What a nice quite park in the middle of town.

Clean, beautiful, peaceful. Adjacent to Cedar River, a wonderful place to bring the kids to play and enjoy the beauty.

Well designed play structures that offer variety and arent too crowded. Mulch/beaty bark base/ground cover under the play equipment. Some nice grassy area and covered gazebo as well. Sits right along river for enjoyable environs

I really liked this playground when my daughter was very young. Id say 3 and under. Not very big, almost nobody ever there, and good toys for young kids.

Cute little playground. There is a paved trail along the river so there is easy walking access.

Its a nice little park, there are three tables and they have grills set next to them. Its was quiet, but I was there on a Wednesday at noon. It has a very nice view of the sound. We had a very nice picnic. In these days being what they are I would recommend bringing a table cloth

Nice, quiet small park along the cedar river. Bird watching, Salmon watching and people sit in the river.

This park is spacious, with a childrens play set, several benches, with some adjacent to that play area and others tucked into corners and removed from the kids, plus there are stairs to a lower level comprising the river embankment, where a row of additional benches face the river from each bank. On my recent visit, an actual duck

This park is both secluded and beautiful! A creek with plenty of room to sit/walk your furry buddys! A playground for the kiddos! Not many ppl show up here but its comfortable for everyone!

Nice little park. Ive used it as a meeting place for several things (like OfferUp). Always had Pokemon for the kids.

Lots of space for me and my dog to run around. Also it is great to have the river right there

I come here to see what kind of rocks are around. On my most recent visit there were fish spawning upstream. It was exciting to watch for my kids and myself. Always nice to visit the river here.

Pretty quiet, almost secluded. Main road is just down the street but not directly on the main road. Trees give great shade away from the suns heat. Great little playground for the kids.

Id give it 5 stars but the homeless and addicts that hang out here during the day bring my rating down. Otherwise, weve always enjoyed this park

Very clean. Nice toys. Plenty of benches. Big great area. Right by the river (but not too close for little ones).

I like it its calm and relaxing the river is dangerous for small ones to fall in and I hate renton but other than that pretty clean and fun nature within the city

Plane enthusiasts enjoy this park as you can view Renton Airport . Nature is also enjoyable as you eill see many birds and perhaps the salmon run. The paths are smooth and clean. It is a very accessible park that connects and continues along the Ceder river. All can enjoys

This park is surprisingly nice. Its right by the water and the shade is great on a hot day. Sadly though the lower ramp near the water was closed. But thatll open up soon hopefully.

It was great to sit and feed the ducks, and the occasional seagull. Just might do it again tomorrow lol.

I enjoyed watching the steelhead fish running

A nice small Riverside park with a play area for the children and restrooms for your comfort. Street parking only.

Bathroom closed for winter at the beginning of fall, but lots of fun for the little ones.

Good road side park with river access. Good for summer time fun. Play area is good too. Not a big one but still good. Road side parking available only. No park parking. Access to river side trail too.

Its named after a common namesake, but it is a popular route to walk, parallel to Cedar River, Public Lib, & Renton Senior Center.

It is a small park next to the river. Has small child playground equipment. The park is usually well maintained. Backs up to apartments. The public bathrooms are often locked due to the transit homeless in the area, and vandalism.

Good little park with a new-ish playground. About 7 benches (3 on the river walk). Public bathrooms (sometimes closed do to damage). Very dog friendly (poop bags and trashcans). Well lit at night, but I do not go there when dark.

Great little park for my 2 year old. Loved all the trees and being able to see the river. Lots of people walking their dog near by.

Small little park with huge incredible trees the playground there is super clean and was a project of a friend of mines when she was a kid so the park has a great special significance to the downtown area

I want to take away a star for all the homeless creeps who pass through but luckily they dont linger and during a nice July day this park seems like a little slice of heaven with the cool river rolling by.

Small but cute, with good street parking and views of the river and the library. Just the thing for enjoying a coffee on a fall afternoon. I especially like the unique topiary.

Pretty good set of toys for the kids yo play on.

This park may not be extravagant to some. It has Its flaws. Along with the sqeakyness you hear on the swings as you go swaying back and forth. Or when you go on the slide and manage to slide down but your butt gets stuck halfway down it and wont budge until you stand up properly. But then you realize youre not so little as you were 10 years ago. The Imperfections is what makes this park perfect. This where some of my most purest moments of my childhood were made. I remember when they were taking the giant slide down to rebuild this whole new park and I remember how thrilled I was to be able to play again with my friends from across the street. Now Im 16, turning 17 next month and I cant believe how fast the years have gone. It really makes you appreciate the simple things in life. Im going back to just reminisce with my friends. When I see other kids playing on the same swings, slide, and climbing the dragon I once played on, It makes me smile and makes my heart so happy. This park may not be special to you but remember that It always is to someone. ️
