I Recently stayed at this property while visiting friends living in the San Diego area. This property is perfectly situated on hotel row giving access to numerous restaurants, malls, fast food locations within walking distance. Downtown San Diego is a short 5-10 minute drive for further shopping and dining along the waterfront. The staff are professional and friendly. The rooms are clean, sanitized, and perfect for a short or long stay. The rooms have a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and are equipped with dishes and utensils. On the grounds are several washers and dryers to clean clothes and a swimming pool/ BBQ area. I recommend this property.

It has a beautiful view of the water and a Air Kraft Carrier. A Beautiful view of the Mission Bay Bridge.

Great location and friendly staff. The only thing I didnt appreciate was that you hear your neighbors through both your wall and the doors, plus you can hear everything outside as well. But, with that said, it is a fantastic place to stay just out of the way enough to not feel smack dab in the middle of everything, yet close enough that you can get to most anything in 5 mins to a hour hour.

My first time out this year with the Family for Personal Reasons. We didnt know what to expect regarding Protection and Procedures. The Folks at WorldMark San Diego, were READY. We didnt need to ask, everything is well mark. And costumer services is always welcoming. The room was very comfortable, with a Kitchen (very convenient$$) it was close to the elevator (no noise) and to the complementary laundry room.Awesome place!

Stayed here as the guest of an owner. Room was perfect for our family of five. Plenty of room to spread out, well equipped kitchen. The bed was comfy and the room was clean.Due to Covid 19 there were a lot of pool restrictions, but we got the times we wanted 6 out of 7 days. Every staff member we encountered had a smile on their face and were an immediate help.The location is excellent... 15-30 minutes to everywhere. Will stay here again!

The room was absolutely disgusting when we walked in. We called and were moved to a different room, it was even more disgusting. In both rooms, there was food on the floor, thick dust on baseboards, there was food on the counter, the dishes were dirty, and it was evident that high surface areas were not cleaned properly (the fridge handle had obvious filth that wiped off with a wet paper towel). We had to leave for them to clean it and it was still not very clean when we got back, so I recleaned. Will never stay here again and wouldnt have stayed at this place if we didnt lose our points. The front desk staff was very kind, but the entire resort is dated and not well cleaned. Super 8 quality at best.

Nice resort. Very clean. Super friendly staff. No pressure tactics to buy more points as a timeshare owner. The pool is a bit small but amazing location. Close to everything you may need. Each suite has its own balcony. So nice as we could watch family members in the pool.

I dont know how these people post a good review on this place. There are roaches in this hotel. You can verify other reviews. There was a review in 2014 stating roaches. Really you still havent fixed that? Rooms smell stale! You guys need to step up your rooms. Beds are hard as a rock.

Mmm. Where to start. Good customer service and relations. However, after being a owner for over ten years, the quality and cleanliness is subpar compared to past experiences. Honestly, will not return.

We are members. This is a very nice worldmark resort, although not the nicest weve stayed in. Plenty of restaurants and a target just down the street.

Recently remodeled and modernized rooms make a short stay tolerable, but the hotel amenities and location are below average for longer stays.

Place was clean. Air Conditioner had a water leak so maintenance had to come in twice to fix it. Front desk was courteous. It took 45 minutes for them to deliver extra blankets and towels. Overall, nice place to stay

Its a home away from home! The only negative thing is that due to COVID-19 you can not use the very small pull without a reservation. Other than that, everything was good.

This place is everything a person needs to experience when it comes to an amazing comfortable and just the best Hotel I have ever stayed in. Another unique and best idea ive se is the wrist band key card and gate pass. You are doing great things and i recomend this place to anyone.

High pressure sales...unit is nice and comfortable if you get past the sales staff...we are diamond elite so we get harrased a lot because they know we can afford more but we just want to relax in what we already own....makes staying in worldmark very stressful

We went to stayed here in a one bedroom unit so we can take the kids to Legoland. It was our first time there. I liked the unit. They have a nice pool and a hot tub. They have a laundry room and you have to have exact change. They have bbq days where the staff will grill burgers and hot dogs, you can get a soda and chips. You have to pay for it of course. It was pretty good. I would like to go back and get a two bedroom next time.

We stayed here for a night before we left on a Cruise and it was perfect.We had a two bedroom place and it was actually larger than I was expecting.It was conveniently close to the freeway and several restaurants!Very clean! Friendly staff!

Wasnt as clean as I expected! Actually hair on the couch sent my allergies into a tizzy. No laundry appliances in the unit makes it inconvenient, but at least they had elevators unlike the last resort I stayed at. Staff is always so accommodating, but Id sure like just once to go to a resort and it be cleaned appropriately. This time I had my Rainbow vac with me, I decided to use it on the area rug in the living room and carpet in the bedroom to see exactly how clean it wasnt. I saved the results for the manager to see. We pay a lot to own our Vacation Club interests and to me this is unacceptable, especially when health issues are at hand.

Our units was very nice and clean and had everything you need a week away from home. Fully equipment kitchen, laundry, and nice thigs like free laundry soap, dish detergent, coffee and filter samples .the pool was not huge but nicely maintained. We did not visit the fitness center. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We did go to the presentation from Wyndam in exchange we received 2 sea world tickets . The gentlemen giving is the presentation I thought were not over pushy. It was a little longer than the quotes 90 minutes. We did pay for WiFi which was $15 for 2 devices for $10 days,but parking was free. There were always ample parking spots available. I would recommend this placeFor a visit to San Diego if you will be driving this has easy access to most got spots. Our units was 315. I would visit again .

Nicely renovated and clean. Close to convenient shopping, a Dennys, and other restaurants. Staff was nice and friendly. No In suite laundry but there is laundry services on each floor. We enjoyed our stay here and would come back again.

So we dont own here my MIL does. This is a GREAT PROPERTY! I read several things about the location (shoved in between other hotels), the rooms (complained about condition), the pool (small-no sun) and staff (pushy timeshare sales ppl). I was mentally prepared... BUT SERIOUSLY... It was great!The property has been recently renovated and it shows. From the front door, to the gym, to the rooms, and a clean & simple pool area. I loved the location, quiet & private, secluded almost... Even though youre very close to a freeway entrance. The staff was consistently friendly, our interaction with the sales ppl was informative, but not at all pushy. The rooms are WONDERFUL... Tons of storage in both rooms, clean updated bathrooms, comfy & adequate bedding. Great size. Kitchen is smaller & awkward, but it worked. We had a quick issue with our sink & a VERY FRIENDLY maintenance man was there & had it fixed in less that an hour. Parking is plentiful, SECURE and easy in & out.We explored all over San Diego from this location, lots of options neat 5 by for food & shopping. I had my groceries delivered and the staff actually put the cold items in the fridge for me!Ill be coming back!

The suite me and my family(6 people) stayed in was extremely nice and the theme was super pleasing. It was clean and comfortable. Great water pressure. Working air conditioning/heater. Just all around cool place

...The staff was wonderful. The rooms were small to me. It was my first time in San Diego so it could just be par for the course. My wife kept saying how huge I seemed in the suite. I felt like I was in the NBA or something. It was suitable though. We did have to call for the A/C unit leaking into the floor. It seems to be a problem that all of the units have from time to time.

The place is OK. This was definitely not the place I was envisioning staying at for a week vacation. I suppose I was misinformed on what to expect during my stay here with the Discovery Program that Wyndham sells or sold.Pros:- Location (close to the highway and easy to get to attractions)- Parking Availability (probably the season? Winter) + Gated- Remodeled Unit- Friendly front desk staff (gave us a complimentary movie & popcorn)Cons:- No room service (cleaning, making bed, refreshed coffee, condiments, shampoo, fresh towels, etc) - not sure why its advertised as a hotel or resort (Google definition: The hotel is the place which provides facilities like accommodation and meals for the travelers or tourists, whereas the resort is the holiday or the recreational spot that provides much more than the lodging and meals)- You can hear through the walls / floor- No view (specially if youre in the first floor but also there are many surrounding buildings that block a view + highway)- Have to pay for internet and it DROPS every few minutes ($15 for the week for 2 devices... really?)- Miscellaneous inconveniences: towels are rough, linens look / feel old, TV is small, AC is LOUD, temperature is great BUT water pressure is LOW, no outlets by the bed- We had to attend a Wyndham 1-hr meeting to discuss our membership and EVEN the sales reps stated that we were given one of the worst locations in the program in San Diego... So, even the companys reps state the resort or hotel or whatever this is, isnt even comparable to the other locationsI definitely feel like we overpaid (for the credits used) for our stay here. We could have paid MUCH less at a mid- to high-end hotel with an ocean view, room service, and great location.

Nice property but bad area. I walked from the property to the mall & theatres. Lots of homeless folks & garbage.

Friendly staff and a very nice resort. One of the little things I really liked was that they actually had some spices (dried garlic, Oregano, basil, etc in little packets in the kitchen just in case you want to cook. The basement parking was nice if a little cramped at times. I didnt get to use the pool etc but they looked nice.

Hot tubs too small. Only fits 4 people. Other than that its nice

As a place to stay, its wonderful. The sales pitch wasnt. 90 minutes was promised, was over 4 hours before we finally got out of there. Bryan was amazing, but Phil wasnt, once we took the survey and said how happy we were with their concept but it wasnt financially feasible right now. Mr. Nasty and Rude showed up. If we were interested in the future, that destroyed it.

It was bit fancier than I expected. The rooms are big and the balcony over looks the pool. The living space is decent sized as well.

Only visited for a few hours but...the staff was extremely friendly upon arrival and attentive to our needs in the room. Very clean and personally I enjoyed the wall art. For a local San Diego girl it was perfect and a great central location....it may not be what a tourist is looking for but I would assume that WorldMarks other locations nearby might be what a tourist would look for.Perfect place for a ladies night or a kick back.

This location did in a pinch. Not as convenient as Balboa Park WorldMark. Did not have the neighborhood vibe and easy walking access to restaurants and shops. Also missed the easy walk to Balboa Park. However, it did have a pool and hot tub, although you give up the rooftop view of Balboa Park WorldMark. Probably would not stay here again as it also has the sales located in the lobby so you have to walk the gauntlet every day LOL.

It is centrally located. The staff goes out their way to accommodate you. The room accommodates my family of five. Free parking is a plus. My only issue is the 32 inch TV. It is really small.

We love San Diego and WorldMark! The amenities were not so great. We never got to sit in the hot tub because there was a family that took the entire tub the whole time we were there. Also, the pool is pretty small compared to the size of the resort. The washer and dryers were laundry mat style and not in the comfort of our private rooms. However, the location is perfectly located in the middle of everything.

Our 2-br suite was big and well equipped. Everything was clean and seemed to be newly renovated. The only downside was their concierge invited us to a timeshare presentation but disguised it as a free breakfast which was a gift. I would appreciate it if they were honest upfront rather than not telling us the truth of their intentions. I guess next time I stay in a Worldmark property I should always suspect something when they offer anything free.

Weve stayed here once before and remember having a decent experience. Its better than your local motel for sure. A nice well stocked kitchenette, decently sized rooms, an option for a pull out bed in the couch.. There isnt much to complain about with the rooms themselves. I believe it could use a little upkeep here and there (ie. Loose faucets, smelly ac units, ect) but the problem is with the other guests. Its a cheaper timeshare hotel compared to others in the area and therefore attracts a typical clientele. Not all, but some. Which tends to make the public areas a little uncomfortable due to the lack of consideracy. The front desk associates seemed less than enthused about their job. Barely making eye contact or even acknowledging you when you pass by. If you dont require any special assistance or make any special requests than your stay should be top notch.

We went over Thanksgiving week. The weather was a little iffy - but what can you expect in November!Very nice resort. Each floor plan is a little different. I peeked in two different 2-bedroom 2-bath floor plans. All three were completely different.Now, to address the views. There really are not any. Some actually look into the dirt of the hill. Others look over the street. Others face each other into a courtyard. If you want to sit on your balcony and enjoy the view, chose a different resort. Enough.Parking is underground. Might be a little tight for a full-sized extended cab, 8 bed truck. Our Subaru did just fine.This resort is close to Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park and the ocean! Literally less than 10 minute drives. There is a Costco just across the freeway.Oh - there are no washers/dryers in the units - BUT - there are pleanty full-sized washer/dryers to use on each floor. You need a key-card to enter the room, so your laundry is safe :).The staff were attentive. The concierges were most helpful.The reason for 4-stars was the high pressured, almost made me cry, sales people. Do not believe them when they say it will only be 30 minutes (or even 60 minutes). They will pressure you forever. Yes, you can get up and leave - but.... you want the stupid gift card, right? So there you sit. Let me get my manager. Let me make a call. Ugh. Yes, I am an owner of WorldMark (for over 20 years). This was one of the worst experiences ever! You have been warned.With that being said, I would stay there again, especially if I wanted to visit any of the big San Diego attractions.

We absolutely loved staying here! The front desk was great and very accommodating. The location is perfect to get anywhere and with Target, Starbucks and great restaurants less than 5 minutes away we had everything we needed. I didn’t experience the pushy sales people that others mentioned. I was waiting for them but nothing. If you stay in a one bedroom the bathroom is inside the bedroom so that might be a consideration for some. The only complaint we have is that the parking can be pretty cramped but we were always able to find something inside the lot. Can’t wait to return next year!

This world mark was the typical type however there were no carpets. The game hard wood flooring was really nice and the entire place had a nice look. There were a few restaurants close by and a shopping mall. The trolly station was across the freeway at one of the malls so downtown would be accessible without a car. I would stay here again.

This is not a fancy, high-end resort, but it is in a super-convenient Mission Valley location close to freeways, shopping, restaurants, movie theaters and a short drive to Balboa Park, SeaWorld, downtown San Diego, the San Diego Zoo, the airport and more. The units are clean and comfortable with nice kitchens. There are typical amenities including outdoor grills on which you can bbq.

Pros:1) Central location to many activities in San Diego2) Service is very good and friendly3) People who stay here are very friendlyCons:1) A/C unit did not work at all!!! So Hot the entire week we were there2) Only one person could connect to the wifi the entire visit.3) The pool is way too small for the number of people visiting. Literally no space to move or kids to play in the evening.4) You can tell the unit was remodeled recently with the cheapest finishing and furniture possible. Looks like a BAD do-it-yourself project5) The couches and pull-out bed extremely uncomfortable! Couches stiff as a rock and no way to lounge/relax. Pull-out couch felt like it was 30 years old. You could feel EVERY spring.Please note- As a owner in the timeshare system, Im used to the quality of resorts WorldMark typically offers.. If you are used to a standard motel 8, then you may be impressed. As a whole, the timeshare chain is very impressive. However, WorldMark should be extremely embarrassed to have this specific location apart of their high class chain.

We love love our time shares but hate the sales pitches we are constantly put through. They conned us into one when we were promised they wouldnt do that to us or our friends and gave us things and still promised no sales pitches. So they lied to us to make their money. No reguard to us saying no no. Lies lies. Very dissatisfied. Hate liars!!!!!. At any cost!!!. We were promised. Liars.

Just a place to stay for the night. Everything is clean. A lot smaller than other Worldmark but its close to everywhere I needed to be. Nothing special. Very basic amenities. Then again, its not the kind of resort where you spend your day-out a place to sleep and recharge.

We stayed in a two bedroom suite. Basically like an apartment. We love that we had a full kitchen and everything that we needed to use it. It was easy to get extra Linens and extra bathroom supplies. Everything was completely clean. I like that they had thermostat controls on the wall instead of at the window. The front desk staff was amazing, I didnt care for the due to the concierge he was very pushy. The water pressure in my room wasnt great, but that wouldnt stop me from staying again. They did carry toothbrushes at the desk if you needed one. The parking is underground and is behind a gate. It was a little difficult to park my newer Dodge Caravan, but I was able to each time. Oh my God the best thing about our stay, was the complementary washers and dryers and they provide laundry soap and a hamper. This made traveling with all three of my kids, my sister and her three kids so much easier! I cant wait till we get to stay here again.

Needs updating, contains the bare necessities

Air BnB a unit here for comic con. Its close to shuttle bus for the event. We got a 2 bedrooms 2 bath apartment with kitchen n living room. Very nice quiet hotel. Staff are very friendly. You get parking in a parking garage. Will stay again next year if we get tickets to the event again.

The unit was very nice. The only thing is they dont have washers in the rooms like other worldmark resorts. But otherwise very nice experience.

Nice spot. Our family owns a time share and this was our first visit to the San Diego location. The suite was quaint. Had simple beach decor. Full kitchen stocked with some basic utnesils and essentials allowed us to go grocery shopping and cook as if we were at home. The resorts location is awesome as well. Close to plenty of shops, restaurants, downtown and the beach. Overall great experience.

Always a pleasure staying here. The rooms are so well decorated with a fun ocean theme and they are always perfectly clean. The staff is always very friendly as well. Love the free parking and amenities. We stay here frequently as I have kids who live near that I come visit. This is always my first choice when looking for accommodations in San Diego

Its a nice place

It is family friendly. I was able to stay with my best friends (family of 4) & my family (family of 4). We had plenty of space & the full kitchen is a money saver. We were able to make breakfast for a quarter of the cost to eat @ a restaurant. The location is quiet & tucked in the corner which is nice. Parking is a parking garage which is located under the resort. Staff was friendly & helpful.

Sales staff was super agressive and rude and went so far as to tell lies to keep us at the table. The one bedroom rooms are awkward as the bathroom is inside the bedroom so your kids have to travel through the room all night. Our room was in need of repairs that should have been taken care of before we arrived. The maintenance staff was great to make the repairs quickly other wise I would be giving a one star. Pool area is too small for the size of the complex. We were over all disappointed with this resort.

Poor amenities. I have seen bath tubs with more room than the hot tub here. In dire need of better amenities. Decent rooms, and local.

It was a nice quiet place and the room had full kitchen. Shopping mall 4 minutes away and lots of eateries around.
