I wish I had pictures of my room BUT 5 stars for the paradise building of the breakers. We stayed in a 3 bedroom 2bath. I got two king beds and two queen beds and a pull out couch. Full kitchen with coffee maker, toasters, pots, pans, and utensils.Rooms are very modern and were very clean. The kids loved the long balcony. There was a door in the living room and the master bed room. Jacuzzi tub in master room as well.We did have like two nats in the bathroom but they could have come in when we open the balcony doors.I did not like the half open, half open pool. The weather was not bad but it was a little chilly and I would have preferred for the pool to be closed and completely indoor BUT the kids loved it either way.We have already booked a other stay for Thanksgiving. This time I will have pictures. But the Paradise building is the place to be.
Positive: Everything location, hotel, staff, wonderful Negative: No
I was here for a week and it was amazing. I stayed in the Palms building. My room was clean and beautifuly decorated. The staff was so friendly. Checking in was a breeze and the guy that checked me in was kind and helpful. I ran into several maintenance staff members and even they were polite. I have never felt so welcomed. I have found my go to resort whenever Im in Myrtle Beach. I have stayed in a lot of hotels, and their customer service is unmatched. You can tell that someone high up cares. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff.
The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean. The reason for my review are based on managements decision to provide reduced amenities during the off season. We paid $300 for a room for the night to allow our children to use the water slides/indoor pools etc. However, management only has the water slides open from 11-5pm. We arrived after five and were made to leave by 11am the next morning. We were unable to use the water slides and one of the only two hot tubs in our building “paradise” was inoperable. We also have stayed at the Caribbean recently and the pool were closed for maintenance. “Britain” group need to get it together. We asked why the slides had limited availability, we were told it was a cost saving measure. Someone at the top is making decisions based only on profits and not on guest retention.
Fantastic golf package. ($ value was excellent) The resort staff were professional. They did skip our room for cleaning and restocking coffee, towels, etc. One day of the 3 we spent there. Also, we did have a large roach in our 3 bedroom unit. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.
This is my second, and last, trip to Breakers Resort. We had a condo unit with a washer/dryer. I woke up early to go look for shells on the beach and found a live cockroach in one of the bathrooms then another live cockroach on the wall by the washer/dryer. I reported this to the front desk in which they barely seemed to care. The staff was less then friendly and even less helpful. They wanted to send Orkin to spray for the insects, but couldnt confirm if the chemicals would harm my toddler son. I requested to be moved to another unit, but was told that no units were available. I proceeded to call the CEOs office for the resort management firm. I was then advised that rooms were available and an order would be put in to have a new room arranged. We were eventually able to change rooms, but this effectively wasted an entire day of our vacation. The bathroom fans didnt work, there was duct tape used to hold down wires, there was barely any hot water in our first room, there was NO housekeeping unless you specifically called the front desk to request it. The staff would get on elevators with us without any masks on, even though there were numerous posted signs stating that staff was NOT to ride an elevator with guests. The room decor appears that it hasnt been updated since 1970 and the carpet was loose in the living room areas. With as many hotel options that are available in Myrtle Beach take your money elsewhere so you can actually enjoy your stay.
It was a great price at the last minute. We stayed in the Paradise building and we were more than happy w the room accommodations! Kitchen w full stove, microwave and full fridge, dishes and cups are supplied and full separate livingroom. To add to my previous review... again Jake was so nice and helpful! Great cheerful positive personality. My best friend and I loved his birthday upbeat attitude and contagious happiness!
I love this resort! We stayed for 4 days and it was the best vacation. Our room was accommodating and very clean. Staff was super nice and helpful. Kids loved the pools and water slides. Only bad part was the construction outside our balcony but that couldnt be helped. Cant wait til our next stay!
Staff was very helpful and friendly, check in was easy and quick the room looked great had 1 issue with the room # 945 the shower water pressure was horrible took a while to rinse off the soap. And the other issue that I had was my New wife and I were on our quick little honeymoon overnight and at 630 Am we are woken up by construction workers grinding metal on the new building going up next door... we had planned on sleeping in that morning at least till 9 and well that didnt happen. We felt that a portion of our little getaway was I interrupted and screwed up... if the breakers resort is putting up a new building then they should never start any construction work till at least 8 to 9 am....
I had the do not disturb sign on our door the entire time but the one time i needed housekeeping they let me down. I accidentally dropped a glass bottle in the Kitchen and called the front desk, told them what happened and requested assistance cleaning. We left the room and when we came back we could tell they had been by but there were still visible shards on the floor so we had to wear shoes in the room during the remainder of our stay. The other issue we had was with the CLEANLINESS of the pool and hot tub. I developed a scary staph infection (my first) on a very sensitive part of my body from what i believe was the water in the hot tub. I did not go into the ocean during my stay. we were in 2 hot tubs. the flower shaped one in the paradise building and the one to the left of the pool in the palms building. The smell of chlorine was so strong in the tub in the palms building that we were in there for 5 minutes and i asked my boyfriend if we could get out because my nose and eyes were getting irritated. The sides of that hot tub were also completely green from what we believe was chlorine. The fact that the pools in the paradise building are unmonitored and no key is required to enter is very strange. anyone can waltz in and use the pool. We were there without our wristband for 4 days and no one ever said anything so how many other people just waltz in and use the facility? The love seat in our room was so dingy and dirty that i took the extra sheet in the closet and covered the love seat so we could sit and watch a movie. The weather was cool so we decided to rent a DVD, its cool that the resort was offering free rentals with good selections but the TV in the living area was so old that it had marks on the screen, we didnt use the TV by the beds. The exterior of the resort looks nice and renovated but dont let that fool you, a renovation is part due.The last disappointment came at time of checkout when i inquired about the possibility of a later checkout because our flight was at 8pm. I spoke to a Laurie, who was rude and short with me. When i started telling her i gave housekeeping a head start by removing the bedding and piling it up she cut me off and told me:that doesnt matter. She didnt even let me finish my sentence. As a supervisor, she should be more courteous and friendly. I dont know if she was just having a bad day but she should not be speaking to guests like that.THE POSITIVE:the view was nice, we slept in the Murphy bed so we could enjoy the view but i had back and shoulder pain every day but the view was worth it. The couponsconclusion:I went to celebrate my 30th birthday and ended up with my first staph infection, so my experience staying at the breakers resort will be memorable but not in the way i would have liked.
Positive: The amazing view of the ocean from 20 stories up. Negative: N/A
We stated in the Paridise building and it was great, this building had the kiddie water park behind it and the biggest pools, just steps from the beach. We didnt know that there are several different buildings for this resort so you need to walk to each to visit different water activities. The room was clean and they brought us a plunger and blankets up very fast. They were on top of everything and let us check in sooner because we arrived sooner. Also NO BEDBUGS, which is important to note because Myrtle Beach hotels seem to he infested these days.
Very clean and beautiful. Staff is very friendly especially Jake. Jake makes this whole place. Love seeing his friendly, happy face. He is very helpful and fun and should make a ton of money because he definitely makes the place
We decided to stay here after driving 8 hours, we got in at 1am and they were able to get us a nice king size room. Parking is close with a garage one block up. We stayed in the Palm tower, very clean and updated. After one night we switched to an oceanfront room and the staff was amazing to help us get situated very quickly. Beach access is quick and easy. Did not use the pool because of people not following social distancing. The kitchen was stocked with silverware, plates, cups, dish soap, towels, nice dorm size fridge, oven, stove, and toaster. The breakfast was amazing next door at Papa’s. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here.
They had construction going on the floor above us at 8:30 in the morning. Wish they could’ve done this after we checked out in the afternoon
Im updating this review after staying in another updated room. The palms building has been updated beautifully, the rooms dont smell and its much cleaner. The beds are still not up to par as I had back pain each day I woke up and could hear the springs but it was a much better experience. Love the bar/restaurant downstairs and the pools were definitely warmer. The 1ft pool and the large pool at paradise are well heated but the lazy river is not! Would get 4 stars if the beds werent so uncomfortable. Some rooms are not updated as pictured, but I saw no bugs and it was very clean, the rooms do have a slight smell to them. Not a bad smell per say just not a fresh smell, probably because the mattresses are so old. Customer service was excellent upon arrival but then upon checkout we had someone coming to our door to see if we were still here at 9:30 when checkout was 11, I felt rushed out of our room. I was told the night before I could do a late check out but when I called in the morning it was not honored. I understand covid but you should honor your promise and deal with the consequences.Pros:Updated kitchenettes, very spacious roomsClean, no bugs in our room.HUGE suite with a very large balcony!Cons: indoor pool is freezing!!Mattresses are OLD and you can feel the springs move when you lay on them. We stayed in a 3 bedroom and all 5 beds were this way.
The stay was wonderful!! It has many buildings you can enjoy different type of pool experiences. The rooms are beautiful and can accommodate a entire family. Do bring groceries, you can cook!! Yes made breakfast and hit the beach!! A place to bring the family as a place away from home!! Really a nice place!!
Positive: Staff was very nice Negative: The beach isnt safe anymore not even in the day
Great location. Within walking distance from the ferris wheel, Broadway, and restaurants. My son loved the pools and slides. Room was comfortable. I asked for a lower level room but was put on floor 10. The ocean view ended up being a side view. I probably would have given the resort 5 stars but the shower had no water pressure and the housekeeper did not clean our room.
I must admit my first impression of this resort was that it was a basic 3 star budget resort, but after I entered my room it my mind was changed. This resort was decent with a beautiful ocean view. Now I am staying in the Paradise building so I really cant speak for the other buildings. The amenities are nice I just dont like having to cross the street for parking and the restaurants. I always wipe down everything when I stay on any hotel or resort and inspect the sheets on the beds which I did have to change the sheets on one of the beds in my condo. Overall if youre look for a resort that is cost efficient and decent with a lot of amenities I would recommend this resort.
Just checked it. This place has to be the jewel of myrtle beach. Its amazing. The rooms are perfect for kids and adults alike. Think Ill go ahead and book next years stay before we leave. So much to do for kids, couples and singles.
Stayed here multiple times. Always a great experience. Rooms are very nice & always clean, pools & slides are a plus for the kids. Plenty of parking w/ a parking deck & located within walking distance to downtown
Not terrible. Book the Paradise annex. The furnishings are quite dated but fairly clean and cozy. As far as the sailfish building it is absolutely dated and tired. They could use a facelift if you need modern living.
I was and there as part of a demolition crew taking out a couple of rooms on the ground floor so the resort can expand it into a grill and pub. The photos I took are mostly of the ceiling above the panels. This is where I had to get to the structural and support columns, rods, and cable, as well as the crossbar grid do my job of taking it out. I do have to say, this wasnt a small job; and these buildings are put together very well. So on top of the extremely helpful and friendly staff (who didnt even get mad at us for making a mess), beautiful scenery and great location, if you ever stay at The Breakers resort you will definitely be safe and in good hands.
Fun waterslides though not always properly monitored by lifeguards. Great layout of the room though hard and springy beds. Outside noise was greater than most places. Shower was great. Great location.
We had a great time here beautiful resort nice pools. Had water slides and lazy river. Highly recommend staying here, we will definitely be back
The nice ocean front view was the only thing that stopped us from checking out. We stayed in the very dated Sailfish portion of the hotel. Although I am sure they clean after every guest the room still was not clean. Dingy curtains, dirty floors and walls, and the carpet was dusty. We did not use the kitchen during our stay due to the funky odor coming from the sink. The bed was not comfortable by any means. We are still looking for the pillow top mattress. The staff was pleasant butWould not recommend this hotel.
Positive: Close to the house my wife and I have.Close to the sea. Negative: The people on other floors smoking Marijuana in upper or lower floors. The smell prevented me from enjoying the terrace view.
Room 573. Had to call maintenance numerous times! Fridge did not cool food! Normal size! Was told by front desk, do not overload! Rented DVD from facilities and DVD player did not work! Toilet used moderately was clogged. Pool hours clearly indicate open 9AM to 11PM, yet hot tub in pool area not working after 8PM! Im here for the World Amateur golf tournament. I will not be here next year. 50 % should be refunded. Not comp for another horrific stay.
We planned a trip over Halloween, but the Halloween event we wanted to go to got canceled due to covid. However, because we stayed at the Breakers our trip was the best beach trip we’ve ever had. Even if our event would have went on as planned, I don’t think our kids would have wanted to leave the hotel. The slides, pool, and room were above and beyond. Thank you, breakers!
Hospitality was great rooms are nice and clean if you are hot nature as I the air works wonderful. I enjoyed my weekend gateway here I will definitely book this hotel again.
My family and I stayed here over night. It was last minute and rushed. We came upon Peter Necastro. He was blessing to my family and I. Everything almost everywhere was sold out or wasn’t fit to stay in. The Breaker was very clean and as close to being home as we could get. Great place great people!!!
We loved everything about this hotel. Room was super clean, the pool was super fun, my son had a blast and nothing can’t beat the view at the end of the day. Definitely coming back next summer
This was the 1st time we visited The Breakers. We visit Myrtle at least twice a year. When we arrived it smelled like sewage in front of paradise building. The room smelled like cigarettes and pool area were not very clean. The staff was very friendly and the kids liked the pirate ship. However, when we were leaving i noticed that the curtains were covered in blood stains. BLOOD STAINS!?!?!I have a photo of the blood stains. Not sure if we will be returning. That is beyond disgusting and not to mention a HUGE health risk.
Love this place! Right by the ocean, super nice staff, and a great value. A++
This was the 1st time my family and I visited The Breakers. When we arrived it smelled like straight up sewage. The rooms smelled like cigarettes and the floors and bathroom were not very clean. Im giving it a 1 star, because the staff was very friendly and my kids liked the pirate ship. However, when we were leaving i noticed that the curtains were covered in blood stains. BLOOD STAINS!?!?! My family and i will not be returning. That is beyond disgusting and not to mention a HUGE healt risk.
Room is in some disrepair and generally in need of paint. The refrigerator/freezer makes a loud grinding noise, so if someone is going to sleep in the foldout, bring headphones. Bathrooms/bedrooms are small, but generally the cleanest/nicest parts. Staff is nice, but the website pictures aren’t representative of all the buildings (this was the sailfish). The elevator smells like weed, add or remove a star per your personal prefs.
Great location. Rooms were clean and updated. Pools were great. The humidity was a little high during our stay and our room had a wet feel to the carpet with the AC running but other than that a great option for a get away.
Awesome Hotel!! Weve been here the last four years, for my Fathers birthday!! Beautiful views, gorgeous rooms...Youll fall in love!!
Great family hotel. The rooms, pools, beach access, dj, bars, cleanliness and the great staff and service are all reasons to return. My family loves this place! I guess I did a great job finding a real Resort this year. Last year was our 1st year visiting Myrtle Beach and we made the horrible mistake of staying at Ocean Park Resort... what a joke! Definitely a 1000% improvement on our vacation experience this year. We will definitely be back!Edited comment : They offer shuttle service and I was told it was only to and from the airport and a drop off to Boardwalk on the beach. Unfortunately, that didnt seem to be true as my family and I saw the shuttle driver picking up people at the Sky Wheel and other areas. We went back to the airport to rent a vehicle because we were told by the front desk that they didnt take the guest to any other place but airport, the 2 hotels and maybe Broadway at the beach if they had time. I guess it depends on who you are.
This was paradise. Too bad we could only stay one night. Will definitely come back!
Why offer washers and dryers that take quarters if they there are no coin machines, the vending machines give out dimes only, and the staff cant cash in for quarters. Other than that it was fine.
Well, I fell ill shortly after arriving. The staff made sure I was well taken care of. Called an EMT and I left by ambulance. Cant thank them enough
Thursday I went down to front desk and said my mold in my shower would be cleaned and 3 days later its still not cleaned Ive stayed at breakers resort several times and this will be my last!! Very unsatisfied Ive payed over 1000.00 for 3 rooms and my husband is allergic to mold and my special needs 2 year old was in the room also
I was on the 5th floor and had a great view I wish it had been warmer but I cant control the weather
Nice resort and clean. Rooms could be updated. They are doing construction next door and adding another Breakers, but are not bothering current resort. Would definitely recommend staying here. Pools and water slides are great. Parking deck is across the street and has plenty of parking.
All tho we wasnt satisfied with the rooms itself. However Maria provided excellent customer service. She was very understanding and professional. The only thing this resort missing is updated rooms because the location & staff are awesome.
Perfect resort for us and our five young children. Its great to be able to get out of the sun and off the beach for a few minutes every now and then, and go in their unique pool set-up. Anything we needed was promptly addressed with pleasant staff. Will be staying here from now on.
We had good ocean front room and it was great. Swimming pools can be maintained better. Saw few insects. Otherwise good. I was recommended to book directly on their website. I booked oceanfront on priceline but I was told it is not. I finally got what I booked but not sure if it is a tactic to fill non ocean front first.
We had a wonderful experience! We stayed in a queen suite, ocean view room in the Paradise tower. Room was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly. The Paradise tower had two different kiddie pools (one with a playground), a lazy river, a hot tub, and a “regular” swimming pool. Walk-out onto the beach. Giant “yard games” too, like chess, shuffle board, and corn hole toss.
Great place to stay! Great amenities very clean!
Nasty place. People not wearing mask, people smoking by the pool, drinking beer, trash on the floor. Never coming back! Regret staying here. Peope screaming on the hallway and my kids keeo waking up. Not Security at all... alarms go on easily by using the microwave, elevator are super dirty! No sponge or paper towels in the kitchen. Ill be postíng pictures
Didnt know what we were getting into. Everyone hears and reads a bunch of stuff but me personally i would pick this place again. Very clean spacious great view and easy to walk to anythinf
Room smelled like the previous guests had been smoking in it and the description says 2 queen beds but it was definitely 2 full beds. Other than that we had a great stay and the staff was great and very helpful.
Awesome and Nice experience in staying at Sailfish oceanfront room for 2 nights.Hannah working in check-in counter is very kind, polite, helpful and clearly explained the parking lots & access to paradise swimming pool.
I loved it. The location the rooms were very nice and clean .The staff were so polite and friendly I will be back.
A quick little getaway turn into a disaster from hell. I will never recommend this place to anyone!!!! I seen pictures online that look amazing just to get there and we stayed in something like a motel. It was the most disgusting thing I have ever stayed in. My family and I booked a 2Bdroom/2bath oceanfront in which we stayed but it was one of their much older part of the resort (SAILFISH)...from bugs to stains on the couch and sheetz to the water completely shutting off in the middle of my shower! I spent the next day looking for a more comfortable room for my family and I ....a whole day wasted!Do Not Book This Place! When I figure out how to upload pictures I will definitely do so!
The room of course has everything we need. Although once we pulled up to the building we had to hurry up and try to get all our stuff together. No one was around to let us know they had a cart that we could use to bring our things to our room. Then once we went to our room it had a very strong musty smell to it. It does look very nice online and Looked to be kid friendly which was what I was looking for. We stayed at the Paradise resort. My husband is a military vet and said this is the worst place he has ever stayed at and Im no longer allowed to book our trips.
I had the pleasure of staying here while visiting Myrtle Beach during mid July. This is a huge resort with more than 3 buildings. The resort is located North Ocean Blvd on the beach side. If you are a coffee drinker like me, you will be pleased to know there’s a Starbucks across the street. The resort is conveniently placed by cool restaurants, shopping, and liquor stores. The boardwalk is about a 10 minute walk away.We booked a 3 bedroom (sleeps 16) for the week. The rooms are spacious with 2 full size beds in each room. Kitchen itself is kind of small but big enough for maybe 3 people in the kitchen at a time. Some fixtures in our room seemed vintage. By vintage, I mean OLD. The door knob to our room was broken. It wasn’t even attached to the door. The view from our balcony was beautiful. We woke up to sunrises on the beach.I enjoyed the lazy river that this place offers. The bar over looks the lazy river so you can keep eyes on your little one while getting drinks.
Too noisy in the hallways at night. It was too many kids running up and down the hallway. We stayed a week and every night was the same way.
Excellent stay. The staff was very friendly and we had a decent view of the ocean. The rooms were nice and clean. After having a very bad experience at a different hotel, this hotel was the saving Grace. Will definitely stay here again if I choose to go back to Myrtle Beach.
Positive: Location was amazing and truly enjoyed the space we had. It was very updated, clean and functional for 4 adults
I was very impressed with the Breakers Resort. Having never been to Myrtle Beach, I could not have been happier with the condo we rented at this Resort. Located in North Myrtle Beach, I think this hotel is in the perfect location. It’s surrounded by tons of nice restaurants and stores. You are within walking distance of anything and everything you could possibly need. We walked to the boardwalk almost every day.The Resort itself is so family friendly. The staff was great and we spent lots of time in the pools, hot tubs, and lazy river. Honestly you could never leave the hotel and have a wonderful time. Not to mention you have the ocean and beach right in your backyard. If I am ever to come back to Myrtle Beach, I won’t ever think of staying anywhere other than the Breakers Resort.
The Paradise building at the Breakers is a nice. It has the kids pool, and is also right across the street from the parking d3ck, breakfast restaurant, Starbucks, Ben & Jerrys, and a few other places. Nice location and has a indoor water park.
First we had to be removed to another room. Dirty and smelled like pot. Then we had our car broken into last night. Of course Breakers no help what so ever. Be care there is all I can say. Diffently not like how it has been in the past.
The room is great But I never come back cause of the cars mustangs doing there engine loud. Its un call for really its 10 pm I think the cops should do something about them we are on vacation last thing i wanna hear is a dam loud car .. I cant sleep omg.we been on the road since 2 am to get here . never again.
Customer service was outstanding! Liz at the desk was amazing! Our stay was nice. The view was beautiful but the rooms are very small but clean.
We really enjoyed our 5 night stay at the Breakers with two toddlers! We stayed in the Palms Building, the remodeled one and it was amazing! Room inside was beautiful, clean, decorated and furnished tastefully! Felt like we were staying at a high end resort. The grounds at the resort were beautiful as well! Nice pools! The only thing we were upset about is that the children’s pool was not heated and the slides were closed. But we stayed in October so I’m assuming it’s because of the off season. Otherwise we loved it and will definitely be staying here every time we visit Myrtle Beach!
I love the view of the ocean, its walking distance to the Blvd and the kids have the greatest time
Great place for the family, tons to do for the little ones, while adults have their own time as well while having your children in eye distance. Property is right against beach no more then 30 seconds from floor to shore depending on what level your own. Great location, lots of shopping plazas, jump on this hotel!
The Breakers resort is in a good location on the beach corridor. The room was clean and well put together. We were there because the Breakers resort was a sponsor hotel for the Myrtle Beach marathon. Unfortunately they didn’t have much information about the event. It would have been nice if they were informed. They are currently under construction. We had a view of a crane and an in process demolition of the building next store. We couldn’t use the balcony while the crane was in action because, the wind would blow the debris dust in our direction. Overall it was a good stay.
The room we stayed in was overdue for a makeover as seen in the photos. Unfortunately, we were stuck between 2 construction sites- a demolition job being performed to the north and balcony maintenance at the resort to the south. Just bad luck I guess, and likely if we come back next year it wouldn’t be an issue. Maintenance and upgrades need to be done sometime. The things we didn’t like were the paper thin walls! I mean really thin. It didn’t help that the occupants next door were loud talkers and always arguing and swearing. Also, there’s no dishwasher or in room laundry facilities- something other resorts offer at the same price point. Overall, we will not be returning. We thought we’d try something different this time and we’re disappointed. Next year, back to our regular resort that we’ve been going to the last 6 years.
Positive: Several pools to use and location Negative: Two of the front desk staff made me feel as though I was a bother trying to check in and check out. A third was awesome and made me feel as though the resort was happy I was a guest
Fantastic experience. Great water slides! Great access to the beach and pool. Rooms are huge.
Rooms are fantastic, Clean friendly staff the views are the best. Will definitely be back alot more !!
Giving these guys a 4 star. Very friendly staff very accommodating. However we were in the paradise building lots of space in our room very large balcony. There were burn marks all in the carpet from ppl smoking in them, the curtains were full of mildew on the back side. The green rug on the balcony also needs to either be removed entirely or replace it was pretty disgusting. Ocean front is no place for rugs on a balcony because of all the moisture. The photos on the website are very out of date. Other than that we were very happy with our stay
Big and Beautiful...3 bd 2 bath..Amazing view of the beach...ocean view..
The rooms are nice and has the most buildings Ive see and 11:52 Thursday 2020 September there was some fireworks going on the also have great view great emmploys great pools and the best thing is there is a lot of great restaurant.
I thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Breakers! It was clean and the suite was everything I needed. The only thing I would change is the mattresses could be replaced for better ones for more restful sleep
So far so good! Great bartender at the Rusty Reel Bar and grill today ( Sunday)
Im giving a review on the lying the hotel does..they advertise the new one building online but dont tell you they will probably put you in the old. Our room and the hallway smells like stale water. On top of this, the quality of guests that stay here are garbage. People smoking weed in the rooms and it gets in your room. Id recommend a condo or something if staying in myrtle Beach.
We love Breakers. Nice friendly staff
Phenomenal resort with great amenities and service. Stayed in a suite with the balcony overlooking the beach, and had an incredible view. Good food across the street and very central location on the beach.
The room we stayed in looked very modern. It was clean and comfortable. We felt right at home. It was really great to have access to the whole resort.Indoor pool, outdoor pool, lots of hot tubs, a lazy river, indoor kiddie pool, outdoor pirate ship water slide kiddie pool, huge separate water slides not connected to pools, large sunbathing area, and most importantly beach access with showers. The parking is a bit of a walk, but they do offer valet services. The front desk staff is friendly and efficient, plus there is a separate concierge desk. There are several restaurants in walking distance and its close to many attractions. Very family friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
Love it. I wanted to upgrade my room to the sweet, without any issues it was done. Very helpful staff.
Great location. Easy access to dining, shopping, beach, and pools.
We used to stay here regularly about 3 years ago, and always had the best experience. We shifted to a more luxury place because the kids were growing up. We visited again on the spur of the moment and it was dirty, trashy now. Mold and mildew smell in the room... Couldnt sleep and we left first thing in the morning. Last time for us... And we used to stay here once every other month. What a shame.
Easy check in. We werent able to get an ocean view room and stayed at the dunes..balcony faces the main strip. Clean rooms..easy access to water slides..pools..and breakfast.
Positive: The stay was wonderful!! It has many buildings you can enjoy different type of pool experiences. The rooms are beautiful and can accommodate a entire family. Do bring groceries, you can cook!! Yes made breakfast and hit the beach!! A place to bring the fa Negative: Not at all. One of the better experience.
Positive: The location is perfect. The water slides and multiple pools are very convenient. Negative: The construction right outside of our balcony that was not mentioned on the hotels website.
Very nice. Great rooms gorgeous views.
Pretty decent hotel. The room i had was pretty big and nicely cleaned and the pools are enjoyable especially when the dj is there. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel, and id definitely come back again.
My husband and I decided on a last minute overnight trip to Myrtle Beach. Harry at the front desk wad extremely helpful with getting us a room and even upgraded us to the top floor with a beach view. He got us checked in quickly and was very helpful and professional. The only reason I give 4 stars was because after checking in you are automatically sent to a separate desk next to the main counter where you are expected to join the hotel rewards program. Upon not wanting to join at that exact moment (we were parked in metered parking) the staff kind of pressures you to join. I understand being commission based- Im in a similar field. But if a guest says they need to think about it more than 2 times, I would just drop it. If you join the program great! If not, then I dont see it as a big deal. Its just kind of annoying to have someone continuously try to get you to sign up for something that you want to think over.
We were at the Dunes because of late booking. The dunes are like a motel but have a great view of the strip. And the pool in front of it was small. But it did the trick as we only used the room to sleep. The rest of the time at murrells inlet. But not bad for the price.
