I’ve been coming here since the mid 90s. Now I bring my Son here. Very low key but beautiful trails/views. Situated on a ridge off the Wildcat. Cool look-outs, small clamshell “caves”, and even goes down to the beach when the creek is down. The upkeep isn’t what you’d find at a state park but it’s on private land so the land owners don’t get funding from the government. You can tell the owners do what they can to keep it safe for the visitors. Hats off to the owners for that! All in all, great place to take your kids

Beautiful trails along the scenic Wildcat Creek. Every season offers a new sight. The property is well managed by NICHES Land Trust, local non profit focused on conserving native ecosystems. A natural playground was recently constructed and is a great place for kids to play outside! Highly recommend!

Decent amount of parking. Its across the street and its on a hill so cars may come by fast

This is one of the best hiking experiences I’ve had in the area. There are several different trails to choose from, with views over the Wildcat Creek. Though, unless its been updated/ fixed, one trail is blocked off due to damage.

This was my first visit. It was great. I spent an hour walking the trails. The lookout views are beautiful. The trails are moderate, with a lot of inclines. It a smaller area so the trails are narrow so you have to pay attention to the sides that look like they are wearing away.

Beautiful besides all the trash every where. My child stepped on a rather large board with nails. Hospital trip and IT WAS ON THE TRAIL. (And covered by leaves so you couldnt see it). Clean this up before you allow people here

Small nature preserve with beautiful views both from the bluffs and the banks of Wildcat Creek. Best during the spring for wildflowers, and fall for autumn colors. NICHES is doing good things.

Beautiful trails! The slight erosion in spots on the trail provided a welcome challenge. I only wish that there was easier access to get down to the river level.

Although small there are several well marked trails to enjoy that overlooking the Wildcat Creek.

Went in the late winter so it all depends.Trails were narrow but well worn and safe to walk on. Couple of bridges were out so you cant seem to access the whole park. It was quiet and clean when we went in March. I will be back in the spring or summer.

Beautiful place, much bigger than I expected. A little difficult to navigate since the maps arent very detailed, and it took us a few minutes to figure out the garden entrance is across the street from the parking lot (which is where the sign is). There are so many beautiful native wildflowers and trees, with signs indicating the species and names.

Went in the spring hoping to see pretty flowers, nothing but weeds. One of the trails had a pile of rusty junk and glass. This trail was also so narrow and washed out I almost slid down the hill into the river with my dog. This trail should have been closed.

Beautiful place to hike!! One of the neatest places Ive been too and I didnt even get to explore it all! Great spot to explore and its clean. If you happen to see garbage on the ground....which i never did there...help the environment... pick it up.

We live close and go often. Niches is working very hard to clean up the area and has put in a fun natural playground. However there are some areas still under construction so keep a close eye on kids and dogs!

This place is so beautiful, good trails for the beginner and for the experienced.

Great place for kids and dogs on leashes, one trail and bridge shut down currently. They are building a natures playground and classroom. Trails have 2-3 flights of stairs but otherwise an easy nature walk. Beautiful views of the river. I walked it all in ballet flats.

Perfect trails with minimal invasiveness to the nature around them.

Great place for a moderately challenging hike with four kids ages 9 months, 3, 5, 7. We had so much fun looking at wildflowers, the creek, new spring growth and enjoying bird songs!Only thing it doesnt have is public bathrooms.

This area is beautiful anytime of year especially spring. The trails are a bit steep at times but the views are exemplary. Whats more is that it is just outside of town but still gives you a taste of nature. There are also plaques on the trails that give information about surrounding life and ecosystems.

Very nice trails. My children enjoyed it. The information on signs is nice. Some signs on trees are unreadable and we have to cross a double blind street to reach it from the parking lot. But a very nice place to visit.

My family had a great time walking on the trails together! It was more of just a walk through the forest than a garden experience.

Lots of hills for a great workout. Thoroughly enjoyed hiking around the property.

Nice place to go for a short hike. Trails are not paved. Its not super rugged but there are some decent hills and things to climb. The trail can be a bit narrow in places. There are a couple of lookout points where you can see for miles and one hill in particular thats absolutely swarming with wildflowers. Very beautiful overall.

Lovely gardens and lots of flowers naturalized on the trails on the hills. It is rather steep and many trails include a slope dropping off to the side that slopes straight into the river so be mindful of children or if afraid of heights.

Glad it exists -- probably best visited when in bloom. Be careful crossing the highway.

New trail is quite a bit more rugged than the others. I always enjoy hiking around the trails.

Are you looking for a quiet place for an evening walk? Thats what I was looking for today and this place didnt disappoint. However, some of the trails are a little bit overgrown to the point where I wished, even with the heat, that I had worn pants instead of shorts. Still a nice place for a walk.

Theres a bit of construction and one of the trails is closed. Its been quiet both times that Ive been.

Lovely trails along the Wildcat. Some interesting puddingstone formations and a nice little seep with some wetland plants.

Great place for a hike just minutes from home! Trails can be a little bit tight in places and arent too long, but Clegg is a pretty place to walk.
