Perfectly handled social distancing. My wife and I went to see Tenet and it was a great experience. Very few of us in the theater and everyone was responsible. You order with an app now and the food and drinks were up to their regular par. It was clean and I loved my experience. Well be back just as soon as we can get a sitter.

Very nice place. Good at social distancing. Tasty popcorn. Ours was a private event so they easily controlled the # of people in the theater.

Love this place, It never disappoints. Always very clean, its obvious that they are following all current health protocols. Menu has a great selection with decent pricing! The seating is very comfortable in all of the rooms. Picture and sound are top notch. Staff is very helpful. Its so worth it to buy into thieir movie going programs. The perks are vey generous. If you havent yet, check this location out. Its the one at Spring Valley and I-75.

Very well kept theater. Seats and tables were nice and clean. The selection of food and drinks was good if not a little pricey. Good thing the movie tickets arent expensive on top of the food. Plan for a tip too. The seats recline just enough to be comfortable for the entire movie.

Be careful, they still money. Check your statement ... i leave cash tip all the time, the reason because i work in the tip industry and is better to have cash tip then credit card tip... so sad they have to still like this, this is my first bad experience from this place.....

Great customer service and we were the only ones in the theater!

We loved this theatre. Very large open bar and waiting area with comfortable seats, couches, tables with a full service bar. The tables in the theatre were a little awkward the way they rotate out but not that big an issue. I liked the call button for each table much better than Alamo Draft House method of putting up a piece of paper to get the wait staff attention. The food was good and the servers were prompt.

Food was better than I expected and the chairs were good. Picture was also good. Thats about it. For the price you would expect much better service. The theater was loud from others, our order was mixed up, I asked for a refill 3 times in an hour and never got one.Drinks, entrees, appetizer for the wife and i.... $79 before tip....not even counting the tickets to get in. For 80 bucks you would expect service. Not just a rushed delivery and not responsive...except when its time to pay.

Love the $20 pitcher of beer plus they have a two for $30 menu. Comes with an appetizer, multiple choices for two and a dessert. Tasted great and was so much left over I took the rest home. Love this place

Okay food, but I go for the seating which is great. The menu needs a serious overhaul though. I havent found a sit and eat theater that has gotten the formula down right yet. Its either lets try and get to fancy or extremely cheap.

The theater was comfortable. Very clean. Service was prompt. I enjoy the movie. And I would highly recommend. We had a couple drinks at the bar before the movie. And a few while we ate dinner. The food was delicious. I highly recommend

Ticket prices are great. 7 bucks average. The food is very expensive, as you would imagine, but still very good. Service was prompt and friendly. They missed on the quality/selection of drinks. Their mixed drinks are outrageously overpriced for what you get. I had the XL Long Island Iced tea (14 dollars) and was not good at all. The Fancy Mac n Cheese however was pretty dang good!! The saving Grace here was the phenomenal screen and sound quality!! Ground shaking bass and perfectly balanced sound. Overall I enjoyed it.

It was amazing and relaxing. Sound could have been better but maybe I should watch an action packed movie for that. The Photograph made my date even better

Thats just the place for my movie treat everytime. Love the place. Comfy, relaxing and best service. Big screen, recliner, food at your table. What else. Literally went to micro nap due to the comfort. Big thanks to my nephew for taking me there. New recliner place as I heard from family coz it wasnt there not very long ago. So perfect place for movie nights. Must go and watch your favourite movie.

Wonderful seating, huge facility with many snack food and drink options. Food is somewhat expensive but very very good (especially the cookies). Seats were comfortable and reclined back.

One star for the clean theater (#15), another star for the ticket cost.Everything else was a letdown. My order was tossed onto my tray, servers looked uncaring. My chicken tenders order was underwhelming. Fries made up barely a quarter of the plate. Fountain drink lagged behind food order.Theres much better locations (The Colony, Plano) that offer better service. Theres also an Alamo Drafthouse north of this SMG thats on par with the two better locations mentioned.

Arrive early They have a full bar with lots of seating big screen t.vsYou can eat & have drinks in the bar or in the theatre. The Lazy Boy seating is plush The sound & digital visuals are excellent. 116 screens big parking lot new facility makes this top notch for 2 or large group entertainment!

Usually this location is fine. Nothing ever happens, good or bad. Today, however, their new card system doesnt work, the food came well before our drinks (as in food is finished well before drinks), no manager does anything, and no one cares. We did ask to speak to a manager twice, no one came. We saw the manager walk past us twice. A new card system doesnt excuse the issue. There needs to be a new training system or something.The food aspect of the movie grill needs to be fixed, before we are ever coming back. 2 studio movie grills have problems, were going to Alamo drafthouse from now on.

I wished the seats were more comfy my lower body started to become numb after sitting through our movie. The tables were dirty upon finding seats yet were cleaned upon ordering and bringing it to the servers attention. The carpets could have been manage more thier were a few missed straw wrappers and popcorn pieces on the floor before the entrance.

It was okay a little outdated, we ordered our drinks and popcorn and asked for extra napkins but our waiter or waitress never brought them until almost towards the movie we ordered some fries and they never brought not one napkin until we had to ask again for some napkins towards the end of the movie and then they finally gave us some ! Will never go back to spend my money there !!!

That was pretty cool. My wife and I enjoyed a cool movie. But since we had already ate dinner at another place. We decided to enjoy a nice dessert. It was good. Abit pricey. But we decided to splurge that night. So it was a fun experience.

Where do I start our server Jalen was the worst. He had an excuse and sarcastic attitude the entire time. He charged us twice for one of the item and my husband paid it. When I was signing I notice what him did he was like so what do you want me to do and I said fix it SMH!!! The customer service was horrible. I will never come to this location again. Then the seats in theater do not recline and which it did not state on the website or the ticket. It was hard to enjoy the movie.

Unhappy that they are charging for water and refills of water. Not going back.

Amazing sound system. Luxury, oversized reclining seats makes you feel like youre in a customer theater.

My favorite movie-going experience to date. The only reason I didnt rate 5 stars is the fact that you spend almost twice as much on tickets and then you wind up spending twice as much on food. If you have the money to splurge, this is one of the best places to go for dinner and a movie.

Visited this lace on 2/9, only 2 people in my whole movie. All I ordered was sweet potato fries and ranch. The guy stressed .50 for ranch, no biggie for me. They come with the fries, no napkins, and of course, no ranch. I pressed the attention button and it took an additional 30 mins for them to come and ask again what I needed. Then they brought water, Who asked for water? Several times, a server comes to bring other guy different things. I even asked him to bring me ranch, his response “I’ll let some one know”. Needless to say, I left and told them to not charge my card. Movie was only 30 mins in, Screw the whole movie theatre. The kids who they chose to hire need customer service skills. It’s pathetic, even when the manger was brought to attention of it, all he could say was “I’m trying to fix it”. How???

Clean nice outings during pandemic

We ordered a large popcorn. They tried to give us a medium. We asked for our large popcorn. We did not get our popcorn for over an hour. I had to demand to speak to the manager. A Mike fcame over to speak to me outside the room. I demanded to know why we have not received our popcorn. He scolded me for speaking loudly to him and that it will not help to resolve the issue. He stated he will take care of the popcorn problem. Did not apologize for the problem. Brought the popcorn to me when it should have been brought to our seats. I was missing part of the movie. This is totally the worst kind of service and a very poor example if managerial skills on Mikes part.

This place is great. Very professional, clean theater and clean bathroom. Food is good for a dine in movie theater. Great service. I did not develop phlegm afterwards. Medium size gourmet popcorn is enough portion for an adult.

Hi. Good movie. Seats were a little uncomfortable. My food was perfect, but my moms was wrong. She pushed the little red button ( for service of course) to tell them it was wrong...they take it....they take a long time to bring her her correct dinner. Still was delicious. Service was prompt. I havent been in a studio movie grill in a while, but the food is not as good any more, prices are very high. We order the 2 for $28 and two drinks that were $10 each (wow), also be aware that the build your own pizza will still cost you $2 extra per topping. We end up spending an additional $34 on top of the $28 just on drinks and toppings, not even counting the tickets.When did a movie night got this expensive? Im giving it a 2 stars just because the staff was friendly and professional.

Love the reclining seats, but dont order a milkshake. It was like drinking chocolate milk. I dont think that there was even any icecream in it.

Great concept. Prices are very reasonable and the waiters are very considerate to not interrupt the movie experience. I loved it and will definitely come back.

If you want dinner and a movie, go to Alamo Drafthouse or B&B- do not waste your money here. Horrible service and nasty restrooms!When we arrived (8 mins before showtime). The theater was not ready. When we ordered, an hour later we still had not received our food and inquired, apparently our server just decided to stop serving us. Another server stepped in and did fine, but we did not receive any compensation for having to wait so long for our food. Refills were never offered. The bathrooms were dirty,, overflowing with trash, and not stocked with toilet paper or paper towels.Everything was overpriced. With this being our second bad experience at this theater, we will not be going back.

The food I ate was good. It was fish and chips. My granddaughter and husband each had a pizza that was not the best to eat. They also need to make sure that all of the tray tables move to enable the person to sit in the chair comfortably. Some of them would not move or open up at all. The management there needs to make sure that the tray tables are operating properly.

Not sure I can update my review to currently reflect the fact that the world has closed down all the movie theaters. Its not cool at all.

Great Movie Theater! My son and I went to see Ma. Great and friendly wait staff. The power recline seats were very comfortable and the food was very good for a movie cinema. We really enjoyed ourselves.

If you’re going without using any of the food or beverage services, you’ll probably be fine. However, if you’re thinking of going and treating yourself to a movie with catered food and beverages, DO NOT. I figured I’d splurge a little and get a large popcorn with a margarita. The margarita never came, the “large” popcorn was served in a boujee bowl that only held *maybe* a medium amount of popcorn. 100% not a large. Their popcorn also just isn’t good. It’s so bland, it doesn’t have any of that movie theater butter flavoring going on. I had to get the “Dill Spice” to give it flavor which was an extra $2 and just made everything taste like pickles.Back to the margarita - I complained about not receiving it and was told I’d get another one and there would be no charges. End of the movie, I’m charged for two margaritas. What on earth. All of this is not even to mention the amount of the movie I missed discussing all of this with workers. Honestly it was all so distracting and frustrating and not a good experience. Legitimately, pack some drinks and a bag of popcorn in your purse and just enjoy the movie. Their service and prices are blasphemy.

Slow service. We arrived for 9:30 showing, theater wasnt ready until 9:28. Waited about 10 minutes at the bar before we were acknowledged and served. Food was not tasty.

Good but always have issues with incorrect receipts that have to be fixed. They also need to stop being so petty and just give the bigger cups for water as well...

Purchasing my tickets was very easy but the actual ordering of my food however was not. The first order I placed was not put in correctly and when he went back to correct it, it took a while before I got my food back. Definitely need to get more organized in the kitchen.

Theater was trashed, service was non existent.We waited 20 minutes for a menu only for the server to come back, give them to another group then spend 8 minutes taking their order, come over to us hand us the menus we now had been waiting nearly 30 minutes for. She walks away, never comes back. Another waiter comes up and takes our order only to proceed by walking away saying the kitchen was closed. We drove 30 minutes out of our way to go see a movie and eat food. Instead we sat and watched a terrible 2 hour film on an empty stomach. Terrible service, will not return. First time customerThe help in Theater 4 at 11Pm should probably be more attentive at their job and not the talk to a group of basically every employee outside the theater while on shift. Doesnt surprise me on exiting the theater it was a ghost town without an employee in sight and leftover food and trash over on a corner booth that appeared to have somehow be recently cooked from a closed kitchen, unless they just don’t clean for 2 hours after the section closes.

Soo much potential for a great date night. Went to see Rise of Skywalker and except for a wait staff that cant keep it together its nice enough. They forgot out appetizer, and the couple next to us food all together, it was different waitstaff. One flake I get, but 2x2

I was surprised with how fresh the food tasted at this location. I had quit going to Studio Movie Grill for years. I will be coming back. I just hope I don’t have to wait 30 minutes for a refill again. Food and customer service was good but that wait time was ridiculous. 4 stars.

This was the most bizarre experience! first let me say we have been to SMG-SV many times and will most certainly will continue. The movie experience was great, seats, light, sound etc. The service was odd. We arrived 20 minutes early for a few apps, and then a couple of entrees with the movie. Wive and I ordered water, son a sprite, popcorn, edamame and pretzel bites (w/ both sauces). After waiting about 15 min before the movie during previews and 20 min after the movie started, no water or apps. We kept turning on the service light and still continued to wait. About 30 min later one water and a sprite arrived, still no apps. Again, service light, more waiting, 45 min later, the second water arrives. A few minutes later two of three apps arrive (only one sauce for the bites, no big deal). We continued with the service light and our final request for the popcorn. (we requested butter on the side) After an hour, popcorn arrives covered in butter. No big deal about the butter. A few minutes later another buttered popcorn arrives. Well, since movie is now heading to a close, we decide to pass on a few entrees. Here is where it gets strange! A different server from ours, drops off separate checks. Yes, one for a sprite to my son, one for popcorn for wife, and one for two apps, mine. Not a problem! Another different server picks up our separate checks with my credit card to process. After about 30 minutes, the credits have scrolled, the screen is now dark, all of the house lights are up, and not one single guest is left in the theater. And of course, not one of the many servers assisting were in site. It felt like a Mob movie and I was about to get wacked. It was bizarre to say the least. Literally, I was the only person in this huge theater, standing up looking around like a ding dong wondering what my next move is. So I walk out to a service station, requested my check, another different server comes around the corner and says, there you are, I was looking for you!Signed the check and found wife and son in the lobby with the most bewildered look on there faces... Of course they both asked, where the heck were you?

Servers was amazing, they had enough servers vs in the past it was only 1 for the whole theater. Thats the Pro and only Pro. Cons is the food and pricing. ordered 3 sides of fries since Im not a fan of their food, just to have something in my stomach and not spend a lot.. Fries were just gross, how can McDonalds and other fast food places have better fries? I eat a lot and I mean an insane amount of food, but couldnt finish my second bowl of fries..I literally forced the first bowl down my throat I just couldnt do it for the second or third. Now price this is were I left highly disappointed. So if you go to a fast food place and order fries how much do they normally charge? 1$ or a max of $3 right? I ordered 3 sides of fries and my check was $17.89. They also charge for condiments. I had 4 honey mustards that are $.50 cents a piece...wth?

Service was honestly so bad. How hard is it to be nice to paying customers?? Every employee there seemed like they hated their job and any simple request was an inconvenience to them. Someone was clearly smoking a vape in the row in front of us and multiple employees walked by and said nothing about it.... They were all too busy texting on their phone. The food tasted good but arrived late and cold. Wanted to do the app and 2 entrees for $28. Never even ended up getting the appetizer after asking 3 SEPARATE servers. Never got the water after asking twice. Ordered an additional drink, never got that either..After everything we ended up talking to a manager and she took $5 off. To top it all off the bathrooms were disgusting. I would never recommend or come back to this chain again. The only GREAT thing about our experience was the movie that we watched.

The food was good and our server that took the order was good but the food took forever to get to us and it was just popcorn and sodas. Nice chairs they could be nicer and the food tray was not level nor did one of our buttons work. Not worth the full amount at all!

Went there with 7 other people. They brought out our food but when my son and I were about to get ours it wasnt tossed in the buffalo sauce like I asked so they took it back. I thought it would only be another 10 mins since the food was already ready just had to be tossed in sauce but no. We sat there waiting I even had asked a few people that worked there about it and they said they would check and a hour passed and me and my son still hadnt received our food. I finally asked a different girl she got it taken care of but me and my son didnt get our food till the last 15 mins of the movie I couldnt even enjoy the movie since I had to deal with this. I will definitely not return here.

HORRIBLE and I cant stress this enough HORRIBLE customer service and HORRIBLE wait staff. waited 25 minutes before I had to call someone over for them to check on our drinks. 10 minutes later our drinks get there WATERED DOWN of course from sitting for so long, shortly after our COLD food arrives.Midway through our meals, a wait staff comes with our drinks. I inform him that we got them already. when it comes to checking out, one of the wait staff said I know we had a problem with your drinks so we went ahead and comped those for you BUT they failed to mention they had charged me AGAIN for the second round of drinks that came my way after waiting 30 minutes. Here we are thinking our drinks are being comped for the HORRIBLE SERVICE but nope! They charged us for both and comped us for the watered down drinks we received 30 minutes after ordering!HORRIBLE PLACE, HORRIBLE MANAGMENT, HORRIBLE STAFF GHETTO GHETTO GHETTO

We have gotten to the point where we come just for the movie. There has not been one time we have come that there was not a service issue. From paying for a large popcorn with refill (small) refill one visit and large refill all others. To several people handling the popcorn (unsanitary) To a serious lag time between getting food and drinks. If you bring customers spicy wings an popcorn our drinks should follow right? Yet, we would have to press button several times to get food. Last week we came and my husband was double charged for our bill. It should have been $30 2 meals and 1 drink. Yet, due to some ironic system glitch it charged double $61 was the bill. So we got complimentary passes to come back. We did last night but realized we will no longer eat anything when we come. The theater seats are nice. But some much needed training for Manager, dont take everything personal. Poor service just means there is a training opportunity. Being understaffed is not an excuse with an attitude for poor service. I learned this as a claims adjuster. Now, Im degreed in corporate America Healthcare. Dont take it personal. If you take it personal, you become defensive and miss great opportunities.

It seems impossible to contact anyone on the phone. We have in the past gone to SMG frequently, but today I went to buy online tickets and saw that my online order fees were not being taken off despite the fact that we paid for the upgraded SMG Access membership. It states that it is an annual membership and we subscribed only 6 months ago.I understand that issues happen, but I should have no trouble contacting someone at 3 pm when they are not busy. I tried the corporate phone number and left a message, and never got a response. I tried calling the local theater and navigated the phone tree to guest services. It rang only one time before it went to a recorded message. I tried calling both numbers repeatedly and still got no response. I was hoping to be able to buy tickets to see a movie tonight, but I guess I will be going elsewhere.

Ive been going to this location for years. I go about once per week. Theyve recently upgraded their theaters to have larger, softer, recline chairs which are great. The food is also wonderful.

Went for the first time in years. Place was filthy and the staff didnt seem care. Couple next to us had food and drink spilled in their seats from the previous show and had to clean it themselves! We will not be back. It was just gross..

Ordered food and only received our drinks. Ask twice about the food and it never came out. Spoke to the manager and he said sorry and told me have a good night.If I could leave zero stars I would. This place is constantly poor service. I decide to give it another try. Yep never again.

This last visit was our 4th or 5th and will be our last. They always seem to never get the orders 100% correct. Asked for ranch and bbq sauce and never got it. Food came out cold. Manager was nice and refunded most of our money but for these high food prices service should be much better. Well try another location next time.

Food was good but the light in the projector room was left on the entire movie. This ruined the movie experience, especially during dark scenes. Did I forget to mention that this was one of the Star Wars movies so most of the movie was dark (space).

Ordered ball park nachos and fries. Fries were decent couldve been hot but the nachos were soggy and cold. It was avengers premiere day so its somewhat understandable. Other than that was a nice experience. Love the reclining seats. Drink was tasty

Went there to see Captain Marvel. The food was good and the theater was in good shape. The only reason why I didnt give it 5 stars was that when the servers were talking other movie watchers they would stand and block the view of the movie for minutes at a time. I understand that they are trying to do their job but it would have been nice if they crouched down when they saw that there were people trying to watch behind them.

I gave you guys one star because you took my card 15 mins poir to the movie ending in i didnt receive it back until the movie was over.. then thought i was going to tip i over heard a fellow customer say you guys gave me my receipt but no food seem like you guys need more help during movie premiere movies no one wants to wait longer then 15 mins to gosearch for there card....

Very good improvements. Had been avoiding this place for the past few years due to bad customer service and blah food. Recently decided to go back. Big customer service movement. Manager or supervisor was in the theater making sure everyone was getting attending as quickly as possible. Food was great. Still miss that skillet queso though but the cheese fries were great.

Saw a movie Saturday way afternoon and was not crowded. Walked in, bought my ticket, found the theater and seated. Wasnt too much longer before the waitress approached me with the menu.

I stopped by for a quick lunch and wasnt disappointed. We did have to return the wings because they were cold but were returned hot and spicy. The Buffalo Chicken flatbread is one of my faves and recommend even if you dont have time for a movie.

I was not happy with the service I received last night. I understood that it was the last show but I still feel that the wait staff should pay attention and be considerate when orders are placed. I had ordered cheese fries, pop corn and drinks and I received my phone but no drink until 15 minutes later than when placing my did order I told my server to bring extra ranch with my cheese fries and long n behold no ranch was brought out. I told the person who finally brought me my drink they started just wait for the staff n to leave my red light on so I do but even after asking for ranch again it didnt arrive until my food was cold. I will never go back to this location. If I would have been able to see an earlier show clearly I would have but unfortunately working till 1030 didnt allow for that. This may have been the worst experience I have ever had at a studio movie grill.

Great Experience! Except, the back row covers the bottom portion of viewing when you recline.

Its surprising that 2 different studio movie grills, just several miles away from each other could be sooo different. This one was by far the dirtiest one Ive visited. Service was fine for the most part, but the table trays on our seats were still covered in food and water from the previous movie. We asked the server if they could wipe it up for us, but he never came back. There was still trash stuffed into the cupholder on the seat next to us and our seats were covered with crumbs. The restrooms were also unkept, which to me is always a great sign of how nasty a place is in general. Nice restrooms, nice place/kitchen, nasty restrooms, nasty place/kitchen. Very rarely do these two not correlate, and this place seems to follow the rule. Employees were all nice, just mainly a cleanliness issue here.

We went there tonight to see The Peanut Butter Falcon. The movie was great, but that is where the greatness ended. We ordered food which came out ice cold French fries were cold, The sliders were cold we didn’t receive our popcorn for 45 minutes afterwards and it was cold.After the movie was over most people were waiting in line to talk to the manager- that was my first time in a studio movie grill and it will be the last time especially for the money it’s ridiculous they never even brought us any napkins!!

The Spring Valley location has poor service. They didnt bring all of my order and then tried to overcharge me. This service was not good. It was my first and last visit to that location
