This is my happy place. Its a combination of sky, physical activity, water and architecture. I ALWAYS leave feeling calmer and happier. This is a must-experience for visitors to Louisville. Im grateful to live just down the street.

A local Louisville treasure for appreciating nature while enjoying a measured walk. Water fowl visit the reservoir and Ive seen a hawk perched on a light observing the action. The distinguished out buildings reflected against the beautiful water create an illusion of a scene from Europ6. An indoor natatorium, tennis courts and golf course are adjacent to the reservoir and can be observed while walking along and around the reservoir. One of my favorite spots in Louisville.

Started going to the reservoir years ago to walk while recovering from being hit by a car. Still go all the time, probably today since the temperature should hit 70* ️
