The most beautiful and respectful service.

Had Easter Mass here while visiting family. Their Eucharist is crunchier than my local church. Parking is free on weekends! The interior is very beautiful.

One of the most beautiful churches Ive ever seen. It was a pleasure to attend the 10:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday. A wonderful choir and pleased to meet Farther Richard.

A lovely quiet place in the middle of downtown. I wasnt actually able to go into the cathedral due to a funeral service inside, but theres a lovely quiet alleyway to the right of the cathedral entrance thats a nice place for quiet reflection.

This historic structure has seen multiple renovations. Its current iteration is satisfying. The ceiling of the sanctuary is as appealing and interesting as its architecture. Theres always more here than what first meets the eye.

Absolutely beautiful and historic church. The only reason I dont give it 5* is the acoustics. Really enjoy going there.

Beautiful building and VERY comfortable chairs instead of pews. The Adoration Chapel is spacious and serene. The cantor we had on Sunday was in school for his Masters of Operatic Performance degree. A wonderful experience!

Nice place. Nice people. The Nativity Scene was actually the entire village of Bethlehem! The choir and the musitions were of the quality you would expect at a concert.

The Cathedral of the Assumption is one of the the most beautiful churches in the the Archdiocese of Louisville. Its magnificent grandeur is very impressive immediately upon walking through its doors.

Great church....we had our 150th church anniversary, that started there. St.Augustine African American church, marched from there to the location at 13th and Broadway. Thank the Cathedral for at least letting our ancestors use the space, under the church. .....150 years ago !!!!

Loved the church and the priest just wish they had music music that p the whole church can sing they have songs for the band that weve never heard of they dont advertise the page for the what musicI like singing the mass but it seems like more of the chorus does that it should be for everyone

I was in town from Cleveland, Ohio, and staying at a downtown hotel. This beautiful, welcoming church is within walking distance of most downtown hotels. The homily, one of the best I have ever heard, delivered during the 9:30 Mass on July 8, 2018, was incredibly powerful, inspirational, and served as a reminder to always have hope. I loved the entire experience and would encourage others to take the time to attend Mass at the Cathedral of the Assumption.

On November 30,1991 my husband and I were united in Holy Matrimony. The presiding parish priest was Fr. Ronald Knott. Renovation to the Cathedrals ceiling where gold leaf stars were carefully being added on made our special day a starry starry night.
