This is a great neighborhood park. The main playground is newer and a decent city. The toddler playground is a little old. Nice fields as well.

One of the best parks! Love coming here with the kiddos! Playground is very entertaining for them, with huge grassy area for them to run around and burn up all that energy.

This hidden gem is great for the whole family! Plenty of space & activities for every age. Parking off the street, Clean bathrooms & friendly locals.

Really good park for Baseball/Softball! They have a basketball court here as well. I see many runners here as well. Bleachers are plentiful around there

Passing through this city & stopped to let my dog stretch her legs...quiet park with most people around the kids play area...I guess Lakewoods not pet friendly as MANY signs posted dogs were prohibited WEIRD...I stuck to walking my dog to the outer perimeter after seing that & left

San Martin aka The Pumpkin Park. At this moment playgrounds, benches, basketball courts and softball fields are closed. Staff will ask you to leave the grass area. However you can walk around the perimeter of the park its nice to jog, ride bikes, scooters, skates etc. There is a bathroom between playgrounds (doubt its open rn due to covid19) Overall real family oriented kid friendly neighborhood park.

Clean, fun park with a fenced in lot for little kids and a couple of benches for weary parents. Downside is theres very little shade, so be aware.

Awesome Cinderella type park for bigger kids, and small fenced off park for smaller children. Also large field to run in, basket ball court, and wading pool for summer.

Good and accessible location with lots of things to enjoy for the whole family. Love the playground especially the A Cinderella style pumpkin carriage.

Weve been bringing our kids here for years and never had any problems, restrooms are kept up fairly well, and the staff is pretty helpful. It would be nice if the tether ball courts worked lol

Nice neighborhood park aligned more towards sports use than picnicking. Lots,of open spsce,and diamonds, a few covered picnic areas with tables. Small play area on the north east side across from Gomer school. Few trees dispersed along edges of park. Only one restroom facility in the Northside of park near play area and limited drinking fountains. Park is heavily used by youth sports programs for practice and games. During school year school will use for upper grades P.E. during normal hours.

This is my 8yo grandsons rating. He especially liked the play equipment that he can swing and hang on. I like that its small enough I can keep tabs on 3 grandkids at the same time.

Love this place. They had free games & jumper every last Friday of June.

Its a nice open area things to do all around big pool and a big lake and when you go out theres lots to see

Could use some tender loving care and a few repairs but this park is attractive the way it is. It has walking trails, places to sit down and ponder, routes for bikers. You will see single women running, families playing and picnicking, young people rollerskating etc. It has many lovely areas with Andes in the background . The area of reservoir is especially picturesque. There are also some magnificent monuments in this park. The park has signs with free wifi area designation but the wifi does not seem to work.

Loved the wadding pool and I was grateful for trees near by that provided us with shade.

I love this park and so do my two young Sons. They put in a new playground to just a couple of years ago and its very clean theres basketball courts handball courts BBQs baseball fields a little kids playground and if it gets play around Plus they have an office where you can check out and balls basketballs and more theres also a tetherball court on the other side all in all a great Park very safe in a great neighborhood very friendly staff

The play area was a Little run down and there were Red Ants all over were the small children play.

Clean well maintained park, even the bathroom is clean

As with most of the parks in the city of Lakewood, the restrooms are clean.The fields are nice and safe.The play areas (referring to the locations where the children climb, slide, hang, play in the sand, etc.) is usually good. There are instances where the kids have gotten sand up to and onto areas it should not be. But that is to be expected with kids.Always watch your children, not matter what park you may attend on on Earth, as some parents will shift their attention between watching their own child(ren) to doing something else that is not as important.Do not let your kid(s) run on the cement adjacent to the sand area. Too many times have I been a witness to where kids slip and fall due to the combination of sand, cement, shoes, and less friction. One child banged their side, arm, and head pretty good.What I can only refer to as a small banquet hall can be a great location for a small party. Please contact the location for details about using this room, but I believe it is solely for residents of the city, and must be booked well in advance, perhaps 60 days (?).

Nice park, unique equipment but it wasnt well maintained. The zip line didnt roll smoothly. Theres a lack of safe parking (i.e. no parking lot) near the playground as passing traffic makes getting in or out of the car a but if a hazard

Be Beautiful park everything is nice. Big baseball field and basketball courts . There’s a swimming pool with a kids park . No dogs allowed to walk around very well maintained and plenty of parking around the entire park.

Great local little park. There are two covered barbecue areas with sinks and picnic benches seating 30 or so. Two ball diamonds, two basketball courts, a handball wall and two playgrounds: one for preschool aged and the other up to 12 years. The parks in Lakewood are well kept and safe. The new playground is a favorite for children up to eleven years of age perhaps. Although I do see 12 yr olds playing here when I bring my children.

Great local park. Clean and well kept. Perfect for energetic kids so they can get their wiggles out.The play equipment has lots of fun and interesting things for the kids. And all of it is in good working order. Its a nice neighborhood and the families that come to this park make sure to take care of it nicely.There is a nice gated play area for smaller kids. The seasonal wading pool is also very nice. The grass is green and good for picnics or playing sports. Very nice park.Shelters are available for rent for Lakewood residents.

This is just a great park. Had two playgrounds, one that is fenced in for the littles and then the big castle themed and Cinderella pumpkin coaches with other equipment to climb and ride for the bigger kids. The wadding pool in the summer, basketball and tennis courts. Trees to climb and big field for baseball or soccer. In the neighborhood but next to an elementary school so you do have their bells. Parking is on the street unless there is a lot behind I dont know about, but usually is not an issue to get a spot.

Such a fun place to take ur kids... they have a playground for young toddlers and they have a playground for older bigger kids.... they have a swimming pool open in the summer months and also have day care summer camps for kids.... we just went to a carnival there and my daughter and I had so much fun....

This park is perfect for a party with large numbers... it has an enclosed playground for small children and even includes a pool for kids to refresh themselves on a hot day... it also offers some basketball courts and a big field. Overall, this is great park!

Nice park in a nice quiet neighborhood. 2 playgrounds one of which is for younger children. Bathrooms arent so clean but thats in almost every park. I havent noticed any weirdos or druggies there ( unlike Santa Monica parks ), just normal people using the park for what its for.

Our first time to play at the refurbished park ( San Martin) It is very nice! There is soft rubber mats and plenty of fun things for the kids to play on! Pretty and so colorful. *Please* make sure if your child or toddler is under 5 years old, that they have adult supervision on this ride, It is a rocking ride and if a small child is not capable of balancing they could fall and get hurt. We were there on Friday Dec. 26th 2014, and a small child was allowed to climb on without parental supervision, she was under 5 years old and she fell forward and bumped her nose! So, parents need to supervise little ones. My Granddaughter cannot wait to go back! She had a great time, we did not stay long because we were passing by. Very clean quiet park with lots of activities, I like that there is a gated section for babies and for the older kids it is separated.

There was a lady with three dogs without leashes. Her dogs charged my dog and I. Luckily nothing happened. She was warned by a CSO who saw the incident.

This park is very quite and relaxing, enjoy a walk or simply a breath of fresh air. The neighborhood people are friendly.

Clean, with 3 softball dimonds. Clean park and a cleaning lady came by to clean our trash can etc.
