Stopped here to grab a few photos of the sunset over the beautiful mountains. Pretty cool spot. It’s primarily used for dog walkers and runners, though has a stunning view. Parking was pretty limited, though it looked like there was more across the main road.I’d consider this a heavily trafficked area —there were way more people than what I enjoy.

Nice and quite very pretty view of the sun rise. This is a park that no dogs are allowed at tho. I guess it has something to do with the water there. I didnt read the song completely but you get the point no dogs allowed quickly.

What a magical place!!! Sunset is a great time to go and see the animals active in their areas. Wind and weather are factors to consider.

Nice 9/10 mile stone path around Harper Lake with amazing views of the mountains! The path connects with a larger trail that go pass the lake. There is a public bathroom site and about 15 parking spots.

Harper Lake is a laid back, less crowded place for a quick walk, jogging or biking. Breathtaking views of rockies from part of the trail around the lake. Dodging goose poop can be a bit challenging at places along the trail :-)

Its a great place to walk around. Its a great place to not take your dog for a walk. Its a terrible place for fishing. Whomever said the lake is stocked with fish are big fat liars. Theres plenty of crawdads but thats about it. And plenty of Satans pets, aka Canadian geese.
