The room is really nice and also the view. However we never received our parking passes. Hopefully we will not be towed because this is day too with no passes from them and we were told that they will bring them to us. The pool is also really nice and a plus.

We just stayed at unit 405 at Carolina dunes. The place was ok but we will not return. Some of the condo was renovated but some was not. The couch was terrible. The beds were hard. There was no sound proof in the building. We heard everything outside the condo. I think because it’s older glass etc. we heard everything upstairs from us. Constant banging door. Fireworks were going off late at night. Could not sleep. Pool was supposed to be closed at 10 but people went in there late and partied so it kept us up. One positive thing, we didn’t have beach chairs so we asked and the rental company brought 4 new ones so thank you for that. We have been to mb for years and have stayed at better places than this. For the money we spent on this place it should have been a lot better place.

Penthouse was very nice. Stayed here for a family wedding and shared the penthouse with family. Great location and the views of the beach were wonderful. The penthouse we stayed in was very nice. Lots of space and the beds were comfortable. Some minor updates with the finishes are needed but nothing that took away from our experience. We spent a total of 4 nights here and had no complaints. We will be back again.

A group of us were visiting Myrtle Beach and staying at Carolina Dunes to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Unit 501 was perfect, newly renovated so everything was new. Very comfortable beds, good linens, well equipped kitchen, roomy, comfortable living room. Looks just like the photos. The building itself has been updated and is extremely well kept and cared for. Pool area is a lovely setting on the beach side surrounded by pretty gardens. All new loungers and tables. The whole area is clean and pristine. Any staff we met were friendly and pleasant and constantly working to keep the place perfect. Walking along the beach, we all agreed that Carolina Dunes was one of the better maintained buildings and grounds and had the best location for the pool area. We also were within a 10 minute walk to four good restaurants - Carrabas, Outback, Flamingo Grill, and a Mexican restaurant. We will definitely return to Carolina Dunes.

If you have reviewed the website and wish to stay at Carolina Dunes, be sure to rent directly from them and not The Caravelle who also rents rooms there. The rooms you rent from Carolina Dunes will be renovated. The rooms you rent through The Caravelle are old, dirty, moldy, and disgusting.

Quiet spot. Condo was very nice. It looked like it was just remodeled. Owners are very nice.

Nice and homey feeling... The pool is great and the beach is a couple steps away Theres a guy named Charlie that does room service and hes a great hard working guy! Charlie if you see this keep up the hard work!!

We chose the Carolina Dunes because we wanted a small complex. We also liked the fact that all rooms are oceanfront. The condos are spacious and include everything one might need in a home away from home. We will definitely return!

This is the first time that we stayed here and it was a wonderful experience. Anita A (Front desk) gave outstanding customer service on helping us checking into our rooms and gave us excellent recommendations on where to shop and eat during our Thanksgiving vacation. Rooms were clean and amenities were up to par. Our housekeeper was very polite and provided excellent customer service during our stay. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Fair pricing. Had to be moved because the first room was dirty and smelled musty however the second room was great. They also have us a $75 credit to the hotel restaurant for the first room being so bad. Make sure and leave notes for the house keeping staff if you would like anything other then a quick pick up and sheets done

The condos are old. The condo I stayed in smelled like urine and the beds were hardWe stayed in unit 101. It has a urine smell that we complained about since the 1st day. The balcony door is rusty and the ceiling is patched. The curtains are dusty, the beds sofa was uncleaned, the beds were old and hard and taped with duct tape, and the showers were old. Also they had to replace the refrigerator because it wouldnt cool our food. Because everywhere else in myrtle beach was booked, we had to stay here 7

Our stay at Carolina Dunes was perfect! Condo was everything we expected plus some! Very clean and updated! I liked the fact we were on the end unit and was more private. We are planning a yearly trip back!

I have stayed here 6 times now, and the place is always great! Wonderful for families! You can use all facilities at the Caravelle, but the Dunes has everything a family needs.

Great 3 bedroom condo right on Myrtle Beach. Beautiful kitchen and open concept. Updated. Plus was having our own new appliances and washer and dryer. Would stay again.

My family has been going to the caravelle resort for close to 50 years if not more. We always stayed on the main building until the past 3 when we decided to move over to the Carolina Dunes. I have really enjoyed the new accommodations. The rooms are neat and spacious. The only gripe I had this year was that the televisions in both rooms did not work right. Im sure if i had called to complain the problem would have been fixed but I simply contented myself with reading a few books and didnt really miss the tube. As always the maids are as thorough as you need them to be, and the ocean front access cant be beat.

I stayed in Penthouse 1 (701) and one of the roof in the first bedroom had a leak and would drip on the bed every time it rained. The roof and balcony had coach-roaches during the night. The door needed a few tries to open. The pool was almost always open. The rooms were messy and and we were ignored after reporting it multiple times to eliott rentals

I found the Carolina Dunes this past summer and what a great place to stay. Luxury Beach Rentals has some very nice upgraded condos to choose from. The complex is not too big so it was easy coming and going to your condo. The condo we stayed in had just been completely update and was super nice! The views are fantastic and this part of the beach is very nice, not so congested as the downtown area. I will defiantly stay at the Carolina Dunes again!

Stay away from room 506. The place is covered in mold as you can see in the pics. We had to cover all of the couches and chairs with sheets so we didnt sit on mold. Beds are terrible, carpets are dirty and the place is not clean at all when you arrive. It is also not insulated well so you hear all the noise from outside and the loud music from the hotel next door. Linens are very poor quality and are not very clean. And the room smells like mildew.

On the beach. Great location. You can even rent surf boards near 67th Ave N access from Kokopelli Surf. Enjoy the sun, the pool, the ocean, ....

Everything was great. Very spacious and has all the comforts of home. Tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of congested traffic. Will definitely be staying here again.
