Water so clear you can see lots of fish and colors so awesome you have to smile. It was hot, but the breeze was solid. Got to see lots of fish and dolphins, plus some full time shenanigans with people passing by on their boats.Great day out and about and highly recommend stopping by.

This park is slightly off the beaten path, I googled parks after a ride down Legacy trail. Let’s just say it was a delightful little place for a picnic lunch or maybe a little fishing. There’s even a cute little lunch place if you didn’t pack your lunch. It was peaceful and the view was amazing!

This is a very sunny spot and home to “Casey Pass” the pass that leads to the main Venice Harbor. You are able to watch boat traffic as it goes by, do some fishing and potentially see some dolphins like we did. All of the fisherfolk were very friendly and some even caught some fish while we were there.

This is a great place for fishing, for viewing wildlife and for watching the sun set. The Jetty Jacks food stand has good hot dogs.

Wonderful place with some epic views. I saw pelicans, an egret, dolphins, and various other fish and birds I dont know the names of.My friends and I came down here to take it in and watch the boats come in and out of the inlet.Water was beautiful and the people were pretty friendly. Pretty cool place!

The South Jetty doesnt show up on the tourist map, yet its the best place in the city to watch the sunset. Dolphins and pelicans often come here to play, surrounding the fishermen and others who come out to the jetty. Parking is tight, but there always seems to be a spot open, and its free parking. Even the bathrooms are pretty good. On stormy and windy days, you can come out here to watch the waves crash against the rocks of the jetty to send huge sprays into the air. Theres always a new surprise here.

A great place to take your family! Nice jetty to fish from...we saw tons of dolphins..birds..the kids saw an octopus caught there by a fisherman and saw it climb back into the water! Nice bathrooms at the entrance..benches all the way down the right side of the parking to sit and enjoy the water and boats coming in..on the left side parking there are picnic tables! There is a concession stand with the restroom area to grab some waters.. nice beach a few yards away from the Jett.. never seems crowded at the beach.. IF YOU come around 4 you can get a great parking place and stay until the sunset which is beautiful! If you try to come later than 4/4:30 it is veryyy unlikely to get parking and the stress from fighting for one is crazy. So come early and enjoy the evening!!!

I especially love the sunsets and dolphins that you see when you go visit this place. You should arrive early so you can parking is limited and handicap is available.

I love this area!!! You can splash in the waves or go to the more private areas for calm waters and shaded areas. Dolphins will honor you with their presence. You dont have to pack a lunch because they give you plenty of options to choose from.The jetty seems to set things off beautifully.

Fishing anoche was fun

One of the most peaceful places on this earth. I was able to see manatees, sharks, dolphins, and countless water birds. Absolutely stunning place for sunsets. I hope I find myself back there soon.

Quiet place that used to be an Indian Camp. Yes, my Mom and Dad have a bench there, as Dad passed In 2016.

Great way to spend the day or just part of the day. Go out and enjoy the beach or bring a fishing rod and do some fishing on the jetty. The location has many amenities to make the day one to remember. I spent a good amount of time watching surfers on long boards

There is lots of parking for usual beach use. There are outdoor showers and restrooms that are kept fairly clean. During peek times there is a concessions.

Awesome views

I love to take my family and go to the South Jetty Park .beautiful sunset! However this visit was marred by the appearance of two dogs on the beach. The signs clearly show no dogs allowed at this beach! There is a specific dog beach to go to when you want to enjoy your dog at the beach. I truly dont understand why people think they and their dog are the exception to the rule.

On Saturday, right at sunset, it was overcast but beautiful. We walked all the way to the end and watched at least 9 dolphins feeding. LOTS of sea shells piled up on the beach. We filled up ALL our pockets!

Beautiful park. Watched the pelicans diving in hordes to get fish and all the locals gathering bait. Beautiful sunset and great fishing spot.

Relaxing, enjoyable place to visit. We love going yo watch the sunset over the gulf. There are always many people there fishing. If you are watching close you might get to see dolphins playing in the gulf. We would recommend making this a place to stop if you are in the area.

Just plain nice place to sit and watch the water or even fish

Nice water color and combination as the blues of the river mix with the turquoise of the Gulf. Lots of fisherman on the pier walkway and lots of pelicans and egrets fishing as well. The unique twist compared to other Fl beaches is the pelicans swam and dove for fish and flew within a couple feet of us as we bobbed up and down in the surf. It is scenic here.

Centrally located in downtown Venice Florida with free parking and a fun series of fountains for cooling off and children play.

A great place to fish and open all night for it. You can rent a small boat over at the crows nest restaurant and get bait there too. Call for their hours because they close at night. There are benches on the jetty to watch the water and it is beautiful. Parking is limited though so have a plan b.

We pulled up to the dock and ordered Chinese food then spent the night out by the other sailboats and left in the morning.

The place is gorgeous and needs to stay this way. A beautiful place to watch the sunrise and sunset. Fishing isnt bad. Unfortunately it attracts people from all of the world and many of them could care less about picking up their messes and the parking lot can be very difficult to get in and out of and can be very limited

Always loved coming here but was pleasantly surprised to find the hot dog stands open at both of the jettys. Especially loved the Kahlua Ice cream...yum!!!
