Nice grotto in the middle of university of Louisville apartments

This place is very peaceful and quiet. Beauty, serenity and humility are an understatement for this garden. Ive lived in the Louisville area all my life and just experienced it for the first time. Wish I would have known about it sooner. If you have yet to experience it, this is a must visit garden for everyone. If you have a loved one which we all do, that you would like to say a prayer for, then this is the place to let your self go and dont forget to bring your candle for lighting.

Very interesting site to see. The fountain was no longer functional but art was everywhere. Review below shows a plaque telling the history but we didnt see it. Must not be located well. Have to add it was about 30 degrees and very windy so we didnt spend a lot of time.

Awesome we visit there and it is so spiritual awesome it is so beautiful you just cant imagine till you see the pictures we would like to see pictures of the old Grotto with the original stained glass if anyone has any pictures post them on this please

1927 grotto to Our Lady of Lourdes at the Former St. Joseph’s Infirmary Site nowadays surrounded by University Park Apartments. Garden is beautifully maintained by local families. Hidden historical gem in Louisville!
