We were in this beautiful square for the Six Feet Under Savannah Tour with Ghostown Tours. This is a beautiful square located near Bay St. What we liked a lot about this location was the parking garage and beautiful scenery.

One of Savannahs many beautiful squares named in honor of Boston, Massachusetts native, Dr. Joseph Warren, who just a few days after receiving a generals commission in the Continental army lost his life at the Battle of Bunker Hill. Many believe had Warren not died that day, he likely would have led that army, not Washington, and also likely would have been Americas first president. The square is surrounded by mostly Colonial era homes, convenietly located just off Bay Street, and within easy walking distance to River Street, The Olde Pink House Restaurant and Tavern, and the Pirate House Restaurant and Tavern.

Lots of historical monuments in this area. A must go place to just stroll around and take in the sites.

Warren Square is a quiet slice of heaven allowing one to reflect on those things that really matter while watching squirrels, birds and dogs attend to their most basic needs --

Not much to say, it’s a square park. We stayed in n a cottage adjacent to Warren Square. It’s a nice square with grass and oak trees. Someone had a catered event one evening and it was very pretty.
