My friend and I put our chairs in the shallow part of the water, sat back, got some sun and listened to the river. It was fantastic. The perfect summer day. Just make sure you bring aqua sox or something because the water is full of big slippery rocks. But its fun walking around to the other side of the river and just checking stuff out.
Not a traditional kids park in that there isnt a playground. This place has some open fields for baseball, soccer, and cricket. What I love is that you can go through some trees and okay by the Cedar river. The kids and I have a great time whenever we hang out there or game a picnic.
It’s a good park with a lot of open space. There’s a basketball court and a baseball field there but there is no play structure so it’s probably not the best for little kids. There is also a good trail to walk away from the cars nearby.
Its okay; nothing over the top. Theres a baseball field and a large grassy field. Theres also a bathroom and playground area close to the parking lot. The Cedar River Trail can be accessed straight from the parking lot also. The trail is paved & wide all the way through, making all types of exercise quite enjoyable.
Its a great place to play and enjoy yourself.
Nice weather and place to break in a new RC truck.
Big open field and a ball park. Looks fairly well maintained. Nothing spectacular, just a nice place to take the dogs for a sunny afternoon.
It has a parking lot and restrooms. You dont have to park on Maple Valley Hwy.
Good outdoor space with plenty of distance to be had. Nice walk by the river.
Really green grass lots of parking great for dogs
This park has a nice soccer field. It is also right next to the Cedar river and Cedar river trail. They have plenty of well lit parking spaces.
Nice park and very clean nice river for swimming. My dog absolutely loves this place, he has a blast swimming in the river you cant get him to leave. Definitely reccomend this place to anyone.
Have a cricket pitch and other play grounds
Great starting point for the Cedar River trail. Nice ball parks including a cricket field. and access to the river
Nice park with many facilities with 10 miles Cedar River trail next to it. You can walk or bike along the trail.
Great place for walking
Great place to relax on the river or play a game of basketball. Plenty of parking and never overcrowded. Bathrooms are available too
The river and trail was awesome!!
Its a park. Whats not to like
Nice place to have fun or to start a walk or ?
Soccer and baseball fields are great, parking is lacking adequate space
Great place to bring your dog and relax or park your vehicle while you run on the cedar River trail. Also bonus it has standard outlets that are active.
Love taking my break here
The big open fields and access to the Cedar River! Right now, the trees are in their fall colors.
Good, neat park with fields for various recreational sports. Has port-a-potties, as well. Access to the walking/running/biking pathway is nice and easy to get to. Also a safe place to play Pokémon Go or Jurassic World Alive. Closes at dusk despite some places online showing 6pm.
Grea for biking and long walks..
My favorite place to take my dogs! Lots of open green grass for them to run around on, and river-accessible too. A nice lighted full-court basketball court and softball field complete the amenities of this place.
Beautiful place. Been playing cricket here for a couple of days.
Good for cricket. It is mainly baseball ground.
Huge open area. New soccer field? Looked like the turf was removed but goal posts were still on gravel. Baseball field as well. No specific trails through the park but paved along 169. No playground, so that was a bit of a bummer.
Trash everywhere.
Love this place very peaceful, just wish people would pick up their trash and not brake bottles
Good for a on leash dog walk around the perimeter or along the cedar river trail, just be aware of cyclists its a busy trail in good weather.
Very nice well-kept park.
It has a fun trail that leads to a river!
Pretty, but not much for kids to do.
Nice cricket ground and baseball ground with lot of parking space and honey bucket facilities
The view the water and people
If you get the chance to let your dogs off leash they will have a great time. Theres a sign in the fence that shows no leashed dogs allowed so make sure they are running free or you may get in trouble
Good for biking
Good place to park and ride the bike trail
Good place. Lacks parking place during peak hours.
This is a place that has a few areas for sporting activities and a large nearby grassy area. Plenty of parking but the bathrooms are porta-potties. The far northwest corner has a trail that takes you along the Cedar River.
Always a nice place. Has a basketball court, soccer field, 2 extra fields, baseball field, and a moderately sized parking lot. Would be great for a field day for any school
Its contaminated from nearby sewer pipelines.
Right next to Cedar River Trail, open, sunny multi use space. Real good soccer field, softball and ample parking.
There is a nice river that is perfect for a picnic
Not much to do except walking your dogs
Its a nice cricket ground, however it needs lot of work around the boundary. Ground is uneven around boundary area, that can lead to serious injuries.
This park could best be described as a field park. There are several deliberate sections equipped for games like soccer, with goal nets, a baseball/softball diamond, a field for pitching cricket, and a paved basketball court. Several amateur league teams utilize Ron Regis for practice. There are three Honey bucket outhouses, one handicap accessible, which tend to be as clean as possible given that they arent hooked up with running water. The parking is ample and due to visible proximity to Maple Valley Highway and the main fields, fairly secure. Cedar River Trail runs right in front of it, and though I havent gone down to it, Cedar River runs past its eastern edge. No play structure for little kids that I know of.
Nice spot for field games. Plenty of parking. Restrooms. Conveniently located off of the highway and near a Golf Club.
This is a great softball park and thats the reason I go there. Nice field and well lit for night games. Plenty of parking too.
Great park, BB courts, baseball field, soccer field, paved bike and walking trails that run alongside the Cedar River, a few picnic tables, bathrooms
Nice looking public park, but grass is pretty beat up everywhere and dust from the dirt soccer field blows around a bit.
Only porta potties here but always well maintained.
Large parking lot that is good for meet ups. The trail directly in front of the park is in good condition and I appreciated the gravel on the side of the pavement trail. But the Cedar River Trail beyond that is much more exposed to the traffic noise and smells.
Dont like that there is only port-a-pottis
Depends on what youre looking for in a park, if that childrens play structures, then skip this place. If you expect sporting fields, then this is a decent spot.
Good place for cricket
Great park! Love it here!
Park was way cool kids acting like fools had to go
Has streetball, baseball, soccer fields and space for family fun. Would be nice if there was a water fountain.
Cricket ground outfield is not good.
Good job Ron! Amazing park! The grass always smells of green and the park itself is beautiful!
Gates are closed.
Beautiful place. Great sports complex and river fishing for the outdoorsman.
Need better porta potties. They dont even have hand sanitizer
A very good park for playing sports.
Nice place to park for using the Cedar River Trail. The park itself is okay. Kinda noisy being right on the highway.
The ground is big but its very uneven so makes running really tough an also the ball never reaches the boundary.
Always a fun place to go, nice open fields
Clean well kept
Nice place to chill
Great park, right near the river. Lots of mosquitos though.
Cool park
Good park on the Cedar River Trail. Sports fields for baseball, soccer, basketball and cricket.
Great park with lots of walking trails, soccer and baseball fields and even a cricket field!
Good spot to get on the trail, and can be fun to catch a cricket match
Quiet peaceful place very well maintained good trails along a beautiful river
The place has an incredibly magical way of taking care of all your needs.Like Santa Claus at Disneyland.
Its always clean and the basketball court is never crowded.
Theres a few different fields for sports, I used to play soccer here, but theres a trail along the cedar river in the back on a hot day yoy can expect several groups back there enjoying the water.
Beautiful park
A dirt soccer field ruins what would be a great park
Nice out of the way park with a playground and ballfield.
Nice park with lots to do and not too busy. Horrible bathrooms though.
Great scenery
Nice clean and basketball court has lights at night
Usually not a lot of people during the week in the winter time
No parking if there is a softball game and a cricket match. Softball infield is hard and dry. Port-a-potties are always disgusting and usually out of tp.
Best park next to cool bike trail
The beach.....of all beaches! Wont find better views
Cool spot
Beautiful park with water
Very calm place.
