Horrible. No other words to describe it besides filthy, nasty, waste, and other words that mean bad and enjoyable. Showers were dirty and had mold in the ceilings. Beds were barely made and the sheets was dirty. Only one tv worked in the entire 6 bedroom suite. Doors were missing on closets and the ones to the room barely shut. Do not book a stay here for any reason. Stay away from room 501
The place was terrible got there you had to check in threw another hotel second hot tub did not work and was told was not going to fix third hotel floor was dirty tv didnt work the website said lots of channels and lots of movie to watch someone did fix tv but only had 1 channel so no cable here the pool was ok but small not many chairs at the pool which 3 were broken had 1 chair for the balcony so if you stay here you are on your own at this hotel so the website makes this place look Ausome but its not this was one of the worst place we ever stay so dont waste youre money here.
Room 502. The furniture and carpet needs to be replaced. The water pressure in all the bathrooms and kitchen was weak. The beds are low and uncomfortable. The window curtains are dirty. Refund wouldve took 6-8 weeks so we stayed and had to do a deep clean before we could start to try and enjoy ourselves. STAY AWAY!!!
I wanted to love this place. I booked for a bachelorette trip. First off i called the office on 2 different days just needing towels because they only put two in the room. The room was dirty, the shower was discusting, and the pool looked nasty. There could be so much potential as the first look of the room is more luxurious, but this place really does the bare minimum. Upgrade customer service and actually take care of the property and it could be amazing. The worst part, when i got back and was unpacking i saw a cockroach!!!!!!!! Do not waste your money here.
Zero customer service after 5pm. Zero security present. Stayed two nights and filled out two incident reports for the police for shots fired. Hard to deal with drunk partiers in the walkway by the elevator by our room. Did not feel safe the whole entire stay. Again, zero security present. Zero accountability.
7 bd room was more than enough room,minor repairs and a fresh paint job would have been great. Now for the bad, check in a mile away, on hold for an hour to get maintenance, locked out before check out, called and left message never got a return call, no ones there to answer your question without calling the check in hotel a mile away. Would love this place to be our new annual spot but a few things need to change. More parking passes are needed for guest to park in overflow, floors were not clean . Trash receptacles full nowhere to put trash would have loved to given more stars
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! If I could leave the star blank i would! I was sent a link from Bali about our stay. They did not reach back out to me to discuss my concerns so I will write a review on Google, and maybe theyll call. The room wasnt bad and the housekeeper Jackie and young guy doing repairs were very nice and polite. We live out of state so we went by pictures of the resort when booking the room. Our check in time was 4:00pm. We were fine with it being a little after 4 but we did not get into our room until 8:30pm that was after calling after hour service multiple times and the housekeeper was still in there rushing trying to get the room cleaned because she was never told that someone booked it. We could not get any of the TVs on. The front door had just been painted (daughter got paint on her shoes) again the gentleman was never told someone booked that room we were told to eventually shut it and ruin the paint if needed. Smoke alarm was beeping every 30 seconds through out the night and kept us up. I called the next morning and they said they would return $225.00 back to our card (they did not state that $100.00 of that was the deposit we paid so I feel I deserve another $100.00 credit for the first night). The guy the painted the door came back the next morning after i called to fix the tvs and smoke detector. There was no back to one of remotes so we kept losing the batteries all week. Wednesday we went down to use the pool and as you can see from the pictures we did not swim, the dirt that looks like sand isnt its fungus and pool was not even filled all the way and looked it hadnt been cleaned in forever. I called the office but for some reason it wouldn;t go through, so I called back Thursday, left a message. So Thursday afternoon around 4:30 we went by Atlantica where we picked up code because I never received a call back. I spoke with someone at the desk and was told she would have the manager get in touch with me Friday because manager was already gone. She also stated that she would be back in the office by 12:00 the next day so she would say something about the concern with pool and make sure manager calls...She never called. I called several more times with no answer or the call wouldnt go through. I have been trying to reach them since Thursday without a call back. I feel I should be refunded some of the price for our stay considering what we paid and did not even get to enjoy the ammenties that you offer online when booking. Also the cops showed up at the resort multiple times for noise complaints throughout end of week and we were told it was because of the owner of the resort having parties...not sure if thats true but seems like it was. I expect a call back to discuss the things that we encountered last week during our stay. I left my phone number on the link I was sent after our stay. If you are not going to do the upkeep on your hotel, maybe lower your prices and let your customers know what to expect before booking. I still expect a call ASAP!!!!
Well let’s start with we stayed here last hear and loved it so we came back. Well that was a big mistake. The first room they gave us (305) had a hole in the couch like it was big. And the common bathroom was bolted shut! We eventually got moved to (406) where most everything was perfect except for once we all got home we realized there was bed bugs. While on vacation we chalked it all up to mosquitoes from sitting outside at night. Well apparently we were wrong. We won’t be returning due to this costing us so much now to exterminate. The manager and supervisor were rude to us when we expressed the concerns about the first room. The only nice staff we met was the housekeeping supervisor Tabitha.
I would highly recommend this beautiful place . There were a few flaws but we love and enjoyed it.
This was the worst place I ever stayed in Myrtle Beach. Room 406 was NASTY and room 401 was not much better. We clean for 2 days on our vacation. Maggot, blood, mildew, and nasty toilets. The kitchens were not equipped. The WIFI in and out.We were only compensated for one night!!!! I think the BBB need to know about this. Thank you and have a bless day
Very spacious, 3 bedroom and 3 bath with amazing oceanview! However very unclean, hair in and around tubs,poor water pressure in showers and clothes from the previous occupants were under the bed! Not to mention trash under beds! Overall great value a few updates,and better housekeeping and this could easily get 5 stars! Would still recommend and stay again.
This resort would of been awesome if it would been cleaned. The rooms has dirt every where. Showers had mildew in them. Left over trash from travelers before us. The kitchen wasnt stock with pots and pans. Microwave had left over food on plate. Hand prints on windows and dirt. Bathroom sink wouldnt drain properly and tub with shower same way. The refrigerator was also not cleaned properly. Under furniture was filthy. Very disappointing! Just needs to be cleaned properly !
I was recommend buy my travel agent to stay here but was highly disappointed the overall look of the place was OK but there was spots on the comforters the dishwasher loaded with dishes and there was mold in the coffee pot, not to mention it smelled like a a dog had been there and the pool was disgusting When I address the issue with my travel agent she notified them someone came to the room after I left to go buy distancing and Pine-Sol. Left a note on the door and dropped a pack of cigarettes in the kitchen on the floor smh the note said I’ll be back first thing in the morning but she never came. not wanting to frustrate myself or my guess I try to let my travel agency handle it Because there’s no check in or lobby on the property you have to check in somewhere else which was frustrating because I wasn’t told that prior to checking in. And when my agent tried to get me some accommodations for my frustration it’s turned into an argument denying that there was no calls made but then when she told her about the note that the housekeeper left and her cigarettes she said oh well we did something about it really !!!!!! it’s OK though I’ll never go there again despite the embarrassment I felt because I bought guest along with me .with COVID-19 going on you would want to believe that hotels or so-called resorts are doing what it properly takes to make their guest feel safe.
If I have to give 0 star, I would. One place is nasty. All the good reviews with 4 to 5 stars must be fake because these people must be homeless so they were happy to stay when they are on vacation. Less than a second when I step my foot into the room I wanted to step out because it’s a nasty place. Staffs are rude. If you can stay home or sleep in the car, you must do because this place is not worth it at all for you to pay.
The place was filthy stunk no pillow cases on the pillows and no comforters on the beds thes dishwasher was full of greasy pots and pans. We didnt stay we went to another hotel for our stay and they kept my deposit I called Chase and disputed the charges and Bali Bay responded and I was still charged for the condos we reserved I guess we will have to take legal action to get our money backDont stay at this place they should name it the Bali Bay crack house not a resort. O
YOURE BETTER OFF STAYING AT SEA DUNES ACROSS THE PARKING LOT!!! THEY ACTUALLY HAVE SOMEONE CLEANING THEIR ROOMS! SMH
My oceanfront room (306) was double booked, so they moved me to another oceanfront (305). Upon arrival there were already customers in this room that had booked the unit. I was then told that money would be taken off of my stay if we moved to a smaller ocean view room (403) and haven’t heard a single thing from the rental company about this. Upon arrival of 403, there was sand all over the unit and the counters were sticky. We did not get into this unit (403) until about 8:15pm the day of check in because of all of the inconveniences. The worst part of it all is that no staff has attempted to resolve this issue even though I have reached out multiple times. I highly recommend you be careful when booking with Bali Bay Resort or beach vacation rentals. I will never do it again.
The service my mom received was excellent. From the time She entered the lobby She experienced excellent customer service with great smiles and very helpful with all my question. When I got to my room it was clean, even recieved extra towels and wash clothes without asking that was extremely helpful.
This was the worst hotel experience of my life. The unit #201 was extremely dirty. I had to go out and buy cleaning items to clean the unit just to stay the one night I was there and there were gnats everywhere from old food left by previous guests. I tried to reach someone the same night to express my issues but of course there is no one on site. The following day I went to the other hotel that you must check into to get into your unit and the managers Madison and Stacey were extremely rude and one alleged that she did a walk through and said the unit was clean. She refused to give me a full refund even though I had to relocate my family to a safer cleaner establishment for the rest of my vacation. Now I’m stuck trying to get a hold of Lee Lear who is supposed to be owner of some sort. Just an FYI, I requested ocean view and my hotel was facing a freaking roach motel. I had to literally look around to even find a piece of the ocean. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE. IT IS DIRTY AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ESSENTIALLY NON EXISTENT.
Adding to my previous review, the supervisor was completely unaplogetic and uncaring of the situation. No one should have to drive hours for a vacation to not have the accomodations expected. The room was dirty, the sheets dont fit the bed properly, the plumbing for the deep master bath tub was broken. The ice machine on the fridge is also broken.
Nothing was clean. Dishes and pots was missing. No hot water in 1 of the showers. No iron. No towels or wash cloths. It was a bad scent when we walked in. No cable working. A Dirty towel left under kitchen sink. Weed roach found on floor upstairs.
It was nice but not cleaned good,smelled funny, like crab boil, the shower was full of stingy black hair, we could use only the guest bathroom because of that,and hotel canceled our reservation 10 min before we arrived, they lady at the check-in service was very nice and gave us a room other wise we would have been stuck with no room!all in all the room was very spacious!
Our stay at the Bali Bay was absolutely horrible. It was filthy with disgusting items left behind from previous guests. Doors that didn’t shut nor lock. Missing or broken basic kitchen items, duct taped window. No response to calls to the front desk. Rude, unprofessional staff. One of the beds BROKE and FELL TO THE FLOOR at an angle with two people lying on it. No return calls after leaving business hour messages about this problem. I called the after hours emergency number and the woman confirmed she’d gotten the message but they could do nothing until the next day. Asked where we were to sleep she rudely repeated that she could do nothing. And on and on and on. Absolutely unbelievably awful place.
I loved the pictures on the website. Check-in was off premises and no one was available. Calling the number to speak with someone took an hour. Upon entry it was a great appearance. The floors in the condo were dirty and those type of floors need special cleaning (just needs to have a Swifer available). Need to have daily house keeping. Bedding needs to be washed with bleach for all pieces not just the top layers. Sweeping up under the beds and making sure all areas are clean. Kitchen area needs more utensils, pots, and pans. Cabinets and drawers need to wiped out. In between couches wiped out because people drop things in between which is nasty. Overall, cleaning needs to be amped up majorly! I brought tons of cleaning supplies and cleaned everywhere. Also, there needs to be a mop, broom, and cleaning supplies if you staying a couple of days.
Great place, Gabby is the friendliest woman we have ever met at the neighborhood store. Our filtered water has been the best, buy. My friend was telling me about the restrictions and such, so this reminded me of how my grandpa had a entire cellar of canned goods and toilet paper...he said that this day would happen.So, now this is a great opportunity to be kind, and express the live of Jesus. We have a great Pastors at our church.This is the best time to stay connected and cry out to Jesus, if your whole world is falling apart. We pray. Jesus will meet you where ever you are, cry out to Jesus. He loves you and will get you through, He helps everyone, everybody and everytime.
Our room was nice but wasnt cleaned well. The place is not well maintained for the price you pay. Wont go into the details but I wouldnt recommend this place.
This place is a complete scam! Stayed here over the Memorial Day weekend & upon arrival the door was open yes open! Floors were dirty, beds were not made so no clean linen. Showers & sinks were disgusting had to go out & buy cleaning items. Dishwasher stunk. No great parking or front desk access. Management was very rude paid over $2000 and was asked to leave a day early with no legit reason. Will NEVER stay here ever again
During my stay we had major issues. First the Key Code to get into the hotel did not work. The only time the key code worked was during our arrival. After that either we had to wait for someone to open the door or people kept leaving the back door unlocked with a box. This lead to everyone and anyone getting into the building The second day as we walked up to the hotel there was a beer bottle thrown out the window, we could not get into the building because the code did not work but someone was coming out. and we got into the building. I called the main office and was told to call another number. I called around 10 times with no response even after leaving a couple messages. That same night 30 min after not being able to get into the building there were 5 gun shots fired below our room. After closing the blinds the police finally came and found gun shot shell casings on the car outside our door. The same night later that evening we could not sleep because of the party going on outside our door that lasted until 3AM. I dong know how this hotel does not have any security on duty. I will never stay at the place again. Due to our concerns for safety we did not use any of the leisure activities.
Hello Everyone we checked in at 4 pm with kids the hotel was horrible, there was notMuch staff in the hotel, the room was extremely dirty there was bugs everywhere, dust and the bathrooms were not clean . I have called the front desk two to threeTimes to reach them finally when they picked up I asked if someone can come and clean it they said No! They were reallyRude !!! I asked them to at leastMop because we have kids they said someone willCome, when someone came he swept and left I asked the person that come to give is trash bags and the stuff that they clean it with so at least we can clean it ourselves they said yes but neverReturned ! Not toMentioned they did not have parking spaces available literally we had to park on the side, elevators dirty basically would not recommend no one staying there, especially if they have kids !!! Horrible place we got out earlier than what we payed for that’s how bad it was our vacation was ruined !
It’s not a good place to stay. Tv in the master bathroom was not working. The floor was nasty and the bathroom was not a good place you want to use the toilet was running over when somebody flush it. I was. not happy with the turn out. Not again
Price was fine but there were bed bugs in the room ! Management didn’t refund me because “pest control” came in two days later and “didn’t see any signs of bed bugs”. I had pictures and videos and management did nothing! NEVER STAYING HERE AGAIN.
Bali Bay was very comfortable and within walking distance to the places we wanted to visit. I prefer my privacy and like the fact that staff werent in and out of my suite when my family wasnt there. I never had problems getting in contact with the staff when I had questions and never really needed anything once we got the family settled in. I also enjoy cooking, so, having a full kitchen in my suite was very convenient. It could have been a little more equipped with kitchen supplies like more pots and bakeware to use in the oven; but Im sure not too many people are looking to cook on their vacation. We went to the Dollar General right up the street and grabbed some foil pans for a cheap and quick solution for that. Our view was beautiful and the beach is easily accessible. The pool was open and my family enjoyed using it with the other residents, however the jacuzzi wasnt available during my visit. Parking was convenient and we never had to use the overflow lot on 8th Ave. Check in was at a different location; but its on the same street and I knew ahead of time since its posted on the website. My room wasnt available because I got there early, however, the staff were very accommodating and offered to let my family hang out at the pool/lazy river at the check in location until it was. My overall stay was very enjoyable and I can definitely see myself booking here again.
So it’s nowhere near a 5-4 star status. The rooms was not cleaned properly. Yes spacious. The shower door was not functioning properly, Fans dripping with dirt. The bathroom tile has a weird greasy slide to it. Trash piled up outside the room door. The list goes on. Tried talking to the manager Tiffany. She was rude unsympathetic, non apologetic, talking from the back room. When I said I’m hearing impaired she refused to talk to me respectfully by refusing to come from the back room. They offered no solutions. We could NOT get a refund for the extra nights not even on the $75 cleaning fee they racked on and left.
It was really disgusting like all the other reviews said. I wanted a smaller building/resort to stay in cause of Covid19. So i thought i would try this cz less rooms=less guests... and so maid service etc.. less exposure with other people..BIG MISTAKE.. never stay here again.. dont stay here please!
The video tour and pictures are sooo deceiving. Nothing works. Maintenance came everyday of my stay. Mold on the walls, floors extremely dirty, can openers, iron, garbage disposal, ceiling fan all broken. Roaches! Vomit in the hallway for 2 days before it was cleaned. Called the manager left 2 messages. Still no reply. Save yourself the headache and just book elsewhere
When we got to our room (503), the blankets were disgusting. the floor was super wet and muddy, there was an empty dr. pepper bottle on our table. our cups were dirty. there was dirty diapers left in one of the 7 rooms. 3 of the tvs didn’t work. we also had no towels or wash clothes. we called the hotel to clean and get some towels and the maintenance guy came up for the tv, took pictures of all our items. when asked why and to show us pictures, he through a huge fit and said he would shoot and said some very uncalled for names. we called the cops and since that the managed kicked us out, called my family hard ERs and kicked us out. never again and not worth it.
It looked exactly how shown on the pics. It was super spacious and very comfortable. Wish I had gotten the ocean front instead of the ocean view. I stayed 4 nights with friends for a bday celebration. The only thing I didnt like was that the floors were a little dirty, so I had to sweep. I also wish they had room for a hot tub to be inside, wanted to enjoy that. But the huge tin in my room compensated. Its in a great location close to everything. It was a joy overall.
The front desk service,clieaniness, and room was trouble I will not be booking there again. Currently on my stay and the rooms are not clean and maintenance properly. The manager Madison was very unprofessional and they do not care about the happiness and comfort of their guest. I wouldnt suggest anyone book this place vacation gone wrong
The only good thing about this site was the easy access to the beach..and a short distance from the boardwalk.the apartment was dirty linen was dirty...missing remotes for the television.blood and urine on bathroom walls.the walk in shower was atrocious..no on site services such as house keeping...washer and dryer inoperable...missing nobs...tight/minimum parking spaces.you must also sign a property damage waiver..this unit was clearly damaged upon my arrival..the only person to complain to was at another site almost 2 miles away..there was only one pool..a wading poole for kids 3-4 feet deep and small
My family and I had great time, the 3 bedroom condo is spacious, full kitchen, washer and dryer inside, I thought i was getting a 2 bathroom but there was 3 for each room. ONLY thing is the wifi didnt work, for the price, I can dig it!
Roaches running from left to right in my bedroom, the faucet water had a foul smell like spoiled eggs, and the customer service was HORRIBLE. Never again in my life will come to this hotel and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
This is our 2nd staying within a year and I must say the first time we were impressed by the view and the up to date layout of the resort, and how CLEAN it WAS! This time we were not so lucky. Later on into the early morning around 2am as the family began to unwind, we discovered multiple ROACHES on the balcony as well throughout our rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen! In one particular room there were multiple under the bed and bathroom and we also found a pile of trash as if someone swept it underneath the bed instead of a dust pan(which the other guest have photos to prove it all). My aunt also found a roach in her bed! We reported the next morning to only get a guy spraying the perimeter with orthopedic home defense which he didnt arrive until 1PM or after. Then later on Orkin pest control came to spray, which later on that night roaches were still crawling around. And last but not least, while packing to leave my wife and I got stuck on the elevator for a few minutes, luckily we were on the ground and the door was partially open and someone was waiting to board the elevator and we were able to pull the door back...smh! As we got off we noticed there was no proof of ani nspection on the elevator either! I wouldnt rule them out as a place to stay, but they have somethings to work on and our party felt some type of discount should have been given due to the filth and some of our guests fell asleep around 5am feeling uncomfortable after the ROACHES were found.
Update:I was able to receive a full refund of all charges as there were no available rooms for us to move to. The only reason this has 2 stars is the housekeeping staff I spoke to and also both front desk people who handle the checkin and refunds (located at atlantica resort btw). The people are the reason this gets 2 stars otherwise it would have gotten 1 star. Id still stay away as management gets ahold of Bali Bay and fixes the issues it seems to have and updates everything. I did leave the property within a couple hours of checking and booked somewhere else. The people working are amazing...just not the room.Currently checked in and just...wow. while the people who answer the desk phone are sweethearts the rooms are left to be desired. Some rooms marked as ocean views are a sliver of ocean if you lean over your balcony only. The dining room chairs are torn on the back of a few, theres paint splatter on the back of the couch, sweeping, dusting and general wipe down from are almost non existent when I got in the room and the cherry on the bbn cake..a chunk of the tile floor is missing where it could cut someones foot. Ive reported these issues but I dont know what they will do. Sad, this place could be nice if it werent for issues like this.
Rooms were dirty. Hair in shower drains. Dirt and trash under beds. Bed linens dirty and had to be washed before using. Two of 4 televisions didn’t work and most electrical outlets didn’t work. No service help on sight.
There were bed bugs in the master bedrooms bed. The master bedrooms shower was disgustingly dirty, mildew and hair was all on the floor of it. The towels had dirty marks on them like they havent properly been washed. The entrance door wouldnt close we had to slam it close everytime we entered or left the room. Two of the remotes did not have batteries. The some of the walls looked dirty and stained. The refrigerator stunk of fish.
The condo was NOT clean the 2 fridges were broken and maintenance didnt fix and the cleaning lady came to clean while we were there and wouldnt refund any money. There is only 1 pool and its really not a pool its a lazy river and the hot tub broke SO many times the week we were there. Forget about finding parking its limited.
I helped book a small getaway for my parents at Bali Bay last weekend only to find out that the staff was unable to accommodate their concerns with the room and were disrespectful.
Stayed here with a group of friends for NYE weekend. There is no onsite staff, you have to check in at another resort. After waiting to check in for almost 45 mins -because they had one person working front desk and busy check in time. We arrived at our condo to find out that they checked us into the wrong one. After about 4 hours we were finally able to get into the room we booked. My entire group was frustrated and aggravated to say the least. We stayed in the 3 bedroom ocean front suite. It had a fully equipped kitchen with limited cooking utensils, decent size living room and washer and dryer. I stayed in the master bedroom suite and it was amazing, huge with a huge bathroom. Shower and tub separate. One of the rooms didnt have clean sheets and wasnt cleaned properly. The balcony was huge and could comfortably fit 6 or more people. Waking up to the sunrise each morning was amazing.Cons: The property is managed poorly and could use security patrol. There was a homeless guy sleeping under one of the stairways every night. Could use better upkeep of the overall property. One of the elevators broke while we were there. Could also use better customer service and a professional housekeeper.Overall, it was a decent stay.
Facility was fairly new and in good condition. Our units amenities were nice. Cant give a 5 star as it could have been cleaner. Great spot for people watching! Could go lower to a 3 for inadequate parking and the check in process. Confusion exists for where to check in as no onsite desk existed yet my confirmation said there was.
The parking is horrible, the rooms are nice but over priced. Left an items immediately after I left called back. Spoke with someone who said they would contact housekeeping and have it mailed to me, what a lie. Have yet to receive anything and when I called back they dont have any information concerning my things. On day of checkout, codes to doors were changed before 9am, so if you left out your room or building you were locked out?? Check out is at 11am, so why are the codes change before nine. No type of amenities on the property!! Definitely wouldnt stay here again!!
The room was dirty when we got there. We called, they cleaned it. Then when we were getting the kids ready for bed, I found a yeast infection medicine wrapper in the bed. Absolutely disgusting. We left immediately.
This place was great! We will definitely be back, we stayed for 4 nights at an UNBEATABLE price for how nice it was. We could walk to Family kingdom for my two 9 year olds, ice cream and other little shops right across the street. The room was spotless. The beds were comfortable and of course fresh sheets. They had dishes to cook with, nice washer and dryer too! Great pool to hang out in with a hot tub and it was ON the beach. I totally recommend this place.
Dont know why they have so many bad reviews, but I will give my honest opinion. Yes its true that you have to go Atlatica Resort (2 miles up the street) to check in. I had a 3 bedroom condo with an ocean view. It was AMAZING! My room looked exactly like it was advertised. It had a washer/dryer, refrigerator and stove. Theres no need for service because you have all the ameneties you need. If felt like an Aibnb type of thing. The only thing I would suggest is higher quality linens. It felt kindy cheapy, but definitely got the job done. I had a great stay!
I must admit the reviews made me weary but when I walked into this the room I was absolutely stunned at the beauty of the room the it was spacious and luxury. My husband and I made the decision to stay only here when we visit myrtle beach only tip I have is to bring extra towels if you are wet when you walk through the door its easy to fall because of the type of flooring

My wife, daughters and I stayed at the Bali Bay Resort for 7 days. The view from the balcony overlooked the ocean. Every night the moon was shining off the ocean and into the room. In the morning the sun rose and shined through the window. The stay was magical. The rooms were bright, very clean and it was like at home. Very modern. Well worth the money spent. Also the resort is within walking distance of everything. I gave it 5 stars because everything was perfect.
This place was great. I really loved the pool.
Very nice for large group, could use some patching up and updates to the property and they dont do trash pick up. The codes to get in commons and units are somewhat annoying. Overall nice stay. Layout of 7 bedroom is beautiful.

The room was okay. We had a 3 bedroom apartment rented for the weekend and there was no matress pads on any of the beds. You are sleeping basically straight on the mattress. The bell carts are broken there is no ramp to gain access to elevators so you have to have 2 people to lift up on walkway and the elevators havent had an inspection in I dont know how long since there was no certification inside it. The pool and hot tub was disgusting. Called to get a late checkout since we were not able to get into our room until 4pm and they advised checkout was at 10am but decided to give us until 11. Very disappointed with the resort if you wanna call it that. Plus nobody is at the office until 4pm where ever that is. Wont be staying here again.
Treated families differently and are biased, poor customer service, do not go here!!!

What I love about Bali Bay:(Other than the $3900 cashiers check paid up front, that cant be canceled)•Place not being ready, after a long drive•Believing we rent an modern, upscale apt. only to find out just how low-rent it truly is•Non secure facility, but they gave us a key for the ALWAYS unlocked doors•Broken bed frame with mattress directly on the floor (told it was modern lol)•No bed linens other than urine stained mattress cover•No towels•No staff to speak too (except Trey, you be the judge)•The homeless guy sleeping in the entry way•2 forks for an entire family to eat with•Very limited cookware, all nasty. Bought new for ourselves•Cheap plastic furniture, very uncomfortable with tears in various places•The homeless guy sleeping on the beach access (impressively, he has matching luggage)•The floating trash in the pool is a nice touch... feels like home•No access to the hot tub, though at this point, I wouldnt dare•The homeless couple sleeping behind the adjacent building•The dishwasher that looks like it was drug behind the delivery truck•Did I mention no security of on site staff... the inmates are running the asylum•Even the elevator buttons gross me out•Constant overflowing trashWhat a dump...Once theyve got your money, they dont give a damn about your issues or concerns. At least in any meaningful manner.Good luck if you stay here. If you dont bring your Glock, at least bring a bat.
This was the worst place we ever stayed out down here. I told the other hotel that runs these condos that it was ridiculous that someone was blocking our cars in two days in a row and she said there was nothing they could do about it. And also lied to us about being able to do an early check in. Pool is drained. It’s just one thing after another and no one seems to be able to help or care. It’s ridiculous. Never again. DO NOT STAY HERE.
We left our stay at Bali Bay early to switch resorts. We drove down for 3 nights at Bali Bay and when we arrived at check in (at Atlantica), the staff was not super friendly. There was also a $96 fee that was not mentioned in the booking price. The overall room we stayed in was very nice, up to date, and modern, but the VIEW!!!!! The view is exactly why we left. We stayed in an “ocean view” room, but all you could see was a very old, run down motel and hardly ANY ocean. Also, the pool was drained and hot tub was dirty. Upon arrival, we quickly booked Paradise Resort and had an amazing time for an amazing price!
Offsite checkin and no late checkin was a real pita for us. The Atlantica was a good a bit up the road for checking in. Our room was amazing, very modern, however it wasnt professionally cleaned. We found whole bags of chips and candy in the cabinet, windows werent really cleaned from top to bottom, microwave hadnt been cleaned (I dont mean sparkling clean, i mean it hadnt even been wiped out), top of fridge was dusty (no biggie), side of fridge had a line of food or rust where it meets the counter top, countertops were dusty in some areas, fridge water dispenser leaks when not in use, glass table tops and dressers were smudged, dish washer had a good dent in it. Entering so many pin #s got a little old (parking, main door, room door), a keycard would be better but i get it. Beds were a bit too firm. Walls seemed a little thin at times but I suppose thats true everywhere. No vending machines to be had, no ice machine (the fridge does have an ice maker tho). Parking was ok, there may be 15 spaces down on the ground floor. During peak season though I bet this isnt enough. Theres an overflow lot a block away but really should include its location on a map during checkin. There werent any instructions on checkout so I assume you just leave.Room was amazing, everything was in working order. Appliances were modern, there was a washer and dryer, sofas were immaculate and cozy. Although there was no restocking on towels etc, there was ample enough towels and toilet paper for two people for the weekend. Nice vaulted ceiling, really tall doors, very very spacious. I think a carpet or two in the sitting area would be a perfect touch. Almost direct beach access. We didnt visit/use the pool.The only thing holding this place back from being a luxury hotel is there is zero staff, and Ive not been in a hotel that was as lax on the room cleaning. The Bali Bay would be worth 3x what I paid per night.
I stayed here three years ago, when it had just opened. With everything being brand new, I was impressed. At that time, however, the pool wasnt finished. Now, after staying, I am much less impressed. Things are already starting to look aged. Exterior landscape walls are cracked and damaged, giving the property a run-down appearance. The pool was horribly cloudy, with debris floating in it. It was so unappealing, we wouldnt even swim in it. Instead, we hit the beach. Fortunately, this is an oceanfront property and theres an outdoor shower, so you can rinse off after getting sandy.Check-in is at another location a couple miles away. Not a big deal, but this wasnt immediately recognizable. I remembered that there was a remote check-in location from my last stay, although the location is now at a different place. Had I not known this, I likely would have gone directly to Bali Bay and been confused at how to get in.Upon checking in, I got charged with $80 in unexpected resort fees for my two-night stay. Im not really sure what these resort fees are for, as there are no amenities at the location (no restaurant, bar, gift shop, or even a vending machine). Part of this was a cleaning fee, which is typically a part of a typical hotel stay, but since this was a two bedroom, two bathroom condo, I understand the need for an extra fee.The condo itself was pretty clean and nice, except for the hair on the sofa that grossed us out and kept us from sitting on it during our stay. The kitchen was very under-stocked with things you might need for a longer stay. Since we were only here for two nights, it didnt end up being a big deal. I do like having a full kitchen and laundry room, though. When I tried to turn on one of the lights, I discovered that the light bulb was missing.Unless you get an oceanfront room, which I didnt realize that I had not booked (my fault, not theirs), the view is horrible. Our view consisted of a low-rent, dumpy motel, occupied by some interesting folks.Keep in mind that this is not a hotel, so there is no daily room service and things like toilet paper, soap, and other items are limited to only a starter set. If your stay is longer than a couple days, youll likely need to pick up your own supplies.In short, the property is a no-frills resort with a less-than-appealing exterior. Well likely stay elsewhere next time.

Stayed in 405 from 11/30/2018 to 12/02/2018. The view was great. The room was dirty overall, including kitchen appliances, floors, and walls. Beds were very loud and uncomfortable and there were several needed repairs. The parties in the room above us played very loud music and they were continually sliding furniture across the floor. Not a great experience here and definitely should not be called a resort. I will not recommend to family or friends.
Amazing stay! The rooms are spacious, modern. View is spectacular from the rooms. Very happy that we chose Bali Bay for our vacation. Highly recommended
Me and a group of friends stayed here during memorial weekend.The room was really nice but the customer service was horrible! Check-in is blocks away. You will need to buy a broom and you will also need to wash your washcloths and towels for reuse because you will not get any daily. We did not see one housekeeper the entire trip! The pool was small and dirty no one was seen using it as if it was out of order! The jacuzzi was wrapped with caution tape, off limits! No inside pool! The landscaping behind this place oceanfront was rubbish and needs TLC. Parking is horrible one small lot underneath the resort with extra parking a block or two away in addition to pay meters!! Do not stay here if you are bringing children they will be bored and the pool is way to small for fun and games! Decent for a business trip where you don’t have time to enjoy amenities!!!! Spacious with a modern look but not worth the hassles and $1900!!!!!!
HOW is this place still in business? The up keeping of the condos are poor. You can you get housekeeping to bring you any linen. My friend paid for guaranteed parking and ended up habiha to park off street. You cant get ahold of the front desk and when you do,they hang up on you because they dont care to deal with an unhappy guest. The dishes in the kitchen were gross. You dont get what you pay for and they dont care.
The customer service was horrible. The desk clerks were uninformed regarding property. Guest check-in is not clearly stated when booking room. Guest check in is in a totally different location. No on site desk clerks. No two bedroom ocean front rooms. Check out has different time stated on paperwork than what it actually was. We were locked out of room for 30 minutes (no on site assistance) Website is truly misleading!
The manager said that we would receive a refund for a portion of our inconvenience, she flat out lied!We never got a pro rated refund.Th room was really nice, it had a full kitchen. Pool was not operational, this place has NO ONSITE management or security. It is located in a sketchy area, beds are nice. And located very close to the ocean.Amazing that the manager called me about my original review! She argued with me about the fact that they call this a resort and they charge a resort fee.When I told her that the pool was not operational and that was the only amenity that would qualify it to be a resort!I simply asked for a refund of the RESORTFEE.SHE SAID ABSOLUTELY NO! BUT SHE DID SAY THAT SHE WOULD REFUND $35.FOR THE INCONVENIENCE AND DEPLORABLE CONDITIONS OF ELEVATORS AND PARKING LOT.THAT WAS ABOUT 45 DAYS AGO AND STILL NO REFUND!!STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!
The rooms were nice and clean. However, the reservation process and customer service are a complete nightmare. For as much as you pay, you are better off staying elsewhere. We were given 2 different addresses for check in, which were both incorrect. We finally called and got the right place (off site because the resort does not have its own front office). All of this was to get a code, which could easily be provided via email. This run around cost us 3 hours following an 11 hour car ride. Needless to say, I would not recommend this experience to anybody. Save your time and money and book a real resort.
NO STAR!!!!! PLEASE NEVER EVER USE THIS RESORT. THEY FALSE ADVERTISE CLAIMING TO HAVE CONDOS WITH 3 BEDROOM 3 BATH BUT ONCE WE CHECKED IN AND GOT TO THE CONDO IT ONLY HAD 3 BEDROOM AND 2 BATH. I CALLED BACK TO THE FRONT OFFICE AND THEY TOLD USE THEY COULDNT COMPENSATE US FOR THE LOSS. THIS WAS THE WORST VACATION EVER!

I will start with the 1 positive about the place, the view. The view was great! And the room was very modern/sleek. However, there are several issues that need to be addressed. Various repairs such as entrance door, coffee table, balcony windows, etc need repairs. There was no on site management, the usual amenities werent there and the room was just plain dirty. The walls & floors are all white and there were lots of black smudges everywhere & the kitchen didnt appear to have been cleaned from previous guests other than the dishes that were left in dishwasher. With there being no on site management, it sounded like a night club right above us all weekend, with loud booming music from a party & obviously DJ. This is not a resort in any way, shape or form.
I was scared to stay here because of the bad reviews but after my stay at Bali Bay, I don’t understand why they’d have bad reviews!!! THE PLACE WAS AMAZING!! Very clean when we arrived, perfect room waking up to the beach every morning, the no-key: code entry made it easy for all my guest to enter the room. The decor was very modern and beautiful. I LOVEEEEEDDD BALI BAY AND LOOK FORWARD TO RETURNING! It was worth every penny!
The set-up and style of the suite is modern and sleek. However, our 3 bedroom/3 bathroom suite had many issues that needed to be addressed. Only ONE of the bathrooms was stocked with 2 toilet rolls. We had to stock the other bathrooms. The king size bedroom remote control was missing. We called to have someone bring the remote (we arrived around 4pm), but maintenance didnt show up until the next morning. The beds are/were HORRIBLE, HARD and squeaked badly in room 405 (if wanting to be intimate with your mate, its impossible not to be heard) . My back hurt so bad. 2 of the guest couldnt sleep in bed, so they slept on couch for 4 nights. Who wants to pay money to stay at a resort only to sleep on the couch. Customer service was HORRIBLE. We called the front desk several times; no one picked up. Supposedly, no manager(s) was on duty. If there was an emergency Sierra (Lady at front desk) stated she would have to call a manager and the manager would assist her in solving the problem. We had to sweep trash in a corner for 4 days because we didnt have dust pan to pick up and empty trash. There was a rumble throughout our stay here. We didnt know if it was the ocean or someone moving something downstairs. The main door was hard to close and squeaked really bad. We dont mine paying for a great living experience while on vacation, but we need customer service to be even greater. Unfortunately, that was not the case for room 405 at Bali Bay Resort. BTW (by the way), when we were checking out, we met 2 families who had similar complaints. One lady said she had to buy pain medicine to take because her body hurt from laying on mattress. Parking is terrible. You shouldnt squeeze a resort in every little corner if you dont have enough room to accommodate cars. Needless to say, we will not say here again.
The condo was pretty and within walking distance to family kingdom. Nice place if you just want someplace to lay your head. Bad things were microwave didnt work. When we called for maintenance, we were told the owner was heading to pick up a new one and he would be back to replace it. Never happened. Also no broom to sweep sand off of tile floor, and was really slick for walking.
Could be better for the money we paid. Need updating badddd!! Beds horribly couldnt make love nor toss and turn at night without waking the whole house. No rugs floor coldddd. I wouldnt come back neither will I recommend this place to family and friends $800 for two days down the drain!! Room 502

The 7 bedroom condo was beautiful. It was spacious and convenient to everything. We had a little bumps but nothing that ruined our trip. The night view was breathtaking.
Very hard to check in miles down the strip from hotel. No close parking when we got there. No carts for carrying luggage to room, not easy with 4 kids. Had to park blocks away. Walked in room looked awesome, lots of space, THEN, Floors filthy (could not go barefoot), kitchen faucet about to fall off, electric socket coming out of wall, handle on shower door just hanging there, neither shower door closed tight flooded the floor, bathroom door didnt latch to close it, light switch fell off on the floor. NO POOL, TOLD TO DRIVE DOWN THE ROAD TO OTHER HOTEL USE THAT POOL. PACK ALL STUFF, 4 KIDS, DRIVE FEW MILES, PARK WALK TWO BLOCKS TO USE THAT POOL. Pool right under our balcony. EMPTY. Should have been told up front. NO POOLNo one on site to ask for help. Cleanliness a 0, Helpful a 0, Recommend NO View a 10 NEVER BE BACKPrice Way high for dirty no pool 3 nights almost $700 (with a deal)
It is a great double room condo with a hell-of-a view, a real full sized kitchen and a washer and dryer!You cant ask for much more for a beachfront condo
Reason of my 1 star customer service is horrible room was ok other than the noise the uncomfortable bed I lefted a day early didn’t get my money back yet it’s been a week l. FYI be careful who you give your information to I asked for corporate number the manager did not know it so soon as I get that information it will be a complaint I have been getting the run around about MY MONEY it didn’t take a week for the company to withdraw my money so I’m very disappointed I will never go to Bali bay again
2 stars maybe 21/2 stars at the most. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Room was clean on arrival I must say but was missing remote controls for TVs, some rooms was hot and some was too cold. Hard to get in through the doors, had to punch in the codes multiple times. Parking was terrible and on our last night stay we got towed because our parking tag had fallen and couldnt be seen. You would think that since we had to give our license plate number upon arrival, we shouldve gotten a courtesy call or something. Security couldve easily verified that we belong there if he wouldve call to the office first before making the call to call a tow truck. Just ridiculous!!!! I call to the office complaining about it and guess what no help from the office, not even try to help with the situation a little!! Very poor customer service!! Very poor up keep in the room. Could be a whole lot better. You do have the space and ocean front but thats it. Not even an ice machine on site. Pool was very dirty. No amenities at Bali bay!! Not worth the money at all. Will not be coming back to that place ever even if it was for free. Very unsatisfied customer. Would not recommend this to anyone. The Pictures thats been shown is misleading!! And the manager Stacy wasnt helpful at all. Wasnt even trying!!! I really believe in customer service and she seem like she wasnt concerned at all!!
The rooms are spacious. It might be better to park in the lot across the street. Not set up as a hotel so they didnt supply toletries when we stayed.
Stayed in 405 at Bali Bay from 11/30/2018 thru 12/02/2018. The view was AMAZING. The room was very cold and uninviting, very much like a hospital waiting room, only with less decoration. The walls were very dirty, including footprints and blood on the walls. The shelves of the fridge/freezer had not been cleaned. Appliances were not clean and dishes from prior guest were still in the dishwasher. There was a very foul odor in the kitchen area. There was a hole in the floor and the floor was sticky in areas. There was LOUD music playing into all hours of the early morning, making it very difficult to get to sleep. The top of the coffee table in the living room was so loose we were afraid to place a single drink on it. There were pieces of cardboard stuck in sides of the living room window. It was very apparent that recent repairs were not complete or had just not been done properly. I certainly would not have considered this to be a resort. There was no on-sight management and it definitely did not have the amenities you would expect a RESORT to have.
