This is a beautiful stretch of a walking path with very well manicured flora. If youre a birder, youll have a lot of opportunity to see a variety of interesting birds. Its fun to watch the herons hunt for gophers. One problem this place has is inconsiderate people leave litter at the entrance. Please take only photographs and leave only footprints.
Small but nice to have closed park looks very nice. Post Covid will be great
Me and my friends always have a pleasant walk there.
I love the piece of mind it gives me!!! Dont worry about the people on the river bed the HOMELESS THERE down to earth just need people to be NICE TOO THEM...I USED TO BE ONE OF THEM
Nice and green along walking path... Different colors with seasons. Level path, some shady spots.
Very nice trail. Visiters are nice too. There are big trees that provide adequate amount of shade. It is well maintained with planted flowers to attract butterflies. The water in the river along the trail is low, thus, we only found a snowy egret, and a great blue heron. There are plenty of common land birds like scrub jay, sparrows, and Finches.
Fun free walk with a nice view.
I love visiting this place
Love this trail and the people who frequent it.
Good for exercising or walking your dog. There is no amenities. No restrooms. Few wildlife. And few shaded areas.
Love this place! Clean. Great playground. Trees providing shade. Close to riverbed trail.
So peaceful, getting back to nature, in the middle of the city.
Nice place to walk your dog.
First time there, it was nice, very few people and a easy but short walk, will definitely go again.
Calm, relaxing nature
Wild Life is asome.
The SG River bike trail is a very pleasant and easy trail to navigate. The scenery and birds you may see along the way are such a delight. Generally, you can meet very nice and helpful people along the way...Its best to plot your map before you head out, so you know where the safe places for restroom breaks are located. You can bring your lunch and find a nice spot to rest or go with friends and meet up. The ride to Rivers End (Seal Beach) is about 30 minutes from Bellflower...(for example) ...On Sundays, there is a Farmer and Merchant market that takes place on Marina Drive (Just behind PCH & 2nd Str-in Long Beach)...There are many breakfast locations and good coffee in Seal Beach and Long Beach... Going North on the bike trail, you can stop in at El Dorado Nature Center or Eldorado Park...Its most fun and safe to travel with a group of friends or a meet-up group...If you like to ride solo, thats ok too...Enjoy !!
U can feed the bunnies next to the horse stable (south end). they re rebuilding the bathrooms .
Trail is gorgeous and very well maintained. Outstanding place for exercise. There used to be lots of big dogs off leash but I havent seen any lately, probably thanks to the adjacent dog park.
A very nice park to get some excerise
Nice little nature trail. A nice walk and is wheel chair accessible.
Nice nature walk and clean area
Beautiful. Love the walk.
Links all the parks we visit and a great way to exercise without having to worry about traffic.
A nice quiet walk along the riverbed. It can be warm and dry during the summer as there are few mature trees.
Super megga chill for smoking one bowl
This trail starts at Monte Verde Park. It goes to Carson and connects to a number of trails. Take a look on Google Earth. =)
