Awesome resort. Friendly staff. Nice units with everything you need. Large bedrooms. Several pools and lazy rivers. Gabe room, gym, indoor and outdoor games. Easy walking to everything. This was our first visit here. We will return.

My family and I have stayed at this resort over the past 10+ years and cant stress enough how family friendly and home away from home this resort makes you feel. During the winter, the fireplace in the resorts are amazing and relaxing. The resort is so nice that we have to make ourselves leave to enjoy the area attractions. The staff is super friendly and professional. You can take comfort knowing that you will feel protected during covid because the resort is clean and the property is taking our protection very seriously. This resort is a must stay on your trip to Myrtle Beach.

We have such great and sweet family time when we come here! My daughter always makes a friend at the pools or beach. Talking about the pools, they have 2 hot tubs, 2 great lazy rivers and some great slides and pools. Definitely recommend!

Loved this getaway because we were able to relax in the hot tub and pool. Then we opened the gate and walked on to the beach, so easy and nice. Had a drink with a nice lunch at the indoor bar. Very nice fire pit for the evening.

My first time here and I love it. Will come back again. The rooms are very nice and comfy. Even tho I am here for my birthday and I got 2 rooms and 2 baths and I couldnt cancel so I kept it. None of my friends wanted to come. But I love love this place. Telling my family about this. You got 10 stars from me.

This is a great facility. Very nice units that come well stocked, but bring your own coffee filters and coffee. Everything works and its clean. The grounds are taken care of and the pool areas are nice. The beach is a short walk away and they have a nice beach facility there with a pool, lounge area, bathrooms and rest area while at the beach. A really nice touch. All the things you could want on a beach with Damons next door if you want a drink. Our stay was free 4 days and 3 nights for a time share presentation. This time share routine was really nice. Not too pushy or aggressive. They asked the right questions to know we were not interested in getting a time share and didnt push like most do. They did give us the whole spiel though and then thanked us for coming to learn about it. Not at all like the bad reviews had prepared us to expect. These H. I. Club Vacations are very nice and I would seek them out at places we visit. We already own time shares and wouldnt get more, but this system may have some good options for the right people. Its hard to endorse time shares, having been burnt with in the past, but IHG seems to have some better options knowing what people really need and want in resort locations for families that are traveling on the road.

Very covid safe and aware. Awesome staff. Debbie was able to get us into adjacent condo when we extended. Beach short distance away. The young walked. We drove (in our late 70s). On the beach everyone distanced. Very close to state park and you can walk on an almost flat beach beside the ocean without any construction. Water is clear.

We have been looking forward to this vacation, as it may very well be the last with all our kids. My disappointment isnt something that could have been changed by Holiday Inn. We still had a great time and would definitely come back. The beach is/at or over 1 block from the Club. Nice pool and lazy river for the kids and the wife and I had a good time at the bar. The employees were very friendly and felt very genuine. Property is close to the grocery store and a couple other necessary stops, like for ice cream.

A great spot to vacation. Great pool with lazy river and kids play space. Super close to the beach with shuttle. Lots of small pool options. Poolside bar. Could definitely see the pool being crowded during high season. Our bathroom has some mold growing but overall the condos are nice. Older appliances and washer/dryer is tiny. But it works!

This is a great resort. Probably small by Myrtle Beach standards but just right as far as I am oncerned. Great pools..4 in all. Access to beach by shuttle so no parking problems. I have been a member of Holiday Inn club for 6 years and have visited 6 different resorts. This one rates right up there with Orange Lake. I will make a point to spend more time here on my next visit.

Our family couldnt get away until after work Thursday, so our arrival was late that night. The staff was cheerful and ready for us with clear instructions to our rooms, what the weather forecast was, and what the next mornings programs would be.Our rooms were spacious and clean with the luxury of a screened porch. The activities were set-up so social distancing could work and we felt safe. Thank you for a good time!

I was welcomed by a friendly registration staff who made sure everything was as smooth as could be. The grounds, to include pools were very well kept and clean. My room was well appointed and clean. I haven’t found a negative thing about the resort yet. I would recommend it.

Great place to visit and relax. If you re not a timeshare owner they wont bug you to listen for 1 1/2 hrs or more hours on the spiel to buy more points or upgrade your time share! Worst than car dealerships. Once the 2 hrs of NO I DONT WANT!! Was done. We finally got to enjoy and relax for the day we had left. We stayed at this property as hotel guests using points, not as owners of the timeshare. If you’re not already an owner in the timeshare, expect to get the hard sell about attending a timeshare presentation at check-in and at least once more via phone call to your room. I expect a basic room when using points at any hotel but the room we were given was dated and a bit rundown. It was clean enough and I appreciate the steps IHG has taken to protect us against COVID-19 but the overall condition of the room was subpar, especially for such an expensive resort. The carpet and countertops looked old, the mini fridge was old and noisy, the TV was very small. I can get better rooms at a basic airport hotel. The pools, while large, also seemed neglected. Lots of cracks in the cement and missing tiles on the side of the pool. The pool bar was overpriced. The resort is not right on the ocean, so there’s a 5-minute walk or short shuttle ride to the beach. That can be a pain when you’re carrying umbrellas and chairs and towels and kids. Some of the amenities are currently shut down or restricted due to COVID. One of the housekeepers tried to walk into our room unannounced because they thought it was the room next door. No knock, nothing. Just tried to come in. The only thing that stopped them was the bar we had on the door from the inside. None of these things by themselves are deal-killers, but it all adds up, especially when your plopping down a lot of money for a room or timeshare, or points for what you think is a nice property. While we still had a good time on our trip, overall I was disappointed and we won’t be returning to this property.

This is a very nice property with lots of amenities. It is a bit pricey. The location is excellent especially if you want to be out of the chaos and traffic in Myrtle Beach. However, it is only a short drive to restaurants and shopping. Villas are modern and well equipped. Shuttle from Villas to beach is also nice. It is not a long walk to the beach, but if you have kids and lots to carry, the ride is nice.

Club vacation is definitely worth it... This is the 3 property weve stayed at and we had a wonderful time... Theres 4 pools 2 lazy rivers the main pool at the club house is indoor/outdoor theres a workout room and arcade.. shuffle board outside and basketball court. They have a 5th pool at the beach house located across the street where theres beach access the shuttle runs back and forth till 6pm. They have a market place where you can get coffee and snack food as well as some merchandise. Right off property is Jurassic mini golf and the Waffle House. The down side is its at the end of the run for the airport and the helicopter tourist attraction as helicopters taking off constantly so there noise almost all day but once you get use to it you barely hear it . The accommodations are wonderful the units are huge and come with everything you need the main bath has a jacuzzi tub. Some of the stuff can be a little run down for instance the iron left some black marks on my clothes but I was able to get it off other then that we loved it

The place was lovely wonderful amenities. Horrible customer service, very uncomfortable beds; I cant believe for $115.00 a night me not my husband was able to rest.Management was a whole embrassment.After hearing me complain about my stay came out her office, looks at me over the shoulder of the front desk representative and kept walking...I needed a vacation from my vacation after dealing with reservations, customer relations, hospitality, and the 5 hour misleading timeshare presentation.Yelp, shall never see this place again!

Rooms quality has declined. After 6 stays over six year I encountered a shabby room however, was allowed to moved to a much better room.

Just went gu or timeshare presentation but all the staff had really welcoming attitudes and they were GREAT!!! I just loved the staff. Received tour of premises and it was gorgeous! I will come back to stay at this property!!!

Best place to stay alone or with your family. Everything that you will need is within the facinity of the club accommodations. This is better than a hotel by far!

Some of the areas in room need updating. Room is small for a one ️ The employees were helpful. Pools are nice but its far from attractions. They should shuttle guest. Room is small for a four bedroom.

Ugly decorations and no consistent color palate, it hurts my eyes. They lied about having a bed for each of us (5). Gross corners with mold and really outdated kitchen hardware (microwave, oven, etc) no hand soap. Old yellow outlets and light switches, and they are the kind of outlets where the plug just slides out. I didnt remember this place being as nightmarish as it was.Edit: Im sorry if it came out mean, I was just trying to give some constructive criticism but my anger got the best of me.

Great location. On the South end of South myrtle beach. No crowd, no hassles. Short walk to the beach.

I would probably give this a 4.5 out of 5 stars. We arent owners (yet) but this is a nice place with a great location; walk or take a shuttle to the beach. Staff was very friendly and accommodating Groceries and restaraunts are a short distance away. The grounds were well kept, nice basketball court and sidewalks to get around the site. Mini golf course attached and more. Very close to MB State Park which has a lot of beach access and hiking trails, picnic areas, etcNow the missing hall of a star: the buildings are several years old and they have tried to keep them up to date and clean, but both toilets were aggravating. You had to hold the handle down a full second to flush paper for either toilet. One would get stuck with the water running. The bathroom mirrors were losing the backing so they were looking bad. The door to the trash chute, the patio door and it seems some other doors were hard to open/operate; my 11 year old could do it with effort, but if your hands were full you would struggle. The hot tub/whirlpool tub had lint and hair come out when it came on.So, that is my list of first world problems.

We were very pleased with this facility, amenities, hospitality and the service. Two separate pool areas. Smaller pool and lazy river behind registration and building A and B. The much larger pool with Captain Cliffs Lagoon Bar, lazy river, splash pad and water slide is at building C, D, E, F, G, H and J. Short walk across building A. If you walk directly east from building E and cross South Ocean Blvd., private entrance for members to the Oceanfront Breezes Beach Club. The buildings are well maintained considering Building A is over 14 years old. The people that work here are passionate with their jobs. Noel completed our registration. She was very enthusiastic, friendly and helpful, always smiling.

Beautiful place, with are for kids not just adults, the pools are for adults is a dream with lazy river for the families. The rooms are a just an apartment with washer and dryer and even a cozy fireplace.

This whole company is horrible. We were spoken to for 8hrs straight and swindled into buying a timeshare. We were with Ive1 timeshare and the company doesnt allow it for any reason unless you sell it. I would strongly advise to never ever enter this hotel chain and especially never let them tell you that you need to attend their timeshare presentation. Such unprofessionalissm all around.1 This is one of the biggest regrets Ive ever had and now have to live with it and pay thousands for years or try and sell to some idiot like we were.

For the price It was ok. To be a resort it was clean. Good shuttle service to the beach. Time share was extremely pushy. Hotel staff was great!!! Wish I would have been treated more like a spire member. But, I have been spoiled by that and come to expect it. Hotel overall is a good family friendly place

My wife fell in the shower the day we were leaving. We reported it as we checked out and filled out the paperwork HICVSBR asked us to do. There has been NO FOLLOW UP by HICVSBR what so ever. This was are second trip to this resort in less than sixty days. It is a nice resort and makes it easy to enjoy Myrtle Beach. I am upset with upper management lack of response, and would like to know what steps they are doing to reduce this type of accident in the furture for older adults.

My family and I had a great time at this resort. The villas are very nice and clean and the location is perfect. Be aware that it is not right in front of the beach, but it’s very close. The only complain Inhave is that the water slides were closed due to COVID and I wasn’t told that prior to my reservation. But besides that everything was wonderful.

This was the second time we’ve stayed in this location and both times were clean, great customer service, not many issues at all. However, this time we went to the timeshare presentation and I was HIGHLY upset with it. We were told it was JUST a presentation and in the end we spent more time than we were told, they weren’t going to offer us the money that was promised for going if I didn’t say something, and we were HIGHLY BADGERED Into feeling like we needed to sign up and were made to feel stupid with all the times I told them at this time in my life I didn’t feel comfortable with this. They even brought out a second salesperson who really made us uncomfortable and in the end made me feel like we wasted his time and not my own. It was so unprofessional and I’ve never witnessed or been a part of something like that. It was so ridiculous and if I would’ve known what was going to take place, I would’ve never gone. Because if this, I won’t be back to a vacation resort since this is the way they treat people. Especially in these times when nothing is guaranteed. We talked to other people and they said they didn’t get the same experience as we did, that they didn’t feel pressured or badgered. I really was very uncomfortable

We thoroughly enjoyed the resort. The condo was great, and we had space to spread out. Really enjoyed having a kitchen where we could eat lunch and breakfast. It saved money, and we went out for dinners in town. The pools were great as well. Three different areas with pools, so make sure you check them all out. Went over a holiday weekend, but it never seemed too crowded, and we avoided the touristy spots, so it seemed like a getaway vs the madness of what this town can be like.

The room was nasty, dishes were dirty, tub dirty my wife had to clean the kitchen and bathroom before we could stay.Since we paid with points the facility wont care that we had issues with the room because we didnt pay cash.Reasons to not own a time share....

We had been looking forward to our trip for a year. Even more so after Covid started! It was everything we hoped for. Clean comfortable room. Fast room service. The pools were great. The kids had a blast in the splash park and at he playground. There were plenty of things to do right around the resort and the beach was right across the street. I would definitely recommend this resort!

So if a rude staff and 2.5 hour delayed check in to a not clean room is your thing then by all means start your vacation here. Being by the water its hard to fight rust and I get it but then get dark fixtures. 32 inch TVs scream flagship and counting how many tiles have fallen off the pool and lazy river is a great afternoon activity. The sales pitch is so painful and aggressive..Lifeguards by the slide are nice and attentive and professional.. grounds people do an outstanding job keeping the place manicured and clean.

I arrived at 5 am the guard helped me with getting my room key etc once I got to my room I went to close the curtains and there were opened un drank soda cans in the windowsill. I cleaned that up then started getting ready for bed brushed my teeth just to find hair in the sink that wasn’t mine . Shower door was very squeaky and loud . Wasn’t much water pressure in the shower . I went to check in at 8 am after the office open I told the girl behind the desk about the issues with the room and all she said was I’m sorry and continue to work on my checking and giving me keys and a parking pass . I even went as far as to send an email and got nothing in return from that either .. very dissatisfied.

The attention to detail is absolute perfection!

Staff is friendly and welcoming. Even had someone offer to help take my luggage in when he saw me struggle with an unruly suitcase. Everything was in order and very clean. And QUIET, QUIET, QUIET!! We have stayed her before and now after this visit, we will certainly be staying again during the warmer months to use up all the great outdoor amenities.

When we arrived On a Monday to check in, it appeared fast and easy, however one of the rooms was not ready. They said they would call me when it was. I waited an hour and half after 4pm check in and no one had called. I called and they said “let us check, I will call you back” still no call back. I checked the room and saw that the seal to indicate that the room was clean was present. I entered the room and called the front desk to let them know I was in, they were oblivious to the fact that I had to wait until after 5:45 to check in. They didn’t care that I had driven 12 hours to get there and waited to check in. The one bedroom was disgusting, on the wall and baseboard was a brown sticky Substance splattered all over. The mattress pad and sheets placed on the bed were to small and the end curled up so mattress was exposed. The couch bed was worse, there was hair, beads, string, dust and a newspaper when I pulled the bed out. The mattress was stained. There was no blanket with the sheets and pillows. This is not what I expected from IHG vacation club.The next day they asked me to attend a meeting to give me updates on the ownership of my “time share”. It was only supposed to last 60 minutes. It lasted 2 hours and 45 minutes, there were no updates only that they wanted me to purchase the Premier package? So more promises about how great being an owner is with a new purchase of 126.000. This was a slap in the face, so what I purchased in 2018 was just the basics. With Premier I would get special treatment. How about treat all of the owners with same respect regardless of how small or big our purchase was.

Very fun place with so much pool square footage that the kids never would get bored. Spring Break is not the best time to come because it is still too cold to swim in the outdoor pool and the lazy river and slides are not open yet. But when it does warm up it will be so fun.

First time staying at South Beach. Just a quick stopover on our way home from a week at Orange Lake. Rooms were very nice. We had a single which was part of a lockout. As a result, you could hear the other unit through the door. 4 stars because there was more noise than I expected and there was a disconnect when we arranged for our owners update. All were resolved quickly. We were also missing a frying pan but they promptly replaced It. It was cold this weekend so the gas fireplace was a nice addition. Too cold to really enjoy any water. I did like the dedicated clubhouse on the beach. This would be a great place in the summer if just for the bathrooms next to the beach. I liked the rocking chairs on the 3rd story deck overlooking the pool and beach. In the summer this would be a great place with all the swimming pools and lazy rivers. As we walked around we kept finding more pools. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Wonderful experience. E-Z Check In Incredible unit. Great views. Especially LOVED the gas fireplace. Attention to detail was amazing from all the staff. Very helpful on finding dining, groceries nearby. Grab-and -go Marketplace on site was very convenient. They have billiards, table tennis, foosball, shuffleboard, pool volleyball, video game room, computers, and a top of the line sand volleyball area. 4 outdoor pools, many hot tubs, 2 lazy rivers, and heated indoor/outdoor pool. Renovating site one building at a time in the off season. New lazy river and waterslides added last summer. Enormous kiddie pool/play area with kiddie waterslides with underwater mats for a soft landing. The toddlers using it were laughing and squealing with delight! Dont miss the saunas, heavenly....I cant wait for another opportunity to go back. But be warned, BOOK EARLY, they are 90 to 95% full during spring break and the summer. About 275 one, two, three, and four bedroom units over 10 buildings yet they never make you feel crowded or overlooked. Best time Ive had in years.

My overall stay here was amazing. These past few months have been hard on our family and it felt good to see my husband relaxed and the kids smiling. My four year old thought we were in another country he was so amazed lol. So much to do here so many attractions near the villas and the beach is in walking distance We are already planning next year trip!

It was the best, the room was so big and clean and it smelled good we could go to the beach and pool, it was near and the restaurants were also near, the best expirence i have ever had,defenetly going back next summer with my family

The staff at the front desk were awesome. We made them aware of some issues and they handled it quickly. The 1 bedroom villa was totally awesome. It is well worth the price. I would recommend it.

Good beach place but definitely lacking in the hot tip department. Only 2 on at the entire resort and they are 50 feet from each other. They don’t even have a hot tub near the signature rooms or at the beach side pool.

I am not an owner and was not treated well after the time share presentation and my refusal to buy but my review is not about that. The resort is great! It is clean, fun, and very accommodating. We enjoyed late night swims, short shuttle to the beach, and daily activities. My 5 year old tried to refuse to leave.

Rooms are amazing and even with the covid pool was fun. Staff was exceptionally friendly and the drinks were made great.

It used to be better, Ive been coming here since I was a kid and it has changed ownership several times since then. They are constantly bothering you about attending an owners update, where they try to convince you to upgrade your package or buy another time share for an hour, even if you repeatedly tell them you are not interested. It also used to have a giant, 50 person hot tub that they removed and replaced with a water park-esque area which is not as enjoyable unless you are a child. Weve had a few problems with cockroaches and noisy neighbors, but youll find noisy neighbors everywhere.

Always better than I expect. The signature units are new and nice.

As an owner at this resort, it was nice to see all the updates and upgrades since our last visit.

Very nice rooms, clean comfy, all appliances u can think of, plenty pools!! Lazy river. Hot tub had lil too much chlorine, eyes were burning. Basketball courts!! Property 1 block from ocean!! 1 negative, we called for a late check out the night b4 we left. Late check out was 12 noon, at 11:35 the cleaning lady came, we told her we were coming out soon.......she stayed camped out at our door with her cart til we left........

Great resort even though its bit oceanfront there is a path with a 5 minute walk to the beach with a pool and hot tub. The staff are super friendly and the rooms are fantastic. Feels like youre living in your own beach condo.

This was a very good stay. Nice for familys. The grounds and property were well kept. Everyone seemed nice. Great location thats not crowded. Its very calming. Short walk or shuttle bus ride to the beach across the street. Near the luxurious Market Commons Shopping area.

Its nice. Lots of indoor and outdoor pool. Free (not really, its in the price of the room) breakfast. The place is clean. They have roving security to keep out the riff-raff. Its got a lot of older couples this time of year, fine with me, Im old. The staff is very accommodating. I have to go outside to smoke, but Im used to that since you have to exit aircraft to smoke......thats really rough.Downside, no bar or restaurant on the property. You have to walk 2 blocks to get to something other then a waffle house.

Very nice resort, wish par 3 golf course was open. Staff was nice but I wasnt interested in taking a sales tour so I cant offer any information about that. Much better than most hotels.

Staff: quick, respectful, and competent. Only complaint here is the lifeguards at the pool, either extremely strict or on their phones or horsing around with the other lifeguards. Housing and location: conveniently close to everything including the beach, only problem is you have to cross a busy road. There is also a nice beach front building for the holiday in club guests to get out of the sun in. Normal suite rooms with dining and bathroom stuff. Only complaint in this aspect is the smoke alarm kept beeping even after a staff member changed the battery and washer backed up. Activities: Lots to do in the area. Several pools allow for the guests to spread out. The lazy rivers are great and the water slides are amazing for the kids. There are DJs occasionally and movies at the pool area. Gym is extremely small :/ all in all, nice place to stay, would recommend.

Hi, we stayed for a week at the resort with our twin 9 year old boys. They loved the pool(s), water slide, lazy river, ping pong tables and pool table in the club house. As parents, we liked the in room washer/dryer, screened in balcony, easy pool access, and nicely decked out bathroom with tub and separate shower. We checked out a movie from the clubhouse to watch one night and had great pizza delivered from Ultimate California Pizza (excellent pizza). We also had a great time at Mount Atlanticus mini golf (we recommend the minitour path). The beach was ok, dont pay for more than one day if you rent an umbrella, unless sitting on the beach is really your thing. And bring water shoes. As for local attractions, we visited the PinBall Museum which was small but fun, an entry fee gets you free play on all the machines, and the owner/operator was nice to talk to. We also went to TopGolf… loved it so much we went twice. There are so many good placed to eat, I cant list them. The hotel staff will be helpful with making reservations if you need them. Overall, a very good trip and well probably visit it again.

Everyone was truely friendly until. As a time share owner my daughter wouldnt sit thru another presentation and they shrugged us off rudely.

Great condos.Rooms are very comfortable and spacious. King beds. Fireplace, fans, full kitchen. Marketplace with food, drinks, beer, and your vacation needs like sunscreen, sunglasses, etc...3 pools with a bar, lazy river and 2 water slides. Basketball court, Volleyball, Kids playground, Fire pits. Overall great experience...Oh, almost forgot, walk a block to the beach, or they have a shuttle. There is also a pool beach side as well. Not much more to ask for really. *****

Staff was very friendly here and it was very clean. We walked out early one morning on our balcony and saw staff hand scrubbing the pool area before it opened. Love the separate beach area they have also. Definitely recommend!!

The walk to the beach is further away than I would have liked. You have to cross a large busy street. Other than that the rooms, pools, and poolside bars are very nice. They have several other family activities too.

Numerous parking spaces. Great location. Resort is clean and good. Has pools and parks in it.

I enjoyed staying at Holiday Inn Club Vacations South Beach Resort. I found it to be a beautiful hotel that exceeded my expectations.
