An open air salute to a 1779 bad loss for the Americans to control the Savannah River area. Located in the downtown area this park next to the railroad and Savannah museum gives tribute to the Revolutionary war battle of the US, French and Polish against the British, German and Scots with a great win for the European Government. Worth a stop.
A moving memorial brought to life by outstanding, well-informed reenactors. A must for anyone visiting Savannah.
Free and interesting. Its on the way to the railroad museum so worth a visit.
