It’s a quiet place. It has a men’s restroom. Stinks, but the toilet does work. I saw two other people here. One was walking a dog and had on a mask. Nobody bothered me for not wearing one. The water in the pond is clear and relatively clean.

Wonderful little park. Has swings that my grandchildren (ages 14 & 9) loved. Great walking path and has seating available.

Delta took down 3 trees in park no structures or monuments damaged!

Very nice small Park. If you have kids though keep them away from the road speed limit is 40 miles per hour and they do every bit of that and then some. The park has lovely ducks an Ice Pond and I really nice play area for the kids. They have 2 sheltered picnic areas. However, just be advised that there are a few homeless people living in the area.

This is a very pleasant park if youd prefer a quiet escape, since it is rarely crowded. The veteran memorials are nice to read and appreciate.

A quaint little park with pieces of memoralbilia dedicated to our brave soldiers that died for our freedom. Never busy, nice little duck pond, quiet and a good place to walk a family pet.

Hooked a 10 cat fish, it was an awesome experience for my 5 year old son. Added bonus swings and slide as well.

Monuments dedicated to Veterans and those members of the Armed Forces of our USA! ! Playground for children, pond and fishing dock. Picnic tables, bbq pits and restrooms. This is a very small compact park with one street for entry and also serves as exit. Sometimes the best things come in small packages and that describes Veterans Park. The ambience of the guests is great. Parents are well behaved and children follow suit. Always a great experience as Ive visited here for years! ! My father, WW 11, retired from USA Airforce, I was born abroad and we traveled and lived in other countries. Both my brothers enlisted and served during Vietnam Era.

Beautiful and peaceful

Well, this park was okay. Its got a nice pond with a little deck. Very small park but has restrooms(dirty), playground equipment (outdated), small pavilions, and plenty of tree shade. The bf and I did some yoga here. The ducks were cute.However, I got creeped out by a guy driving a tow truck who parked here. He was pacing waiting for someone and asked where I was from. I didnt make so much convo so he walked away. Then another visitor in her car came to tell me he was staring at me. Ahe said he looked like he touched himself. Then another shirtless guy came up to my boyfriend and I saying that the tow truck guy was his friend and a druggie. He was supposedly letting his sick mom stay at his place but that the tow truck guy keeps falling off the wagon. He didnt like that the tow truck guy was talking to some girl and her mom.Anyway, he also said the pond was a sewage pond and there was no fish. Hes never seen a fish caught.

Nice quiet park. The pond is peaceful with the ducks. The playground is great for younger kids.

It was great. I was there to attend my daughters gender reveal event. It was a great experience for me.

Its a nice little memorial park with a wall of soldiers names to be mourned. The pond is fun to hike around while feeding the ducks or fishing, and it has a playground for the kids.

A nice quiet little out-of-the-way Park not overly crowded.There is a small play area for the children. The condition of which is good.Also they have a pond with ducks which was lovely.I sat and enjoyed my lunch while the ducks swam.

I grew up at this park. It means so much to me and even had my wedding on the pier.

A small park, but our kids had fun playing on the playground. We also enjoyed feeding the ducks, and looking at the memorials from different wars. There is also a geocaching nearby!

Nice lil quaint park to bring kids or pets and spend a few moments honoring our veterans. Not very big but clean and quiet. A small oasis in the city. A duck pond and a couple of verandas with tables and bbq pits. Please police your garbage and try to leave it a better park than it was when you arrived

Very clean park hidden in a very busy part of Lafayette. I have lunch here with my wife almost every day during the week. It is also a quiet place to stop to read a book. They have a small playground for kids as well.

Veterans Park is in a very nice part of town. One of my favorite things to do on a Sunday is head on over to Earls, get a plate lunch, make the short drive to Veterans Park, and eat while I enjoy the weather.

Not the best kept up park but I love it because of that. If you want to go fishing, bbqn, drive your remote control boat, etc this is the spot. Not many people there which is why i like it. Its a nice little park with a playgrounds, bbq pits, and a pond. This is the place to come if you dont like a highly populated park.
