My grandparents, parents, siblings and kids all grew up here and love everything about this place. Views, experience, food, sites, parks. Very beautiful place to grow up and/or visit.

I liked it alot and I was just passing thru for business. Will go back to try some of the food and drink shops.

Great small downtown for an afternoon stroll. Plenty of small shops and restaurants. Stop by the pier afterwards.

Very nice area. Wide variety of restaurants, shops, boutiques. Venice Community Center and Library are nearby. Venice Beach is close by as well.

Covid19 cannot stop the spirit of this town! What a beautiful place...and if youre a foodie there are some of the best cafes there. Lets not forget the shopping! Quaint little shops and some of the nicest vendors I have ever met. A must if you visiting or living on the gulf.

Definitely worth it to visit. Especially after season. Streets are almost empty and quiet, peaceful.

Great little area for shopping and finding gifts if your a visitor to the area. nothing better then being able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather and the great Italian foods this area offers.the only wish i have in downtown is maybe more selection of food options and wish the stores had longer opening hours as not always able to get down here by 5pm when some places close, other than that great place to see.

Beautiful landscaping, charming little stores, cozy restaurants with good selection of food for all tastes. Live music is usually performed on Fridays night downtown. Its fun and enjoyable!

Went for the Christmas parade, what a great parade just shy of two hours long filled with great floats, and happy smiling people. I would highly recommend it for family of all ages. I will be going again as I have just gained a new tradition for decades to come. Very well done Venice. The lighting was good, the security was excellent, the level of organization from start to finish was stellar, the people are extremely friendly a good way to get into the Christmas spirit after Thanksgiving.

Venice Avenue in the heart of Venice, FL during the March Fine Arts Show. This annual March event was held just before the series of CDC recommendations suggesting restrictions of such activity. A beautiful late winters day.

Continue to love the stroll down this street! Start in the morning and grab a croissant or scone and tea from one of two bakeries that open at 8am, my preference is the French Croissant and Co. Most of the shops are open by 10am and are filled with Florida souvenirs, a comfy yet stylish shoe shop and a great wine and gift shop at front corner. They have great customer service and if youre looking for unique, they have flavored Florida wines which you can taste too! Then stay for lunch and eat on the patio at one of locales!Enjoy

Beautiful city inn the gulf. This little island city has come a very long way in the past 10 years, finally have a selection of delicious restaurants. Always free parking. Easy to walk the 3 main avenues and visit great boutiques. One off the prettiest and cleanest cities pub the Gulf of Florida. Period!

Theres no place like Venice for a great downtown experience, and an old world feel. The shops are very reasonable and the food is great! And just blocks from the beach!

If you are familiar with the Hallmark TV movies, you will feel right at home here. One of our favorite events, is the live music in the park,FREE.

Interesting shops, pedestrian friendly, plenty of restaurants but bring your wallet.

Great place to visit! Quaint, and a little pricey. Theres a decent variety of shops and restaurants. Events held here are always fun. Parking is rarely a huge hassle like most downtowns

Downtown Venice has, so far, maintained its comfortable charm in the face of over-development elsewhere in the county. New stores and boutiques will need to go through adjustment period. Many changes, mostly good

Beautiful place! Venice use to be a hidden gem, but the last ten years the cat has been out of the bag and it is getting way more populated. I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND WHY... Its one of the most beautiful places in the United States, and I highly recommend checking out historic downtown. Great for leisurely walks and shopping. You wont be disappointed!

Venice has a fun downtown. Good restaurants, shops and galleries. Worth the trip and I will go back.

Great place for shopping, lunch, and/or dinner. Take a lazy stroll around, and find gifts, jewelry, clothing, great food, antiques, and thrift stores.

Each one of the workers were rude in all the stores we visited. We found beautiful and a great variaty of nice and unique items, but we didnt feel welcome in any of the stores we came in.

Construction right now is a hindrance. I suggest the shops and restaurants open in the evenings till 10:00 pm while construction is going on. Get more restaurants that are American cuisine, there’s mostly just Italian, which is fine but I’d like more choices.
