The female bathroom was disgusting. They had childs underwear on the floor, the toilet was flooded. The park is nice and well kept. We got here through the boat launch which is also well kept.

Beaver park is a nice little park with great amenities. Situated on a small pond and neighboring Vermilionville, its a perfect setup to spend a date or picnic. There are tennis courts and a place to hit baseballs as well. The pond does have fish.I used to go there for lunch breaks when I worked nearby.

Love this place, quite for just you and the family. Never really busy. Found this little X O X O X O Tic Tac Toe treasure under the slides. There is a place to BBQ. Meant for 2-3 families at most.

This park to me is beautiful and abundant in nature, but parking and driving into the park is a bit difficult. So be careful and park along the sides.

The Scott Lions club used the bbq pits there to cook our benefit dinners. The procedes went to the Lions Childrens camp in Leesville and the Lions eyeglass Foundation for children. We had a successful fundraiser and ee appreciate the use of the Beaver Clubs pits.

The are 2 sections of the park, and also Vermilionville, a theme park/cultural center (and restaurant) which is a reconstruction of an early cajun settlement. This is located in the larger section, which also contains a couple of baseball fields, some nice tennis courts and fishing ponds (complete with alligators). This section is on the airport side. While its one park and connected by walkway (not recommended after dark), the sections are divided by highway 90, a 4 lane divided expressway. The other section features some playground equipment for little ones and a large fishing pond. Its partially bordered by the Vermilion River, and has a free paved boat landing for river access.
