I had booked a room with Marina during the pandemic.My initial stay was for 3 weeks, and I just kept extending my stay... 2.5 months!! AMazing!The staff is very friendly and helpful.They respond to any needs and requests very quickly.I had asked if they could get me some papers to write with since I could not leave the room for quarantine, and Kelli came back w papers, a notebook and a pen, I asked if I could pay for it, and she said no. SO sweet of her!Highly recommend booking your stay with Marina!

I ended up putting out my back that laid me up for my entire vacation. Fortunately we had this great condo to stay in. I had great views of both the lagoon and three pools. Good restaurants within a very short walk, which was great because I couldn’t walk very far. Awesome view of the fireworks on Friday night. Bed was extremely comfortable even with my back issues. Very happy with our stay.

I placed my Discovery Bay condominium in the rental pool with Marina Hawaii Vacations early in 2020. The apartment was not for sale at the time, and I fully anticipated having it with Marina through December, at the least. Shortly after Marina rented the apartment, though, we received an unsolicited offer to purchase the condo, and with Marina’s help, we were able to complete the sale. In every respect, the staff at Marina has been amazingly helpful and professional. I cannot speak highly enough of them, and the service they have provided. I recommend them without hesitation, and will use them for my future vacation plans in Hawaii.

After more than ten stays over the years, it is always like coming HOME! The staff are professional and responsive to any needs that you have during your stay. I had a great stay at the Ilikai! Room was nice! People were great. I LOVE the location, quiet and tropical and right on the Waikiki walking path- steps away from night life etc. I STRONGLY recommend the Ilikai!

I really appreciated my lagoon-view condo in the Ilikai. The accommodations, kitchen, location, view, and amenities were exactly as described. I appreciated the full kitchen, the cookware, and the appliances easy use. The location was quiet and situated at the head of Waikiki Beach, rather than at its center, giving me plenty of access to bus transportation within Honolulu and across the island. Communication with Marina was very clear and pleasant. In all, an excellent and enjoyable stay, which I would highly recommend to others.

The Ilikai is by far my favorite place to stay. Easy access to the beach, very nice building in a convenient location for grocery shopping, etc.

Condo was great! Beautiful ocean view, nicely furnished and had all the amenities for my stay. Convenient location, quiet, and safe. Nice furnished lanai, air conditioned, and big screen TV. Loved staying at the Ilikai, and will be back!

The location is great. Bus stops right outside. Very lovely partial ocean view & a complete view of the pool & the lagoon. Rented a car for the last few days, wish that FREE parking was included️.I will definitely stay hear again. The building is older, & the outside could use some updating; however very well kept on the inside.

Wonderful location and incredible unit. Everything you need for a fabulous vacation! The vacation rental was spotless. I also was impressed with the responsiveness of the property management team to any questions I had - highly recommended.

This place is a condo in a hotel/condo building. The views were nice, room was not very clean. Check in process wasOk but could be very troublesome for others as check in is after 4pm but the office closes at 4:30pm, so you only have a thirty minute window technically. Also we reserved a king and we’re given a queen. Location is good. Overall I would say you’re better off staying at a hotel where there is more accountability.

We stayed at #1205 Ilikia suites. Our condo was modern and clean with a kitchen stocked with dishes, a blender, coffee maker, a toaster, rice cooker, pots and pans and utensils. Linens were good quality. King size bed and a balcony with patio furniture. It was air conditioned. TV and WIFI.The Hotel has 2 pools, 2 restaurants, a great convenience store, and other shops.Our condo faced the street but the view was always entertaining.There is a bus stop right in front but town and the Ala Moana mall are within walking distance if you wear good shoes. The Hilton and Hilton village are right next door and there you can find a ton of stores and restaurants. There are several restaurants close by.The back of the building backs out on to the marina, a lagoon and the ocean are right there. We took our snorkel equipment and snorkled around some close by reefs and watched surfer paddle out and perform.It was a super vacation and the service from Marina Hawaii vacations was exceptional and the owner of our condo made us feel welcome. Would highly recommend this agency and this rental unit.Will definitely return.

Room furniture needs updating. Bed mattress getting old, sags a little. Springs in “sofa” also old, making sitting on sofa uncomfortable and sleeping on sofa bed even more uncomfortable - fortunately, we rented a roll away bed which was much more comfortable. Room had strange odor but was otherwise clean. Management company staff were friendly and helpful.

Everything was great except that check-in times are not very flexible. I received an email letting me know my room number and code to get in, but that would have been nice to know at least the day before, not the day of check-in. Better instructions for check-in would be great. Also you only get the towels and supplies as is, and it costs $31 to get more towels. You have to buy your own shampoo and conditioner, do your own dishes before you leave, there wasnt any dishwasher soap. I feel like for the price these amenities should be covered. Also note that valet only parking is an additional $28/day.

It would take hour for the bath tub to drain but not much of a deal. They answer all my questions before, while I was there and after. I love the location and the view was everything. Over all I loved staying there.

Hawaii discounts changed my hotel at the last minute, so i didnt stay at the Marina, I stayed at three Towers in a private condo that was dirty, the bed was terribly uncomfortable, the pull out couch you could feel every spring in the mattress, the AC filter was dirty so my nose was stuffed up and I had a hard time breathing. It was WAY OVER PRICED! The taxes were almost as much as the per night rate. WAY WRONG!! I will NOT rent from Hawaii discounts EVER again!

Very comfortable and relaxing condo, worth staying. The place is closer to Ala Moana than Waikiki.

The level of expectation (based on cost & significant hidden fees) was not met. The room was no better than (and in some ways less than) a budget hotel. It was confusing to check-in, to find the location and parking, I had to figure all of that out. Directions were not clear for parking, or where check-in. The only positive was the lady at check-in, she was professional.

Fantastic 2 bed, 2 bath Room 1934. Great view over Lagoon and ocean. Huge balcony with lots of outdoor tables and chairs. Beach mats chairs and sun shack provided. Kitchen had everything. Comfy beds, bigger than most apartments. Not the most modern but has everything, very clean and tidy but dated. Great value for money. Firework display Friday night viewed from balcony, even could see the Polynesian show at Hilton. Ala Moana beach best beach 10 min easy walk. Food Pantry short walk for groceries with cheapest beer and wines. Pink Line trolley to central Waikiki every 10 mins but Ilikai is at the better end of Waikiki as central Waikiki beaches too crowded. Honolulu is expensive though with tax and gratuities so be prepared for a shock in prices.

Would have been perfect, it it werent for 2 things: 1) entered to a noisy room where the alarm clock was beeping very loudly; 2) toilet fixture was off kilter, making flushing erratic. Otherwise loved the place and all the amenities available in the unit.

Due to maintenance in the unit I originally booked, they upgraded me to an awesome apartment which could not have been better. It was clean, spacious, had everything I needed, plenty of kitchen and bath utensils and an amazing view. The location is very convenient (beach, restaurant, parking, shopping), parking at the lagoon is easy and the customer service was excellent. Thanks for an unforgettable stay!

Good location, room size was good, old establishment but good maintenance and clean, amenities are good at hotel and in the room, doesnt like to have pay for car parking and website misleading, web listed 2 baths but there was only 1 bath

The room was clean and decent. Nothing overwhelmingly nice about it. But clean, so thats good. The hallways werent air conditioned so it was muggy in the hotel. Marina Hawaii Vacations called us during our stay wanting to enter the room and replace the refrigerator with a new one. We said no. We had food in the fridge and werent going to be in the room. They should have scheduled when room was empty. They said the owner scheduled it but then admitted they scheduled it. Very disappointing.

Great location and accommodation. Check in map and procedure tried to be informative but I still had some trouble.

The stay was ok. The pros are that there is a full kitchen, beautiful city views, and a great shopping area. The only cons were toiletries was only s starter kit, no house keeping. My lady would have liked a full length size mirror (personal preference), a full size ironing board would have been nice also. There is plenty around the condo to eat if need be with a beach around the corner.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo unit we got was really nicely decorated, fully supplied, and most of all had an amazing view from the patio.

Everything was broken or not working it was also really old and not what was promised on the pictures on the site, it definitely not worth 1,200$ for 5 days. Also the first day we arrived we had the wrong room number with the wrong code it was 11pm and there was no one to help us with the problem, we had no sleep for over 25hours it was really shocking. The phone number we were trying to call wasn’t responding at all. Horrible.

We have stayed at the Illikai many times but the Marina Hawaii Vacations at the Illikai Tower was a first. the after-hours lock box was certainly unique but certainly manageable and easy. Even though not the hotel and after hours, we were still able to use the Illikai Hotels valet parking services and bellman. The room was spacious and clean. There was lots of storage with extra pillows and blankets too. The bed was comfortable although the bottom sheet was not fitted and I believe too small and we had to keep tucking it in. The internet was excellent and I was able to VPN to access work. The ironing board had to be used on top of the counter but the iron was also better than most hotels we have stayed in. Although we only used a few of the dishes/silverware/etc. available, the kitchen was well stocked with stuff to prepare meals - as long you buy everything you need. The room had coffee packets but no sugar or cream substitutes, a disappointment. By and large a nice, reasonably priced accommodation for my wife and I.

Nice condo on 13th floor with city view. Clean and has kitchen with diner ware and cooking utensils. Condo located in close proximity to Waikiki beach and parks. Shopping mall and restaurants close too. Overall nice location and the beach not as crowded as others.

This Place dont have toilet paper,garbage bags,towels.Nothing you ask they CAN NOT PROVIDE.Everything you have to pay or buy it.The Bathroom are pretty dirty,the glass shower is never been scrub.Full of hairs and they charged me a lot money for that.VERY DISAPPOINTED !!

Our stay at the Ilikai Marina was nothing short of perfect. Well located, clean and spacious. The kitchen had all you needed. Plenty of storage space. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

Disappointing. We were supposed to have a room with a view of the marina and the water but got a room facing other buildings. The mattress was hard and I nearly bounced out of bed every time my husband turned over. The coffee shop on the lower level closed at 4:00 in the afternoon! The hair dryer only heated on the low setting. And could you at least put a box of tissues in the room? My daughter had a room in the same building that was much nicer. She got it through VRBO.

Loved how close to the marina it was and plenty of places to eat.

Everything in the room was quite satisfactory. The only item needing improvement for me is the drain system of the bath tub. The lever that controls it is worn and falling off. After a bath, the water takes so much time to flow down the drain.

If the weather here is hot and muggy, the entire hotel is hot and muggy. Due to the rear opening of the main lobby there is no AC except for what is provided in the room. Staff here was very friendly and eager to help us with everything.

Partial view of the ocean off of our big Lanai was fantastic, perfect view of the fireworks. Beds were very comfortable but the kitchen was old and it stunk when you open the cupboards. Cheapest room I could find with ocean views, would stay again, short walk to the beach.

Room was dirty and smelled wet/moldy. The sheets and comforters smelled and were dusty. The shower handicap railing was rusted and needed to be replaced. Overall cleanliness needs to be improved.

People were all Super nice, however the valet overnight price was a bit high at $28 a night. Not having a change of linens or towels was a bit of a downer but doable I guess.

Good for families with children as close to beach and lagoon. Very old and tired building. Vertical blinds in room needed repair on first day which was done but required daily maintenance by myself to rehang strips. Not the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. Had to clean toothpaste off the bathroom wall. Otherwise reasonable but couples or singles travelling alone could do better. Stay away from Sorrentos on the roof, vastly inflated prices for vastly inferior food. Had better meals on Jetstar when flying home

They ask for all information on flights was a waste of time. Check out is at 11 am got there at 145pm and room was not ready. I when back to the office and people that arrived after me rooms was clean. She told me to come back at 3pm and still not ready. Will never stay here again and its never out of date!!

We stayed for 8 nights.Hotel is in great location.To Restuarants beach shopping and transport.Appartment needed some upgrading.Airconditioning and bathroom fan sounded like a jet plane.Blinds were broken with big gaps.I rang them about them and nothing was done.

When we checked in (Monday) I told the lady that a piece of blind is missing and the blinds in the bedroom are very dusty. The dishes were sticky too. (have to wash it before using).We checked out Sunday....nobody came to clean it and fix it.Location is excellent though.

We recently stayed in the Ilikai Hotel for a week (the week before 2013 Christmas), and really enjoyed the private condo, as well as this management company. Check-in/check-out process was painless, we arrived after the office was closed, but had no issue with the lock-box on the door.The staff was quick to respond to questions and concerns. We arrived 2 days later due to unforeseen problem with United Airlines, but the MHV company was able to deduct 2 nights charge from the final bill, and still managed to keep our reservation. In the end we only needed to pay $100 extra cleaning fee.The hotel offers a full range of services including valet parking, towel service at the pool and concierge. We actually booked the Atlantis submarine trip through the concierge desk. The hotels bellhop service is also very convenient and very reasonably priced: for $1/piece/day, you can store any number of luggages there, far less expensive than airport storage, taxi from and to the airport included!The private condo (1027 partially facing the marina) we stayed was well maintained and very clean. Wall-unit A/C actually worked very well. My only big complaint (the reason that I did not give it a 5-star rating) was that the kitchen was equipped but not stocked at all, no salt, sugar, peppers or any other seasoning. There was one pitiful welcome package that had one pack of coffee, 2 Nestle creamer substitutes, and one tea bag, that was it! When asked about this supposedly fully equipped kitchen, the answer from MHV was: well we do not know what kind of food was left out by the previous renters. We had to drop by the Foodland in the Ala Moana Shopping Center to get those kitchen essentials. I was not impressed with this aspect. On the other hand, the kitchen equipments, including pots, pans and utensils were well stocked and with good quality. My husband loved the Circulon skillets!We enjoyed many mornings waking up to the quiet marina bay; having a sip of premium Kona Mountain Coffee (there is a Kona Mountain Coffee shop across the street, the dark roast is to die for!); and watching the setting of the moon. Because of the proximity to the Hilton Hawaiian Village, we were also able to walk over to enjoy the Friday fireworks.All in all, we like this hotel and the management company, would probably come back again.
