I saw The Lost City of Z at this theatre. The movie wasnt great but the viewing experience was. I felt like I was in the Amazon jungle.
Great place. Comfy seats. But can be pricey. Sad it’s closing
Seats were comfortable, sound was great, first showings were $5.41 and then by 12 it bumps up to almost $9. The food arms drinks are not cheap, but if you go first thing in the morning, its worth it. Overall was a great theater. Theres an elevator to get to the second floor, very spacious theaters. Best seating would be in the middle area.
Nicest movie theater ever! Extremely clean lobby, bathrooms, and theaters. Reclining seats, amazing drink menu for the bar, really nice staff, and you can order food/drinks at the bar and it’s delivered to your seat. The burgers are great! They even have giant ice cream macarons at the concession stand...like what’s not to love?!
In a hurry? Didnt get dinner before the movie? Not seeing a movie in the theater that serves food? No worries! Get the hamburger sliders. They grill them right there at the counter. In addition the quality of the meat is good.
Great movie house! Comfy seats. Fantastic staff. clean restrooms unisex too if you need the extra privacy. Restaurants close by.
A lovely modern appointed facility. Excellent menu in the theaters that offer dining. Terrific recliners elsewhere. Good cocktail program and attached restaurant. Not the cheapest theater around but one of the best.
This is one of my favorite movie theaters in North Dallas! I like that it is conveniently located right off the highway and extremely close to plenty of amazing restaurants and lounges. The venue also has an impressive variety of food, beverages and seating options, including luxury-style seating. I love the venue so much, I hosted a private movie screening here, and the staff and manager were so kind and accommodating.
Great place to see a movie. The seating and dining options are great. Each theater is pretty small and no viewing obstructions. Wish it was closer to my house.
Love this place for movies and drinks ONLY! They have the most comfortable seats, best showings, easy bookings, and great wine special. I continue going for the movies, but unfortunately will not do the look and dine here, which is the only reason I did not give 5 stars.I really hate to post this, because this is my favorite theatre of all time. I just love the modern vibe and non traditional set up. And I can order great wine to enjoy during my movie. But. The last time I came, I saw Once Upon a Time In Hollywood at the look and dine. I purchased a pizza and $95 bottle of wine.15 minutes into the movie, I reached over for a piece of my pizza to CLEARLY SEE roaches (3 that I saw in that moment) scatter across my pizza!!! I yanked my hand back (somehow didn’t scream) and saw them scatter down between the couch and table it was onCall me high maintenance, but I didn’t eat a bite more of the pizza. I paid my bill, tipped accordingly (20%-it’s not my servers fault) and exited. My boyfriend let the manager know, who apologized and gave us 2 vouchers for free small popcorns. Since it was 1am I got home and ordered dominoes for dinner.I will continue to watch films here, but sadly just can’t get my mind in the right state to ever eat in the dark at the look and dine again-which seriously bums me out!
Absolutely outstanding place for enjoying movie. Luxurious and outstanding makeover with recliner and food court, also there is a Bar. Located at a posh neighborhood of Addison TX. They have limited number of show times. Big parking lots with valet parking and handicap accessible.
Love the theater and the Atmos surround. The chairs recline great, unfortunately the headrest are like boards. No support or cushion. Rather uncomfortable after a little while of sitting. Prices are much better than other theaters. Would rate a 5* if only the seats were more comfortable.
Comfortable seats, but Look & Dine totally not worth the cost. $15 for a noon show, a $15 grilled chicken sandwich & a $6 diet coke...tack on a mandatory gratuity (which they ALSO taxed) and I spent over $40 for a MATINEE movie. Nope. Fool me once, shame on you...
Awesome customer service! Cleanliness of movie theaters is fair but could be improved. Otherwise it would be a five.
Attended on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, noon showing in a dine-in cinema. FANTASTIC experience! Bought Tix in advance, but being unfamiliar with the layout here, selected seats online that were not accessible to one in our party. We sat down where we were comfortable. When our waiter, Alex T., appeared, we told him we had changed seats from what wed reserved. He said it wouldnt really matter, but offered to get our seating changed in their computer so thered be no question or surprise during the movie. He didnt have to do that and we appreciated that he did. The food was GREAT, better than expected, and since Alex told us one entree would be just $5 during the mid-day special, we were able to add appetizers. The place was clean, had super nice staff, the movie, sound, and room temp were perfect, and we had an unexpectedly better time than we had hoped. Thanks especially to Alex T.; you made our day even more enjoyable.
Great Cinema, great deals on food and good prices. But dont get there early or youll be blasted with the loudest Friday Night Lights-esque music youve ever heard in your life. We asked the manager to turn it down just a little and they did (way down) for a few seconds, then it went right back to 11. Bring ear plugs...
I will be back, the service was great and fast! The food was delicious!! I had a Grilled Chicken Cob Salad and I highly recommend it. My brother had a burger and my cousin had the chicken sliders, they both really liked theyre food too. My Margarita was really strong but my cousin gladly drank it with no complaint.
I absolutely love this theater. The chairs are very comfortable, and there is plenty of space between seats and between rows. Everything has been very clean each time we have visited. The reason I am giving this three stars is because last time we were here, there was a group of teenagers in front of us that were taking selfies during the movie with the camera flash on. They literally took over 50 pictures before we got so annoyed that we went to go tell management and asked if there was anything they could do. After all, a camera flash during a serious movie is rather distracting when it is happening over and over again. Unfortunately management did not do anything about it and did not even ask the kids to put up their phones during the movie. After paying a pretty hefty price to see a movie in a nice theater, I am disappointed by the fact that management would not do anything to enforce a pleasant viewing experience for all members of the audience.
Wonder Y their CoViD-19 status isnt plainly publicized rt. here so NO 1 has to LQQK any further OR give them a shout to find out wth their opening hrs. aRe !?
I love this place all the employees are nice and the service is fantastic best place to watch a movie
I love this cinema!! It is cozy, quaint, unique & certainly a wonderful departure from the average movie experience.
The Attention its incredible, the seats are great and the kind of people that go here its calm and quiet during the movies.
I love Look! Its such a classy upscale movie theater. You literally feel like you are at a gala/museum/restaurant all in one. They have everything that other theaters offer and more. You can choose to have dinner in their look and dine cinemas or you can have family night on their sofas In the loft. We have been in the lofts and look and dine and have loved both. The last movie we saw was Hotel Transylvania and it was amazing, the only downside was our theater didnt have reclining seats. And if for any reason you find that look is too expensive, try to go during the day and catch the first showing of the movie or on Wednesdays when tickets are like 5 or 6 dollars!
The place is absolutely incredible the audio and video effects are outstanding. I walked into the theater and as we were sitting down there was trash inside the cup holders and there was a popcorn bag left in the seat next to mine. I went to the bathroom and its smells like a sewer. I walked into a bathroom stall and there was diarrhea on the floor and there was urine all over the toilet seats. I went and told one of the attendants that the bathroom was filthy. At the end of the movie I went back and the bathroom still had the same issue it had not been addressed it was almost an hour and a half later. Part of the customer service experience is also in the bathrooms. I also asked my girlfriend to go into the female bathroom just to check it out and she said it was just as filthy.
It is what it is, really good seating. Comfortable chairs and a waiter. The prices are outrageous, movie tickets are premium price and they charge an arm and a leg for food. I put them in the category of an expensive splurge. Overall the experience is great. Just make sure you want to drop around a hundred bucks for a family of 3 to have this service. Overall i am a dollar cinema typr of guy so if you want this great experience i highly recommend, but budget friendly? NOPE! BUT it is a nice place.
Im a big guy and this is the fist theater Ive visited that had seats that were big enough for me!
I absolutely love this place! The food is soooooo delicious from The Ivy Kitchen The video and sound are great and customer service is wonderful.
Great, high end facility at reasonable prices. Exceedingly comfortable chairs that recline at the press of a button. In the concert scene, the surround-sound was so realistic, I forgot I was in a theater; I briefly felt I was actually at the concert. Plenty of leg and elbow room. Wide walking space between rows. However, the volume is, at times, too high, in the extreme. I had to cover my ears from the pain. When your movie is more quiet, you can hear a loud sound track in the next theater.
I really liked it.The food was good. I had the fish & chips, my daughter, the mac &cheese w/crab...delicious. The movie was great. Nice to be able to relax and recline after enjoying our meal.It was also very nice having dedicated restrooms for the Look and Dine section. Would have been better if they were functioning as intended. I did report it to an employee. Aside from the messed up toilets, I am looking forward to going back again.
Went to go see Captain Marvel. Picking up our ticket reservations was easy, and the staff was very friendly. I looked at the snack bar, but I didnt get anything. Although, the selection seemed very good. The seats were very comfortable reclining seats. Nothing more that I could ask from a movie viewing experience.
Staff is always giving their best service. Drinks are great and theater is comfortable.
Beautiful theatre. My wife loved couch option and we took our daughter here for her birthday and first movie theater experience. Modern decor and design combined with ample parking, pleasant staff and cleanliness made our experience here fantastic.
This is my favorite theater. I love the couches and the overall layout of this place. It’s always clean with ever-changing movie chalk art decorating the halls. Date night discounts on certain days make luxury a bargain. Keep up the good work!
I love this place. The theaters themselves are very nice, the food and drinks are great. Always nice to get a double whisky on the rocks and sip while enjoying a movie. Plus the throwback movies.... Im definitely coming to see Sandlot!
Only certain theaters have food service. My seat was comfortable. But, it squeaked.
My first time experience was great with seeing Captain Marvel and eating. The menus is awesome, and the steak and shrimp was so amazing! Food came out fast, and the service was on point. I like the concept of choosing his comfortable and style of service you’d like. I also like that gratuity was included. I will be back soon
Look and Dine is the perfect way to spend a date night. The loft is a great place to go with friends after dinner. The Atmos and 3D options are fun but not much different than any other theater experience. We love the bar and the awesome bartenders. Great cocktails and pretty good beer and wine list. We recommend this place to almost everyone we meet.
Nice theater, great food. Recliners dont fully extend... gets acquired after a while
Food is delicious. The vibe is real. Good times. The lofts are my favorite.
Very nice theater but a bit too pricey for me.
Everytime my husband and I feel like a date night where we can relax and enjoy an awesome movie, this is the place to go. Ive taken many family members and friends, they all have loved it!
Being hearing challenged, I need assistive devices to enjoy movies. About half the time, the devices dont work. One time the device failed twice, once at the beginning and again in the middle of viewing. Manager apologized and offered two passes good for any movie, any time.Went to see Lion King over the weekend. The same manager refused to honor the passes.I thought you said the passes are good for any movie, any time?Manager: They are, except for Lion King.
Easy seating. Not TOO cold, Great service, and wonderful relaxing recliners. A good way to spend an afternoon.
Love the ambiance of this theatre. Also love that they play find that arent at the chain cinemas
Had never been to this cinema before. Went to a Friday matinee. Cinema was clean and did not have that sour musty smell plaguing so many cinemas. We were in their revolution screening room. The recliners were probably the best seating Ive ever had in a theater. Comfortable almost to a fault! You may be tempted to catch a nap regardless of how good the movie is. All the staff were friendly. Overall a great experience and will definitely go back.
Great place for a movie. Comfortable chairs, great atmosphere. Love Ivy kitchen adjacent to the movies and coal vines too.
Look cinemas great sounds good like it with girlfriend feeling love
What a movie theater! Its a little more upscale than your average one but if you are willing to dish out a bit more dough you will see that it is worth it. Great sound, tasty food options, and a helpful staff are what youll find here. One of the best movie experiences in the metroplex for sure.
My favourite place for a cheap date. Date night Tuesday or Wednesday, save up to $10 per ticket. Be spoiled.
Best movie experience ever!! Tuesdays $5 all day? What a deal!
Comfortable seats, nice location, great for date night.
Love how quite the place is. How clean and don’t get me started in the delicious hot dog and fries they make in front of you
Awesome movie theater been here a few times. Havent been disappointed yet. Comfortable chairs, clean rows, and decent concessions.
This threat is Amazing. I haven’t been to another theater and a couple years now. The entire experience is one of a kind from the superb comfortable seating, popcorn, Ivy kitchen where you can take your items to the movie with you!! I will continue to be a customer here. One thing, I wish there was some sort of membership perks as I visit this theater Often!!! :-)
I like Look. Admittedly I only go to the theatre once or twice a year, but when I do I go there. The seats are great, the popcorn is hot, nothing is sticky. These are my basic theatre requirements and they tick all the boxes. They dont have one of those huge IMAX screens which is kind of a bummer, but otherwise, convenient good place to catch a flick.
Insanely overpriced for the experience you receive. $15 for a standard basic movie ticket in the afternoon, not even matinee. No bells and whistles. No Imax and no 3D for the $15. Yes, the seats recline but most theaters have that now for a far less price. I’ll pass.
Sofas REALLY need a good cleaning, even a basic cleaning would have been an improvement. Movie played with lights on for the majority of the opening. SMH... amateur.
Nicest theatre in the area. Great food
A great place to sit and relax and enjoy a movie. They have multiple searing options(one of them includes dining). They have a tablet Menu, which is so cool.Good Service.
Really great sofa seats and very reasonably priced.
Picture and sound was excellent. Popcorn tasted like it had been sitting overnight. Kids deal is NOT the value, thought to be. Will definitely return, but not make the same purchases.
Great place to go see a movie!!It isn’t crowded, it’s very clean.. the staff is very friendly
Friendly staff and people actually stayed quiet during thr movie! Im sure some people receive different experiences, but mine happened to go well!
Very nice, clean, ultra-modern movie theatre with stadium seating and reclining chairs. For my second time going, I love this place!
Really good service and a luxurious experience! Loved it and would not hesitate to come back again. Check out their special prices during the week and you wont regret their atmos surround theatres.
This was a cool theater - we saw a movie in the cinema above the bar. The seat groupings make it impossible to sit directly centered in front of the screen, and makes it difficult to see movies with a group. The sofas are fairly close to the front of the theater. Visual and sound quality of the movie itself were fine.
I once rated LOOK Cinemas 5 stars, and that was only a year ago. I was shocked by how much the quality has dropped since then. When I watched a recent movie, the theater had some strange particles all over our selected seats, there was popcorn on the floors, and drinks left around. They let everyone into the theater even though they clearly didnt clean it. I dont know if it was just a day of negligence by the workers there or if this is how things always are now. All I know is I wont be going back any time soon. I only gave 2 stars because 1)The movie actually played and 2)It was spacious.
Not worth all the money and be careful they auto grat your tabs and dont tell you about it. The manager of the restaurant Jason had a really bad attitude and pretty much told us to kick rocks over double tipping. We always tip, we just dont usually tip 40% for inattentive service. When we brought that up to Jason he was unnecessarily rude and defensive. when we asked at what point anyone made us aware the tab was having automatic gratuity added and he pretty much told us we should have done our homework before going to their business. Never again, Very unprofessional guy.
Very fun theater lots of private bathrooms.
Ive only been here once in August of 2017 to see Dunkirk, and I wont ever go back again.I will say the place was very clean, but thats about the only pleasant surprise I had.Evening tickets on a Tuesday for the Look and Dine were $19 a piece. That doesnt include any food or drink.Chairs in the theatre were wide, but stiff overall. The power recliners only partially elevate your feet.Nothing on the menu seemed overly impressive. We got a flat bread and Shiner on draft that came to $24.We saw Dunkirk in standard format, and the theater was not calibrated for sound for that film. You could see the left side of the screen ripple everytime there was a sound effect, and the particularly loud sound effects made the screen ripple in three separate spots. Very distracting, especially in a war film with almost non-stop sound effects.Same some money and go down the road to Alamo or SMG.
I think that they are overpriced for a theater that doesnt really offer a different experience than the run of the mill theater. It does offer a 21 and over only section for people who dont want to watch the movie with children and want to drink. But again its very overpriced.
Great format for movie viewing. Impressed with the layout and the quiet comforting structure that was serene and modest in its modern facade. Wonderful sitting arrangement for small audiences offering many amenities a typical upscale movie goer could ask for before and in some showings during the showtime.
First time going to this theater. It was a bit pricey, but we did go and see 70mm film and were expecting comfortable seating, so I didnt have a problem with the price. First, when selecting the seating online, the arrangement showed a larger theater with pairs of seats spaced further apart from their neighbor then what it actually is. Second, the seats were comfortable but when they were reclined the leather would rub against the seat and the wall making a pretty loud squeaking sound. And on that, if you reclined the seats to any degree it would put your viewing angle such that the dividing walls between the aisles would cut off the bottom of the screen,a reclining all the way and you could be missing a few inches off the bottom. Oh yeah and it was too warm and the sound quality seemed a bit off. All things considered, I dont mind paying around 30% more for a movie every once in a while if it means getting a more comfortable movie experience, but this theater made me wish we had just gone to a regular, cheaper, theater.
Went to see Us, every time Ive gone to Look Ive had a great experience, food was even better. they allowed you to order pretty much anything that was listed on the Ivy Kitchen menu. Even if it wasnt on their movie menu.
The Look theater has been my go to movie theater for some time now. I love how clean it always is and the staff is extremely kind and helpful. The seats are super cozy and the food is pretty good too.
One of our favorite movie spots since it’s by my husband’s work and we can just meet him over here. The theaters are nice and with huge evolution screens. I will say I missed the heated seats that the theater by our house put in. Didn’t realize how nice they were until I went back to a place that didn’t have them. Lol.The screens are huge and sound is great. The drink station is self filling which I honestly don’t love as they are the kind that has a touch screen and take forever.Overall though, it’s a nice theater choice for adults (as they do serve alcohol) or families.
Love this place. Only theatre whose website was still working when I wanted to buy Endgame tickets. Its always clean, the seats are comfortable and the food is good.
First off, the speakers were so loud that I had to cover my ears during every action scene, which obviously was damn near every scene since I was watching Avengers. I thought really hard about leaving when I thought I could no longer physically handle being there but having paid and wanting to wait any longer to see what would happen I stayed, the seats had food in the cracks and the drink holders were sticky and gross.
The restaurant food is fantastic. It is pricy, but worth it for a date night or something special. Concession stand food and drink prices are comparable to other theaters. The serviceis always good. The bathrooms are always clean. The theatres are all comfortable. Great placeto spend a few hours!
It doesnt look like it, but this is a locally owned theater. Its very polished. A bit confusing, but once you understand which theaters serve the food you want - its great.
I was expecting something a bit more relaxful and comfortable. I was seated in the lofts, i didnt like the idea that we had to get up and order food at the bar but i understand there are different theaters that offer different services. Maybe next time our theater will be different. The seats were comfortable though and ferrying the tickets were so simple. Maybe the simplest Ive ever experienced! Ill definitely go back
One of the best movie theaters in Dallas Fort Worth area
I really enjoyed my movie! Great place!
Its a nice theater, but avoid the food part. $15 per person for tickets and $50 for ok food and a few drinks. This place is not worth $80. I would reccomend going to the loft section and avoiding the side with food.
First time visiting! We grabbed drinks at the bar followed with a movie. Facilities were clean and seats were comfortable. Easy parking. Well be back!
My second trip to LOOK and thus far, 10/10 both times. Honestly, the main reason for the review is the damned Brussels sprouts. I love Brussels sprouts and these are up there with the best I’ve ever had, which is not what one might expect from a movie theater, but who am I to look a gift horse in the mouth? The service has been *exceptional* during both visits, both in and out of the theater itself. I suppose someone should expect that with built in 18% gratuity, but, regardless, it’s working. Not a bad seat in the place, easy access, awesome food and drink, and superior service.
Great movie theater with it being my first time going. I would go back and I highly recommend everyone do the same
Love this place and the food is great ! I recommend the Bacon Mac and Cheese. Also the flatbread pizza is great!
Declining quality and value all the way around. Food is expensive and mediocre at best. Beer is served in plastic cups?! Seats are showing wear. And admission is $18 on a Saturday night. Before any food is even ordered Finally they charge an 18% gratuity on all food orders. And ask for your credit card before you actually order. Poor quality customer experience. Go to any Alamo for a better experience at all levels.
