We stopped here to eat our lunch from Burger Addict down the road. Lots of parking and tables, though not many in the shade. The river below was busy with people floating in innertubes. Well maintained, restrooms, dog poop stations which I always appreciate.

Where the bridge is can be one of the starting points to get on the river (using inflatable tubes, kayaks/canoes, etc). There is a parking lot and can get full quickly in the afternoon and weekend. There is a small bathroom that has a couple stalls on the womens side and can presume that its similar in size to the mens. There are different trails straight away from the bridge.Finding a docking point to get down from the bridge and onto the river is challenging because there is no safe path. However, it is manageable with extreme caution. There are several docking spots throughout the river, but you just need to find one. We, on the other hand, carefully went down the slope next to the bridge. There is one area where many people and their doggies gather to swim or simply hang out on the side or wade by the riverbed. The river has plenty of surprises - most of the time, the river is constantly flowing fast and there are some deep and shallow areas, boulders, and (tree) trunks along the way. Overall, a nice and manageable river to enjoy using any floating device.

This is a good park for a picnic. Lots of shaded areas. Bathrooms leave a little to be desired... But at least they have bathrooms. The Cedar River Trail runs right along this park, too.

This is a great area to walk on a nice day. Theres usually enough parking that getting a spot is easy. The trail runs along the river and it is a nice flat stroll.

My family and I went inter tubing down cedar river and ended out our trip here. Not very accessible for disabled or elderly people. Depending on the time of day it might not be the most child friendly place either.

A wonderful family picnic spot with several unique features. Plenty of parking, then cross the pictured bridge over the Cedar river to a large open grassy area where several picnic tables and a shelter are next to a space large enough for a soccer game, volley ball and more. Restroom and tap water. If you want, you can proceed to the Cedar river trail for a Walk or bike ride through groves of Alder trees to Renton - or 20 miles toward Enumclaw! Enjoy.

I had originally planned to go hiking, but my companions (Mom and her grandson) decided to take me to their favorite stroll park.Although the terrain was paved and flat, I was able to make it challenging. with the weather as hot as its been this summer, I was so glad that I was carrying water. Our plan is to bring a larger group with us next time.p.s. for those Pokemon Go players, theres quite a bit to capture and spin along the way. had I been on a Mountain Hike, I wouldnt have encountered that Scyther in research and set my Wailmer to defend the gym there for 37hrs and counting.

This place has so much potential.. But the simple Fact of the matter is that teenagers and adults smoking weed and jumping from the bridge every single time we come Here, ruins it as a family spot. I shouldnt have to have my kids subjected to booze weed and bad language while trying to keep cool and relax. They need better monitoring here and possibly a security or police presence every once in awhile.

Nice park, large open grass areas, covered picnic area plus several other not covered tables. There is a public restroom and drinking fountain. No direct access to the river but if you take a short walk east on the cedar river tail to an old railroad bridge there is water access there.
