Love this dog park. I would give it 5 stars if there was a place to fill water bowls. The hoomans are great at bringing water for the dogs, especially during the summer months. Great place to play off leash. The dogs at this park are great. We have never had one encounter with a dog that was bad. However we have had horrible experiences with some of the dogs hoomans.

The space is huge, but it doesn’t work for me anymore. After years of going there I’m finished. Just so sad that people at this park bring dogs who attack other dogs and don’t take responsibility for it. My dog was bit by a dog who had a restraint on its mouth so it wouldn’t bite. That was useless. Why put a restraint on if it doesn’t work? The dog wouldn’t give back my dog’s ball and when it finally dropped it, my dog picked it up and she bit my dog. If you have a dog who bites, it shouldn’t go to a dog park. Take it where it can’t bite if you know it bites! My sister’s dog got bit there ten days before, completely innocently also.Neither the owner of the dog that bit my dog, nor the one that bit hers took any responsibility for the damage. Between the two of us we spent almost $500 at the vet.I’m done with this level of risk.

It is fully fenced in. It is large enough to avoid other dogs if you want to but also laid out where you can see everything at any point. There is a separate inner circle area that is recommended for small or timid dogs.I do recommend bringing water for your dogs as there really is no shade and it gets HOT.

Great place! Could have more grass but the fantastic view is worth it! They have large area for the big high energy dogs. And a small area for the little doggies and low energy dogs! Also places to sit for the low energy human and paths to walk for the high energy humans to walk and run! Again great place!

This is a great park to have in the neighborhood. Its large enough to space out but regardless youll always be able to see your dog. They provide compostable bags (which I love) and seem to keep up with it regularly. I dont mind that its sand but some folks might. They also have restrooms there, which is a nice perk!

Good dog park. Areas are very large and separated depending on what size of dog you have. Plenty of poop bags on supply as well as benches. Public restrooms are available in the parking lot as is a dumpster for the poop bags. Might have been nice to have trash bins in the park, but thats a small nitpick. Other dog owners were responsible when I was there. Plenty of parking. My dog loved it too!

Terrific off-leash dog park. Large area to let your pooch run and play. There are several covered pavilions with benches to sit on, water bowls near each one, and plenty of dispensers for plastic poo bags are all around. Would have given 5 stars but trash recepticles are really scarce. Good views of the mountains are an added bonus!

A great big park with all of the running space for your active pupper. They even have a smaller section for little dogs. It it pretty much all sand/dirt but thats part of the fun! Its a close, fenced-in area. Theres a separate, smaller area for small or timid dogs. We came from Aurora where the off-leash area at the Cherry Creek State Park is amazing, so this place was severely lacking in comparison. It was large enough that the dogs could run around, but there are no mature trees or any other shade structure, and no water for the dogs to drink or swim in, so I dont think well be here much in warm weather. We visited a few days after a snow storm, but with at least one sunny day since the storm, and the entire area was a huge mud pit. There was almost nowhere to walk that your boots didnt sink into sticky mud.Untill we find something close thats better, this will have to do.

Great because its close to town and fairly large, but it lacks an important amenedity - water. Most of the people are very respectful and responsible per owners but there are significant exceptions. PSA: this place works because you keep your dog(s) in check behaviorally, and please pick up their poop!

Not as good as the Boneyard in Erie. Large sections of very tall grass, which could be home to ticks and not very useful for dogs playing, regardless. Very rough land inside of the walking track. No waste disposal in the park, so you have to carry bags around until you leave or leave your dog inside and go out to dispose of the bags. Good sized space, though.

Large park with plenty of space for dogs to play. Good community feel with lots of sociable owners. Very few people ignoring their dogs or allowing problematic behaviors.Does get muddy. No running water, but water bowls and crowd sourced gallon jugs available - please take empties home to refill. No natural shade or wind screens. There are a few covered benches. My preferred park except on wet days (then I go to old Town Louisville since the cinder makes it slighty less muddy).

Hands down, one of the finest dog parks in the Metro. Custom shelves for water, loaner Chuckits (tennis-ball throwers), dozens of donated water bowls, shady benches....and on, and on. There are some great people taking care of this park, a far cry from Denvers main parks. You guys should be proud of your park, and your neighbors. Cheers.

Ive been at better maintained dog parks. Weeds are too tall around the whole property. Weeds especially bad in small and timid fenced area. Restrooms are a plus..but be nicer if toilet was clean and not nasty...maybe a deodorizer in there too. My dogs like this park. I think this is because it has an open space feel. Dogs are friendly and well monitored by owners. Nice inner fenced park for small and timid dogs. Wish there were a collection barrel inside the park where we can deposit compostable poop bags instead of in the big trash bin next to outhouses. Not a big deal but it would make the exit routine several tasks shorter.

Le
Review №88

We adore this dog park for many reasons. First, it is VERY big so there is plenty of space for all the dogs to run and play. They have two sections. The first area is the largest and for dogs that are very social. There is a smaller coral that is meant for more timid dogs. That is nice so that everyone can play. Another amazing thing like about this park is the sense of community here. Everyone wants to say hello and get to know you and your dog. It really makes you feel like you are a part of something special when you come. One thing to be aware of is that there isnt much shade here so avoid coming in the heat of the day. Its best to come in the evening as the sun is setting both because its cool, and because it looks gorgeous to watch the sunset behind the mountains as you and your family walk around the park with your dog.

This is a great dog park. What it lacks in amenities, it makes up for in friendly people and dogs, and people who really care about and feel pride for this park. It seems like about every week someone comes up with a new addition. One Amenity lacking is running water or a tap, but made up by people who consistently bring gallon jugs of water. While it lacks natural shade from trees, it has about six metal shelters with benches, each one having one or two water dishes. Several users obviously got together and planted small trees and tend to them. People mostly pick up their dogs poop and others pick up extra, so it is usually very clean. The loop is about 0.3 miles. There is a bathroom (for humans), lots of poop bags and one main garbage can, and also a trail to take your leashed dog through a nearby field. Definitely best to go when it is not blazing hot.

Stopped here traveling through town in a RV. The parking lot is only about 20 spaces and no room for big vehicles. There is no water and very little shade. The pond is reclaimed waste water with use at your own risk warnings on their website. The park is large and poop bags are provided and its clean. The people and dogs were nice, of course theres the usual novice dog owners with no awareness of their dogs behavior, but thats at every dog park. Overall a nice park that has potential to be a great park...grass, water, shade, parking upgrades would 5 star this park.
