We did the haunted corn maze while I was there, it was quite spooky! Me personally, just being the way I am, said hello to every person. The live actors made it extremely terrifying. The makeup and costumes were ridiculously realistic! I lived how the clowns chased you out with the chainsaws. The area outside the maze is amazing too. There is a fire pit with string lights under a huge gazebo, and its so beautiful. 5/5 stars from me.
This place was really quite nice for my toddler and myself. They have two separate corn mazes, and at night theres a scary maze and other fun but maybe when my son is older. Theres also little swings, horseshoes, wooden horses and other little things for the kids. The biggest win for my son was the cow tractor ride and the corn cannon. It was relatively cheap compared to the other farms around, and a good few hours of enjoyment. Warning it got crazy busy on Saturday so there were some lines, but other than that, it went really smoothly.
I gave a 4 star because other than picking a pumpkin and doing the maze there wasnt much else for us to do. They had a haunted maze that was closed during the time I was there, feel like it could have been open even though it was day time. Not sure how scary it is or not but my kids would have enjoyed it.Over all though the maze and game they play within the maze to find certain locations made it much more enjoyable than another maze we have done! Will be happy to return again when its time to do so next year!
Even in the midst of COVID19, Rutledge corn maze was fun! The employees were pleasant and helpful, but not intrusive. We could not eat the kettle popcorn fast enough! Perfect amount of sweet and salt. The caramel corn disappeared quickly once we came home. After making it through the maze, we took the little train to the pumpkin patch. The set up was perfect for drop off and pick up of visitors. One of the best parts for me was seeing all the dogs able to come and be with their families. The miniscule one downside was the line was quite long to way and purchase your pumpkin.
This place was great on Halloween. The corn maze was around a 500ft across, 2 miles long and took 40 minutes to navigate. Tickets were under $15 at the door. They take cash and card. I went to the regular corn maze, the haunted one had slotted times because it was so popular and the next time was 3 hours from when we arrived. It was still a lot of fun. They had map markers and hole punchers so you could track where youd been going and follow along with activities. There are small, semi-private rooms/areas for events (the walls are made up of corn) They sold food and drinks.
A great pumpkin patch! The workers were all so incredibly nice and helpful! The pumpkin patch was huge, had big and small pumpkins, cool pumpkins weve never seen before (white, peachy, warty) and no entry fee. The market had great kettle corn, canned goodies, and fresh fruit. Our boys loved the cow train and tractor train.
Very nice place, plenty of parking, very friendly and pleasant staff!Only negative comment is that I didnt see anyone enforcing the mask wearing mandate. There were signs posted however some people didnt comply. I think if people were unwilling to wear a mask they should have been asked to leave. (There were tractor rides and lines to pay which did not allow for safe spacing.)
Keep in mind that I am a whopping 54 years old on Monday. But I thought it was extremely expensive to bring the family Out. There was no challenge at all to the corn maze. The young employees were extremely professional and friendly and went out of their way to help us the 2 times that we went to one asking for assistance. There was plenty of Camp fires set up where you can stop and warm up before heading back into the corn maze. There was a nice concession stand with a short line which I assume was short because of the prices. They had plenty of port a potties that were very clean. If you go out have a great time in dress warmly it was very cold tonight.
The maze and the patch were nice, but other features were Ill communicated. Got 4 tickets online, and on arrival found out 4 and under were free. Ticket taker didnt offer to refund, and where 2 Adults were standing before her with one child and one toddler, she just confirmed my tickets and said 4?... The cow ride and cannon and whatever else werent explained that they only ran on Saturday and Sunday, so be aware and call ahead, inquire as to what is functioning and you wont be disappointed.
Family fun for everyone! Every year is uniquely designed, make sure to stay on the path to keep the maze enjoyable for everyone else. Friendly patrolling staff made for a welcoming respectful atmosphere. Coming back next year. Cheers!
The Rutledge Haunted Maze never disappoints. This was my second time here. We had a member of our group who got pleasantly scared who normally doesnt jump. 10/10 would highly recommend. The normal corn maze itself is also quite large and well made. Very challenging.
I only went to the haunted corn maze section but it was amazing. We were accidentally sold the wrong tickets but the person in charge was very understanding and gave us the correct tickets and the maze was even greater than the previous years that Ive attended it.
Wonderful outdoor family place. The staff are friendly and helpful and so many things to do. We enjoyed the veggie stand the corn maze and the Pumpkin Patch. Definitely a place to return to.
I normally love the corn maze.... but this is not the year to gather in such great numbers. 100’s of people, no social distancing. There is a pandemic right?
My daughter had her Senior pictures taken there today. What an awesome place to take pictures. They have props to use and a small market with fruits and vegetables. The team members were so friendly. I recommend this place.
Staff was incredibly unhelpful and nobody was on the same page… The ‘haunted’ maze was tons of blank spots, looked like they were supposed to be actors in areas that were totally quiet… not worth the drive & I’ve been to way scarier events for less than $20
Wonderful corn! We cant get enough. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I locked my keys in the car and they were very helpful, letting me borrow their phones and giving me and my toddler water while we waited for help. We are hoping the maze and pumpkin patch will be open this year.
Small little pumkpin patch. Its very locally known. Great place to get a pumpkin and do the corn maze. Has a haunted corn maze as well as zombie paintball. Usually spend about an hour here.
Had a wonderful time, great maze, lots of walking! A lot of the yellow tape needs to be put back up, looking forward to more vendors
Its an amazing place to be at. Its a great place to make memories and have a great time. I know everytime I go there, I have some good memories.
Must visit during a fall season!I love their hunted corn maze.Highly recommended to book online to reduce the waiting time. 23 dollars per person!
I honestly feel that Ive wasted over $200 on the day time attractions. The corn maze was ok, had a bad smell in some of the areas as we searched for clues. My family was happy to experience this for the first time but was also disappointed with the activities.
Four-star rating is based on: Amazing experience, but definitely overpriced.COVID-19 review: People were wearing masks but were not following social distancing guidelines at all while waiting in line, and no one was regulating. I wish theyd enforce this better, but I did not consider it in my rating since COVID [hopefully] wont be around forever.
Great family spot. Lots of fun for people of all ages. Really easy to get to/find. Friendly staff.
Im here right now. So many people without masks. Especially young adult groups not having the policy enforced on them and old folks incorrectly wearing masks. Definitely a place to catch covid with people from many places traveling here. leaving now
By the time we went there were only reject pumpkins! The corn maze had trash in it. But all in all its a good place
The corn maze was in the shape of BIGFOOT!!! This place is so fun and theres so much to do. The spooky maze also got me good
There were A LOT of people there last Sunday. Made me nervous. They said they sanitized in between hay rides, etc., but I dont see how. Also, there was no sanitizer or wipes, so grab a wheelbarrow at your own risk! No 6ft demarcations either. It seemed like everyone was masked, and that was fortunate.
Went for the haunted maze, and I thought it was the perfect amount of scares! I would go again, and earlier in the day to enjoy the other mazes too.
Happy to go through the corn maze every year and its family friendly positively enjoyably brings the inner child out adults and family filled adventures love it
It was great! My 5 year old had a blast until it was time to go, then she was sad
Was unorganized and the lines were long actually pretty dirty regarding trash from people. Overall verry relaxed and worth the drive from my location. Dogs allowed free entry to patch free parking no food just popcorn and candy.
No enforcement of any kind with social distancing and masks. Many groups had people without masks in the waiting line. I didn’t see anyone cleaning and sanitizing the portable toilets, and they didn’t offer any hand sanitizer for some of them either. The maze was filled with corn stalks sticking out, my cousin actually tripped on one at the end. Very poorly managed attraction.
We went here for the sunflower festival which was so hyped up over the internet. We were thoroughly disappointed. We expected to see large fields with blooming sunflowers where we could have some great pictures. But it was a small field, only half the sunflowers were in bloom and of the rest, most were being cut and taken by the visitors, the web page said they had 100,000 sunflowers. We saw only a few 100 maybe and very scattered. We paid so much to get the tickets for entry to the farm, drove over 1.5 hours and didn’t see what we came for.
Had the best time ever all the while getting a workout. I will be coming back next year
Wasnt the pumpkin patch our family normally goes to, but we were happy it was nice and had a great selection of pumpkins! Glad we stopped in, going to try the haunted corn maze this weekend.
We bought advance tickets for 7:00 they didnt get open till 7:30. The maze overall was ok. However the crowd that was forming was extremely large, with minimal social distancing. Some honey buckets had no toilet paper. There seemed to be a lack of organization between some of the staff. Had I not had to spend $70 for my daughter, girlfriend and I, I might give it a better rating. Overall it was a disappointment and way too expensive.
Love their corn grown right on the farm, also love that they bring over Yakima tomatoes! Visit every year during corn and tomato season. Great fun in the corn maze too!
Myself and my two oldest children toured the haunted corn maze. It was awesome, scared the bejesus out of all of us. Bomb carmel corn!
My 1st time visiting and had such a great time at the sunflower festival. With all the crazy going on the owners kept everyone very up to date and informed
Had a great time. The mazes werent marked.we didnt know beginning or end or Maze 1 or 2. Did both anyways!
Ive been here two years in a row now and this place is a bit of a disappointment. I pre ordered tickets for the sunflower fest due to corona they werent charging cards until the day of or something. Well the smoke in the air reached hazardous levels (and I wanted to bring my infant) the company refused to refund my ticket and prepurchase of cut flowers even though THEY HADNT CHARGED MY CARD YET and the air was HAZARDOUS and offered a gift certificate for the corn maze. Well the charges went thru on my card and I never recieved my gift certificate. Was told they would hold it at the ticket booth. I show up with baby in tow and they cant find it, told to wait for some other girl who couldnt find it, then told to wait while they make a phone call, then told to wait for someone else to show up to find it. I essentially waited at an empty field (20 pumpkins) in the cold for 45 mins waiting for my gift certificate to be found. I left my contact info because I had to go and no one ever got back to me.As far as Im concerned this company essentially ripped me off. I would have at least liked to purchase squash or decorative pumpkins but they had nothing. Go anywhere else.
It was to hi priced for 2 people so my daughter went bye her self. She said she had fun.
Fun atmosphere, fun for the whole family, a great family owned place to get out and enjoy yourselves.
I went to the sunflower festival today and I was so disappointed. Out of hundreds of sunflowers, only about 20 were in bloom. They said next weekend they should be in bloom, but they are sold out next weekend and they are only running the festival for these 2 weeks. I think they should have planned the festival around the time when the flowers are actually in bloom. I feel like my money was wasted.
Its a great family fun place. Very safe. Very nice customer service.
I love how large the corn maze is. Free kitty ride and a ride to get pumpkins.
A real disappointment! After driving all the way there for fresh corn, I found all the ears of corn had been picked before they had fully ripened, the ears were small, and they were overpriced at $1 each. WinCo had better, fully ripe corn for 40¢ each!
We didnt even go in the big maze and my daughter had a blast. We made great memories for very little money.During Halloween time they have a scavenger hunt for $3 for kids where they go on a hunt for all the different types of pumpkins and find all the animal signs in the patch with information and they get rewarded with a sugar pie pumpkin. They have swings and yard games and a few animals. There is a little speed maze that is fun and during weekends they have a little food stand with hot dogs, pretzels and such. There is a little store as well.We didnt do the corn maze or the haunted corn maze, but I have in the past and loved it. The haunted one is definitely not for the easily scared. I wouldnt do it now, but it was awesome as a teenager and young adult.
This place was really quite nice, plenty of parking and pleasant staff!
It was kinda cool my wife and some of our friends went their tonight . it wasnt terrible but i think $21 a head is a little priceyIm spoiled because my brother and i went to the Mourg in downtown Seattle last year and that place was top notch 1st class from beginning to end and when it came to visual effects and scary theatrics The Mourg was on point and when we left we were very pleased .So all in all this corn maze wasnt horrible however they should add more actors more visual affects fill in some of the gaps between scares or maybe lower their prices
Awesome corn mazes, pumpkin patch not for strollers, if youre gonna do the mazes, bring water.
It wasnt scary at all even for my 9year old. Biggest waste of $160.00 taking my family there. So disappointed
We went for the haunted corn maze. It was fun and a short wait.
Gary Rutledge took us on the wagon ride, took a picture of us girls, and was more than a great host! What a wonderful experience.
We had a good time at the haunted corn maze in the rain. We waited in line for almost 1 hour but it was worth it.
It was a fun spot to take kids to.
Wasnt as scarey as past years. Some of the actors just stood there and didnt move. Lame
Great customer service, clean and even with limited activities this year they still provided a fun place for myself and my family to enjoy ourselves. We will be making returning
Awsome cornmaze great selection of pumpkins great price too
Great prices! Wry family friendly. Chickens, with grain for purchase, bring quarters. Corn cannon, swing set, corn hole, ladder golf, tractor rides, snacks and drinks( hot and cold), hand warmers, and PUMPKINS! We had so much fun here today! The maze changes every year! $9 to get in.
It was mediocre. Smaller kids most likely wouldnt be too scared . Still fun though
My family enjoyed the farm, and bought some really nice pumpkins.
We had a blast. It was amazing
Had a great time but majority of the pumpkins left in the patch were rotten. We will go again next year but much earlier in the season.
Had the pleasure of working as Radio Fryer Foods at Rutladge over the past month. My kids were able to enjoy kids day, and overall it was just a fun experience being here meeting many new friendly faces. The employees were always friendly and I would have loved to have experienced it for myself but at least my friends and family were able to
Went to the haunted corn maze and it was pathetic. Paid $70 for 3 people and was atually bored the whole time.
So much fun and all of the employees were great!
We took my grandson to the maze and had a blast. Hes eleven years old and really enjoyed finding all the check points by following the map. Its well kept and obviously well loved by the community. Great job growing and forming the maze!
Had a real fine experience there today. Great peaches!
Family loved it will be back every year
Great place to take the family! Takes about 2 hours to do both mazes, so bring comfortable and activity appropriate shoes. There is also a haunted maze and a zombie paintball range. Looking forward to going back. Traditional snack counter and light food (hot dogs, etc.)
Fun! Little expensive but fun family activity
We loved the pumpkin patch and a walk through the sunflowers!
Grateful this pumpkin patch allows fur babies! Free fun for the family. Free parking and to walk thru the pumpkin patch is free too.
Very first time visiting, was a complete blast with my 5 year old nephew. The staff are all super helpful and courteous, popcorn and cider was a great treat, the corn maze was awesome, and he thoroughly enjoyed the tractor rides and the pumpkin patch! A very well spent 2 1/2 hours on a wonderful Saturday afternoon! Only bummer was no corndogs cause they only take cash! Will remember next year!!
My husband just loves their sweet corn !!
Had a lot of fun, was quite tricky!!
It was very well organized. Lots to do to keep the kids happy. Great prices.
It was a nice place but during the week they dont run the rides. My son was super upset about that!! There was only 1 person working that day too so help was scarce.
We have fun coming here. Both times have been enjoyable and memorable. I love the pumpkins we chose because there was a ton to choose from. The kettle corn is yummy and the chocolate mocha I bought was tasty. The corn maze was fun even though we did it at night and we saw a few bats and had the moon light our path. Make sure to bring flashlights at nighttime. We had ours on our phones but nighttime makes it a little harder to find all the check points or at least for us nevertheless it was all about the fun and making new memories. It can be a little more expensive depending on what you want to do. Three different mazes and all are fun all range from $ -$$ -$$$. Hope you have just as much fun. It’s fun in the daytime and even more fun at night.
An extremely long wait and reserved tickets might as well not matter due to having to wait up to two hours after the reserved time.
Very friendly staff. The place clean and very nicely laid out
No corn, too cold, need sun and warmer weather.
Bring the kids every year, we usually come right after school when its not busy, my kids arent old enough for the night haunted one. But its great fun and worth the money, cost about $32 for 4 of us.
I love to bring my daughter here. The corn maze is awesome. The haunted corn maze is super scary! And they bring in some really tasty food trucks during events. Well worth the visit!
Its not just a corn maze but a place to have events. Unfortunately, in this case it was a celebration of life. But, fortunately the weather was great.
Fun fun n more funnn
Good place to take kids for a walk!
I definitely recommend spending an October day here with pals to get in the Halloween mood! You can keep the cost low and wander through the pumpkin patch and sunflowers for free. The folks doing the [also free] tractor rides were incredibly friendly and welcoming!Dogs are welcome if you keep them on a leash and have poop bags with you to pick up any waste.
Went in to it without any idea if I (21 Male) would enjoy it at all.Pleasantly surprised by the quality and enjoyment of all the activities I and my friends took part in:Corn Maze - fantastic size and incredibly fun in the dark and the maze activities give a substantial goal to focus onHaunted Maze - actors are well trained and the suspense is incredible throughout the whole labyrinthZombie Paintball - great value for the number of paintballs provided and shooting gallery style setups with zombie actors were on point. All in all;Fantastic attraction for a visit or party, I will definitely be back in the future
