Great little spot to stop during a walk. Nice walking trail along this part of the lake. Many people out enjoying the summer. This is a nice little spot, but dont expect to be alone!
Fun park. Had a little area for smaller kids to get in besides the stairs that go to a 2 ft deep area. We visited close to the end of may and the bathrooms werent open yet which was not great. We pick parks that have bathrooms when you have a little person. It doesnt seem like its maintained often but it was clean from the areas we did visit. The parking isnt ideal as it is across the road and up a hill, there also is not a lot of it. We will be back when it warms up and hopefully the bathrooms are open
Its a pretty small beach, the whole playground is sandy so there is ample sand for sand play. The bathrooms are not open most of the year (they dont open until sometime in June). Not obvious where to park unless you read the website (across the street on Burnett Ave are several parking spaces). If you live nearby its probably a fine little park, definitely not worth driving to. There are both baby swings and regular swings and a covered picnic area.
Pretty nice park. Definitely not wheelchair accessible, but decent swimming area. Very limited space.
The locals call this place beer bottle beach. Have always loved it here.
Sweet little park located on Lake Washington. Sweeping views, great sand beach, playground, grassy area and public restrooms.
A beautiful place to swim and relax
My favorite place to swim, parking sucks.
Go to any other beach.
Small park in residential area, no parking.
Amazing view great to end your day both romantically or with friends. You can also feel free to feed the ducks
Nice little well-kept beach park. And I do mean little. This park is pretty small, but it is quite nice with a swimming dock and sectioned off area for swimming. The beach area with sand is only about 10 feet wide or so; not many kiddos can get in there and play in the sand at the waters edge, but its mainly intended for launching canoes and kayaks anyways. Not a lot of parking around, as I believe it is a park mostly intended for neighborhood residents use.
Nice lol park
Love it here.
Had a great time. Pretty safe for kids. Its Rocky sand till you get a couple feet into the water, and then its just rocks. The kids didnt mind, but I was more comfortable with water shoes than barefoot. Good facilities, theres a lifeguard. Shallow end is roped off and you have to pass a swim test to go beyond. There are some tables under a canopy, but other than that, no shade at all. The ducks are a little persistent, but not mean.
I had a job close by so swung into the park such a nice park
Great view
We go to this park regularly because its close. So 2 stars for convenience.Great swim area for toddlers as theres 5 lifeguards who like to over police. However if youre a teenager or adult that likes to have fun swimming this is not the park for you.Park is small and sits close to all the high speed boat traffic making the water choppy.Very small playground. Not an easy park to access for those with disabilities. If youre hot and dont want to drive another 30 minutes, this parks for you.
Awesome park
I like to swim here.
Good place to launch kayak but make sure you get back before park closes otherwise be prepared to climb over barb wire fence, I know by experience:(
Good swimming place, very little parking.
Small lake Washington beach park. Has sand area, kids playground and roofed area with couple picnic tables. Views of Mercer island, Renton and south Seattle shoreline. Beach usually is not too busy. Parks parking is small and usually all taken on sunny weekends, but plenty of street parking available. There arent any BBQ stations. The best thing I like about this beach, it doesnt have lifeguards. People and kids can jump from the dock all they want, unlike most other local beach parks where some rediculuos rules are being enforced.
Amazing little play area, great for the kids.
I ride my bike by here a lot. It is a small beach that is rarely busy even during the hottest days of summer.
Love this park. Its like a giant sandbox for my son to play in.
Bathrooms closed and you cant walk your dogs their.
Nice and peaceful park good for children
Cute teeny tiny beach with a playground and a dock
Great view little hidden spot. Good place to take young kids during summer.
No camplaints. People r nice
Great place to swim..
Super small beach access. The kids toys are over the sand which seems cool, but the sand is not soft. My 3 yr took a tumble but the sand scratched her leg good. Great beach for swimmers though!
Great day with the kids
Nice quiet park. Clean with playground
Quiet place... Lovely sunset
There are like 8 parking spots. Its like a publicly funded beach for the affluent part of Renton.
Wasnt crowded. Everyone was safe and respectful. Excellent location. Clean. Fun. Id take family again and share with friends.
Beautiful view...
Kennydale Beach has been the spot to go swimming since my mother was little. She used to walk to this beach for swim lessons in the summer. Most famous amongst local youth for dock jumping into the deep end. Lifeguards on site during the summer. See posted hours. Parking is pretty limited. Grassy area on one end, sandy play area on the other. Kennydale Beach is tiny and hidden compared to its Big Brother Coulon located just down the way.
Good controlled swim area. Weeds on surface in swim lane when calm. Better if choppy.
Nice beach.
Wonderful place very clean. I just wish that the restrooms were open every day.
Good place to swim
Not bad, small, park up the hill
Small and not much parking but a very nice spot usually not too crowded. That is why I like it
Nice swimming area not too crowded
Wonderful for kids and families to hang out
Kennydale Beach Park is small park with clean sand, a small swimming area and during most of the summer life guards from noon to close. There is also a deep water swimming section and lap lane (~70 yds). I come here to swim laps for my triathlon training. Lots of families and a very safe environment. Again its small, if you live in the area it is worth checking out. But not really worth the drive if you dont :)
Family friendly a very good place. Horrible parking though
Wonderful neighborhood park. Has both a swimming & play area
Perfect views are any time if the day
Not too busy. Great playground and beach. Attentive lifeguards.
Great spot!!
I enjoyed everything
Wasnt busy, had life guards, and steps into the water. Very nice.
Beautiful place
Very nice lakeside Park that is rarely packed.
My favorite place to swim close to home!
Peaceful neighborhood place.
I like this park because its usually less crowded and more private.
Kennydale beach park is a great place to walk!!!!
Awesome view
Great place for kids
Beautiful view
Super spot out of the way! A gem.
Clean, uncrowded and great view
No lifeguards before 12 noon.
Silent beach park with kids play area
Crowded and dirty.
Small and poor accessibility
