Regional hike up Cougar Mountain, 1.5 to 2 hours loop walk - great to bring a big dog (might be too long for an old or small dog). The walk is signposted but you should still familiarize yourself with the map at the car park. Theres unfortunately hardly any views albeit the hike being up a mountain. Strenuous if youre not fit, as the trek is not paved, but easy if youre in good shape. Bringing proper boots and shoes is essential.

My dog and I loved hiking up this lush green trail. There is a creek with water for your pooch to drink at the beginning and end.

A good work out, pretty, took about 2 hours round trip.

A wonderful trail system close to town. Would not suggest hiking during the rainy season. Dry weather is better.

Great trail! Although, the only thing scarier than seeing a cougar, is a cougar seeing you! According to the people right behind us a cougar was crouching next to the part of the trail we had just walked on moments before. Yikes!

Great hike - but buyer beware there is no actual Peak or View.

It kicks my butt but I am out of shape. The furbabies love it. It can get crowded though when sun is out especially summertime. Good work out though.
