I enjoy it because its cheap, air conditioned and almost always deserted! I love having the theater to myself hahaWish the actual seats were more comfortable.

The PV Picture Show is amazing. We just celebrated ours sons birthday there using the party package they provided. It was fantastic. They took care of everything at a cost that was so low it made me second guess. They set up the party table, provided popcorn, drinks and a small candy to each kid along with the movie ticket. The service was awesome and we truly appreciated everything. My son and his friend and family had a great time.

This movie theater is a really cozy place. It almost feels like having a movie theater in your livingroom. The popcorn is better than Harkins, the candy isnt expired, the soda is nice and bubbly, and the hotdogs are only a buck! To top it all off, on Tuesdays movies only cost $4 all day! Best movie theater ever!

Ive always given this local family owned movie house 5 stars in the past, because the service and the prices have always been outstanding. They still are, however I went to see a movie here last week and I have to say that the seats are in disrepair. Many of them were marked out of order.I really hope this place figures that out, because Id rather pay a little extra to have a comfortable seat for two hours.Next time Im going to think about my options before I go here.

We love this theater. No one is ever in it so we often have the space to ourselves or at least very few people. I hope that by giving it 5 stars people dont start going here more...It does not have the nice electric recliners like most theaters, but its still a nice place.

Awesome little gem. Its less packed than other theaters. You self pay for your ticket at the kiosk, and the popcorn and stuff prices are reasonable for a movie theater. The theater stays open longer than the mall, so if you go after hours, make sure you enter through the north entrance by the garage. I would only reccomend that they get that flavored popcorn stuff you can sprinkle on your popcorn, cause I love that stuff.

This is a fine and clean movie theater to enjoy a movie. Be aware this is what theaters used to be like in the 90s and earlier one does not know where you will sit before you show up.

This is a small theater in a local mall. It was updated with nice seats, very clean and fresh. Prices are reasonable and the movies are first run. Theres covered parking and a food court adjacent. Ill go back.

The star wars movie was good.The screen was good.The sound was average.Overall a good experience.It is best to go a few weeks after the main opening.

This is my go to theatre. Its a nice small theatre thats always nice and clean. The prices are really great, especially if you go on a Tuesday for the $4 deal! However I have to say the seats are super uncomfortable. They are very stiff and do not recline at all unless you are pushing against the seat in front, which of course you do not want to do if someone is sitting there! I still give it 5 stars!

Outstanding experience with manager Will and assistant manager Josh. We had a birthday party, and the number of attendees dwindled due to illness, weather, etc. These guys rolled with the punches and really went above and beyond to ensure an excellent event. They were patient with the kids’ choices of drink & candy, helpful with setup (they basically did everything), and friendly to boot. Highly recommend. This place may not be as well-known due to location and branding, but it’s clean, comfortable, affordable, and the kids loved their outing. And on Tuesdays, movies are $4! Five-star experience.

Picture Show is the best movie theater in Arizona. They just need to keep up on the maintenence. I saw a lot of broken chairs and paint chiped off the railings.

I have been here many times, and never once have I been unsatisfied. They stick to the fact of being a family owned business, because it is so welcoming to families of all types. Its also a great place to go see a movie with friends, then go shopping right next door. The only thing I found slightly uncomfortable is the set up of the seating.

The cool thing about this place is that all movies are $5 they also have the latest movies the only bad thing about it is that they only play am certain hours but other than that it is very nice in there

My favorite place to catch a movie. The location is prime (for us) and the prices are simply great. When the big names are charging 10$+ for a recent release, my wife and I can walk in for two tickets and a popcorn for ~$17 depending on our popcorn needs. The service is always great which really keeps us coming back. Keep it up!

Saw Lion King, it was great. Stuck very close to original.Had popcorn, drinks and Junior Mints.Wasnt overpacked, thought there was going to be a problem with the people in the row behind us as they were noisy when they came in. But when the movie started they got quiet and the only noise was reactions to movie. Although the kid did kick the back of my seat.Had to purchase tickets from concession stand, employee was very polite and helpful explaining best pricing on snack/drink combos.Would definitely recommend theater and movie.

OMG! This place is awesome. Quiet, friendly, comfortable place to watch movies. It makes going to the movies a pleasant and affordable experience. They even have $4 tickets all day on Tuesday. If you buy the popcorn bucket for $7 you can get a free refill. They have amazing birthday packages as well. If you park in the garage and walk in near the carousel its super fast to get in. No need to walk thru the whole mall.

Everything youd really want from a movie theatre at a cheap price. Id recommend it over anything else.

My 8th year old son had his birthday party at the Picture Show over the weekend and it really exceeded all our expectations. William was there to usher us in before the theater even opened so we could unpack the lunch we brought in, choose what rows of seats to reserve, and to go over the snack options. Once guests started arriving William really took over and made sure he kept an accurate account, made sure everyone got a tray (popcorn, soda and candy), and made sure they made it to the right theater. After the movie, an area was set up for us to enjoy lunch, presents and cake. I really couldnt be more pleased. We will definitely book a party here again!

We really enjoyed our experience. Its $5 every day before noon. We are visiting for a month and plan to return several times before we leave. We like that its family owned. No compaints.

Im always surprised and a little sad when I go here that it is not more busyI know it doesnt have the big fancy screens like the others, but its right here on our doorsteps! We are lucky that someone bothered to re-open it .... It was closed for many years.I wish more people would support it! It is within walking distance of thousands of houses and apartments.It is convenient and always clean.

Prices are good the food is on par (for a movie theater) but the chairs are so uncomfortable that I wish they would upgrade them because it would make me want to go there a lot more. besides that though its okay for a cheapish place to take the kids when its too hot to do anything else.

I usually like going to see the movies at the Picture Show, BUT there was a problem today, we could not see the movie straight through without stopping. The movie stopped 3 times and it has to restart over and over again which was annoying.

The Picture Show inside PV mall is a nice, small theater. Its not the place to go if youre looking for tons of options, as it is fairly limited (they have around 6 individual screening rooms, I believe), but its convenient if youre already up at the mall or the surrounding areas (there are a ton of stores and restaurants within walking distance) and you want something to do whilw out and about. Tickets and concessions are around the same price as Harkins or AMC, but it often has fewer patrons than other theaters.

Teeny, tiny ruined a shirt because someone stuck candy in between the seats. The seats are very uncomfortable and the soda tasted water down and the popcorn almost tasted like cardboard

I had a group of friends and we went to go see Marvel EndGame the night it came out. We were all really excited and honestly, I would have 100% enjoyed the movie better if it literally was not over 85 degrees in our theater. It was theater 4 and we went to go ask if they can change it and said we are sending someone right now to fix it and never did. Every person in that theater made a remark on how hot it was and we were all sweating. There was 0 air flow and I and everyone else could not enjoy watching the movie that we all wanted to so much because we were all sweating. Because it was so hot in the theater, my drink that i bought wasnt enjoyable to drink because it was luke warm! I dont think i would come back here or recommend to others. I am disappointed that I thought I could enjoy watching Marvel EndGame and didnt.

Inexpensive and clean movie theater. Even the concessions are cheaper than at a Harkins or another large chain cinema.

When you come here do not and I repeat DO NOT be expecting an AMC or Harkinss experience or else youll be SORELY DISAPPOINTED! That being said, not at all bad for the price! The popcorn was pretty good as well!

I honestly have no idea how this place has such good reviews. Its in PV mall which is dying slowly and picture show is no exception. The bathrooms and chairs are horribly outdated and falling apart. Pricing is $5 for a ticket for shows before 12. That is the exact price as Harkins/amc prices. Stay away and go somewhere else.

Love this theater. Being disabled it is so welcoming. The staff is wonderful and the theater is clean. The movies and sound are perfect. Great hot dogs and popcorn. The food court in the mall is right outside and is also great for lunch or dinner or for a blizzard after the movie.

Nice and clean. The chairs lean back and the cup holders raise up in case you have a little one with you. This is my new movie theater now!

The chairs are very confortables, and it’s always clean!!The only thing that I don’t like is the fact that I never see a lot of people and I’m afraid they might have to close I truly hope not because this place is amazing!! They are not a discount movie theater any more. They added power recliners so I guess they have to charge full price to pay for them.

Very quiet and low key theatre. Rarely, if ever, crowded. It is small, so there is not a huge selection of movies, but the prices are so affordable I cant complain. Great choice for watching a movie.
