This super saver cinema has been around forever. Theres a reason why its cheap to watch movies here. The movies that play here have been out for awhile but not long enough to be on rental. The main lobby is small. Concessions offered are typical: drinks, popcorn, nachos, candy. The seating isnt stadium style. But thats why its cheap to come here. The cinema does a good job keeping the place clean. The last movie I saw here was Detective Pikachu. My family had a really good time.

People are to hard when reviewing this place. It’s a 3$ movie don’t be so picky! Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was great, only problem is the seats. They are uncomfortable and not suitable for some plus size people (arm rests don’t go up).Second everyone is complaining about the concessions being so pricey. However, most people don’t realize that the money for the ticket goes straight to the film makers and not the theater. They only way theaters make money is by selling food and drinks. So again, don’t be so picky.. it’s a 3$ movie! Overall it’s a great place I love it!

Was super excited to get to go to this theatre again. Haven’t been since I was in elementary school.Spent my entire day off looking forward to seeing Good Boys at 7:20 pm. Well, as luck would have it we didn’t end up getting there until 7:28 pm. No big deal right, there’s ads.. well, they had already locked their doors! We knocked and the girl cleaning out the popcorn looked at us and continued cleaning. We had to call the store twice for someone to answer. And they’re arguing that we weren’t there at 7:20. We’ll excuse me for being 8 min late, but you’d think not even 10 min past the start time you’d be able to still see the movie.NEVER GOING BACK! & thanks for ruining date night.

My family and I love coming to this place. We love the old history, the dingy carpet, old smell of the place, and just the over all feel of it. My 3 year old enjoys walking through the hallway to our theater. The seats are small and loud but it makes it all the more enjoyable for us knowing this is an older place that hasnt really been remodeled and I kind of hope it doesnt or it will lose that magic about it. Cheesy I know.....

I didnt actually visit this place a couple of weeks ago but the last time I went it was gross and disgusting. Because of this I dont go back. I dont want to give it five stars which is what I usually do when I trying to get rid of these with an explanation that I didnt actually go there but in this particular case I have been here and I doubt Id ever go back.

Perfect reminder of the old Cineplex Odeons style which is fine, but then you only have to enjoy a decent selection of newer titles and some not so much. I dont mind because you dont have to mortgage your house just to see a movie and enjoy refreshments at the same time! We go on date night so we can save up and have dinner and drinks! Its never busy and the location is odd, but I keep finding it. ️

Awesome prices and fun theater. It reminds me of going to the movies when I was a kid...only it’s even more affordable. 2 dollar Tuesdays! They still have some movies when they’re available to rent but why not go see them on a big screen and pay less than you would on iTunes! Really enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!

This place hasnt changed since I started coming as a kid, and I dont mind at all. Sticky carpets, early 80s interior decor, & the classic waves of light along the ceiling of the theater hallway...its all pretty much exactly the same. I mean, besides the price - it used to be the $1 theater and now its the $3.50 theater ($2 on Tuesdays) - but the price of everything has gone up, and they gotta stay in business, so I understand.Always appreciate walking into nostalgia-land when I come here. Never change, Silver Cinemas. Never change. (Its a safe bet you never will, and I love it)

Love this place! Its worth waiting for certain movies to come out! Inexpensive LITERALLY which is very convenient if you love movies but dont usually go due to the outrageous cost at a modern theater. My kids love it! Although the image is NOT like a regular and more modern theater, in the end when I leave with more in pocket and happy children....well its totally worth it in my book!

For a low cost, older theatre, you get what you pay for but thats not a bad thing here. It was fine. $2 each person is definitely a good deal! Ill definitely come back!

This place was cheap and had the movie we wanted to see since it was weeks out of the regular theaters, although it was an incredibly long drive. We bought our tickets outside and when we entered the two employees at the counter looked genuinely surprised to see customers. They greeted us enthusiastically and we gazed around a movie theater lobby seemingly frozen in time. It looked like it was stuck somewhere between the 1970s and 1980s.There were interesting light fixtures everywhere and a large circular lobby with some old arcade games. It smelled a bit musty and our theater even more so. We sat in seats that creaked and groaned and worried that these easily decades old seats might give way, but they did not. The theater was pitch black with no lane lights or lamps on the walls. No music or commercials were playing either and we waited in the eerie silence, alone, for the movie to start. We were surprised by the quality if the screen and sound of our film, which were far more up to date than the rest of the theater. We completely forgot about our surroundings once the movie began. Overall it was a cool experience to visit this theater. It felt like visiting a piece of the past. Since it was such a drive it may be a long time before we come back here though.

This theatre has been sadly let go. The floors feel sticky in the theatre and the seat i sat in had a distinct smell of cat urine. The air seemed to make me feel ill. Im sensitive to corn and attribute the air in the place to my feeling of exhaustion like i needed badly to lie down and sleep. Having said that it seems the perfect place to bring children because of the reduced admission price.

I enjoyed the movie Bumble Bee. The sound was AMAZING !! KEEP it up. I like a loud movie ! I did however see some people straggle in way after it started, and wondered if they had a Ticket or double dipping movies....stealing... And also the Mens Room was not looking very acceptable. No paper towels.... And floors / toilets messy. Oh, and I sure HOPE SOME DAY.... The Cinema does a seating renovation ! You NEED larger seats and space in between to sit down. I was barely able to fit in the seats you are offering !!! I MAY EVEN bring my own chair next time. But all was good besides. Thanks !

Found this little place on a peak heat day. We were nearby and looking for something to do for a few hours before our flight, so we decided to catch a movie. The tickets were reasonably priced, $3.50 a person. And the popcorn and water were about average for a theatre. It was less than $20 for two people to go see a movie and it looks that they have about 8 movies at any given time.

Not many places you can catch a movie in the valley for $3.50 a ticket. The movie theater itself is not one of the modern theaters but it wasnt all that bad.Took my two daughters there over the Memorial Day weekend and there was a decent crowd but not like some of the other theaters where you cant even find a seat.Expect to pay premium prices for refreshments and candy/popcorn.They dont show movies that just were released, but if you missed a movie when it first came out and want to see it prior to it coming out on video, this is the place to go.Bathrooms werent the best so go before you get there. All in all not a bad experience. Id go again.

I like coming here. I come watch a movie every weekend. I think it’s great because movies usually come straight here after a few weeks at a blockbuster new release type theater. I get to see for $3.50 what you paid $14 to see just a week ago. How crazy is that? Some have been released to Netflix or dvd, but I want to see big movies on a big screen. I always have. I gave it 4 stars only because it’s a really old theater, and the seats are tiny. So in fairness it can’t be a 5. That would be top of the line. But I think anyone would enjoy a movie there.Surprisingly, it does not have that funky old building smell, which is huge in my book because I can’t do funky smells. Never could. The popcorn and candy are high just like a new release theater. But they’re just as food. Especially the popcorn. HERE’S A TIP: Save your LARGE popcorn bag, the empty, wipe the inside down with a small towel, and save it. They will give you one free refill the next time you come. That’s worth eight bucks ($8)!

Great for large families that may not otherwise foolishly pay the higher priced tickets. Movies arent too far out from original display. Like all theaters, concessions are outrageously tricked-out you know what to do-wink. You cant help wondering if your going to pick up bed bugs from the seats (fabric). I was so uncomfortable with the thought, that I sat like a statue the whole time and avoided placing my head against the seat. We live In a bedbug state. They also show a nice mix of movies, sometimes even exclusive screenings of independent, experimental, low budget type of fare.
