My friends and I went to this movie house to hang out and have fun. The staff was very accommodating, nice, and helpful. When we came in, the seats were comfortable and organized. Even the screen was too large and clear. Also, the popcorns and drinks that we bought were yummy and OK. Next time, we will come back, for your movie house was satisfying. Nice service!

It was weird picking our seats and wearing a mask the whole time. But enjoyed being able to see a movie on the big screen once again.

Very different in a COVID-19 world. Heath measures-wise, 6/5. I felt safer here than eating dinner with my mother.

I love this place what do I love about it ? The food, how I can enjoy the movie with no distractions, i love their customer service, I love that its a really clean place yes it a bit pricy but its worth every penny!

Pretty good theater. We came 3 minutes before the movie started but we still got awesome seats (we came on a Sunday at a 2:20pm showing). My boyfriend and I saw the Joker. We shared a XL popcorn and XL soda (at the end of the movie we got one free refill for each). They used a black sharpie and marked our popcorn bag & soda with a R which I think stands for refill and helps prevent people from refilling more than once (I think). All in all, your typical movie experience.

Seats are still terrible, however had almost an entire row to ourselves. The movie was less than stellar, but cant blame Harkins for that. The lobby and restrooms were well maintained. Mostly just the seats (so I will give it 4 out of 5, not my original 3 out of 5). Thank the management and staff for opening in this silly time.

Its so beautiful this theater. I went there just to see if it was open first and second to see what was playing and they had the posters out and everything was light up it was beautiful but I didnt actually go see a movie I just wanted to see what everything was open and it was some movies are up and open guys.

Finally opened back up since covid19, and I love the way they spread all of us out was very clean oh yeah also new mutants was BADASS!

I have been a customer of this theater for a long time! I have their rewards account and for Christmas they had a promotion if you buy more than a hundred dollars in gift cards you get twenty dollars in rewards to use so I did. I usually buy at the theater unless I know it’s going to be a popular movie then I buy online! I tried using my rewards toward tickets but they don’t allow you too. which I think is crazy! They charge a six dollar ticketing fee on top of the ticket prices which I think is outrageous! Don’t understand why a huge theater like Harkins needs to charge a fee in the first place and won’t allow you to use your hard earned points! There is no reason in this day and age that they can’t offer free online ticketing. It saves them trouble and less people at the box office at busy times! They have an app and online ticketing so this could be an easy change. They also don’t offer military prices in their online ticketing! Harkins get on the ball!

Nice location near a lot of great shops

I love this theater, especially now that seating is predetermined. The popcorn is the best and the seats are pretty comfortable! If they reclined too that would be ideal! Also the concession stand could move a bit faster. Even then the bathroom and theaters are always well maintained and its a great experience!

Love this Harkins location. Nothing particularly fancy but it is never super crowded on opening nights of big movies. Staff are always friendly and we are always greeted with a smile. They do a great job of keeping the entire place remarkably clean as well. Definitely are go to movie theatre.

Today was the best day ever. Valentine day and Sonic the hedgehog the movie came out. my kids and I had a awesome time... Theres a part two too it..

Good stadium seating. Clean restrooms, food and beverage slightly higher priced than a regal cinemas in California. I will add that i asked for two empty cups so I could share my large drink. It does come with a free refill so that was a plus. Just an idea

Good views from all seat although they need to upgrade to reclining seats. Way overpriced refreshments. $30 for two large popcorn and two large drinks!

I went to see The Way Back this afternoon.Good movie !!!The bad part is when I left I got to my car there was debris all over my car....A sticky substance all over my car... So needless to say my car has to be detailed again.....I just had it detailed at camelback collision about a month ago. (They do great work if you ever need body work done) Anyway if anyone goes to Harkins stay away from the trees.

Harkins Theatres Christown 14 is a classic and well-known theater located near Hollywood and Vine in AZ.Its a great place to go if you are in town for a few days and want to experience a bit of classic AZ and Pheonix.

More than snacks...They offer burger, fries and more. The place was clean and the staff was helpful.

Harkins always has thee best movies, nice employees to make sure our visit there is worth coming back.

Went to see Ben-hur (1959) at Harkins Christown for the Tuesday Night Classics. Stunning colors and wonderfully full grand music, and the story made me cry again. I highly recommend going to Tuesday Night Classics when you can. Check Harkins events on line for a line up of movies.

The concession stand workers could be a little more faster. Have carrying boxes ready in advance. We came early and still missed the beginning of our movie because we were at the snack bar for a long time.

We saw Overcomer, which was great. You now have to pick your seats and have assigned places, which I dont like. The cost is too high. I wanted to support this movie, but I wouldnt go there regularly with prices so high. I like Harkins, but the cost of movies is too high and most of what Hollywood is putting out these days isnt worth it. Not Harkins fault, but just a reality of today.

I like the reserved seating. You can buy your seats ahead of time and get good seats without hanging around for a long time. Staff is friendly.

I always preferred Harkins to AMC, but this area really brings the experience down.I will say this location is leagues above Metros. Stay away from that one.

We had a nice time. We watch Queen and Slim. All the new feathers of choosing your own seat before entering was cool but the theater attendance attitude was very bad need some customer service skills ASAP other than that it was okay.

They are making great progress at this location. New to them is assigned seating.

Harkins has the best movie theatres! Ive been a loyal Harkins movie goer for more than 40 years. When traveling and there are no Harkins we have to settle for less than the best. Christown is good but the two best are Camelview and Shea, but thats because I like foreign films.

This place rocks...always clean...secured...safe...and when a big movie is about to run...love it when a manager comes in and lays down the rules...love that...also love the have actual Law Enforcement keeping the peace....what I dont like are the security not doing their job outside. They should be allowing drop offs and pick ups where people are trying to walk to and from. Too many kids around and card doing drop offs or pics ups causes blind spots

Nice but they make it a bit confusing with the obnoxious set seating like youre going to a rock concert. Seems unnecessary!! Is the theater industry doing so badly they have to accurately keep track now?

I like that you can reserve a seat and bypass the ticket counter beforehand. I dont like that it cost $3 to do so. Souvenir cups and refills large popcorn are worthwhile.

This is why harkins wins .. i see all my Marvel Films here and will continue to do so until the end of time.They have 5 diff flavors of Seasoning/powder for your popcorn they do a loyalty program.u can bring ur backpack with u provided that u do not have weapons in them. they work well with fandango.

Very nice and clean! Matinees are the way to go! Not a crowded theater and temperature kept very comfortable, not freezing or too hot.

Had fun seeing Aladdin with my mom. Lines went by fast for tickets and concessions, seats were comfortable, and Bathroom was clean and fully stocked. Wonderful!

Only wish they had handicap accessible doors to the restrooms. I have two toddlers and struggled to push the stroller. Everything else was great.

This is one of my favorite theatres its always clean and the people that work there are Amazing, Pretty Polite GOOD customer service.

Its a good Harkins but lets face it, Christian needs to be torn down. Their breakfast is to drool over. Check it out.

Took my 3 kids; 4, 2, and 11 months. Had no problems. Staff was nice. The baby was starting to get fussy. So my wife sat outside for half the movie, and a staff member said if she wanted she could get a free ticket since she didnt see much of the movie, which was really nice.

Delicious popcorn and good movie. I really like the customer service at this place. Some of the customers who go here though are ignorant and dont understand movie watching etiquette. I had a grown man hit my chair throughout the movie. And on a different occasion I had a teenage girl refuse to move her feet off of my seat. I can see a public freakout being recorded at this location. But its clean I would recommend to avoid the customers.

Its cool, but I like the theaters with reclining chairs more.

Really bad customer service when i walked in the guy that takes tickets was nice as we walked to order there was two ladies taking orders they didnt greet us when walking up to order they didnt upsell they just basically gave us what they wanted.. Then to top it off while i was enjoying my movie one of the managers decided to come and ask me to see my tickets to make sure we payed.. and she didnt ask no one but my group i feel ashamed everyone was staring at us and made me feel really uncomfortable and she walked off..

The prices for food are ridiculous as usual. I spent $20 on a pretzel, nachos and a drink. I was with my little brother so I wasn’t too bothered because he was having fun. At least this Harkins isn’t assigned seating like AMC 24 downtown. So that’s a pro of this place too. You chose your own seat.

I usually go here just because it’s down the street from my house. It’s clean and usually pretty fast service. They have snacks inside and food that is a bit pricey. It’s easy to find the room the movie is in. Parking is sometimes full and you might have to part far but not all the time.

I love bringing my daughter here for our mommy daughter dates, she loves the movie theatre popcorn as do I :) we love the butter dispenser and the fact that we can add the ranch seasoning to our liking at no extra charge. It’s always clean when we go and employees are super friendly

Very good. It seems their menu is expanding with tasty foods. I was surprised and saddened to see they will be converting to assigned seating. Not good, I like the idea of walking up getting a ticket and seeing a movie.

The picture was very dark and it didnt seem like it had any sharpness to it. Overkill prices at the concession stand. Good Lord you have to be rich to go to the movies nowadays. Id much rather be in the back seat of the drive-in theater

This harkis has BEDBUGS. I used to work for a cleaning company called image property services. We clean harkins from midnight to 6 to 7 in the morning. They fumigate from 2-3 in the morning when the world is sleeping. I also took a video of the poison falling from the arm rest and john the supervisor took pictures of the actual bedbug we found on the powder to season your popcorn. So I confronted my cleaning company and now my supervisor john says I did it which is a lie explain the poison and the fumigation that happens early in the am around 3? My husband cleanded for Norterra and they never used to come in anytime of the night to fumigate. I will be posting up my video and exposing how image is covering up for this harkins. Why would yo continue working for them when there not even telling me I was working with poison and inhaling this powder stuff falling from the arm rest.

Theater is very clean,friendly staff,popcorn is always fresh and usually isnt to busy. The seats are comfortable and the movies are up to date. You can actually enjoy the movie without the noisy crowd. This is the theater I go to any time I decide to go to a movie. Give it a try, I think youll enjoy it.

Just saw Avengers, End Game. Tickeyong and getting my popcorn went smoothly. Clean theatre and restrooms. Friendly staff of young people. Watching the movie was great as there were no out of control patrons in the theatre.

Went to see ROCKETMAN . The theater wasnt too crowded. The consessions area seemed to offer more choices in food and drinks. Once inside the my choice of seats was wide open and l was able to sit at eye level and directly in the middle of the auditorium. The picture was phenomenal and the sound incredible. I will definitely go back to this venue again.
