This was a nice park. Well maintained and great equipment. Open space, and trails. My only draw to this park is that is is loaded with geese. If you are not a fan like me, be aware.
Great place, but only the bathrooms are far from the kids playground and way too many geese.. so lots of geese poop everywhere. Brand new playground is good. I wouldnt say its friendly for little ones. You have to really watch them.
One of the parks I feel has a Sunrise that is heaven sent ..very well keep.....
This can be a lovely park, but the geese are taking over. I cannot take a step without stepping in goose droppings and my children cannot play in the grass for the same reason. While playing on the play equippment, two bossy geese took over an area by the slide and chased my children and me from that area too.I love geese but this is an issue that will need addressing soon.
Love the walks at night. The lights are on for a long time. So calm and beautiful. Ducks are abundant.
The only reason Im giving it a two star rating is because all I got to do is drive by and see it. I didnt get to get off my car and walk on the grass. But it did look very nice. When I do get the chance to really enjoy a walk thru, Ill let you all know about it and maybe even give it a better rating. In the meantime, yall take care now. Ya heah?
A GREAT Place to walk your dog...or just to hang out...has porta potties on site..
Great park- beautiful trees and art, with space for frisbee.
Its always so well maintained and beautiful. I love it!
I love addenbrooke Park. It makes me proud to live in Lakewood, specifically this part of Lakewood, that features addenbrooke Park. But I do not love about the park and I feel conflicted about this, is a geese. Although the soccer fields are somewhat managed with metal cut out coyotes that deter the geese Landing in and parking in that area Hama most of the rest of the park is covered in a carpet of goose poop. The conflict is that geese need a place to pause also. They belong in the park as much as as humans. But the poop carpet makes the park unpleasant in many ways. Geese can sit and lay on the grass, its very uncomfortable for me to do that as a human.
Amazing views, nice playground, attractive short walking loop around the lake
Nice park. Good ball fields. Lots of shade
Absolutely great I love this park its so peaceful and clean it was absolutely wonderful to get outside
Beautiful park with lovely green grass, a workout area, soccer and baseball fields and a great place to think and chill out.
Huge park with every sport field you can imagine. My partner and I play squash on the tennis courts. For the specified squash court you have to bring your own net
Loads of shade trees. Lots of well maintained walking trails!
Beautiful, with plenty of trails for running, biking, and horseback riding... Great views to be found of Denver. Lots of recreational facilities.
Very nice park! Big open field, a few sports field, a small lake with various birds. A few picnic areas, playground and also an exercise area near one of the parking lots. There is also a nice childrens statue near the lake which is so cute! At one of the entrances there is a chimney with some mirrors around as an interactive space. Last time I visited there were no mirrors, pretty cool!
Great place for all outdoor enthusiests.
Nice green and big park with a pond, playground, soccer field, tennis courts and other amenities.
Well maintained park. Brand new tennis courts. New cement and very wide paths. If you have a horse and you are near this area, they have a nice arena and some nicely maintained horse paths also.
Pleasant walking area and fun park to bring kiddos. The slides at the playground are fun. There were 4 swans in the nearby pond when we went! Well taken care of area.
Good grass quality. Geese population is suitable.
Its a park.... Five out of five for being a park. (Big, fields, good playground)
Its the local hotspot for water birds, mountain view, and just a gentle stroll for families, pet owners, and camera bugs.
Cool mirror sculpture on the si?de
The park is big and theres parts for everyone to play and enjoy
Water fearures, outdoor sport facilities, immaculate lawns & gardens
Love this park. Nice area
Fun and big park, but the goose poop was excessive. Filthy sidewalks.
Beautiful open park with several large playing fields. Two entrances bring you to separate parking lots, one from Kipling and the other from Garrison. Now, a new Fitness Court opened in the area adjacent to the two parking lots. There is a pond off the parking lot from the Kipling entrance with lots of geese in the area. Gets busy on the weekends though.
Small park nice walk
Beautiful grassy open space for a picnic and walking.
Love the sidewalk access. Lots of walking paths
Beautiful well maintained park with a variety of activited available
A well maintained huge Park, lots of picnicking areas including open spaces for lawn games! Weekends get fairly packed, but lots of room otherwise! Was there Fourth of July, one group decided to randomly shoot off powerful fireworks including one in parking lot when I arrived, and landed mere inches in front of me on fire! I reminded young male adults who shot fireworks Rocket, its against the law and if it had injured me they would be in trouble!
Awesome family & Pet friendly park. This park is HUGE, there were multiple soccer games going. Baseball game and still with enough room for anyone to enjoy alone time, play at the park, jog the trail or like me find a spot to throw my dogs a ball and not worry about having to be close to anyone else !! Highly reccomend.
Good sized park for in town. Good amount of open grass area. The lakewood city workers, like any lakewood park, can make you feel kind of uncomfortable, like your in their way, or not suppose to be there . Nice pond/lake, playgrounds, baseball fields
Beautiful park with a nice view of the front range. There is a playground, baseball fields, large open fields for soccer or practicing fly fishing (yes, people do), and nice trails for running. There are some folks who ride horses here too, they tend to park in the dirt lot to the south and ride close to sunset. If you have kids who like horses, you might get lucky and spot them.
When I resided in the area, I would walk my dog through this park frequently. There are plenty of walking trails and the park is well maintained. There are entrances and exits on Garrison and on Kipling. I never had a problem parking.
I think it is cool I just miss the sand pit
Amazing park with a creek for the dogs to jump and play
Great neighborhood park
While I have had bad experiences here before with some kids stealing some gear, the park is generally a pleasant place to go. With a broad vista, the sunsets and moonrise can be quite beautiful.
New sidewalks and green grass, some sand...all covered in goose droppings. Filthy.
Well taken care of. Baseball fields. Nice lagoon & walking path. Great for dogs. Really nice and clean indoor bathrooms during summer. Year round port-a-potties.
At Addenbrooke, you have choices about how far you want to walk. The loop around the lake is about a half mile, but you can easily add as much as you want in the park. From the walk around the lake, you get a beautiful view of the foothills, and there are benches to sit and enjoy the view. Theres a small playground and several picnic areas, along with soccer and baseball fields (which make parking tight on weekends). As with all Lakewood parks, the city does an admirable job of maintaining this gem.
Lots of open fields,.park for kids, workout park, nice walking areas, pond, baseball fields, lots of parking, geese!
Good for walking dogs
A great place to get some fresh air.
Fun park with tons of open space. Theres a nice playground and a cute little pond as well and if youre into walking, its a good walk to do the full loop, just try to avoid the goose poop ;)
Got attacked by mosquitoes last night and porta potties smelled but it is a nice open park, not too trafficked
Beautiful park. Very big and a lot of places for different activities like working out and different sports.
Beautifully maintained.
Baseball & soccer fields, and play structures (gravel surface) next to 3 big pavilions. The pavilions each have 5-6 picnic tables; two are reservable, one is first come first served. The bathrooms are right next to the baseball field, which is not particularly close to the park/pavilions. No fishing in the pond, and seasonal goose poop. Overall a great place for gatherings large or small!
Its a pretty park, for an erban park. Ther are two entreces, each with there a parking lot. It has lots of open grass space. It has a nice looking small pond, as you come in the south kiplig entrance and go about 1/ 2 mile in. It has several bungalows next to the pond to reserve for large groups or for just any one who wants sit there. Its not the prettiest park Ive been to in Denver metro, but it is very nice and worth your time to go.
Great park. Good paths, good facilities.
Its peaceful and relaxing.
I was in the area the other night and wanted to get out and take a walk, was a beautiful night and just felt like stretching my legs a bit. It was about 9:30pm ish, so was already getting dark, but that was fine with me, was getting cooler. So I was walking around the park, thinking that it closes at 11pm, most city parks that I know of close at 11. The all of the sudden all the lights in the park went out at 10:30, was a moonless night so it was very dark! It really wasnt that big of a deal, it just took me by surprise. Luckily I had a flash light for the really dark areas. I still need to look up and find out for sure what time it does in fact close. Still is a very nice park!
Clean, friendly people, nice area.
Beautiful park with many trails. There are baseball fields, bathrooms, a playground, picnic area, and a sweet pond!
Great ballpark for the family.
Its a great park, especially for teaching young kids to ride a bike. The only reason for taking a start away is that theres way to much greasy goose poop all over the place. Hopefully theyll grind up the birds to feed the needy like Denver did!
Another park populated with a huge flock of geese year round. The grassy areas also are submerged in water a little bit so you want to watch where you step. I had to walk through this area one day when my daughter had a walk to school day and my feet were soaked because I had to walk through the grass. So just look where youre walking here because youre probably going to be stepping in goose poop or marshy water.
The only reason I dont give 5 stars is because, for the amount of goose traffic in this park, cleaning up their poo should be a daily task for the staff. Very unpleasant having to dodge all these land mines on the sidewalks. Aside from that, the park is beautiful, serene, and enjoyable at any time of the year.
This park has everything, except a doggie water fountain. My dog and I love coming here, it is always clean, green and keen!!
Has every thing.
Ive always loved this park. Very well taken care of and huge. I wish parking was a little more user friendly and there was more of it.
Was there for a baseball game or tournament - we had fun - it was a nice place
the fitness court!
This is a nice little neighborhood park, it has a big soccer field, gazebos and bathrooms, trash cans, a glorified pond thats admittedly well landscaped and has a peninsula w a playground on it which is pretty cool, and lots of walking/biking paths and space. Good for a walkabout, great place for dogs to walk, run, and play, generally pretty clean except during peak goose season (which can be said of most open spaces with bodies of water lol). Aesthetically pleasing as well, they did a good job with the water and land spaces, incorporating trees and naturally growing flora, and designing the walking spaces to give you options for length of walk and exposure to these green spaces.
Love this park, its huge! So many geese though
Clean and pretty. Everyone picked up the doggy doo and trash. Would go again
All natural beauty and can still see and hear peacocks that generations ago where the reason for Addenbrook Farm.
Beautiful park!!
Nice ball fields and walking areas.
Play equipment gets morning shade. Nice sidewalks for easy walking with a stroller. Downside is there is a lot of goose poop.
Beautiful! As a little pond, great picnic areas, huge field, and more.
Love this beautiful, large park. Has public restrooms im the summer, a creek runs through part of it, two seperate entrances and parking lots, great for a stroll, sports, or walking the dog. The garrison entrance also has shade in the parking lot.
Large space with plenty of walking paths and water features. Excellent playground with a tire swing. It has some pokestops and two gyms. Public facilities and drinking fountain. Kewl park, highly recommended for your public park needs.
Large open field, and 3 large pavilion areas make this park great! Playground could use updating.
Beautiful park, friendly walkers...just give the geese their space! Lol
We were here for a soccer game. The fields were in good condition and they have a beautiful view! The fields we were on were a little confusing to find, behind trees from the parking lot, but there might have been a sign we didnt see.
A beautiful park. Baseball area has limited parking and couldnt see overflow parking. I also didnt see signs if I could park along the street.
Clean beautiful walking paths ...green fields and lots of places to picnic playground for children
Found love, peace and understanding at this open space place. Lovely place to watch the sun fall behind Green Mountain.
Nice big spacious park.
Beautiful park! Great spot for a company picnic.
Nice park ... Lots of room ... You should check it out ...
