Enjoyed walking after work. Really reduces my stress level. Not crowded very relaxing

Sunset Point Park is on Mission Bay next to The Dana Hotel and SeaWorld San Diego. We visited this place on May 25, 2018, during our first San Diego trip. It’s a nice and relaxing place. There is a sandy shoreline here complete with fire pits for evening bonfires, but the sand and water are separated by a protective rock wall. This makes Sunset Point better for picnics and taking a walk instead of swimming and playing in the bay. There are picnic tables, fire rings, restrooms and a path for jogging or bike riding. Food is allowed on site but no glass containers. Alcohol is not permitted. Be sure to arrive very early on summer weekends as the parking lots tend to fill up quickly.

Peaceful! Loved the views. You can really get a good sense of daily life on Mission Bay

Very nice place, relaxing, our dogs were able to run, and have fun.

Wow. Our first time on the 4th of July and the fire works were the best ive ever seen in person.

Cool breezes. Fire pits and an occasional bite on the fishing pole.

Nice simple not crowded park. No access to the beach, tables and fire pits. Nice urban views with boats going by most of the day.

A nice day in San Diego

Didnt know how to rate it because i like to walk my dog there in the morning but the park rec guy in truck 107756 this morning is mean. He has done it multipul times before.He yells at people in such a mean way. He makes me nervous cause he will drive by staring at me like he hates me. The spot has bathrooms picnic benches fire pits for bonfires nice view of boats coming in and out.

Nice for BBQs, Family fun, and just getting out to get some sun.

A lot of people enjoy going to this park. It is not exactly my cup of tea for several reasons. First, it is across the street from homes. The street is narrow and there is parking along the street only. There is one parking lot for the beach but it is small, maybe 10 cars. If that. Also, as I said, a lot of people go here so it can get quite crowded and the places of said are mostly close to the road. I enjoy all the beaches of San Diego but this is not my favorite.

Nice place to run,walk or ride your bike also have a nice picnic or just lay down on the grass.

Went out for the National Veterans Summer Sports Clinic NVSSC the Kayak clinics. Our Vets can never get enough support as far as im concerned. Anything i can do to support and honor the warriors for their service for us. Its a wonderful thing to see. They will be back next year...events in lLa Jolla, Coronado, and Mission Bay Yacht Club...a great time is had by all!!

The community was so inviting and the magnolia tree offered suck perfect shade, theres crabs in the rocks too!

Amazing views of the bay and the sunset. The place is has plenty of fireplaces to enjoy the views. With a bike path and a well maintained restroom, this is a perfect place to spend a fun evening with family and friends!

Very pretty, but crowded on weekends. Of you want a fire pit near the beach you have to be there at around 8:00am if its a weekend
