Regret moving here. There are some lovely families residing here but there’s always that one neighbor. There is a family living here that knows the owners of the park and seem to be allowed to do whatever they want - including doing and selling all types of drugs. If they weren’t here it would be a great, affordable lovely little place to reside. Just wish they’d get kicked out already. They’ve violated every rule on the lease!

Lived here for many years. Quiet neighborhood

Hope you dont want to take a nice drive around. Some of the residents of this neighborhood are radical (in a bad way). Besides that, as a visitor at a friends house, the over all atmosphere is enjoyable, and the park is of standard quality (not falling apart).

The ad on this park is a lie. They make it look all new. Very low income. Police petrolling area. Not a place me our my girlfriend are interested in.

Dont deal with Mark Selby! I lived here when I had small kids (his brother was the mgmt.), now grown, I saw a place I wanted to buy & he (Mark) told me it would be a waste of my time, since I was now disabled & he told me my income would keep me out. Funny others have my same income & live here. I know ppl who lived here when I did (95-2001) & no one likes him as the manager. He also approved a person who I know has a felony .. but I wont be approved!?? Just drive thru & you can tell by the yard who he likes, others not so lucky. I called hud discrimination on him but he lied to them .. not surprised! Now they have a realty co. helping out lol. Karma .. all I have to say Mark! Glad I didnt get his approval Now, Im somewhere Im happy at & ppl still dealing with him are not happy.I found out he wanted to buy the place I wanted so he could make a profit on someone who had some bad luck. How sad!!

Is the absolute worst company I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. I purchased my home directly from global homes in May 2016 in Shady Oaks Park. I showed up, was approved quickly and payed the amount due. Over 8 months I was on time with my lot rent, had 0 write ups, and landscaped my lot (even got yard of the month). I go to sell my home in Oct 2016 and contract with Rita Knowles and Christine, with global homes. It was a nightmare. Rita was the most unethical con artist I have ever met. She lied to me and my buyers, refused to give me a copy of my listing agreement for over a month after signing, stole items from my home (most of my wine glass collection) and refused to update me on my showings and buyers (when she answered her phone). I ended up losing 2 full price offers because of her incompetence. My door was left wide open (not only unlocked, but swinging open) two times after showings. It could have been open for days before I saw it and secured it properly. A vehicle had hit the side of my trailer, and my new wood floors were scratched up. After getting DMV involved and threatening legal action, and a TON of drama from Rita, I was able to switch to a new agent. The new agent was great and did his job perfectly. The new issues came when I received offers. Management denied 3 buyers based on unreasonable expectations, one was illegal according to ADA and federal law. I fully believe in retaliation to my dealings with Rita and Christine. My husband contacted the owner Mr. Selby, and the next buyer was finally approved, however far far below our initial asking price. When picking up our check for our sales proceeds, we were again harassed and nickle and dimed and our check held hostage. Global homes took HALF of our home sale proceedes, with terrible service and theft and corruption in return.Do not do business with this company. We were perfect home owners and were treated this way. If it can happen to us, it can happen to anyone.We left Shady oaks because promises were not followed through on. The entire park is infested with fleas because of a terrible stray cat problem, and a man being convicted of soliciting a 15 year old was allowed to live across the street from my family (I have 9 and 15 year old girls). Shady oaks is perfect if you are into flea bites, meth, and pedophiles. Nothing has changed here, they just hid the problems to profit on overpriced new homes. SEBLBY Realty owns and manages Shady Oaks and GLOBAL Homes. They are the same company.
