Wonderful park in downtown. Christmas time is magical. People have decorated trees in unique ways with special themes. After sundown it is very special. Cool breeze, beautiful lights and a nice stroll. Not crowded. Lots of parking.

This is a lovely asset to Venice. Thanks to Monty Andrews and volunteers and tree donors and sponsersThe paths include identication of many trees and three sculptures of Florida animals. The donors decorate during the Winter Solstice time.

Sadly they messed it up as its no longer accessable from any parts along main Street as fence has been placed to block any pedestrian traffic from anywhere. The fence obstructs movement to ends of street crossings no longer accessable from any other areas. Then newly planted palms are planted so close friends are going to knock each others hearts out as they grow & high winds sad that very little thought went into such important area.

Its a beautiful place! Trees and flowers blossom throughout the year. Trees are decorated in December and its wonderful to walk through at night.

This is a great place to look at different flora and see how they look as fairly mature specimens. Very quiet and peaceful walk with a good number of the specimens labeled.
