There are a lot of people parked for fishing or with large vehicles near the waterfront so you might need to go around those if walking around. Just stick to the grassy parts.
