Beautiful day to go to Sea World San Diego. There wasnt a huge crowd, so getting seats to all of the attractions was relatively easy. It was disappointing that so many of the attractions seemed to be altered to a shorter and less active show as I have seen in the past. The food and beverage locations were limited to selections and many were just closed. They did a great job social distancing. The stadiums were marked off and ambassadors were letting people out in an orderly manner after the shows. All in all still way better than sitting at home.

Gets very busy on weekends and parking gets completely filled by noon, but during the week. The earlier you go on weekdays, the less people you will encounter. I prefer to go before 8am and theres basically no one there. Lots of traffic noise from the 5, which is RIGHT there, so its hard to really tune into the nature sounds. Other than that, its a great place to do just about anything. Jet ski, kayak, SUP, swim, boat, bring your dogs, bring your horses to fiesta Island which shares the same water, bring your kids and neighbors... you can do it all here. Also some options for rentals for all the fun stuff. There are larger areas with party and BBQ areas and buildings for bathrooms. A very popular place to watch SeaWorld fireworks too.

We did a chartered deep sea fishing trip out of this port. Headed to the Mexican waters that were four hours away. It was way too long to get there. Not many fish when we did get there. The port also had other deep sea fishing options besides chartered. They all looked like a good option.

I had my wedding ceremony here. And no, it wasnt a stoned-out event centered around a drum circle... We had it in Shakespeare Garden, which is absolutely lovely and green in the summertime. The low-slung misty clouds of July sauntered by above. It was peaceful and beautiful, and made for awesome pictures.

This park hosts the Sea World of San Diego. It is one of the best amusement park based on Sea animals and roller coasters. It has good animal based shows like Sea Lion show, Killer Whale show and Dolphin show. The dolphin show is awesome and breathtaking. It also has animals kept for just watching. The animals are well trained and well behaved. So it is easy to interact with them.It also some of the best roller coaster rides like Electric Eel, Manta etc. You can enjoy with your family, as everyone has attraction according to their taste.I have thoroughly enjoyed the park.

I loved walking through the park! It was nicely shaded and so much to do! It was very nice to sit by stow lake and absorb some sun, then explore all over. Be prepared to walk though. It seems like with a car it can be a hassle. Wish I lived closer, I would be there ALL the time.

We took the kids here while on vacation.Positives:- Calm, warm water- Nice bbq area- Easy beach access- Nice playground area- Larger trees for shadeNegatives:- There was so much trash, that we actually spent the first and last 30 minutes of our visit collecting and throwing away trash. Be responsible and take care of your parks and beaches. Dont leave trash everywhere and ruin it for others.

SeaWorld. The park itself was way-cool and had lots of interesting sea-life to check out. Theres plenty of cool little activities for little ones a well. My 5-y/o got to feed some Bat Rays (3 little fish for $9 - kinda pricey) but boy she was happy about it! The education piece is really neat and worth the trip.Unfortunately for us a lot of the rides were out if service so we couldnt do a lot of what we wanted to. Plus, be sure to check the height requirements if you have little ones. 48 is where you want to be but 46 will get you on a lot of the rides. The Electric Eel was completely awesome!! Rather short :-( but awesome! The best ride, hands down, was the Atlantis ride. Longer than the other rides with lots of turns, drops, and water. That said, theres quite a strong impression theyre trying to mimic Disney. Theyre way off but I appreciate the effort, it makes for a memorable family experience.Regrets? I bought the 7-day pass thinking Id use 2 1/2 days of it. We killed the park in about 6 hours, the entire thing. If we do this again Ill do a one-day

Great day on the water for paddle boarding, kayaking, sailing, and swimming. Make sure you scope out the different coves based on what you want to do. There are a lot of jet skis. Fiesta Island is great with small kids, you can drive right out on the beach, so set up and pack up is super easy. On Fiesta Island, the first beach before the Aquadic Center is the best for paddling and swimming as there are no motor boats or jet skis allowed. The beach on Fiesta Island isnt sandy, its really fine dirt. All in all a great day in the sun!

I always have a great time doing the various things Mission Bay has to offer. I often visit the great resorts where the hospitality is usually %. Our views around the bay are always fabulous. The bay get a little crazy on holiday weekends or summer including the resorts and restaurants and attractions. The parking can become a little frustrating so, bring your patience on busy days.If you don’t like traffic and crowds come in the off-season after summer break. We still have great weather. The winter season is sometimes a little rainy or breezy but, often we have plenty of nice sunny days as well. I enjoy the cooler weather. The 80-90-100 degree summers are not my favorite.I always enjoy our bay even with the crowds.Check out Mission Bay and San Diego Bay you won’t be disappointed....enjoy!!!

A friend & I met here on Labor Day to walk for exercise. We met at 6:15 P.M., as there was a heat wave. Parks had reopened in San Diego, so there were still a lot of people celebrating, but many had left. Good parking. This day was mostly cloudy, so temp was perfect.People were following COVID guidelines pretty well. But Id read an article in the Sunday Union Tribune telling of park rangers & security staff having a difficult time monitoring for COVID, as many visitors were uncooperative. The sidewalk was pretty clear for walk from start to turnaround, but was crowded with exiters, bikes on the return to finish. We completed 3 miles! It was a beautiful walk, and well return!
