Absolutely loved this resort! The location is perfect, with lots of places to eat/drink/play, and the amenities are great. The lazy river is nice (if you can find a kid free time), but it can get crowded. Our ocean front room was a bit compact, but for 2 people it was fine to navigate. We had a king size bed and it was extremely comfortable. The bath room was spacious, and we had hot water with great water pressure. The concierge, Marc, was helpful and awesome.
We stayed 4 nights and we had a great time. We got a sunset view room which was nice view of ocean Blvd, washer/dryer and a kitchen. We cooked our own meals to save $ because eating out can cost you in myrtle Beach . Room was clean. Nice sized pool, lazy river and hot tub. Resort is oceanfront. Social distancing and masks in common areas. We would stay again.
I really wish I could leave a zero star review. If I could, I would. This place was horrendous. From giant roaches, to horrible house keeping to nonstop weed smoking by the other guests.After checking out, I decided to read reviews and the person from the business that replies to everyone (assuming the manager) keeps promising to get things changed (even reading reviews from a year ago), but nothing has changed.Lets start with the weed issue. From check in to check out, the entire floor smelled like weed. I called the front desk to let them know and was told we will send security up right away. An hour later and no one ever came up. That is beyond a joke and completely unacceptable.Found a giant roach in the living room area that was approximately 2.5-3 inches long on day 1 of the stay.If you stay here (which I highly suggest not to) then I hope you dont plan on sleeping at night. The guests are loud at all hours of the night with music and running around and hitting the walls. Again the front desk was called and nothing was done so this place obviously doesnt care about its guests and only wants your money.The only 2 good things about this place was the view on the patio of the beach and the people at the front desk were nice.I will never stay here again and I highly suggest you stay away from it as well.Also, who ever comments from the business side, do not comment on this saying we will address the issues and we hope you give us another chance because I have seen these same issues from other people and you commenting saying those things from well over a year ago and things clearly havent, and wont, change and I will never stay here again.
The location is nice and on the beach and broad walk and restaurants and shops, but unfortunately the room at this hotel was far to small. My boyfriend and I had to sleep in separate beds due to the beds being small, and that building needs a serious update. To dim and rooms way to small and to confined. The only part that was large and felt comfortable was the balcony over looking the ocean.
Beautiful and well-kept. Gorgeous view of the beach and boardwalk. Never disappointed with this place. Even more pleased now that all the elevators are finally running and the waiting to get on one is not such a long wait anymore.

Perfect location, amazing views and great value. I stayed in early November, I imagine its much more hectic and crowded during the summer. We had a wonderful long weekend. I would definitely stay here again.
I have visited Bayview many times. While the lobby has been recently updated, they need to update their rooms. The popcorn ceiling was falling down and they didnt vacuum it up, the coffee pot was broke, the microwave was duck taped with black tape, the tub in one of the bedrooms; the bottom of it was cracked. Dont get me wrong its in a great location and accessible (walking distance) to the Boardwalk, but there is a desperate need to update those rooms and furniture.
This was a nice resort. To my surprise I had 2 balconies a city view and ocean view. This place also had a washer and dryer in my suite which was the icing on the cake for me. Also, the beds were comfortable and room was so enjoyable that you can leave the bedroom and use your private entrance to the balcony. This was worth the .
My wife booked this hotel for our 6 year wedding anniversary. We were only here for 1 partial night and one full day. We arrived late Saturday night 10/3 to find that we had to park in a parking deck completely across the street. While checking in at the front desk the lady was very short and didnt seem to enthused about having to come out of the back room to check anyone in. We immediately noticed the thermostat didnt go below 68 degrees which we can live with but, would like it colder. We went out to get dinner and came back to our room at 72 degrees. We figured out that no matter what setting you put the thermostat on it would just go back and forth between hot air and cold air. Even with the thermostat off completely there was still intermittent hot air. This morning Sunday 10/4 we noticed a HUGE stain on the sheets on one of the beds. With Covid youd like to think they wouldnt even use stained sheets even if they have been washed and sanitized properly. Its just a bad look. Its currently 2am on 10/5 which is our check out date and Im laying here in a 73 degree room just waiting for the second my wife wakes up so we can leave. Anything longer than 1 full day here would beabsolutely intolerable. The best parts of this anniversary trip was every second werent in the room.

If I could leave zero or negative stars I would. First room we saw clearly hadn’t been cleaned. There was food all over the carpet, long black hairs all over the floor, in the bathrooms, and in the fridge. Surfaces clearly hadn’t been wiped. The title floor was sticky and full of dirt and food. Broken glass on the bathroom floor. We were moved to a new room and assured it had been cleaned more thoroughly. Used Q-tip on the bathroom floor, more black hair everywhere, dirty bedding, used dryer sheet just hanging out in the middle of the floor. We left this hotel so fast when a large cockroach started climbing up the wall. Avoid at all costs. During a pandemic I expect extra cleaning measures. Cockroaches, used Q-tips, broken glass- too many safety concerns to count.
I’ve stayed at Bayview exclusively for the last 6-7 years(multiple trips each year). Bayview was the only place I would consider staying for our vacations because no other place came close to what we were looking for and expected from our hotel. My most recent trip, 9/7-9/12/20, will be our LAST stay at Bayview. I understand times and procedures have changed with the COVID-19 pandemic at hand, but the issues we had during our stay didn’t result from it. Housekeeping has fallen off dramatically. If and when they came in to service the room, used towels would be picked up, kitchen trash taken out only, and the new towels for 1 bath of 2 would be left on the kitchen counter. We shrugged this off as no big deal, but on day 2, we returned to our room to find the hall way door leading to the main door left unsecured and the main door left held open with the “night latch.” No employee was anywhere on the floor we were staying on. We had no clue who else if any one had been in our room. Luckily nothing was missing, but with not knowing, we had to re sanitize everything in the room over again. This is unacceptable. I notified the front desk after the first occurrence, and was told the manager was in a meeting, but had been made aware of the situation and would contact me as soon as they were done. After 3 days of trying to speak with someone, the front desk assuring me that they were giving the messages with my cell number to the managers, and another incident where the doors were left open, I have yet to hear from anyone. (Today is 9/13). It’s almost as if the attitude of the hotel has changed to not caring about the needs and safety of the guests. The last 2 problems I had technically were out of the hotels control, but to make whoever reads this aware, we couldn’t even enjoy sitting on the ocean front balcony because of the amount of marijuana that was being smoked on/in the rooms surrounding us. This was an every hour occurrence all through our stay.Finally, when we were checking out, there were several guest checking in. It was very busy out front. My wife was waiting with our luggage while we were getting the car from the parking deck. She was approached, while standing at the front door, by another guest at the hotel and propositioned for s*x. The same guest lingered around her and our belongings until I had returned. Maybe the hotel should consider having security or a member of the staff present if there are more that 3 vehicles in the loading and unloading area. This could have became a very big issue for anyone there. I notified the front desk of this as well. With all that has transpired over this stay, as much as we LOVE staying at Bayview, we will not return nor the friend and family that we have introduced and recommended Bayview to for the last 6-7 years.If any of the management wishes to contact me, please do! You have my numbers on file. Would be nice to finally be able to speak to someone.
It’s on a very good location. Get out of room and straight to beach on backyard. The walkway path is very nice to stroll too. Rooms are big spacious and with all mentioned facilities. Only issue I faced was loud noise from the modified trucks making nuisance on street till midnight, since I got the room facing the street. If possible select beach facing room and life would be peaceful

We stayed here Sept 4-Sept 7. From the website and outside this looks like a wonderful hotel. The inside tells a different story. We registered and headed to our room. There was NO AC. The heat index was 103° the AC was OFF. We were told they were working on it. We went out to dinner. Back in the room 2 hours later and still no AC. Finally after 3 hours the thermostat is working but, It only goes as low as 70° and it’s still 73°. Figure ok needs time. We get up in the morning, it’s now 75° and there are roaches on the floor. Disgusting!!We call the front desk and ask for the room to be cleaned and leave to hang out on the beach. Come back 6 hours later, room is still not cleaned. Call the desk and they say they are still working on cleaning. We go to dinner and come back 3 hours later. Room has not been cleaned. Get up in the morning and get ready for the beach. Call the desk and ask again for the room to be cleaned, garbage taken out. They assure us it will be done. We come back after 5 hours and there is a bag of towels hanging on the door. Go inside and nothing has been done. Trash still full, bed not made and dirty towels still in the bathroom. We were there 4 days and not once was the room cleaned.We will never stay here again.

We love this resort, but many of the employees were not complying with city mask mandate, so I would not recommend it at this time. I was unimpressed with the safety measures.
The toilet in our room was clog up since we arrived. Called the front desk over 5 times. An they lied to us about someone coming to fix it. My husband also paid for a ocean front room an we got a room without a ocean view. Asked the ladies up front about our room an asked for the correct one. They said it’s nothing they could do because we booked our room through booking.com. They were very rude an didn’t seem to care. The ac in the room wouldn’t cut off. The worst stay I ever experienced at Myrtle beach. We will never go back there to stay ever again.
Staff were not knowledgeable about local events. Rooms and furnishings were reminiscant of a 1980 Super 8 motel. Definitely not the quality that I was expcting from this resort. It looks like a great deal of time, money, and effort, were spent to make the resort grounds look amazzing; however, that same effort should have been spent on bettering the accommodations. It was not worth the money.

Clean rooms. Great location. Pools could use renovation. No outdoor pool. But great if you spend all day on the beach. Balconies could use deep cleaning, but probably due to seagulls.
I have stayed here previously. I am having the same issue as before. I like the facility. I like the restaurants and bars. The check in is horrendous!!! I sit in the lobby waiting on my room to be ready. I am watching person after person check in. I have been sitting here for over an hour and MY room isn’t ready but everyone else is checking in. This is an exact repeat from the last time I stayed here. I. Will. Not. Be. Back.
Overall a good stay, rooms could have been cleaned a little more. The baseboards were dusty and on top of refrigerator was very dusty. The metal Bed rail broken on one of the beds and my wife cut her leg on it. It was just wedged in the wooden part of the frame. The vent in bathroom had mold on it. On a good note rooms were huge and spacious. The view from balcony was awesome and the staff was friendly.
Was told when reserving i would have a sunset/beach view, that was a lie. Was told I could arrange a later check out and it was noted on my reservation. But come so find out last day i cant. Maid walk on without knocking. Rooms are disgusting. Hotel is clearly infested with termites since I found termite dust in the cabinets by the dishes. Tvs have multiple remotes that dont even work. Drawers are broken so you cant use the dressers. And my room had tape all over the walls. Which makes me concerned with how clean the room actually was before entering. This place is equivalent to a cheap motel.
Love this hotel just wish their cleaning staff would do better between people.staying! Sand all in the washer and dryer shows it was not even looked at other than that amazing room for the price and location!

We decided to head to the beach and just wing it instead of booking a hotel. we looked at a few of the booking sites and this hotel had a 7 star rating, so we decided to stay. hotel looks good from the outside, but it stops there. If any type of clean is up your ally, then you need to find a different ally. They dont clean your room during your stay, nor make your bed. stay elsewhere.
It was okay from what I could tell. My reservation was cancelled and I was not able to get a room. The Manager was helpful in me and my family finding another resort!! It would have been nice to stay, maybe next time!
I wrote a whole response but I guess it didnt save. When we arrived here our room was hot & the thermostat read 74 so we set it on 71. The sheets on one of the beds looked as if someone had worn there shoes to bed & the bedding for the sleep sofa had a huge hole in it the size of a basketball. The counteracts & table appeared to be unclean as well. Some time went by & we noticed the room was still hot & the thermostat still read 74. I called the front desk & spoke with a guy that displayed absolutely zero customer service skills & was very condescending. He told me my issue sounded like a maintenance problem & since they were gone for the day I would have to call back tomorrow. I am still unsure as to why I would need to call back when I had already told him(front desk) the issue but anyway.....the next morning, I received a text asking about my stay which I explained again. No one ever responded nor came to fix any of the issues. Our stay was very uncomfortable especially having small children. Definitely not a place we plan to return to & will definitely advise friends & family against staying there
Location and views were great. Other than that. Not impressed. Sheet on one bed had black stains like someone had worn their shoes in the bed. You have a thermostat in the room but no real control of the temp. We cut everything off and still had heat pumping into the room making very hard for us to sleep.
We are looking into planning our well overdue honeymoon for October this year & Bay View Resorts is our #1 on the list!!! The exercise room looked very clean & up to date. I do plan on using it on our next trip there. As well as starbucks! Ice machines were close by & clean. We even got a free DVD rental one night! Location was fantastic! We parked our car in their parking garage & didnt use the car again until we left at check out! Everything you want is close by. We even got up early one morning & had our coffee on the beach, as we watched the sun rise! Very beautiful! Highly recommend Bay View. It was our 1st resort & we loved every minute of it!
The suite is so worth every dime. I can’t wait to come back I’m coming to this hotel. My girls trip is definitely coming to this hotel.
Beware that your A/C may not work properly do to the fact it is tide to another guest room Very odd. Spent 4-days sweating in our sleep, and yes we called front desk and no help. Our bed must have had a elephant sleep in it because it was totally smashed in on one side.
We visited the Bay View Resort to celebrate our anniversary. This was a wonderful stay from the beginning to the end. The check in process was very professional and pleasant. The room accommodations were truly a home away from home atmosphere! The daily telephone calls to see if our needs were being met were appreciated. We will definitely stay at The Bay View Resort again!
Just arrived today for a 4 day stay, not sure if I will be here that long. Our room wasnt ready until 5 pm. I had to come in and go behind the maids with clorox wipes.I also requested a room between the 5th and 8th floor, even called to verify yesterday before we got here, however they have me on the 15th floor.I HAVE NEVER seen anything like it.
Greeted by friendly staff. Rooms were not serviced at our stay. Shower Barely drained. I bright my own Lysol wipes to keep room sanitized. The balcony view was a joke, couldn’t see Water unless you leaned over the balcony. Trash built up in hallways. The location was good and staff responded quickly to needs.
The one bedroom oceanfront condo that I had was nicely laid out and very roomy. The only issues I had with this place is that it was not very clean, candy wrappers on the bedroom floor that were stuck under the beds and the bathroom tile floor was very dirty. Also found the top of an artificial fingernail on the living room floor. The lock on the balcony door was broken, the closet door in the bedroom was broken, and around the edges of the bed there was some areas that were broken. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was okay but the staff was not friendly at all and it needs much more thorough cleaning especially during COVID-19.
Negative: The hotel is very dated. The staff are not friendly or helpful and social distancing is not enforced. My room reaped with smoke. The balcony was filthy.

Great location right on the boardwalk. Starbucks literally attached to the hotel. Amazing staff. We had an unfortunate issue with the AC unit not working and George and Lameea were quick to respond, awesome to interact with and resolved the problem quickly. Will definitely be back.
Loved of partial oceanfront suite with two balconies. This room is one of my favorites bc of all of the amenities within the room. Full sized stove refrigerator, dishwasher, washer and dryer. Ive stayed here multiple time and really enjoy it. The only thing I didnt like this trip was the elevators. Only one family allowed on at a time which became a game to find a empty elevator lol. Will be back
Bay view used to be my favorite hotel at myrtle beach. This time was the worst. Even though checking in was quick. On the other end of the counter, the front desk attendant was loudly flirting with a guest. I didnt care about them flirting. They were just so loud. I called down to front desk twice for two things and they never came up. Our room was not clean. The chair had food stains. There was old boneless chicken on the floor. Popcorn behind the sofa. Dirty dishes in the oven. And I still havent received my 100.00 security deposit back yet. Overall I just couldnt get over how unclean the room was. Especially with COVID going on. Thank you bay view for the times I did enjoy. I will not be returning.
It was a great location. And a good price. The hallway smelled and the front desk not so nice
It is right on the beach of course, but has a very manicured lawn, with shade, and garden linedSidewalk that makes for a variety of relaxing options. Umbrellas and chairs put out on beach for a fee. Conveniently located between two piers. Housekeeping and maintenance were right there when you needed them. Full size kitchen and washer and dryer. Parking worked out well. All in all worked out fine.
We loved our view from the room, but the resort was definitely on the value end of places. If you want a cheap ocean front room without the luxury part, this is the place. Beds were ok, there was damaged walls and light fixtures. The pools were small. Our stay was at the end of October and we could not use the pool or hottub because of they were so full. I was very disappointed with the lack of security, everywhere we went all we could smell was marijuana. Not what I want my small children exposed to.
I stay there this past Thursday Thur Sunday it was the worst place to stay I suppose to have ocean view but I got a street view and it took them four hours to clean up glass in my room they promise to me next day because I had the wrong room but don’t and also told me they will give me 50 percent off if I come back they will not give it to me in writing please don’t waste your money there at all the housekeeper didn’t clean out the hold time we was there the manager and maintenance is bad plus I got trap in the Elevator this place is a dumpster
It was a great stay and close to the beach. Not far from food or many attractions. Ill be back again.
Should one decide to make reservations with this property be aware that no one will answer the phone if you press 1 for exsisting reservations, answer email or text messages to cancel. They apparently do not know who is an actual register guest as I received a text and an email regarding my stay and I never checked in as a guest of the resort. I was however able to reach Tammy, by pressing 5 for group sales, to resolve the issue of charges on my credit card. Tammy was very helpful and understanding. Thank you Tammy. You are the best. Note to reply please read what I said. I have not stayed at your resort nor do I ever intent to in the future. The reply I received makes it pretty clear that attention to potential guest is not a priority.
Nice place, great location. Broken coffee maker, no remote for TV, temp control not working. We got the remote.
Review of 1810- loved the room layout with city sunset view and ocean view. Best part of the hotel. Room needs to have everything updated. Faded pictures and dated furniture with dark dining area. Our room phone did not work either. So we couldn’t call down to ask for towels or trash change. We had to call in our cell phones.Check-in was torturous. Not enough desk clerks to work the high volume late afternoon checkin. Our trash was never changed nor towels. Even after I tried to talk to a cleaning staff in the hallway. Generally the “resort” needs a good cleaning. Pool area was ok. No outside pool. Way too many people in hot tub that stayed too long. Even after a employee asked people to take turns. The hot tub seemed dirty.Doubtful we will return and won’t recommend to others.

Worst hotel in myrtle beach simply because of service. Called to make our reservation in the afternoon and gave our credit card information and everything to book. Upon arrival at 9:30 at night we were told we couldn’t check in because neither of us were 25. I am 22 and my boyfriend is 24. No one checked with us on the phone or informed us of their new policy that apparently went in to place 2 weeks ago. And they had already charged the full price of the room on our credit card and offered nothing to make up for the major inconvenience of not having a hotel at 9:30pm. Worst customer service I’ve ever had to deal with.**response post owner comment**I have no problem with your policy. My issue is with the fact we were not informed before arrival. That policy is not normal and therefore you should be letting guests who are making reservation aware of it, and verify their age.And we had a wonderful stay actually 1 mile south of this complex at Compass Cove, they had so many pools, multiple lazy rivers, a tiki bar, great beach access, and amazing customer service. I would fully recommend anyone staying in Myrtle Beach to chose that hotel. Also the area surrounding it seemed way safer. While we were a few minutes south of the boardwalk, the surrounding area and hotel service made up for it.
It was a good room to me yet had a burn mark on the couch already but was post to be a none smoking. I havent received my 100$ deposit back yet and thats my only issue I have! They tell you 3-5 business days then Ive called so many times after the 5th day explaining how I havent received it. So then I was told itll take 10 business days. Well its been 10 business days so I dont understand what the issue is. Every other time I book a hotel at the beach I always get my deposit back either the next day or no more than 3 days afterwards.Spent my last dollars here just to have a good birthday and was depending on my deposit.
Room was nice but could have been cleaner. Trash from past guests in left in room, no toilet paper in room, bathroom towel rack was broken. We loved the pool, and the access to the beach.
Nice hotel. The ocean front condo was beautiful with a great view and a pier in both directions. The beds could be better and we didnt get the frying pan we asked for, that was supposed to be in the kitchen but wasnt, so I had to go buy one. Getting an elevator to check out and leave seemed like a chore. Definitely will stay again.
The only reason im giving 4 stars because the Loss Prevention/Security folks are amazing here, the rooms are out dated and basically falling apart, you barely ever see the matinince folks, the popcorn ceilings are crumbling,theres holes or scapes in the walls, the tile in the rooms are so slick you almost fall all the time, the air con drips, and the lazy river and hot tub walls are crumbling. Im utterly unimpressed, but security was awesome!

Room was not what was advertised. Air didnt hardly work and if you tried to use the heat it didnt hardly work either. The room was small, dirty and definitely not was reserved. Canceled my reservation while on the way down there without ANY notification.
We LOVED our stay at Bay View Resort! It made our family vacation awesome and being so close to everything on the strip made it even better!!!!!! The parking garage was amazing too!!!!!!! I loved how our car was protected from the weather as well as how it was protected from violators due to access only being granted to guests. The sunset view from the 19th floor was beautiful as well and my family really enjoyed sitting on the balcony at night.

My stay at the bay view was horrible I took my daughter out there for her birthday traveling all the way from Philadelphia and when we got there I had reservations for a ocean front view and they gave me the wrong room, once I complain it to front desk they put us in the correct room then we found a roach on the wall that’s when I started to get real upset at this point we complain again about that then they put us in a third room everything was find but once we go to lay down the bed sheets was dirty at this point I was tired and it was late so I walk down to lobby said something the lady told me sorry bout that and said she was going put us in a bigger room because the complaints she kept getting from us I wanted to leave but it was so late so I took the room when I get to the room it was the same room we had so we just left it alone and stayed once we got up in the morning we found a bed bug on the sheet at this point I wanted my money back and wanted to leave I had pictures to prove and showed to them I wasn’t lien after all that they still was trying to get us to stay I just left and got my money back and went to north shore for the rest of my 2 days down the street great hotel. This was the worst hotel I been at

Extremely good place. My wife and I love that its right on the boardwalk. We walk to the Sky-wheel and the ice cream shops. We also love the lounge chairs on the grass. We can relax and see the ocean. A really relaxing place.

The wait in the lobby was long. The lobby is small and unusual. Oceanfront view in amazing but the room smelled like smoke. The balcony was sticky and not cleaned. The garage is across the street and its poorly lit.
Bayview is amazing from check in all three way to your room. Love love love the resort.

I was expecting the rooms to be in better condition and better taken care of. However, the pool area was nice and the access to the beach with showers was convenient.
We have really enjoyed the condo. Very nice and helpful staff, clean suite, soft pillows and cool comfortable rooms. The only thing I would suggest is to make sure to request a cleaning...I am accustomed to cleaning the condo daily by housekeeping, which is normally just sweeping and making sure we have towels, coffee, soap ect...here they ask you to request this service. We will most likely return.
I enjoyed my birthday weekend there. The only thing that I will say is they need better house keepers. The staff at the front desk are super friendly!
My wife and I have stayed here twice the room was very nice and the staff were very nice. We loved how it was right on the beach and that it was close to everything in town we would definitely recommend this place.
Elevators were a joke. Took stairs several times with a heart monitor on! Lines to speak with guest services were terrible. Pool was overcrowded and small. Was locked out of room for 2 hrs in the middle of night because door broke. Barely compensated. Trash bins in hallway were disgusting and trash was overflowing, never emptied. Bed was nice.

Accommodations were nice! Clean, no complaints!! Lots of Bums around the property. I didnt care for that, and Boone else seemed to either.
Very nice, we enjoyed our stay. very centrally located to everything we were doing.
So let me tell you. Me and my girfriend went for my and hers birthday. Trust me when i tell you dont stay in room 1101 worst bed ever. And staff is full if promises. But no action.

I came to Myrtle Beach for my birthday!! Ive been dealing with alot since my mother passed away in March. So I needed a get away to get a peaceful mind and I couldnt have picked the best place to stay. The employees was the BEST Ive ever dealt with in my whole entire life!! The room was perfect and clean!! The balcony was perfect for sun rise to sun set!! Were coming back Labor day weekend and bringing family cause I want them to experience what we had!! I want to thank each and everyone that works here, for making my birthday weekend to wonderful!! See yall in September!!
Good stay overall. Room was dated but clean. Carpets were not as clean as the rest of the room. We stayed in an oceanfront condo. It had everything we needed for a week long stay.Elevators were scary....clunking, banging, and vibrating every trip. When we first arrived one elevator was stuck on the 11th floor and stayed that way until the next day.Lazy River water was murky. We wanted to swim, but it did not seem very clean.Location was fantastic! We had no issues during our stay other than those listed above.
The staff were nice enough and friendly, but the other guests ruined the experience for me. People were smoking in their rooms (non-smoking hotel) and it vented into my room, not to mention any time I stepped off the balcony it reeked of weed. I left the same day because I didnt feel comfortable or safe, even within my own room due to it reeking like an ashtray. I called to the front desk and they were nice enough, but said there wasnt much they could do except spray air freshener. Ive tried calling and emailing the hotel to talk with someone in management about my experience, but nobody has answered the phone or my email.
I love the view.Love the staff.The room was excellent!!!House keeping was excellent!!!The only issue was the hallways&elevators air conditioning needs to be turned on..It was hot&humid.Very pretty boardwalk.Outside lounge are very nice.Beach chairs with umbrella is awesome for 2 people.Or bring your own.Loved this place..
My stay was horrible..we had security beating on our door at almost midnight. When i ask him to show some id he told me he did not have to. He was very nasty i believe because we were people of colo. Front desk was no better she said someone could complain if you laugh to loud. I will never stay hete again . I felt as though we were targeted because of our color.
Accidentally booked room at this hotel instead of hotel with similar name next door. Were told $100 was not refundable because you paid that in advance. Decided to stay. The elevator smelled bad. The room was horrible. It smelled musty. The stove was dirty and the kitchen was dusty. The refrigerator was dented and had rust spots. The sofa was badly stained. The furniture was old and depressing. We decided to sacrifice the $100 and stay at the hotel next door. I would have driven home to North Carolina rather than stay there. The only bright spot was the nice young man who checked us out.
We were planning a cruise this year, but unfortunately covid hit and derailed that idea, so we decided on a staycation instead.We rented a suite here at bayview because the kids wanted to go swimming and the room had a full kitchen and the comforts of home. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and the girls at the front desk were so polite at both check-in and check-out. Bayview has a lot of positives and the location is perfect for enjoying the strip.
On September 11th I checked in at Bay View with no problem. When I got in my room 804A I was greeted by a big cookie on the floor as I walked further in the front room and trash was all in the corner. So I went to just sit my bags on the bed and the top covers had stains on them shaking my head I walked to the bathroom and hair was scrolled all over the floor like someone tried to take a rag and wipe but left everything, tooth paste was on the side of the cabinet and the grease stains was left on the top of the sank. Continuing to look I opened the refrigerator and brown stuff just all over, opened the draw eggs or something stuck all on a spatula. I took pictures and showed front desk she said she was sending someone to clean it so I told her I was gonna leave so they could 2hrs later I came back and the room still look the same i called down and she says someone went up there but u didnt answer. Frustrated I didnt understand what part of I was Leaving so someone can clean didnt she hear. By this time its 8pm and I said ill clean my own room.I sent message threw Ivy that I need to speak to upper management nobody spoke to me .
