I have been going to the Prentiss French park for about 2 years now with my son. It has a huge area for playing, several playground structures and it also offers a walking trail that circles the park. Additionally, it has bbqs for use and many picnic tables that I have seen birthday parties and other occasions put to good use. Its fairly shady and there are several benches so for parents who want a rest while their little one plays, its a comfortable and fun atmosphere.

LOVE this place! The food is awesome. Service is great. Theres nothing bad I can say. Everytime I go its a great meal. You wont go away feeling bloated but youre full. Its amazing. Make reservations its easier.

Prentiss French is named after a landscape designer hired by John Nolan who was the master planner for the city of Venice. Prentiss French Park has a walking Loop and a kids playground and some picnic tables and a barbecue stand very nice pocket park on the island of Venice

My larp group has practices here and its shaded field is perfect. Nice new tables and a lot of room. My fiancee likes to bring her daughter here too for the playground. In fact weve had every one of her birthdays there so far. Would recommend for any family outing.

Shady park with very good play equipment including a double face-to-face swing for one small and one bigger person. Picnic tables, walking path and easy parking or walking from downtown.

Nice park within walking distance to Venice Beach

Prentiss is one of our favorite parks because it has a nice walking/biking trail, plenty of room to run or throw the ball, benches to sit and enjoy a picnic and plenty of different playground equipment for all ages.
