Taking ALL perception possible for covid 19. They have a day care, but its not open due to covid 19. Allowing a lot less people at the same time per-movie room. I would say roughly half of whats normal occupancy. We were the only family watching the movie, due to covid 19, but not a rule of theater. Not many people watching movies right now and I get it completely. Was VERY clean. Staff are always nice, helpful and professional. The movie was great and so was the experience.

Good theater for the price. I really like coming here for the $1.50 refills when you purchase loyalty cup. If you think about it, all you really need is a small soda for the entire movie. Also its very expensive for just a small soda. Here are some pricing for the concession stand here and inside the theater. They also have a play center here so you can drop off your kids while you watch a movie.

They are taking every precaution against Covid and we ended up the only people in our theater. I felt safer in the movie theater than I do at the grocery store.

We are so happy to be able to go to the movies! (Tired of quarantine.) We saw TENET. Hard to keep up with the past, present and future they threw us into. The music and action sounds made our seats rumble and shake the whole time. This made for an interesting visceral experience. Overall we liked the movie but need to watch it again to get the jist of the past, present, future info.

Only reason I gave it a 4 star is because they dont have reclining seats. The place is clean, friendly staff, and even has a childcare area that looks clean and well equipped with toys and movies for the kids. The restrooms were clean and stocked with liners for the changing table, paper towels, TP, and soap. We enjoyed our movie, thanks!

Overall our experience was disappointing. The quality and cleanliness was less than my experience with AMC theaters. This location seems to be understaffed generally. The last time I visited (which was before the COVID shutdown), my wallet accidentally fell under the seats. I noticed my wallet was missing shortly after we drove away. I quickly called to let management know. They supposedly sent a staff member to check under our seats while I was on hold. The staff member returned to say that no wallet was found. I drove back to check for myself. My wallet was clearly laying under the edge of our seats. You barely had to bend down to see it! SMH. Glad I went back to check for myself! I would recommend AMC over this Harkins any day.

I was sceptical of going to the movies during the pandemic but wanted to support my local theatre. We love Harkins popcorn and feel like a trip to the movies isnt complete without it. Im super disappointed that there are no refills on the popcorn but the price is still the same. When we asked for a big bag (one that you would buy to take home) they said those were only for to go orders. I get that this is where they make their money but I think if they want to fill the seats, they have to make it worth our time and money. Why would I watch a movie WITH A MASK ON and pay lots of money for concessions when I could watch a movie at home WITHOUT A MASK for a lot less?? Harkins, do your future self a favor and take care if your customers while you still have them. I dont think Ill be returning anytime soon and I suggest others dont either.

Loved the service and how they are working to keep people safe. The only thing I didnt Love was the cost of snacks.

Harkins Norterra Is an awesome location they have the new leather seats and a bar in the lobby. And the service here is always just amazing. And the food here is awesome. Like seriously, you should try it. Its awesome. Thank you Harkins, Norterra. You guys are awesome. Keep up the good work.

I always go to Harkins over any of the other theatres just based on the fact that they have the loyalty cups which makes drinks so much cheaper than anywhere else if you go even just a few times a year. Ive also noticed that Harkins tends to be very clean in and out of the viewing rooms. The staff is always friendly and the concession stands seem to move quickly whether there is 1 line or 5.

Helpful staff at the Customer Service desk.I purchased 7 tickets in advance, but only 6 people came. They gave me a voucher for a movie in the future. Also, I wasnt able to figure out how to get my rewards points on-line, so they added them on to my account for me. They were friendly and didnt give me any hassle. Also, it is always much cleaner at Harkins than AMC. Seats are more comfortable as well.

Seats recline, the sound is great and its a nice place to spend a couple hours with the wife!!

This is one of our favorite theaters. They strive to keep it clean, make it family friendly, and offer a few extras like the kids center. The popcorn club and souvenir cups are worth it for frequent movie fans like us.

Nice staff and comfortable seating. I like that you can choose your seat when you purchase tickets, with a family of 5 it makes things much easier.

Were enjoy the norterra ara so much that we made this theater our home for the kids summer movies. I love Harkins and all that they offer. This location has a kids dropoff... wish we would have known when our kids were babies, haha

I have grown accustom to much better theaters but this one was okay. Likely.would have been 4 star as the food was good and movie quality better than average. My issue was that we had to wait outside the theater door as they took longer than normal to clean the theater, the seats were not very comfortable, and the staff was hit or miss on friendliness.

Excellent theater! I prefer the Stadium seating here over the recliners (which trigger a nap).

The theater is good shape but the seats really should be updated to recliners. Other than that its a good theater with big screens, stadium seating and good popcorn.

This place is Fantastic Four movie goers. It has huge screens and you can pick the seat you want. That is if you get there before everybody else.

The theater was clean but outdated! Whomever owns this location is apparently too cheap to invest in better seating so the customers could be more comfortable. Hopefully another theater could open around that area and put this place to shame. HORRIBLE PLACE STAY AWAY I found there is a AMC a couple miles south.

We always enjoy the service we receive at this Harkins theater. Today we were efficiently served by Megan, who makes a mean bag of popcorn.

Of the two theaters in Deer Valley ( this is actually in Happy Valley not to put too fine a point on it) this is the least expensive. Everything is cheaper; the tickets, popcorn, soda, etc. Plus the personnel I noticed were a touch more friendly. When you ask one of them if they have seen the movie they will tell you just enough to wet your appetite but no spoiler alerts. I really only go to the other one when this one isnt showing a movie I want to see. They both have very comfortable seating.

Though farther from home its still harkins and its much easier to get into first run movies here

Outdated everything from the 90s. Walls and chairs must be 30 years old. Cramped seats not competitively comfortable like the new ones that recline in most theaters. Did not show epilepsy warning before star wars like at other theaters. Sound volume seemed low compared to other theaters as well.

They followed the Covid guidlines for all our safety.

Quick, clean and staff is always friendly. Really enjoy this location.

They dont have the recliners that some of the theaters have but has more seats available so we were able to get a good seat with only a couple hours prior to reserve.

Harkins Happy Valley is a nice theater. The service is fairly quick (no surprise, goodies are over-priced) and staff is primarily high school/ young college kids. The movie studios are clean, however, the spaces are not equipped with the newer style seating (still the old school flip down seats). Parking can be limited on weekends.

Movie was awesome... but we all know wth do charge so much for popcorn and candy... for that price get servers and lose concession stand. Walmart makes more money on candy and its cheaper. Oh cause we sneak it in.....! I got more ideas if you want them....

Used to be great. Theyre assigned seated theaters now. I know Im in the minority with this but I hate assigned seating. My objective is to always go see a movie with the least amount of people possible and be able to sit as far away from other people as possible. Now with assigned seating someone buys seats right next to me and I cant do anything about it except wait for the movie to start and hope that where I move to arent seats for someone late. Assigned seating sucks. Can we please just keep some of the old school theaters without assigned seating for those of us that know how to be prompt to a movie?

Love this harkins location!.. very convenient and clean all the time. Parking can depend on certain days of the week as it shares with a few other businesses around there. But the parking behind the theater is A plus++ most times.

They have very comfortable seating and everyone is very helpful and very courteous when you go to the concession stand. Would recommend Harkins to all my friends

This is a nice theater with polite staff and cheaper options than most other theatres. Getting the loyalty cup is worth it if you frequent the the theaters as much as I do (about 2-3 times a month). Because its only 1.50 to get a drink instead of paying 6-7 dollars for a large drink every time. Harkins also has the best tasting popcorn out of everyone else. Plenty nice restaurants in the immediate area to grab some grub afterwards. My only gripe with this theater is that it doesnt have reserved seating.

The staff here is very kind. I feel like they go above and beyond to take care of customers. The employees answering calls to guest services are helpful and respectful.The facilities are clean from the lobby to the theatre to the restrooms. I dont think there is anything I could complain about.The concession prices are high, but I can understand why.

I would rather spend the money going to do Harkins movie theater than any where else. At Harkins it like they understand family. No assigned seating. You dont have to worry about drunk people they still dont serve alcohol. They offer a child care at quite a few location witch is nice. Because Mom and Dad should not always have to see a kids movie when going out. The concessions are fresh. Popcorn is fresh not the night befores. There Hot foods list is not bad for a movie theater. Spend your money to see good movies here you will have a great time with your friends and family.

Enjoy this theater, easy to get to and have been playing all the new release films. Chairs are comfortable, staff are professional and plentiful. Lines are usually not to long at the concession stand and the popcorn is very good.Wife and I have gone last 4 weeks in a row to see new releases.Plenty of parking and lots to do and eat in the area.

Suggestion have a sound proof section for children who cant stop talking/ or crying. So everyone can enjoy movies. Last movie was ruined and i had my grand daughter whose 5. I dont know who was louder the parents telling their kids to hush or the kids

I really love this theater because of the daycare and allows me to see movies that I wouldnt be able to see when I cant get a sitter. The loyalty cups are amazing I wish they still had the T-shirt popcorn deal. They do have outdated seats which is not a big deal to me but to some it might be!

Theres a reason Harkins is my go to movie theater and this place is a good example. Very good employees well-kept uniforms very clean bathrooms and lobby and great tasting popcorn.
