Pretty fun water park. Its not much of a pool since there is hardly anywhere to swim. Good family fun. Has slides and 4 lane racer. An while the kids can play and have fun they have a nice long lazy river for relaxing.
Good place to cool off. If you like listening to life guards constantly blowing their whistles and yelling at kids touching the float line this is the place to be. Not a very big pool for the amount of people that show up.
This place is the greatest. We Love it, its clean, nice polite employees. We Live in Illinois. Worth the trip
This place is so great. The little free zoo near by was icing on the cake. Affordable, fun, safe..we loved it
Fun & clean. Sucks that they don’t have a rain out policy. We were there for 5 minutes and had to leave due to a storm popping up. We were able to return later on, thankfully.
Lots of life guards! Very clean! its front gates are quite a walk from parking though
It is June 26, 2020 at 12:30pm. I live in Indy, so i checked the weather forecast before heading up here. I also checked the website which at this time says they are open. Im sitting here at the park, reading a sign that says closed due to inclement weather. It is 81 degrees, slightly cloudy, no stroms in the forecast. It did rain this morning, but arrived here at 11:30, weather is beautiful. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE!!!
Paid 7 dollars to get in and swam and went on the slides for about 15 minutes.then bought 4 dollars worth of food. Asked twice about my food after they said it would only take 10 minutes. Waited for an hour until the park was about to close then just left without my food. I really wasn’t expecting to get robbed at a water park.
It was a really good place to take the family. It was are 1st time there and we had a blast.
Small, expensive, some very rude teenage staff. Still fun because its the only water park in town.
I spurratically chose to go here, and you know what? Worth the money. The Wednesday I went the price was $4 per adult, $3 per child. Small-ish but not cramped. Had a really good time with my friends. P.S. To the blonde gal trying to fix the green slide, sorry if I, the curly brown haired guy screaming to not step on the ants, was annoying lol. Youre cute
Was there this weekend from Chicago and was only there for 30 minutes and had to leave due to weather and was told to come back and talk to a manager the next day about a day pass. Went back and you guessed it we didnt get a day pass was told you have to pay another 43 dollars to come it
Super fun for ages 1 thru 38:) concession prices are great as well. Bring umbrella or some type of shade.
This is a very nice, little water park. Something for everyone, and fun for all age groups.Brought my whole family here and it was very affordable. Food was pretty good also. The ladies restroom and changing area could be kept up on better, and curtains need fixed or replaced.Overall, I will be back, my family will be back, and I would recommend it.
Cute but need more chairs
I love it but I wish it had more rides
So fun new water slide is incredible. Worth the 3 hr drive round trip. Its 7$ all day. After like 5 pm I think its only 4$. . just call worth going for sure! We loved it and going back. A 3rd time.
Fun! Relaxing. Good place just to unwind. Water is perfect on a hot day. I take my family and we enjoy everything.
My child and I love going here. The prices you can’t beat. We have never had an issue with this place. I would recommend if someone were to go go during the week day. The weekends are usually packed.
Great variety of things yo do. Lots of lifeguards and a new slide that is very fun as well as race slides. Great place to have a good time on a hot day.
Had a relaxing time floating in the lazy river for the majority of my partys time there!
The slides are fun. Ive been going since I was little but today the water was freezing the whole time. The bathrooms are always dirty. The lifeguards at the slides interacted with the kids and were pretty funny. All over a good experience
I had an altercation today with an untrained employee, that got myself and my young daughter separated. When I took my concerns to the manager, the lady there did not seem genuinely concerned about my issue. She had another younger lady following her around and brought her to me later while with my children to let me know how I disrespected their patron. I wanted so bad to educate her, but I let it go. Apparently the lady I had an altercation with was new, and I should cut her some slack she said. Well first day or not the girl was not trained properly and I took it to a manager. The other lady continued to tell me how the rules of the river have been that way for 20 years. This girl wasnt even born 20 years ago. She is assuming my age, and that I am a local and that it should have been common sense. The entrance I used had not been posted. Where I am from, and every pool place I have visted has not had that rule. I ended up having to tell my children we are leaving, could not enjoy our day and I was not going to subject my children to such arrogant, rude behavior. While in the front of the facility while my daughters were still in the changing room they wanted me to come back inside and leave my children unattended to talk. I had asked numerous times for a district managers number. She also accused me of threatening her cause I said I could get snotty back. I was the 1 being disrespected and treated so horribly. All because I tried to do the right thing and take it to a manager. Instead I got back talk and harassed. I could even see her other employees in that little room mimicking me. I told her I didnt find that amusing. At first Sara was doing well handling the situation but she lowered herself and her personal communication skills to try and impress her younger employees. That is not leadership. This company needs to hire a manager with experience. Not once did she correct the passive aggressive insults the other lady was constantly giving. I was almost to the point of calling the police but I did not want to ruin any more of my childrens time. This is also A long story cut short. These children like teens with manager titles need a supervisor on the property. What if my daughter would have drowned cause of their negligence.
A small park but clean and well run. Some large and fast rides for older group and a splash area for younger ones. The lazy River is very nice. Not sure if Id get a whole day in though, a bit small.
The lazy river is my go to favorite, and the addition of the new slides is great (even if the loop is terrifying). Wish they had an actual swimming area bigger than 20×20 but Ill take what I can get.
Perfect size water park for smaller kids. Clean and usually not too crowded.
Great family fun!
Great place for Family fun
Love Tropicanoe Cove! It was great before, but the edition of the two new slides makes it really amazing!! Great zero-entry place for littles, really good slides for bigs. Awesome lazy river from everyone!
We visited with family and literally stayed all day long. This place has something for everyone including the grandma who does swim much. With slides, a lazy river, and kiddy pool, this place is well worth the admission. We were there on a holiday weekend so it was a little busy but you didnt have to wait very long for anything. Concession was decent priced and the bathrooms were pretty clean for the amount of people coming and going.
Really enjoyed going here 2day. We were there 4 3 hrs and enjoyed it and plan 2 return!!
Fpr $7, you cant beat it! A great place to go with their lazy river, several fun slides, and kiddy area. They also have a sand area!
Always packed pain and to many rules. And nothing for in between baby age and 48 inches. But new slide that kool if u dont get stuck in loop though
Well worth the price
Guards are almost to strict, great slides, pool, and lazy river
It has a limited selection of slides but for the price point its pretty good. Can spend a few fun filled hours here
This was absolutely amazing! The Tiki Twist was exactly as fun as it looked(if I did it right! XD) and all of the rides were safe and fun!
My kids absolutely love visiting Tropicanoe Cove! The two new slides make this more like a water park than a public pool.
Clean park and nice variety of activities for the family. Get there early if you want a chair under an umbrella!
The new slides are a great addition. Gave my 5 year old a chance to do something big besides just the pool.
My young children had a blast. And the food cost was wonderful.
I love going here ! The slides are decent for the size of the waterpark. The kids just love it.
Concessions take way too long for no reason. Waited 25 minutes for some cheese fries and the kids were rude. Prices are too high for what they offer.
Only go there for water walking, great exercise and a nice place to be on a warm evening
It was great fun I had a blast and Im 23 but I did go with family so that always makes it funner but a fun place
We have always loved going to the cove but the new slides add a lot of excitement!!
This place is set up very well for small children, they had a blast.
Had fun with my family here yesterday. Clean and friendly.
A great place to I have family time at a reasonable price
Have never been a fan. Need more shaded areas.
New 6 panes may slide and trap door body slide in June 2019. Decent size kid splash pad, plus a lazy river, traditional tube slide, and 2 short quick slides for kids. Plus some lily pad climbers. 7 bucks for swimmers, 2 if you are just watching.
New slides are amazing! Reminds me a bit of the old Big Dipper in Kiddie Land years ago
Im 23 and I still enjoy going here. ITs a great place to just lay out and tan. I also love just laying in the lazy river for a few hours. Great family environment and also close to the zoo, so you can make a day of it.
Gotta try the new Tiki Twist slide. Very cool.
Joey P. Is a great lifeguard there.
Great water park. My grandkids love this place
Place is a very good swimming spot for all ages. It does fill up quickly and not all the guests have manners. But the employees and the place are awesome.
An fun place to take older kids that are good swimmers
Fantastic place, just some trashy people added to the mix.
Great place to cool off and get some sun!
Tiki Twist all DAY
I thoroughly enjoyed the water park. My grandchildren loved the fish slide. However, I was truly disgusted by the cleanliness of the bathroom/shower area. There were 2 toilets that were full of poop and toilet paper. The floors were gross. May I suggest someone come clean up every hour & a half. Thank you.
It is a fun place and something for all ages to do.
Always a great place to go & relax. I do miss the old swimming pool. This pool is more of a sit & relax or float type of place. Theres really not much swimming areas.
So fun the slides and the community is just so great
Very clean, kid friendly and close to home and good price.
Very entertaining for all ages and skill levels.
Great family place.
Great deal of more fun with the new slides, but they most definitely have a few kinks to get worked out with them still. The green vertical slide seems to have issues with individuals getting stuck while going down, mostly bc of the normal human slipping or falling knee jerk reaction to sudden unexpected body movements and individuals uncross their legs which seems to be what sets up their temporarily being stuck in the slide. But if you think about it, when you are walking outside and suddenly find a patch of ice and begin to slip, what do your arms and legs commonly do?? So now imagine trying to slip on that patch of ice but ensure that you dont flail your arms or legs to counter the slipping; a bit challenging right?? So rather their trying to get ppl to keep from uncrossing their arms and legs, they should make a few tweaks to the slide or water flow to prevent ppl getting stuck in the event they may respond by uncrossing their legs or arms as they experience the fun water slide. The cost of snacks and drinks are pretty ridiculous considering its generic, lower quality than that of a concessions stand at a t-ball game. And some of the staff they had working were a bit snooty and short tempered. Otherwise its enjoyable, esp for the very minimal forms of entertainment for youth and adults that Lafayette has available.
To expensive. Good food a small soda is a small cup 8oz McDonalds kid drink is bigger this place.
I love their Summer Water Walks! It is easy, fun, and enjoyable. The staff is also friendly that early in the morning, which is nice.
There is so much to do here and the kids love it
It was great, the lifeguards were nice and the slides are great.
Nice place kids had a great time
Good local family fun. But the new slides almost arent worth it. I wear a necklace that is tied tight around my neck. They asked me to remove ALL bracelets and necklaces but when I told them it was tied on and tight enough it wont go over my head they offered to cut it off not cool. Not worth it
Lazy river is my speed and this one does not disappoint. Nice place more than just a pool
Wow very fun and relaxing and so excited for the new slides to come out. I like the food there but a little expensive but still very fun.
Small water park, good for younger kids. We had a 9, 7, 5, 1, and 9 month old. They all had a good time. Lots of shady spots to sit. You can bring a cooler or there is a snack bar. You could also walk around the free small zoo thats in the same park and make a day of it. 7 dollars to get in. I believe kids were a few bucks less, the babies were free, and my ma who did not get in the water was 2 dollars to watch.
Not understanding why there isnt any real manager or adults on site. A lifeguard verbally attacked my 6 year old. Others around me and myself took it to the front office. Manager said she would talk to her lifeguard on duty. Moments later they asked us to leave, claiming I am a threat to her staff. This highschool click mentality is childish. I would not bring your children here
Very clean and well kept! Excellent place to spend a day with the kiddos. Lots and lots of very attentive life guards on duty.
It was my first time here and I loved it? The slides, lazy river and childrens area were very fun for all three of our kids. The price is terriffic! I cant wait to go back!!
Had a great time on the two New slides
Very nice pool and kids have fun
My kids love it here. I feel okay letting them run off together and play
Took my son there and had to leave after 45 minutes because 3/4 of the staff were rude and they wouldn’t let me help my 6 year old who can’t swim on his own yet with any of the activities. I guess I’m supposed to let my child drown. My family will not be returning.
Lots of lifeguards. I feel safe letting my children swim here.
My daughters & I get a summer pool pass every summer. Its good fun, great bonding time, excellent exercise, & you get one heck of a tan as well...lol.We love it there! Its a good place for me to meditate as well. Your mind goes to your happy place when your at the Tropicana Cove. I can put all my daily stresses behind me while Im here & float on the lazy river for hours if I dont feel like playing hard in the pool with the kids. They have a good food court as well. Lots of choices all the way from chili cheese fries & hot dogs to salad & a grilled chicken sandwich or wrap. I really cant say enough about this place. It will be part of my family tradition for many years to come
I absolutely love this place!!! We had soooo much fun at Tropicanoe Cove. The petting zoo is free and they have a wallaby walkabout where the wallabies can walk right up to you. Bald eagles, spider monkeys, tortoises, owls and much much more. It is truly a beautiful park. Did you know they have water slides and water games. Rides for the children and a train. Omgoodness I could go on and on about how wonderful and nice the employees are and the people there. Thanks and I will be back.
I hate this place. One year for my birthday we were allowed to take food in. But the the next year we werent allowed to, and my cake and cupcakes were melted, because we had to have them in the car for 2-3 hours.I was wearing goggles and one of the staff employees thought I had stolen them. Also, there is not a lot to do. Only one slide, lazy river, small sand area for kids 10 and down, small kiddie area, two short slides that go into deep water, and lily pads that you cross water with.Next Birthday, I am going to the Lebonan Pool. They have a lot more to do. They have a body slide, and a big open yellow slide that is used with tubes, but they got rid of tubes so you just ride down by yourself. They have a wave pool, a whirl pool, a lazy river, a kiddie area with a big bucket that spills water everytime it gets filled up. An area to swim normally and Lilly pads that you use to cross water. You cant take food inside, but they have picnic tables and a big, fun park outside of the water park.Would not recommend the Tropicanoe Water Park.
Closed for the season!
Decent sized water park for a town this size! Super fun especially when its warm and you want to cool off!
Great place for family fun. Water slide, lazy river, kiddie corner, food cafe. Not expensive. Food is not great but still ok.
We always have fun.
