LBA Park is a well-maintained park with a nice playground, multiple baseball fields, covered picnic areas, and a beautiful network of trails that are open to biking and walking. The trail system can be confusing, as there is only one map, and multiple entrances, bug you will find your way back as it is not too large. Theres a fairly small parking lot, so you may want to walk if you live close. Overall, it is a great spot to spend time.

I always love going here. I like that they keep up to date on everything there. Something that I found out a while back is that this park is much bigger than it appears. They have these trails in the forest then we found the actual property marker of the park. It was a pretty cool experience. I definitely recommend you check out those cool trails.

Its close to my house, and my kid meets her friend/s there for hangouts and walks around the park. Theres a nice mini trail that goes around the park, easy and flat. The playground is great, with a really cool zip line. There are 6 ball fields with a consession stand even though Ive never seen one. They even have a dedicated parking spot for the consessionaire on the really old sign at the main entrance. Super weird, but whatever! Old parks!

Nice to stop by and get some food if there is a baseball game, great for walking dogs, and the woods are nice for a quick walk. Treehouse on the southwest side near the water tower is a nice place to hang out with friends. The playsets themselves arent very big, but there is a very large jungle gym, a few swings, a roundabout and a small zipline.

This is a fun park. We’ve played baseball on the fields and the play structure is great. There’s a large climbing, rope structure, sever spinning items, a really fun zip line. All park structure are for ages 5-12 according to the park sign. They do a great job with the landscaping here...very attractive park. I also noticed there are several benches, bathrooms, and trash cans for convenience.

During the summer, the softball diamonds get a lot of use. There is a .9 mile path that goes along the perimeter of the park. On the west side of the park, near the north west parking lot, is a playground suitable for kids of all ages. If you are feeling adventurous, there is a trail, dubbed the Wilderness Trail, which winds around 20 acres of forest. It is very popular for walking dogs. This area is slated for development, but there is a possibility that this might not happen.

Full disclosure : I cant address the playground or ballpark aspects of LBA, but Ive been walking the trails through the life span of two dogs (about 25 years) and its a GREAT place for that. Plenty of other dog walkers around and the etiquette is 99% good. The animal control freaks are mostly gone now. Volunteers and City are doing a fantastic job of control & elimination of non-native vegetation. Youll never step in dog doo, and you might even make some friends!UPDATE, FEBRUARY 20203 STARS. The dog issue is getting too intense. Lots of angry people who want to see ALL dogs leashed ALL the time, even a 12 year old arthritic Golden Retriever.Give me a break and pull the stick out people. Knew it was too good to last.Adios.

This playground just happened to pop up on a playground search near our home & it has been our familys favorite park -- replacing our favorite of many years, Bigelow Park. It has a smaller playground for kids under 5 & a larger playground with a giant rope structure to climb on & explore. There is also a zip line! Its incredibly fun. Plus, there are nice trails & clean bathrooms, a ball field & lots of picnic tables & benches.

Went to LBA Park to watch a family friend play some little league baseball. The fields had just been aerated, so they were pretty muddy and had grass plugs all over the outfield. Their was viewing on pretty steep hills, so it was a bit of a challenge with our stroller. The ballfields seemed pretty nice though and the kids enjoyed playing and won the championship. The play area seemed fun too. There was a long line for the zipline and there were many families under the covered area for a party.

This park has tennis courts, basketball hoop, 6 baseball fields a concession stand (open when there are games ) this parks department is awesome they host the special Olympics here every year. Staff is great they keep the grounds looking good and are always willing to answer questions and point you in the right direction all they ask is that if a baseball field has been groomed and chalked for a game please stay off it.
