Today I went to play soccer. Scrimmage games start at 5:30pm, Tuesdays & Thursdays. Its bee a while I havent played soccer in a while. Sure enough we kept scoring goals and all the dudes having a good workout. You could also play basketball, football, and in the playground. Also you can go for a walk or a nice jog.

Ive lived in San Diego for 40+ years and up until last year I never knew this park and rec existed. My sons basketball team moved practices for a local high school to Montgomery-Waller park and its been great ever since. During the spring and summer we can play outside and work out before we go into the gym for practice. Safe park, no gangs, no drugs or bad people. Family park and highly recommended.

Well I grew up there playing little league baseball. Then I coached pop Warner football and won I.B. Pop Warners 1st Championship. A great group of kids that we believed in and they believed in us. None the less its a great family park!

I liked the open space that this place offers. Even if theres a lot of people, its so big that you can have your space.Especially important now during covid. There is a playground that is currently closed and actually needs remodelling..I wish this place had more trees throughout the park but it does have a few rows of nice trees here and there to get some shade.Parking is ok.One huge downside is the porta potty. Gross. Definitely not recommend for families.3 stars seems too little, 4 stars a little too much. Probably 3.5

Beautiful park to spend an afternoon watching the sunset, great flower fields in Sprint for pictures. So much space for so many things to enjoy. My kids grew up growing there and now my grandkids do too.

Great park. It is massive. Has multiple basketball courts, 2 playground on different sides of the park, and a community center. Definitely a great place to have an event or spend the day with friends/family.

Very beautiful park. They offer many activities, classes and movies. Catch a sunset or take advantage of one of the free classes. Its huge! There are vacant fields and sidewalks that connect to another play area. Baseball fields, indoor and out door basketball courts. Hills to bomb on skateboard s scooters or bikes.

It is a place were I took my kids when they wear little and now I take my granddaughter nice and clean, with a trail walk

This park has one of the biggest grass area thats been around for a long time . Great for walking, jogging. Sidewalks will take you all around. Baseball fields, pop warner and soccer uses it for practice... home of the Chiefs football . Sign ups and practices. Has a couple of different old playgrounds. This park is always maintained.

The view is spectacular! Nice place to do your walking to get in your excersice!! Pet friendly. Activities. Santa in a helicopter! What more could you ask for??!!

Big park in the southbay. This place has it all from ok. Maybe not horses,but definetely multi sports. Nice place to walk dogs. Or hang out. The Rec center is cool offering many activities overall. enjoy.

The soccer field suck.... definitely not how they used to be 10 years ago

9:30am and still no open restrooms. People here are ghetto. They dont pick up after their dogs. And kids from the nearby high school ditch and hang out here.

Nice clean

It is a nice park consumed mostly by kids soccer practice and games. There are basketball courts, a ball field, a community center, and paved walks people like to run on. It is hilly with one large hill. The grass is nice and there is usually space available to do more. There are plenty of shaded spots too!

Its been my second home for the past 16 years I practice Soccer with the Aztecs FC from Mondays to Thursdays it has a buetiful view of South San Diego and the Mother Land

Always weedsmokersin the parking lots, fields are choppy at best and the play equipment for kids is outdated or broke and no escape from the sun.

Big park a lot of room but parking is small. Of the whole park only one bathroom of the hole park. Line is form for the ladies and then they get tired of waiting and jumping to the man side. Some will prevent men to go use the bathroom because ladies are using it.
