Beautiful property not on the beach but a 2 minute walk straight down the road from the pool area. Has indoor and outdoor pool. Both with hot tubs, the outside pool over looks the ocean. Really lovely. There are oceanview rooms available but we had a long drive and the room would only be available at 4pm so we took the non facing room available at 8am ( thank you for the early check-in ) Blue green has always been so friendly. Room has a kitchen dining room area ( kitchen is filled stocked with appliances and cricket cups glasses wine glasses even tupperware). Two bedrooms and a sleeper couch, brother and sister didnt want to share the king bed in the second room ( might be able to ask for two smaller ones). Second bath has a bath,aster bath has a gorgeous shower. Loved it. Dishwasher washer dryer some soup salt and pepper and coffee to start you off, pool towels. Awesome experience highly recommend.

Nice, clean, quite, comfortable, beach was in walking distance...I love the Ocean/Beach...and We stayed over 1 extra night since we got rained out 2 days.. It was so peaceful I didnt want to leave...My Daughter is the timeshare member Here!!!

The place is nice and seems clean. I just havent really seen too many folks clean. The room itself is nice just pretty small and only semi private balconies. The view is amazing! The lazy river drags, but there is a pool and hot tub both inside and outside. Just a couple minutes to walk to the beach too! Just know there are 2 sets of elevators so make sure you take the right set.

Loved staying here. We stayed in a three bedroom suite and it was very well stocked kitchen. Great view form two of the bedrooms, huge balcony (where we spent most of the time when in the room)

We stayed ocean view. Nice 2 bedroom with 2 baths. Id give it 5 stars if it was ocean front and a soft bed. But unfortunately the bed was hard and I didnt sleep well.

Just a block off the ocean and the rooms are beautifully decorated. The facility was clean. We experienced a few issues with the maintenence of our room but the staff was quick to address each one to our satisfaction.

The rooms were santized and well kept. I Enjoyed my stay.

It is close to the beach and our room was clean. The problem with The Horizon is you must know with whom you are reserving your room with. I booked from the Horizon website and I had to check in and have all communications with The Grand Resort next door. The problem with this is if your key cards do not work, if you need anything from room service you must contact The Grand. My first morning there-the hairdryer did not work. I called down (by pressing 0 on the phone, however that is not who I needed) and requested a new hair dryer. 3 hours later I did not have a hair dryer because I had not called the right place. Was this told to me in advance? NO. The next day my key card did not work after walking from the beach to my room ( a good uphill 6-7 minute walk), I had to go back down to the next hotel (The Grand)to get my card fixed. Once again very frustrating!! Communication was not very good at all from the beginning! Next if you book your room in advance-lower rates that come closer to your reservation will not be honored! I booked in March- the rates had changed more than 150.00 less prior to my arrival and I called to reserve a new room for my parents and when I did I asked if i could get the lower rate and they told me no. SO in this case this hotel would rather loose a new reservation for over 1200.00 then to honor my request to lower my rate by 150.00 They would have netted 1050.00 just by adjusting my rate, instead I booked my parents right next door for an even better rate. Their staff needs to realize this and be aware of the potential for money lost. A big disappointment for us all when the management realizes this happened. I would not recommend this hotel for booking through The Grand!!!! Do not do it!

One of my favorite Bluegreen Resorts to date! Room was nice and clean and had everything we needed for our week long vacation. Just a minutes walk to the beach which was a little crowded at peak times but not as much as down town MB. Will definently stay here again!

Two of us stayed in a 1-bedroom villa. It was super cute and comfy. Everything was clean and it had all the comforts of home. Great views. The front desk staff was nice. Will definitely return.

Very family oriented, quiet, great central location. Very safe have to use a key card to use elevator. Rooms are nice, clean, spacious, great views.

Weve only stayed at this hotel twice but this second time was the best experience. Last time me and some of my family stayed on the Penthouse level (level 9) but this time we stayed on level 3. And surprisingly this room was bigger than the penthouse room. Overall this was a great stay and we had no problems.

Absolutely loved this place! Close to the beach and close to the shops within the city! Super clean and quiet. I will definitely be coming back here again!

Great resort, everything was nearly perfect. Absolutely incredible location with only steps to the beach and a short walk to many restaurants.Only taking away one star because the outdoor pool and hot tub were both not working during out stay, and they like to push the timeshare purchase on you. While Im sure it is well received by some, after a very full day of travel I do not want to be up sold before I even get into my room.

The stay was overall a good experience and the staff was friendly. The only things I would change: provide enough trash bags, towels and detergent for the week without having to call the front desk. Also, include a broom & dustpan in the condo to sweep up sand.

My husband and I always love coming to Horizon 77.

Nice location. Nice, clean place. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Felt like a very safe and family friendly atmosphere. Having children thats a huge plus. A short walk to the beach. You can see the beach from your balcony. We enjoyed the lazy river pool. Outdoor hot tub is tiny. Indoor hot tub was out of order the first few times we came down to use them. A small 1 ft area that goes into the main indoor pool is only area for small children. In regards to the staff, we mostly interacted with the housekeeping staff passing them in the halls and elevators. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. I appreciated the interactions we had with each of the staff. I would highly recommend staying here. It definitely felt like home away from home.

The best Timeshare resort there is Clean and a very good atmosphere.

The balcony was a great plus. The fact that there was cockroaches everywhere and that the ac didn’t work properly offset the nice balcony

This is a beautiful hotel. Lots of things to do. Indoor pools. Heated indoor sauna. Insight parking. And the beach is steps away. I recommend this place for families to vacation at.

This vacation hotel is such a wonderful place to spend time relaxing with friends, family and even the love of your life! The hotel offers free daily activities to do for everyone. 3 types of pool, indoor and outdoor. The lazy pool is my favorite btw! The staff is great and accommodating, with quick response to our minor issue. With so many opportunities and activities to do in the hotel and around this place, there is no doubt were coming back. Were having a blast!

This is a generally amazing hotel, we had no problems on a family vacation and even the views were amazing. The only problem is the layout of the building, it had to have some additions or it was oddly split into three sectors.

It looks recently remodeled. Our view from balcony was amazing. The fact that it has pool, hot tub, and lazy river made it exciting to bring a family to.

Facilities are beautiful and staff is great. Furniture is uncomfortable though because they think hideabed couches are required. Toilet is so low it belongs in preschool. Longer walk to beach than what I would prefer.

I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of this resort and the friendliness of the staff. My only comment is that the checkin process for Bluegreen owners can be a little easier. I wasnt sure where to park for checkin and when I called, the receptionist wasnt sure where to send BG owners. Other than that, everything was wonderful! I will definitely be returning now that I know my way around.

Really nice place this location has awesome views. Its on 77thN so much quieter than the boardwalk area. And just a half block walk to the beach, and no crossing traffic. 3 pools...1 indoor... 1 outdoor...1 lazy.

We stayed here in August 2016. Beautiful, clean, friendly staff, and easily accessible to many of MBs amenities. The outdoor pool is only sunny until early afternoon. If you love to spend a lot of time on the beach, its a bit of a walk especially with kids and all of your stuff. However, the nearby beach does have preset umbrellas/chairs you may rent if you dont want to drag your things down.

Nice it came with a lot with the kitchen space beautiful view depending on what room you get. Right next to the beach, outdoor and indoor pool along with a lazy river, but the pool is only three feet also the gym room was tiny.

Stayed on the 4th floor on Bluegreen Property. Beautiful, quiet, and spacious room that we enjoyed all week! Pools were smaller than other BG resorts but they have so many to choose from it was fine for us. Very short walk to the beach with beautiful family friendly places to take up space relaxing for the day. Parking garage was also nice and kept the vehicles cool. Excellent restaurants within a block or two walk or half mile drive, same for groceries and plenty to do. Property was very clean, well kept, and has friendly staff. Only small things to improve on would be insulation above the indoor pool, needs outdoor shower at beach level, and notification of bike week for memorial day weekend.... not a good time of the year for families, especially for little kids, but as we discovered most of the locals dont like it because of the same reasons we didnt either (not family friendly, loud, late night riding). And we know the resort has no control over the event just included to let other families know it is an annual thing so that they can plan accordingly. Beach doesnt allow for anything but umbrellas for sunshade. But otherwise... we will definitely be back to this resort!! Such a great time, thanks!!

Very nice Bluegreen resort.

Horizon at 77th was a pleasant surprise. The one bedroom 2 bath is beautiful and very roomy and comfortable. Full kitchen with stainlesd steel appliances was a nice addition. Indoor and outdoor pools and lazy river were very nice and well maintained.

All in all this place is clean and updated. I just have a few issues with the room. There is some weird shutter window in the master bedroom that faces the hallway that allows continuous light to enter the room. there is no curtain and absolutely no way to obtain complete darkness if thats what you need to sleep. We were also able to smell cigarette smoke only in the master bathroom from the tenants on either side of us or below us. If you hate the smell of cigarettes then youll understand how annoying this was. By the way this is suppose to be a smoke free facility.

I was first like Meh because it seemed to be a bit away from the shore and its not quite facing the ocean but its actually pretty close to the entrance of the dunes. I loved the interior of the rooms! Hardwood floor and nice beachy teal/turquoise theme. I want the furniture lol I had a great view from the balcony too.

I love this hotel and would recommend it to anybody that comes down here

Great place to relax and just enjoy ou t being still and quiet. Convenient location to many of exciting venues, close to everywhere you would want to go.See the ocean through just about any window you look out, convenient to ocean walksand sun bathing.Only aggravation is in the parking area. Not well marked and tight parking areas underground. Office employees nice and helpful.

Despite the front desk clerk, named Latosha being irritable and curt during check-in, the place was terrific! Lovely location, nice, clean and spacious living space. Decent view of the beach. We will definitely return soon, hopefully the middle-aged clerk is not there for our check-in next time... The maintenance guy was awesome! I wish I knew his name. He went the extra-mile to accommodate us with the fire-pit. Horizons is an awesome place. Id give it 5 stars if the clerk wasnt so darn rude to us. We attended a review on the day of check-in. We were advised to try to check into out condo early...or at least be put on the waiting list. Latosha was so rude and irritable. She was sure to repetitively inform us check-in wasnt until 4pm, therefore she couldnt...and wouldnt help us. Also she didnt answer our questions, which were simple..like Do you all do owner-reviews here? And to top it off, when we did check in, she was sure to give us the worst view of the beach as possible. Otherwise our stay was nice.

GREAT LOCATION!! Second away from the beach. This resort is close to EVERYTHING. You name it, its there. The only problem I had was check out time was 11a. The cleaning lady came to the room about 10, then about 10:20 and then said shell sit out outside the door until 11a. Wow!! I was a little annoyed felt rushed. Other then that customer service was great.

Ive stayed here several times before, but this time I was a little disappointed. Our room was smaller than I had expected, but I think it had to do with the location of the room. Ive usually stayed in a unit that was not in the curve of the building. When we checked in, I was pressured to attend a timeshare presentation to update me on reservation changes. Im sure I can figure that out on my own. The first room we were assigned had not been cleaned so we had to go get another room. The second room was just as small because we were just one floor lower in the same room location. The washer didnt work and someone also tried to enter our room late one night. Maybe they were just at the wrong room but if thats the case, the key should not have worked. Thank God we were in the room or else all of our belongings could have been gone. The only reason I didnt give this review a lower score is because Ive stayed here before and everything was perfect. So I wont let one bad experience judge my stay this time.

The room we stayed in was very nice, we had access to 3 balconies, 1 king size bed, 4 queen size beds, and a pull put couch, a full kitchen, and decently spaced living room and 3 and a half baths. We also had our own dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer. We were right across from the pool area, but it wasnt too loud and the sliding doors kept out most of the sound out. The beaches are absolutely littered with broken shells which makes it difficult for young children to walk around on any of it. The showers didnt have the greatest pressure and the beds left much to be desired, but overall a nice room for a relaxing week.

I loved the 4 day stay...there was a wrist band left there from the previous tenant and a rip in the couch where the dining table is. But over all it was a great stay

The staying here was amazing. We had a two bedroom condominium, it had a kitchen with dishes, a living room with a sleeping sofa. It also had a washer and a dryer. It has an indoor pool with warm water. Also a hot tub. The days we stayed the weather was really cold, so it was really convenient the indoor pool and the hot tub. My kids loved it. Everything was really clean and safe.

This resort did not meet our expectations based on what we saw on the website. Horizon at 77th itself is split into two sections, those units owned by bluegreen vacations (timeshares) and the actual hotel, which is itself managed by the grande shores (the hotel next door). What this means is that in order to check in or even visit the front desk one has to exit the hotel and walk around the corner down the street to a different hotel. Horizons has nice pool towels, but only for the bluegreen timeshare owners. So we were denied a large pool towel and provided a small, coarse towel that did not cover our whole body and was not very comfortable to dry off with. Also, the pool/hot tub area smelled very strongly of chlorine and gave us both a headache.The room was lovely, comfortable, and spacious but the bath towels were of the same small size. Also, the maid came while we were in the room but refused to come back later, meaning our room was never serviced in our two night stay. Also, sounds of plumbing from other rooms and construction were audible at different times throughout the day, making it difficult to nap after coming in from the beach.Check-in was slow and we were informed our room wasnt ready yet, despite our arrival at 4:45, well after the posted check-in time of 4:00. They were able to provide us with a other room however after a few minute delay. One thing that we did like is that there is a DVD rental machine (similar to Redbox, but free) available in the lobby, although our DVD player in the bedroom was not set up correctly, requiring some fiddling with the component cables, a technology I havent used since I was back in high school, so Im surprised hotels still use them in the year 2020.Despite all this, the resort was actually quite affordable, comfortable, and conveniently located near the beach and much of what you would want to do should you end up in Myrtle Beach. However I still would not recommend this resort and would suggest looking elsewhere for your stay in Myrtle Beach.

The indoor pool is a great alternative to the snowy beach! All parts of the experience have been wonderful for both parents and kids.

Our stay was great. Staff was great. Cookies were awesome! We needed someplace to stay while we were waiting to check into a hotel where my husbands conference was being held. We were pleasantly surprised. We had a one bedroom with a King size bed and the bathroom had a Jacuzzi style tub. It also had a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. And a view of the beach. I loved it! Just checked into a upscale hotel and believe it or not I want to go back to Horizon. In this hotel we have a view of the parking lot and other hotels. No ocean in sight! We will definitely stay at Horizon again.

The view was amazing. The room service was great. Room cleanliness was poor. Toilet was filthy when we first walked in, chips we under the couch from the previous residents, shower hose was defective and two small holes sprayed up at ceiling which caused the water to drip on my hair from the ceiling and the curtains were dirty in the living room area.

Very noisy rooms and hallways. Cannot smoke on balconies, only one spot in the parking garage that is usually taken up by the cleaning crew. Rooms looked nice and were furnished well. If they installed hinges that didnt let doors slam and had better insulation for noise they would get a better review.

Our condo is very amazing

This by far the best place I have stayed at here in Myrtle beach. It was perfect for me and my 2 kids and husband! Definitely a wonderful stay.

Wonderful loved it. Didnt realize check out was 11. Left at 1030. Cleaning folks were banging down the door lol. Sorry about that. Love BlueGreen!!!
